Ok, my PC is very special to me. I only just got it in Christmas, but this PC has meant a lot to me. It is my daily PC. It does everything for me. Video editing, photo editing, gaming, talking to my friends, and even more later down the line. Maybe I’ll start Blender one day, but not for a while. Anyways, let’s start this big review. Sit back, relax, grab some popcorn, and let’s start reviewing. THE ADVANTAGES Before we even start on the pros, (which are a lot) let’s talk about the advantages of having a PC. (Sorry to the people without one!) There are many, but in my opinion, the biggest advantage is that you can multitask so easily. Yes you can photoshop, yes you can do video work, and yes you can play almost every single game. But if you really think about it, the PC is a beautiful, multitasker. How? Well, you can watch a video while playing a game, and while using Blender or video editing. You can do so much at once, that sometimes you may only want to do 1 or 2 things. It does matter on how powerful your specs are, but almost everyone now has at least a dual-core CPU, so you can multitask without your computer exploding. Now are the disadvantages, because there are a few. THE DISADVANTAGES I know right? There are disadvantages to owning a computer? Yes, yes there are. Not a lot, but there are a few, like mobility. You can’t just shove a computer into your pocket. Unless your pockets are the size of the Hawaiian Islands. Another thing is power. Would you like to carry around a motherboard with a power supply with you? No, I don’t think so. You would want to carry around a phone, with a cable. There are a couple of other things, but this isn’t what you came here for, you came here for the review of MY computer. So, let’s begin! THE PROS Uh, do I even need a paragraph for this? Yes. But anyways, there are so many pros for me because I’ve never had a PC, so this feels insane. I also have a really good PC. (CPU, GPU, and AIO review links are at the end.) I felt like passing out when I got it. I love how smooth the games are, I love the video editing work I can do on it, I love the big screen with all of the beautiful 120Hz, and I love that sweet sweet RGB. A lot of people complain about their PC’s, but if you just take a step back and think for a second, you’ll really see that maybe it’s not so bad after all. You’ll think maybe I am really lucky that I got this. Because, you ARE! We are all grateful enough to have all of this cool gear. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have the latest 9.8GHz CPU with 837 cores, you have heart, a PC, and gratefulness. That, is why I love the gaming community. CONCLUSION Oh boy, it’s great. We are all lucky to have this. And again, thank you so much mom and dad for this PC, and thank you stranger for reading this forum. Hope to catch you next time someone gets cancelled. Wait I don’t have Twitte- well whatever. Hope to see you next time, I, see you..? My PC’s Rating: 8274639927383/10. Wonderful. Reviews for CPU, GPU, AIO. I got a pretty strong PC (by the time of course) about 2 years ago. 4770K with Thermaltake Water 3.0 Extreme, Asus Maximus VII Hero, CORSAIR 16GB Vengeance Pro DDR3 2133MHz CL9 kit are the relevant parts. As soon as I got it running I knew my 4770K was terrible. I don't consider myself an overclock pro and I pretty much do everything in this regard by going through guides carefully but I think I managed to decently understand what I should realistically expect from Haswell. And boy was I wrong. I can't get a stable 4.3 GHz overclock with around 1.35-1.37V core voltage. 4.2 is the most I can do with these voltages and even with 4.2 my temps are not that good considering my cooler. I've been dealing with this for the last 2 years but by now I'm really angry and also curious: Did I just absolutely lose the silicon lottery? Does anyone else have a 4770K this terrible of an overclocker or should I try to set a Guinness World Record with this?

Hey Guys You have probably seen millions of these but I really need help with this PC First Time Build. I have no experience from building but I know the specs of things and if they are compatible but I can't figure out what to do. I am putting together a parts list at a price range of ~1000-1200. I need to have all the basics in the build (WiFi,Bluetooth) but seriously need performance as I will be participating in online tournaments and don't want to rock up looking like a total schmuck with a scrubby HP Pavilion G6. Another few things if can be put in the budget is LED's or other things that make it look cool(Green,Black and Blue Theme gonna spray paint the graphics card. Really like Team Red so stick to that if possible but willing to go Intel for higher FPS. I intend to play games like Chivalry and PayDay 2 in Highish settings with a solid 50-60 fps. I do have a relatively large Steam collection. Really want recommendations from people who have these parts or people who have better similarly priced components The Specs so far are as follows: AMD FX 8350 4.0 Ghz 8 Core Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO Asus M5A97 AM3+ Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB DDR3-1866 Kingston SSDNow V300 120GB Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200 RPM MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB Twin Frozr Thermaltake Chaser MK-1 Full Tower (Really like this case) Corsair CX 500W 80+ Bronze Certified LG CD Player Thanks So Much Nicholas Meyer

Hi, I'm new to this forum, and this is my first post : so be gentle with me :D So many people, have dust problems, even when their Desktop is closed (cause mine is open) the dust will get in there eventually over time. So now i had a smart solution about this problem only I'm concerned if this will affect the electra inside the computer. You know those Swiffer cloths, the static cloths who are a lil bit static, so that they magnify dust to the cloth. I never tried this cause i don't know if the static cloth will affect the pc and harm them, but usually when you have your closing panel of the desktop there's a round circle that fit's right to the CPU fan. What if you tape those cloths inside the tube of your closing panel that fits on the cpu fan with those Swiffer magical Dust wipe cloths. Wouldn't this prevent dust getting inside the computer, your fan, or other hardware? and what if you cut a circle shape around the hole where on the other side the tube is, so you have a circle shaped swiffer cloth, around your tube on the outside. Would this help much against Dust going in? Since electra is attracting dust, wouldn't these small solutions prevent it from going in, and instead just stick on both sides of cloth's before they have the chance being sucked in there? I have never seen this on any rig, and i'm surprised that nobody has even thought of this. Could be a great kickstarter project if you guys agree with me, starting something like this in a professional way making perfect sizable static cloths to prevent dust going in would be seriously groundbreaking epic idea.

http://www.youtube.com/user/AndroidPhonesSucks His videos are monetized by pre-roll ads. I wonder how his sponsors feel about his content. The worst thing about him is in his username. He was spamming MKBHD's videos, the most fair of tech YouTubers in my opinion.

I was forced to use Rockstar support when my gamertag was unable to access GTA online. Before contacting support I tired a different disc and reinstalled the addons/patches, and the game itself. The issue was that on my account only, during the first loading screen to online (not single player, single player works fine) it would freeze on the 3rd or 4th online related tile. This has been happening since the huge game breaking bug, where everyone was running around with billion dollar bounties on there head. I did accidentally run over someone with the bounty, which is when I first discovered this bug. I then went onto buying the large dump truck and the Bugatti looking car, and had some great times with those vehicles. This is when the xbox would freeze in the loading screen, but just simply pulling out the disc and whipping it down appeared to solve the problem. About a month after the repair of the bug the xbox froze everytime I tried accessing gta online, single player was still fine. My gold soon expired and I didn't bother to try and solve it. On July 18th a couple of bahds of mine got GTA 5, so I found some trial cards and tried to fire up GTA online, it still froze. Later that day I sent my first of three support requests to Rockstar support. They responded the next day with restart your xbox, try different discs, restart your modem and router. I responded with I tried that already and I also tried another gamertag and it worked a gamertag other than mine. Rockstar support comes back with a link to a forum post and said "this is a known issue and heres the fix" and the support ticket was marked "Solved". So the first step in the forum post ~"unlink your rockstar social club from your gamertag and wait for a couple minutes for the changes to take effect". So I unlinked my account, went out for a hour came back fired up single player and sure enough my Rockstar social club account was unlinked, started online and it froze again, in the exact same spot. I responded to the ticket saying that "I still have an issue, your solution didn't fix my problem, it wasn't useful information." They didn't respond for three days, so I tweeted there twitter account, saying "hey its been three days since I last got a response, is this normal?" Their twitter account responded with "We appoligize for the inconvience and just reply with your ticket number and we will look right into it." About 20 minutes after I replied to that tweet I get a response asking for a screenshot of the ipconfig in cmd, ping test, and what is my ip. I sent them that, and they replied with "We are so sorry for the inconvience this has caused and thank you for your patience we are escalating your support ticket to the next level". An entire week goes by and theres no response. I send a message saying I still need help, how long is the wait for level 2 service. They replied with the exact same bloodly link that they first sent me. The one about restarting your modem and what the crap not. I respond with "what happend to level 2 support?", there was no reply for a week. So I started a second ticket, I mentioned the previous ticket in the discription of this ticket and immediately I got upgraded to second level and marked as "solved.", 2 weeks go by and theirs no response. SOOOO Third ticket now, this is where I have screen shots because the others got marked as solved and they disappear from my support account. I have also been sending tons of screenshots to Rockstar support demoing the issue and showing that other gamertags can access gta online. Heres my twitter history: Heres a copy and paste of the chat log page 1: page 2 Is simply me sending a reminder: "SOOOOO still need help" from one week ago. If you read the chat log, you can see that they asked me to contact MS support, long story short, my gamertag is fine. Thats basically where its been left off. As seen in the twitter screen shots I send them another message basically saying its been a month and I am still at square one of your support. So Ill keep this updated with my progress, in the mean time ill be spreading this around until it gets fixed.

Hey, guys ive been having some problems with my brand new gpu, its the s3 prosavage ddr . So basically i got the last one off of newegg just before they ran out of stock at the black friday sale for 179.99. Heres the rest of my setup- Corsair 900d, Soyo SY-5EHM, Via Samuel 2, s3 prosavage ddr,and i went with the evga supernova 1500w. And also im a huge computer geek so i know what you guys are talking about so dont spare me any details. Anyway i tried to overclock my gpu to 4.2Ghz after following my 8 year old cousins instructions. After i did that the gpu almost exploded inside my computer causing the 900d to shrivel into bits. Everything is still intact though. Since the overclock did not work i am just asking what kind of aftermarket coolers do you guys reccomend for the s3 prosavage ddr. Thanks and once again IM OUT.

Title says it all really. Just being curious as to what is the worst console port of a PC game have you ever seen? The reason as to me starting this topic, is after going through all my games and deciding to play GH3, and seeing how bad it preformed on my PC got me a little annoyed. So for me personally, the worst console port I have seen / played recently is Guitar Hero 3. I would like to know what your suggestions would be. (basically, have a rant, but keep it civil)
