Hello everyone, Ive run into an issue not being able to backup the Config-Files of my pawelmalak/flame Container, since the path I configured a while back seems to be empty: noah@flamedashboard:~$ ls /vw-data noah@flamedashboard:~$ ls -a /vw-data . .. I have not noticed this for Months, since I was able to configure the Dashboard via the Webinterface, with the Changes being persistent between Reboots of the Host and stopping of the Container. Updating the Container resulted in it being reset to the default Config, so I just restored a Snapshot for now, thats also when I noticed that something was wrong. Dear LTT Community, i have a frusttrating problem over the past Months. The Problem is when my Computer freezes just randomly when i do something, i need to shut it off manually because nothing is working because everthing is freezing.When i boot my Computer Up after the freez, the Whole SSD is like formatted its just Emty and not initialized. I changed the SSD to a new one but the problem was not solved, It happens when i reinstall my system and after 3 weeks the poblem occurs and i am really frustrated and i have no other clues what this is. I ran sevreal disk Health programs like HD Tune, checked if the drive is working correctly etc. I hope someone can help me im really frustrated and i dont want to reinstall my system all 3 weeks. Specs: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Asus B450-F be quiet! Dark Rock 4 ZOTAC Geforce GTX 1070! Amp Extreme be quiet! 600W PSU Zotac 120GB SSD WD Blue 1TB

For who knows what reason, Windows 10 decided to make a 100GB partition from my 1TB hard drive. Nothing is on it but the now empty partition is BEFORE the rest of the data on my drive. I know that I can extend a partition to leave the whole drive as 1 location, but through disk management that would mean extending the empty data using the rest of the hard drive that has data on it. Will this effectively wipe the drive? I don't want to mess with all the programs / games / personal data that's on it. Virtually everything besides the OS. Here is an image of what I'm dealing with and why I'm concerned (Deleted the partition before taking the screen shot so it's just unallocated. It was set to F: by Windows before hand) [ Screenshot of Disk Management ] I know I could also use a 3rd party disk management tool to move the partitions but from experience that can take an whole day to do. So I've been having these random empty CMD windows pop up and disappear within milli seconds and it now has gotten to the point to where im worried. I've just assumed they are some kind of quick windows update or patch but since they havent stopped i want to know what causes the pop ups. I've ran a full scan with AVG and Malwarebytes and they both haven't found anything. It doesn't happen often at all maybe once a day but it does get annoying and worriesome as it could potentially be harmful. I saw that another guy posted about this as well but no answers has solved it so far. Thanks.

Ok, so I want to put a set of christmas lights outside of my window. The problem is that they have no room without a lightbulb in them, with just the wire. I can sort of close the window, its a sliding one, but there is still a small hole that I want to either make smaller or completely get rid of. The ideal solution would be to get rid of the few lights that are getting in the way. My only concern is if I can leave them open, or cover them with something. Not sure if just not having a bulb at all would be a problem. Thanks

hi guys, I have 970evo 256gb ssd. I am using around 100gb of it, for system and 2-3 games, but when I go to this pc, it says that I have 2gb left of free space, I did disk cleanup, ccleaner, windir stat says like on the screen shot, file manager also says, that I am using only 100gb of it. I also had another account on this pc, where I had forza 7, which I removed ( whole account), but it seems that the space is still reserved for the game. I have only 1 partition on C drive, that is whole drive as C:. What should I do ?

For some time, I'm unable to burn audio CDs on both my desktop and laptop. After some research I thought it could be the dvd drive being old, but now I switched to a newer oen and the problem continues. The burning process starts and runs normaly, when it finishes the cd will come out as intended. But then, when I insert the CD back inside, there's nothing on the CD, it shows as a empty disk. I have tried burning with the slowest speed available, nothing, but when I burn as a normal data CD it works, the problem is with audio CDs. What can be going on here? I think it may be related to windows 10...

Just curious if any of you guys have ever encounter this type of weird problem before. The SSD or HDD boots up and everything, you see all of the files and programs. Taking that drive and plug it as a 2nd storage on another computer and in disk management, show it as a brand new drive or "not initialized" asking you to setup and format the drive. Now when you take that drive and plugged it back to its original computer, the os boots up and everything is all there. This was my 3rd time encounter this, where I had to transfer the files for one of my clients from their old computer to their new one. I wanted to plug it directly to the board so it can transfer faster, but was forced to transfer over the network.

Hello. So I came here for help a week or so ago and did get it. Had a problem with a new build. However, a new, very annoying problem has come to life. I tried google before I came here but had no luck. From time to time my network connection just dissappears for no good reason (see image) It happens when I install new things. Sometimes it's an windows update, sometimes it's razer synapse (which happened just now) I've been clever enough to make a restore point so I don't have to reformat everytime. But this random game of no network connection is getting the best of me. I'm at a loss as to why this would happen. And after the network dissappers and try to get it fixed I then restart my computer and a American Trends bios thingy message ''overclocking failed'' appears .. However.. I have never attempted to overclock. Does anyone here have ANY idea what is going on? It would be much appreciated.

Hello to any COD Zombies fans that browse this forum! So, after I switched to PC and my 360 died, I couldn't use the console audience in order to play the grief mode of Mob of the Dead. There is hardly anyone at all that wants to play this on PC, in my region at least. (USA, Florida) I'm wondering if there's anyone who would be interested or if there's a place where people can organize a temporary party to play grief when they have the time. I realize that the PC audience in much smaller than that of consoles, but I can't do very well with a controller and my console died, so I'm outta luck. Thanks for your time, Refractal.

My firend just made his PC install a garrys mod server on his 1TB HDD while he was going to get dinner. When he came back the whole drive was empty nothing was left expect for the following folder: $recycle.bin with nothing in it. Before this happend he had 900GB on it but now theres nothing. Does anyone know whats wrong and if he can get the files back?

I have a C partition and a D partition, I don't use any of them just the D for some old pictures when i oped the folder today there were random folders that i dont know of like 0b56754654387526q9u. Is there a problem in my PC ???

I have a spare 1tb hard drive with nothing on it but it's been used before and has had stuff on it. All I did was permanently delete everything. What's a good way to wipe the hard drive to be sure it's got nothing on it before I sell it?

Hi guys, So, recently I decided that my next case and motherboard upgrade would be a Corsair 750D for it's fantastic looks and extreme modular ability. However, I want to put an ATX motherboard in there, and it wasn't until I saw the picture below that I realized just HOW MUCH SPACE there is on the inside. I looked at the 350D and 450D, but I didn't like the fact that they looked so small. I also looked at alternative motherboards but as I am going with an orange theme, there are not many motherboard out there. The one I decided to go with is a Gigabyte GA-Z87X-OC but the only EATX variant was on the ivy bridge platform and I have an i5 4670K. So what can I fill the space up with? I thought about spraypainting on a cool design but I still think it would look empty, and since I am going with air cooling I can't but a reservoir there. Hi, I just built my new computer, and I got an SSD in it that I bought on an auction (it was used as a demo product for a reviewer). Now, I think that SSD still has files on it (my bios told me it had 115000MB free, while it is a 256GB SSD. So, how do I empty the SSD? I still need to install windows on that new PC, but I don't know if that is safe while there are still files on my SSD.
