I am thinking about getting a conch piercing some time soon but I use earbuds on a daily basis for everything from phone browsing and music, to playing on my steam deck so i dont annoy my partner in bed. I have seen that David Gauthier has the same piercing and it looks fully healed and figured there must be a few people on here that have also had them done. Can you still comfortably wear in ears when the piercing has healed? Obviously while it's healing its best not to have something shoved up against it. I am currently using soundcore space A40's, are there earbuds that are more comfortable with piercings if those arent a good mix? Also any other inner ear piercings that people have had done that work/dont work with headphones?

Hi Forum! I recently (sadly) must say goodbye to my Jabra Elite 75t's that have lasted me around 4 years. And now, find myself looking for replacements. I loved those earbuds dearly in basically every way. Any good recommendations? I am thinking of jumping back into Jabra's product line but I'm sure a lot has changed since my last purchase and wanted to seek some advice before just buying something. I know Sennheiser (who I like generally, love my HD560S) has some offerings, they stack up well? And any recommendation is great, even if it doesn't quite fit the criteria, throw it out there. I appreciate all input and advice! Here's my requirements: ANC + Hear through/Transparency Good sound quality Good microphone / call usability Waterproof (at least IPX5 for rain) Wireless (obviously) Prefer to be more like the shape of Jabra Elite 75t's (rather than say air pod pros) ~200 USD or less A few nice to haves (in order of importance to me) Not master/slave setup where you can use either earbud by itself, and not only if the master earbud is in Fully submersible at least temporarily (IPX7) USB-C Charging for case (if that isn't standard nowadays)

Before I get bombarded by "muh just use whatever you prefer" I can't sadly because I have some limitations due to the PC that the company sent out to me to work on. For starters, I need a pair of headphones, ideally earbuds, that are wireless. I cannot use Bluetooth to connect them to the PC as they do not allow me to do so in the group policy, so I am stuck with USB(USB A or USB C both work, I have ports available for both) wireless earbuds. Additionally, it is not necessary for them to have a microphone, I have a desk mounted microphone that handles that for me (Elgato Wave 3). Another reason I would prefer earbuds, is because I wear glasses the entire time while working, and anything that wraps around my ear or covers it directly causes a weird pressure that presses my glasses up against my head which I would have to solve by wearing my glasses all crooked. Battery life isn't the biggest concern because I would only be wearing one ear bud at a time while the other would be able to charge, this is mainly a preference I have because I like being able what goes on around me. Currently, I am using these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CHVWJP7N (EKVANBEL Bluetooth Headset) and while it is not terrible, it is very hard to make it sit comfortably in my ear for longer than an hour and it gets even worse when I go from one ear to the other because the earbud tip itself is just not all that comfortable. Another small squabble I had was that it does take a little longer than I think it should to put on because getting that little loop around your ear just isn't as intuitive as I would like it to be. I have also tried this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C13ZK3LS (LEVN Wireless Headset) which also was not terrible, I actually like these a good amount, but I am not a fan of anything that is going to sit on my head for as long as 8 hours a day on really busy days. Plus that earcup was rather deceitful and did not include anywhere nearly enough cushion to not hurt the outer part of my ears after 2-3 hours of usage, I would often take it off for a small break and be surprised by sore ears. This was also what was causing that weird pressure against my head that would cause me to wear my glasses crooked, the problem I mentioned in the first paragraph of this post. I have started looking at some alternatives and was wondering if anyone has used any of these? And of course I am also open to recommendations. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BM23XX5L (Jabra Evolve2 True Wireless Earbuds) These seem very much perfect, but the price is a bit yeesh and I was curious as to if anyone here has tried them and could testify to their quality? And by that I mainly mean if there is any hassle when it comes to them connecting to a computer or if they are not as consistent as one would hope. The fit is semi important but as long as its comfortable for at least 2-3 hours at a time, no big deal and even then, I can overlook it to a degree as long as they don't cause me pain in my ears lmao. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B87MQG2N (Soundcore VR P10 Gaming Earbuds) These seem like a good option as well and significantly better when it comes to price. Although if opinions lead to "just save up for the Jabra's" then I would be able to do so, but if I could away without having to spend that much out right then I would like to. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B72HWWXH (LG TONE Free True Earbuds T90) These seem like a good middle ground between the Jabra's and the Soundcore's, and while they don't feature a USB dongle, they have the ability to connect the headphone case to a computer via a wire which would then turn the earbud case into a big dongle that charges the headphones as well. My main questions with these earbuds is how the connectivity is between the case, earbuds, and pc. I know LG has other models that have the same feature that turns the case into a dongle but these were the ones I had saved. So yeah, these seem like a good middle ground, my main concerns as always is just comfort and more importantly connectivity. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C32WZJ3N (ZDMYY Bone Conduction Headset) This is a bone conductive headset which is kind of a best of both worlds kind of deal where I wouldn't wear anything in my ears for hours at a day, but I also wouldn't have a big headband sitting atop of my head. The brand name leads me to think that these are just dropped shipped from Ali Express or something. Not inherently a bad thing, just makes me a little weary in terms of build quality. My main worry with these kinds of headsets is that they might get heavy feeling or uneasy on my ears, and I don't think they'll affect my placement for my glasses too badly and I don't see them bothering me too badly in that regard. And then another thing I am worried about that is mainly just with these, is how they might sound. I've never tried anything bone conductive before so it would be my first and a very new experience for me. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BQ1DJMV8 (Poly Voyager Free 60+) These seem like an alternative to the Jabra Evolve2's and while I have not previously heard of the brand, they do seem to be a little more prominent in the work from home/conference headphone space. And my worries are again in the same ballpark as with the Jabra's and the other headphones, so mainly worried about connectivity and comfort, sound quality isn't 100% necessary but would definitely be a positive. Honestly, right now this feels like I'm kind of searching for a needle in a haystack trying to find something that fits all my wants and needs so any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

I have been loving my XM4s until one day. This happed, sitting alone and not charging the case popped open with a puff of smoke and smells, confused i tot to googling, (with a reddit tag otherwise no useful info) and I stumbled upon a smalll form with othes seeeming to have had the exacty same situation as me. Hard to find, and a serious danger, Seems like this one has been swept under the rug a bit... I only found out due to the fact that mine decided to explode when I wasn't looking, sony hasn't asked for a recall and chooses to to replace them with the newer xm5s because the battery manufacturer they went with cut connners. I'm just glad it didn't happen while in use like a the fellow in this fourm: My Sony WF-1000XM4 exploded on my desk... : r/SonyHeadphones - Reddit Sound like a Canadian class action is already in the works, and hopefully people will hear about this, I feel as if this is just going to to be a hush hush replacement until someone really gets hurt. But as for me I bought mine used, so no warranty for me. Least I got to get them signed by LS before the blew up. Hopes this sheds some light in an otherwise ignored topic.

earbuds Earbuds not showing up/Phone doesn't detect them
Noob3000 posted a topic in Phones and Tablets
The earbuds are Hoco ES60 and there is no information on google about them. Tried with multiple phones and they can't detect them. The charging case lights up blue when opened, and red (for a few seconds) after i close it. The case and the earbuds doesn't have any physical buttons. It doesn't make any sounds like it's described in the manual. They are not expensive but they are gift and i just want to see if i can save them somehow. If you have any similar experience or advice please share it with me to try and see if anything helps. -
sadly my cat took my left earbud and i cant find it! hence why i need new ones! maybie cheaper ones! My current ones were the sony wf-xb-700 i got for 40 buck at a sale! but if i wanna buy them now they are more expensive when i bought them! are they old ones? and what are the current ones! am looking for sub 50€ buds! and ones that are current so that there could be some used ones for cheaper! preferance would be very loud and with quite the bass Thanks!

Forgive me, I'm trying to figure out how to best describe this sensation but I'm clearly struggling. Put your fingers in your ears and completely plug them up quick. Now move your fingers around (gently, don't hurt yourself). You hear that super bassy and pressure-y sound inside your head? I'm trying to figure THAT sensation/sound out. Is there something I'm doing which is causing this to be worse and more importantly - is there any way to minimize this sound/sensation while using earbuds? Right now I'm using the Sony Linkbuds S and they're otherwise fantastic buds. The problem I run into is when I walk around, workout, go up/down stairs, etc... I get a THUMP THUMP THUMP with each step.

I work at both the the office and at home occasionally depending on the need. I have found that using my beats for teams meetings works very well on my Dell, and the same can be said for my Iphone. However I am finding I would like to find something that could connect to two sources at once. At home it can get a bit noisy so I use my earbuds to use my phone/Dell laptop as needed. A lot of times I will have music/video/podcasts going on my computer too. I would love to have something that could switch easily between them when my phone rings. I have looked up couple of Multipoint capable devises and would like to here your experience with them if you have any. Thank you.

After watching the Linus review of the LG FP9's I ended up getting them, and the Sony LinkBuds to try out. Like Linus, I sleep with headphones in, and wanted to get something wireless to replace the old corded headphones I'd been using (because kids like to grab). The Sony's unfortunately were too big for my ears and actively hurt to wear, but the FP9's were super comfortable and great to sleep in. Honestly, I really really want to like them. I even bought a second pair when the first shit the bed, but I just can't justify buying a third pair in a year and a half. I saw a similar post about it, but basically the two halves come apart very very early on in owning them, especially if you are wearing them often. My first pair I admit to dropping a few times as I got used to carrying around the case and because little kids find things they aren't supposed to, so I chalked the damage to me. Both devices came apart and had to be glued back together; though even that didn't last forever. Eventually (within a few months of owning them), one ear stopped working completely. I figured my self-glue job would void any warranty so I didn't bother calling support and just ordered a second pair. Well, now that set is doing the same thing. I haven't had an ear stop working yet so they are still functional, but I imagine it is only a matter of time because the right side falls apart all the time now. Same glue issue, but without the drops or kids playing with them. Now, I need to find a replacement, but it's hard to evaluate headphones out there without dropping tons of money I don't have. As I said, I really really like most of the stuff with the FP9's, they last a long time (especially since I only do audio books and not music, so no bass or any other power drains), and they're comfortable for me. So are there any suggestions on ear buds I might like as a replacement? As a side note before anyone suggests them, I hated the old apple earphones; so the PTSD of the pain they caused my ears to wear makes me hesitant to ever try the AirPods or whatever they're called, as I imagine it's more of the same. Thanks for any help!

Given that Linus mentioned a few times that he sleeps with earbuds, could the Labs test how well noise canceling of earbuds and active noise canceling sleep earbuds work against the snoring of a partner?

I've been wanting to get wireless earbuds for a bit, as the wires on my headphones are getting rather annoying. Not using them for my PC, just my phone. I'd get airpods or something but I'm using an android device, so the experience would be neutered. Any recommendations? Preferably ≤$100, but I'm alright with a bit over

I've recently been having audio interference/ random audio pops from front panel. I was recommended the Apple USB C to 3.5 mm jack cable, but the issue is still happening even with it. I believe I may need to use my motherboard audio outs, but obviously there's no 3.5 mm jack to use there. Is there a good DAC/ interface (that's not too expensive) to allow me use my earbuds and would also eliminate the audio pop/ crackle? The pop/ crackle seems to only happen during YouTube videos and while streaming shows/ movies. Also only at certain points of a show/movie/video. Please let me know.

I am looking for recommendations for a pair of earbuds that I can use for gaming preferably under 50. I have fairly small ears so ill try to avoid big earbuds. Preferably with a mic as I'll be using these on my PS4, on my PC I use a separate USB mic so should be fine. I have looked into HyperX Cloud Earbuds and G333 and JBL Quantum 50 but I'd like to hear more recommendations.

Hello, I work in a server room with several devices running their fans on full blast nearby. I'm wanting to upgrade from my crap $20 wireless headphones to either a pair of noise isolating or noise canceling earbuds. Are active noise cancelation earbuds strong enough to drown out fan noises? Or, should I perhaps just get noise isolation instead?

So I keep getting this ad from Status from their wireless earbuds. But I am kinda sketchy about them since they say they compare to 300 dollar Sennheiser momentum 2's for only about a 100 bucks. https://www.status.co/products/betweenpro?fbclid=PAAaY9Ginx77_x06kk9M3TBb_ZIqeVdeoHSJwTrCwxJQehARyoH6-pmmCPdo4

Hi Everyone. Its my first time posting here so I hope I am doing this correctly? I am looking for a pair of truly wireless earbuds that had built in storage, such as the bragi dash, but looking for a more budget pair. I want to be able to go for a run and listen to music/podcasts without having to take my phone with me. There are some older earbuds that I can find, but I would rather have something more modern so that I can actually enjoy the listening and pairing process. If anyone has any experience with a pair they can recommend I would appreciate it greatly. Thanks!

I wanted to know best wireless earbuds for meetings and long calls. I have to attend meetings daily online and I currently use corsair hs60 and hyperx cloud alpha. I walked while talking so I need wireless earbuds for this purpose. Things we usually consider before buying one are Battery life Build quality/durability Sound quality Comfort ANC But these are things mostly every high end buds provides now like samsung, sennhiser, apple, bose, sony etc What I am looking for is the best mic quality, kinda comparable to headset with a hanging mic right against ones mouth. I am leaning towards samung buds pro but I am still not sure if its really provides the call quality I am after. I really like airpods pro but I use android and so these wont be a good match for me. Does anyone use earbuds for meetings and have great experience and wanna share?

Hi all, So after many years of use, my Jaybird Run's are close to calling it quits as I've been having issues with the case charging the ear buds etc. I was looking at buying the Vista 2s but turns out Jaybird no longer sells their products in Australia/New Zealand so I'm on the hunt for some new true wireless earbuds. Key things I'm looking for however is a low profile fit and decent enough sound quality. These are going to be used at the gym so don't want to spend too much as these are not going to be daily drivers (for context my Run's were $209 nzd) Am on android aswell so any recommendations for Airpods are kinda moot lol Was hoping someone on these forums will be able to point me in the right direction. Cheers!

Hello everyone, I have an issue with an earbuds, they are the Lenovo TWS True Wireless Earbuds S1. For some reason the right earbud doesn't want to turn on anymore since this morning, I tried to charge it but it seems that I doesn't do that too, however is not any dust on the metal parts that made contact with the port charge in the case and isn't the case because the left earbuds charge just fine. They haven't been exposed to water, dust, higher or lower temperatures that the indicated in the manual of the manufacture (-15°C ~ +60°C), even they haven't been drop to the floor. They were bought by my brother almost 6 months ago so it's not possible that the battery is just too old. If anyone has a solution, please say it in the comments. Thanks !
