Specs: Ryzen 7 5800x 32GB of RAM 3070ti MSI x-trio Noctua cooler HX 850 PSU 980 Pro 1TB m.2 Games that crash: The Finals Lethal Company Helldivers 2 I have a problem with some of my games crashing after about an hour of gameplay. Sometimes they don't crash if i close literally all other programs that are open on my PC but it's not guaranteed. I asked some moderators and help desks on the official discords of these games and i ran memory diagnostic tests, turned XMP on and off, uninstalled, reinstalled, verified integrity of game files about 8 times but that didn't fix it. I changed my display port cable, switched slots and still no fix. Here is the exact problem: I'm playing the game normally with nothing wrong and out of the blue, my screen goes black for half a second and comes back frozen, only to go black again with game sounds stuttering. I've read that this is an Nvidia driver crash, caused by not having enough VRAM but i have 8GB of Vram and it should be more than enough to run all of those games. Also, i used to be able to play all of those games without any problems and i have been experiencing this issue for about a month now. So, my screen goes black, sound stuttering and after a few seconds, the game tab closes by itself, sometimes my whole graphic settings are reset and i can clearly see that my PC is a lot slower than normal. I check task manager and can't see my GPU. I go to check Nvidia Geforce and nope, suddenly they don't recognise my GPU. A restart fixes this but it keeps happening and just annoys me so much. I attached some of the errors that i got from various different programs.

Hi Folks. I bought a used XFX Radeon RX 5700 because the my old 1060 died. The seller was runnign firestrike and timespy benchmarks and the tomb raider (ingame) benchmark while. I could see it running for myself. There was no problem. After i installed it into my system (at the time: r5 2600, 16gb ram 2400mhz, 530 watts PSU, asus prime x370 pro) i played more pixel indie games at the time and not any demanding games. Later i played Diablo 2 Resurrected, Palworld, Witcher 3 and the game crashed only after a few minutes in game. First i got flickering in and out of the game and than a crash to desktop with a massage for driver timeout. Again and again and again and again.... I tried to solve the problem by reinstall windows and clear install the amd software. After that i tried to use the enterprise software, also not working. Then i tried drivers only, same s**t. After looking for help on YT and Goolge i thought i found the problem: the PSU. changed it to a corsair cx750m (750 watts) and did not used the daisy chained 8-pin cables for the card but give it 2 individual cables. It looked like it was working for a bit but.... nope. after a reboot i got the same problems again. I also tried to reduce the speed of the card over MSI afterburner but it did not work at all. If i use benchmarks (no ingame benchmarks) its running alright. I was so fed up i installed an old 1060 from a friend. My old mainboard died on me last month and i could do nothing untill now i got a replacement (have not much money because of continuing my education). The "new" system is a R5 5500, gigabyte a520m s2h, 16gb ram with 3200mhz and the same 750 watts PSU. So i gave the RX5700 another try.... As you can think... it did not work at all and i got the same s**t like befor. The LTT Forum is my last try to get that beast to work. If not... save up some money and change to team green. Im at the end of my wits here. Thanks in advance.

A new driver came out 8/14/2017 and as soon as I saw the notification, I downloaded it. The update was going all good but when it finished, both of my monitors have very washed out colors. Could this happen because I downloaded the update right as it came out? I've looked on other forums and tried adjusting the control panel settings which seemed to have worked out a little, but still leave me with very washed out colors compared to what they used to be. I have a PNY 970 4GB. Both monitors are 1920x1080 but my primary(left) monitor is 144Hz 1ms using the DVI-D cable that came with it and my secondary(right) monitor is 60Hz 5ms using a VGA to mini HDMI cable. I've attached 8 screenshots of my control panel settings. NOTE: If you're going to refer to the screen shots below make sure you're talking about the correct monitor because there is two of them and the name's are similar

So i had some problem with my (Realtek) sound drivers. At first it was that my laptop didn't have any audio sound and headphones with jack didn't work, so i thought that ill just delete it and reinstall new one (i tried to update but it said that it had already newest drivers installed). I reinstalled new ones that worked (I reinstalled the same ones btw). After few weeks i noticed that windows started downloading latest version of sound drivers so i didn't think anything bad of it i left the laptop to download the updates came back to a blue screen of death. Since then i tried troubleshooting, all those cleaning commands on cmd, tried to reset laptop but it gets to 60% then blue screen appears again, even tried to reinstalling windows 10 but it also goes in to blue screen, and blue screen always has the same error code :NOT LESS OR EQUAL. Im at a loss please someone help me.

Hello, I recently bought a Surface book 3 with the Quadro RTX 3000 but noticed that some games run fantastic and others barely run at all. Is there some type of way to get GeForce drivers as I believe it could be a driver problem.

So to make a long post as short as i can i been troubleshooting a driver issue for 2 weeks now and I've ruled out every possible cause down to just a single driver version not being the correct one. I use game bar on window every single day to chat with friends who are either also on pc or playing on their xbox. I use an xbox controller with a connect xbox headset that suddenly stopped working about 2 weeks ago for no reason. I've test the device on 4 other computers ranging from windows 10 to 11 that were all up to date on everything. However the driver i have on the problem computer (10.0.22621.1) is a later version and the other 4 computers have the exact same older version (10.0.19041.1) and showing no available updates. I will include images for that. After doing every single other possible IT move under the sun the I've decided i need to move the driver back. However there is no rollback option, its greyed out and i cant copy system32 drivers from the old pc to thew new one. I need to roll this driver back to the older one and i don't know how. Please help.

Hello there reader, I currently have a problem with my USB C Dongle for the Steelseries Artics Nova 7. It worked fine until I decided to upgrade from a 1660 super to a 4060 ( Roast me ) but It was a good upgrade in my case. I had used DDU but I got crashes mid game so I decided to reset my PC and ohh ohh that was a mistake. I downloaded the GPU drivers, Chipset Drivers but yes now I have a problem that if I insert my dongle directly in my motherboard it doesn't work what a bummer. It's working when i use a normal USB to usb C and plug my dongle in to it. It's just not working if I put it in my Motherboard. Please help me with this problem I have tried everything. Specs: r5 3600 b450f Gaming RTX 4060 650W Thank you in advance

Every time I try to connect my bluetooth headphones (Sony MDR-XB950BT) to my computer, I only get the "hands-free audio" which gives horrific audio quality and not the full capabilities of my headphones. I used to be able to get the full range but due to some driver issue I only get that. I checked device manager and found that the Microsoft Bluetooth A2DP device was giving an error with Code 52 and that should be the source of my error. So I tried to reinstall my bluetooth drivers (I use the built in bluetooth from my motherboard, Gigabyte B450 I AORUS PRO WIFI) and even after going through every version Gigabyte had to offer, I still get the error. Is there anything I could do from here? Basic Specs - Motherboard - Gigabyte B450 I AORUS PRO WIFI (Latest BIOS) CPU - AMD R5 2600X

so I have a 5700 XT from PowerColor that kept crashing in game, but weirdly enough if I use the old 2019 driver (19.7.5) I never experienced a single crash why is that? I've tried all other drivers that's newer than the one I'm currently using (ADRENALIN 19.7.5) it all resulted in a crash. I've tried swapping CPUs, Motherboards, SSDs, RAM sticks, PSUs, I also tried another GPU on all my config it all performs normally except the one with 5700 XT (with driver newer than 19.7.5). And even in the old driver I have to lower the memory clock to max 600MHz otherwise it will crash in game. Is there any way to lower the memory clock below the limit on the newer driver which is around 1500MHz to atleast 600MHz? which from my investigation it seems the memory clock is at fault. I would appreciate any kind of help regarding my trouble here. Thank you.

hi there, hoping to assist my friend with an issue he has encountered His PC no longer starts after basically reinstalling SSD drivers, he only did this because he says he is supposed to have 3x the speed off the SSD. The steps he has taken so far include: - Removing the GPU and trying to clear CMOS (he told me that CMOS does not get cleared for whatever reason) - 15 attempts with just the mobo connected, no GPU, different RAM placements and resets he says that he might try using a different CMOS battery his motherboard is like 11 years old, so it's possible that he might need to replace the board He says it's possible that it could be a bad config in the BIOS I asked him if his mobo has a BIOS flashback button, he said it has the spot for one but not the feature I told him to possibly try updating the BIOS, if possible. His mobo stopped receiving updates since like 2015. He tries to shuffle around the SSDs as well, his PC still does not post and doesn't even display a message about no drive and let him press Del key to enter setup. Any commentary or advice, suggestions would greatly be appreciated, thanks.

I was just using my computer normally when it just crashed like this suddenly. Tried restarting but nothing happened, just bought a new graphics card (MSI 3x Ventus OC) and can't find any details anywhere on what happened. Sounds of the computer switching on and everything is happening and when I tried connecting to another port same issue is there. PS- Tried restarting for a bit longer but now there is no more output . I actually took a loan out for the graphics card and now I'm a bit scared of something happening to it.

Hello, I have recently downloaded Fortnite on my HP ENVY x360 Convert 15m-es0013dx laptop and when you try to launch it says, "The installed version of the Intel graphics driver has known issues. Please install the latest driver version. Would you like to visit the following URL to download the driver? https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/80939/Graphics Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics Installed: 30.0.101.1340 Minimum required: 30.0.101.1404" When I try to download the driver is says it will remove the OEM customizations if I download and install the graphics driver. I have checked HP for driver updates and it says I don't need any. What can I do? My OS is Windows 11 Version 23H2

Hi, I recently got my hands on a Beelink SER7 mini PC, which comes with an AMD Zen 4 CPU and Ryzen 7 7840HS (Radeon 780M?). I am using Ubuntu Server (Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS) and am trying to make use of the graphics card similar to a GPU for running machine learning models. I've dug through some other forums and haven't been able to make it work thus far, using various driver versions and PyTorch for ROCm etc. Would appreciate any insight or support on this.

Started a few days ago when every once in a while during gaming, my GPU would crash and go a black screen followed by a full PC crash. I thought might be my GPU cable so when I checked the cable I found the header to be a little burnt. I had no spare cables, so I just made sure the connection was solid and kept going for a while. Got advice from someone to replace my power supply but I wasn't convinced it was related to the power supply and maybe only the cable. Fast forward to today and the GPU is crashing like never before. At a point, it started crashing as soon as Windows loaded. Loading windows in safe mode disables my GPU and its drivers and everything works just fine. When I reenabled the GPU and restarted my pc it started crashing on start-up again. I suspected it might be a software issue instead and when my PC finally did manage to boot, trying to open the AMD software gave me a notice saying something along the lines of "AMD software is not compatible with the current version of AMD drivers." So I reinstalled the drivers but to no avail. It crashed after around 30 minutes again and has been crashing on start-up unless I boot into safe mode. Safe mode seems to show no trouble at all. The GPU fans seem to spin up from time to time to keep cool as well. I should note that this problem has occurred before. Popped up for the first time last year when the GPU started crashing during long gaming sessions. When I checked the cable, it was badly burned. I had a spare cable back then so changing it solved the problem temporarily until now. FYI the cable is a six pin cable and not all of the pins are getting burnt. Only 3 pins are getting burnt where one of the pins at the outer corner is getting burnt the most. So I need help identifying the real reason behind this issue and figuring out how to fix it. TIA

Hi everyone of this awesome community, I have had the last two weeks the most head breaking problem whit my Bluetooth. It just disappaered, no trace of Bluetooth ever existing on my laptop. I go to setting but couldn't turn it on or off. couldn't add any devices. I tried all this but whit no luck. Things that DID NOT work: Using the Windows 10 quick actions panel to turn on Bluetooth. Result: This option did not appear at all. Using Control Panel's Bluetooth settings. Result: This option did not appear at all. Device Manager - scanning for hardware. Result: No effect. Drivers for the hidden Bluetooth devices were already up to date. Windows Updates. Result: No effect. Reinstalling the recommended Acer drivers for the package (Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377). Result: No effect. Performing a typical restart of Windows. Result: No effect. Using services.msc to start, restart, or reconfigure Bluetooth-related services. Result: No effect. Reinstalling third party driver packages for the same hardware. Result: The installer would not complete because the Bluetooth hardware was not detected. Windows Troubleshooter for Bluetooth. Result: The troubleshooter would not complete because the Bluetooth hardware was not detected. The one thing that fixed it all!! Do a complete shut down (hold SHIFT and shut down the computer), unplug the computer from all power for 10 seconds, plug the computer in and start the computer. It just reappeared and worked fine. Finally this fucking he-adage of a problem is over. I wanted to share this because i noticed lots of people having this problem. My network chip is a Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 Wireless Network Adapter in a Acer Aspire E5-575G ligthly modified whit extra ram and storage. Have a great day.

Here is the issue at hand for myself. To start. I have: CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 5600G GPU - AMD Radeon RX 6600XT (XFX) Motherboard - Gigabyte B5500 UD AC Ram - 2x 8GB TeanGroup UD4 3200 DDR4 Windows 11 I've been having issues with all games and programs that use DirectX 11 will constantly hard freeze, completely crash whilst frozen, or just straight up ends the task altogether. It only happens with DX 11. All games/programs using any other DX or Vulcan work beautifully without any issue. The things I've done to try to get DX11 to work haven been: Remove GPU drivers with ddu, rollback drivers, uninstall and reinstall programs, removed over-clocks, lower the settings (which often when I would reduce settings it would crash far more frequently then when maxing settings), tried borderless, monitors, change display port cables, re-apply thermal paste on both GPU and CPU, reinstalling DX, using the CMD line to check for corruption, etc. I'm out of ideas as to how to fix the issue as I know there have been multiple threads on it in the past but I have yet to really find a direct answer that's not game specific. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Summary On October 2nd, 2023, ARM disclosed three security vulnerabilities for the Mali GPU Kernel Driver. The security vulnerabilities affect a significant amount of devices, and there are indications that one vulnerability may be under limited, targeted exploitation. Patches may not be available for all devices. Quotes On October 2nd, 2023, ARM disclosed three security vulnerabilities in their GPU kernel drivers. The security vulnerabilities affect a wide range of ARM GPU drivers, including multiple different architectures and versions. For specific information on affected drivers, please see ARM's Specifications Page. The vulnerabilities have been addressed in Android's latest security patches (2023-10-05 or higher). According to Google's Android Security Bulletin for October 2023, there are indications that one vulnerability (CVE-2023-4211) may be under limited, targeted exploitation. For more information regarding the vulnerabilities and security updates, you should check with your device manufacturer. Assuming, of course, that your device is still supported... Note: for Google Pixel owners, this vulnerability has been addressed in the September security update (2023-09-01). My thoughts I'm not an expert in this area so I can't say this with confidence, but it seems like a LOT of devices are going to be affected by this... including devices that are not supported anymore. Not only are Mali GPUs used by many manufacturers, the security vulnerabilities seem to be included in many driver versions. Look at their Bifrost architecture drivers, for example. ARM says that kernel driver versions from r0p0 to r42p0 are affected, and going by what's on ARM's developer page, that's every kernel driver before March 24th, 2023... and r0p0 was released in June 2016. Nearly seven years worth of drivers are affected, and who knows how many phones can't update due to discontinued support? Also, my current phone is a Galaxy S9+, which uses ARM's Mail-G72 GPU... which is based on ARM's 2nd generation Bifrost architecture... and Samsung doens't offer updates for the S9 anymore. Time for a new phone... I guess? I just received my stubby driver today and call me crazy but the ratchet feels completely different (in a bad way) to the larger driver. Backforce, although I have no way to measure this, seems higher and the ratcheting seems not as smooth. Directional selection also seems much stiffer. Could this be a one off faulty driver or has anyone else noticed a difference between the two in the same way? Thanks!
