Hi, currently I'm helping a friend regarding his pc build which does not boot. The components: - Mainboard: N7 Z790 - CPU: i9 (exact model not present at the moment) - CPU cooler: NZXT Kraken 280 - RAM: 2x 16 GB Fury from Kingston Direct after turning on, the LED for CPU and RAM is on. I changed the ram, but the same happens. The orignal build was done by the friend so I do not know what exactly happened during build. I completely disassambled everything and checked the cpu on the motherboard, removed every not needed cable, but still the same. After running the mainboard, cpu, cooling and ram outside of the case, I can hear that the pump on the cpu is "running" but except some led light of the cpu cooler. Since ram was changed and the mainboard was sent to the seller and came back without any repair the only problem could be the cpu or the cpu cooler. Or am I wrong? Thanks a lot for your help and suggestions.

I recently swapped out my motherboard from a MSI B450M Bazooka to an ASUS TUF Gaming X570 (WiFi) and about two weeks in to using the new motherboard My GPU started crashing, blackscreening and then restarting NVIDIA Container What happens is as follows: I'll be doing <anything on my pc> GPU will boost to 100% Power Draw and Clock Speed Nvidia container will Crash Nvidia container crashes leaving me with a black screen for 1-3 seconds Nvidia Container restarts but crashes every application that was using gpu wait 15-30min and loop to step #1 I have already RMA'ed the GPU so it wouldn't be that Also My cable extensions have started falling apart ( just the sleeve, not the cable [from what I can tell] ) SPECS Ryzen 5 2600 ASUS Tuf Gaming X570 (WiFi) 16GB CL15 3000Mhz Corsair Vengeance LPX CoolerMaster v850 (Gold Cert) EVGA FTW3 RTX 2070 Super Thank you! So I had Insiders, but I hated the issues so I wanted to go back. I come back to my computer with the code 0xc0000225. So I am like screw it. I have wanted to put windows in SSD anyway. I want a fresh start on my pc. But where do I start how do I keep my Windows key (no idea what the key number is)

Update: I am definetly getting this display: That old intro ^^ It may be 5 years old, but it is waaaay better than anyting i ever had, so i'm sure i'll have a great time with it. And I was able to negotiate a price of 90€, so about 100USD, down from 120€, and i think thats a good deal for a 60Hz 4K G-Sync Monitor. What I found so far I consider buying are either a Acer Predator XB280HK 4K G-sync, 60hz For 120€ Or a AOC G2460PG FHD G-sync, 144hz For 199€ My system specs: R5 3600 Rtx 2070 16gb ram I already have a 60hz WQHD for media consumption (terrible tearing when gaming), and I am still gaming on a 10+yo 75hz LG LCD (less tearing, still no great experience) I mostly play singleplayer RPGs like the Witcher, the elder scrolls, fallout... Occasionally some day-z, pubg etc with my friends. When I play I do it for my own fun, not to be competitive. I couldn't care less about winning or losing a match (pubg for example) so 144hz for me would have less to do with any competitive advantage and more with the smoothness. But I guess g-sync in general should be a good experience, at 60hz and 144hz. Any advice and all your critical thoughts are highly appreciated.

Ok so I just finished building my PC (no os yet) https://pcpartpicker.com/user/MARINE_TIGER/saved/trXbXL Here's the issue motherboard only has 1 CPU fan header, case has a pwm fan controller that says to plug into the CPU fan header, so I did that. CPU cooler(I believe it is the "fan" inside the pump(IDK though)) says to plug in it on CPU fan header. Looked around and found the pump fan header plugged CPU cooler into that. Did I do it right?

hello, might sound like the dumbest question ever in history, but i want to correctly do it all. I know after downloading and setting up OS, theres driver time, however its my first time building a completly New rig, so what do i actually download and what does the Windows update download? since Laptops already come preloaded, but i dont know about self-built systems. I Guess an antivirus first (my father have a key for paid panda antivirus) then i install GeForce for the GPU, then some motherboard Applications, Aura sync and stuff, but do i really need anything else at this point? Heard something like BIOS flash etc. then i should be set i supose? besides downloading my usual stuff or programs that i might need.

Hi, I am attempting to run Hypergan, but cmd does not recognize it as a command. In the path variable, there is a path to it (C:\Users\<myname>\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python36\Scripts) Checking the folder itself, hypergan is there but it's just a file and not an application. I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. Can anyone help me out?

i'm going to upgrade my old PC (an Intel DH61WW motherboard with a i5-2300 2.80GHz and a Nvidia GT430 2gb ddr3 made by Sentey) It's going to be a whole build since this old one is going to be for my older brother who doesn't need much gaming power. Since i live in Argentina, not all parts are available and some are really expensive due to shipping taxes on imported components and all that, so i managed to get a list of things i can afford and i can buy here. Case: Deepcool Dukase V2 (already bought it) PSU: Nzxt 700W Hale82 V2 80plus bronze fully modular CPU: i7-6700K GPU: Msi Gtx 1060 Gaming 6gb Ddr5 Cooling: Corsair H80i GT (already bought it) Motherboard: Msi H170 Gaming M3 Ram: Kingston 8GBx1 Ddr4 2400Mhz (will add another 8GB later) Storage: 1TB HDD / 240gb SSD for OS(Windows 10) and a few games/apps Display: a normal 1080p monitor (here gaming monitors are EXTREMELY expensive, half the price of all the parts listed above) Others: 'cheap keyboard and mouse and headphones/speakers i already have' (mechanical keyboards and mouse are also really expensive but eventually i'll buy them) All of this (except the ones i already bought/have) are something like $1.600USD (without the shipping taxes and all that it should be about 900-1000, so take that as the final Price) Now the questions: I7-6700K: is it what i need? i'm only going to play at 1080p, probably will add 1 or 2 other monitors (and maybe one day buy a 1440p or 4k monitor I will play EVERY new game that comes out and maybe do game recordings and video editing for FUN. GTX1060: i was going for a GTX970 but i saw the 1060 is much better at a minimal Price difference here so.. Hello there, thank you for checking out my topic about my latest update of my main PC. I have been working this machine with my Corsair 900D case, since it was build in April 2015. At the time I built it, it was just meant for pure performance and OCing. Of course I always make sure, that when I´m just building for performance, it also looks okay, but looks were just a second thought. Now I´m reworking this machine to make it a lot more beautiful and pretty, and I really wanted to go back to hard tubing and other nice features. My hardware in this PC is used for rendering, compressing, editing, benchmarking and gaming of course. I have been working with custom watercooling for a very long time already and so I have all the necessary experience to make this something special. I will update this thread, as I´m advancing in the progress of reworking the computer, with pictures and probably also a VLOG with some building guides if I find the time to do so. I´ve never had too many specific names for my PCs, so I just called it the Big Boy since the 900D is such a massive case. This multirotor will fly circles around any pre-built aswell as be able to hold 2 cameras and having tons of options for upgrades. I do not recommend this build for your first build unless you are willing to go slow and make mistakes. If you would like a good first build part list let me know. If you have never flown a multirotor before I highly recommend getting this cheap pre-built it's $30 bucks and worth every cent if you are learning how to fly.
