First of all before you ask my PC specs are Intel Core i3-6100 16 GB DDR3 RAM dual channel MSI GTX 950 ti 2 GB Asus B150M-AD3 mobo Hello recently made the upgrade from my terrible AMD processor to an Intel Core i3-6100 which I was glad to see ran my main game Counter Strike Global Offensive at around 130 fps compared to 40 fps, however when I installed I encountered a problem that while hyper-threading is on in BIOS (i3-6100 has two cores hyperthreaded) I was still only getting two threads, I put this issue on the back burner as I still ran at an acceptable 130 fps even though a build like man should average much higher frames especially on the settings I play (1024x1280 stretched all low) and needed to get back to practicing. However now after not changing any settings in game or bios my frames have dropped to 30 fps. I have ruled out background processes stressing my cpu and thermal problems. I'm glad for any advice you can provide and would like to hopefully have things in top shape by Saturday as my team has a scrim then.

So just recently I've started suffering form massive fps drops in every game I play. I'm usually hovering around the 200-250 fps, and then it's suddenly 30 fps for 2-5 seconds. Also the input is all screwed up whenever this happens (I can't change weapons for example). Al temps are fine, I got task-bar and hardware monitor running on my second screen, and everything is fine, I simply can't find the cause of this. Plz help! Specs: FX-6300 @ 4.5 (evo cooler) GTX 980 (I know, but it was really cheap) 8 ddr3 gb ram Game running of my SSD.

I want to make a montage of some cool clips from professional cs:go matches. For example, some famous KennyS shots, well known clips in general, or any other impressive play. How can I find these match id's so I can download them through cs:go and take cinematic shots? I cannot find any id's on google or from any friends. Please either help me by sending me match id's from professionals, well known clips, impressive clips, or provide me with a way to find match id's like this.

Hi all, So I am having issues with Battlefield games and CSGO. I have played these games with the same drivers for the last 2 months or so, and they have worked fine until the last two weeks. CSGO will refuse to launch- It will say "Running" and display me in game but the game will never actually run. I have been able to get around this by restarting, but today nothing seems to work. With Battlefield I am getting a directX error- hoping to fix this by installing new drivers. Any advice anyone? Thanks.

Hello, I understand that threads like this don't last very long but I really need some answers and help, I will cut the chase quickly and if you want some of the back story its at the end, I have around 5mb's a second download speed at best with no one using it. I have around 0.30mb's a second upload speed with no one using it. When playing csgo competitive with no one on my internet is fine and play able around ( 60 ping ). When someone watches a youtube video etc in my house my ping then rises and the game becomes unplayable around (200-1500 ping), I understand why this is, more bandwidth is being used etc and theirs nothing I can do about it. I want to play cs normally without any latency problems, Its impossible to get more MB's a second because where I live making this not an option. If you have any questions PLEASE do not hesitate to ask my, I am desperate for answers for my problem, all I want to do is be able to play cs normal. The question: Is there anything else i can do , I have tried most settings and even had a go at QOS which didn't work seeing as though I have hardly any bandwidth anyway to share amongst all of the devises in my house. THANK YOU! So much for reading anyone who solves my problem will be rewarded the best I can at this time.

Hi! im new to this site so i hope this is the right section to write this question. So i recently bought 2 extra Benq 24'' 60hz monitors to have as sidemonitors to my current benq 144hz, everything worked fine until i tried csgo when i realized as long i have all three monitors connected there is no option to choose 144hz on my main monitor anymore, i have run 3 monitors before, on win 8 with Dp port-vga adapter, dvi to dvi and hdmi to hdmi. On my current setup i still have my main monitor to the dvi port, and the side monitors with Dp port - dvi adapter, ive also tried to change them up and try hdmi-dvi adapter for my side monitors but it simply wont work when all three are connected. Im currently running windows 10, and i cant force the resolution through amd controlpanel either, becouse it simply wont let me. Is my graphic card just to bad or am i missing something? (If i have all three monitors plugged in when i boot the pc i have to remove one & the restart to be able to put 144hz back on.

A new mod came in for Counter Strike: Global offensive, it allows for weather modification. Like Rain, snow, hurricanes and much more. Found this article and it's all described preety well. I think it would be awesome if they could implement it in the game as standard. It would change the game and it will raise the difficulty of it, also making it much more fun and realistic. I know this isn't battlefield but a bit of weather modification would do nice.

Hi, I downloaded CS:GO about two days ago and I'm noticing that it uses my CPU so much. These are my specs: - Intel Core i5-6600 - 16 GB ram - Gigabyte GTX 1050 Windforce OC - SanDisk SSD 240 GB - WD Blue 1TB (where the game is installed) Playing I reach 50°C on the CPU which is liquid cooled by a Masterliquid 120 and around 60°C on the GPU. I tried to look in the task manager, and I noticed that is CS:GO that uses so much CPU and there aren't other background processes that drain. Setting the antivirus (Bitdefender) in game mode the fps icreased from 150 to around 200-250 but they aren't so stable. I don't know what to do... I wonder if it's a cpu problem because even when I export files from lightroom the CPU reach 100% of usage

Shadowplay cuts off part of the right side and bottom part of my videos
Guest posted a topic in Programs, Apps and Websites
https://imgur.com/a/541UBTt https://imgur.com/a/ye8E3Fy As far as I know this problem only occurs in CSGO, and it happens no matter what resolution I play at. I've only heard from one person that this is a bug with the nvidia drivers but I don't want to uninstall the drivers unless I'm certain. Attached is a video to show how cut off the bottom is. First of all my specs CPU: i7-7700 (non k) GPU: GTX 1080 ti aorus xtreme Ram: 1 stick of 8ddr4 crucial 2666mhz 1 stick of 8ddr4 kingston generic ram 2400mhz Mobo: Asrock b250m Pro4 (bios version p1.50) only supports 2400mhz Psu: Gigabyte P650b (obviously 650w) HDD: 1 tb seagate barracuda SSD: 240 gb kingston (SA400) OS: Windows 10 (OEM) latest version Monitor 1: samsung CFG7 23.5 inch curved 144hz 1ms 2: Asus VP228 inch 60hz My problem is i'm having low fps In some games Mainly cs go for example on the cs go benchmark map I used to get 330 fps avg, now I get anywhere between 140-200 on benchmark idk what caused the problem and even tho 330 was low to begin with the cpu usage and gpu usage is extremely low in the benchmark and game in game usually gpu is anywhere between 10% and 30% usually in matchmaking its 20% with the cpu 30% to 50%. My fps in matchmaking (Competitive game) is Moving alot from 120 fps to 360 depending on the situation. I play on 1440x1080 resolution on all low settings I also tried max settings and the benchmark is within the margins of errors the fps on low and high settings is between 200-210 I looked on YouTube and i'm supposed to get much higher fps. Things I've tried to fix fps 1: Changing all settings resolutions in diffrent combinations 2: Changing power options in nvidia to performance 3: disabling vsync in nvidia control panel and ingame 4: reinstalling windows 5: reinstalling steam 6: reinstalling cs go on both ssd and hdd 7: deleting cs go's workshop steam maps 8: settings windows power options to performance etc. 9: disabling hpet in both windows and bios that boosted fps just a little bit but didn't fix the consistent fluctuation in fps 10: changing pcie lanes to 3rd gen instead of auto 11: updating bios from p1.50 to p2.50 and it broke my motherboard when I fixed it at a local computer fixing and he unsoldered the bios chip and programmed a new one and soldered it back my 2 sticks of ram wouldn't boot together until i reflashed my bios back to p1.50 which was the original bios that the motherboard came in and both sticks were working again 12: I used to have a 550w psu and put my gpu on 80% power and bought a new one which is 650 and can overclock my gpu to 150% power no problem psi my gpu has normal scores for a gtx 1080 ti on heaven benchmark and in Rainbow six siege I just want consistent fps over 200 fps so I don't notice it when my fps drops even from 350 to 180 I feel it Is it a processor bottleneck even if it was my old gtx 1060 got me consistent 250-300 fps and I never felt lag or stutter If it is a cpu bottleneck should I get a r5 3600 or 9400f or is this not a good upgrade/not worth I don't have any money atm as I used all my money on gpu and psu recently The attached photos shows that my gpu can reach 100% usage in benchmark or other games like r6s and ark survival on medium to max settings. Sorry for my bad english it's my second language

Has anyone been able to set up a 16:10 stretched or a 4:3 stretched resolution with an AMD graphics card? While a lot of tutorials exist, all of them haven't worked for me. Any idea what might be my problem? Edit: What I meant to say was that I'm trying to setup a custom 16:10 resolution. While the native resolutions CSGO supports do work, I am trying to create my own. This has worked for me before, but that was when I had an Nvidia GPU. The same process doesn't seem to work with my current GPU and respective drivers.

I think its not a bad thing for cs go to be going free. Why? having access to more of a player base is a positive thing that will be good in the long run. The attitude towards hacking is just heightened in cs as its become a transcended meme and its an easy and now pretty mute point top make. Valve have made improvements to matchmaking, maybe given not the ones we want but its progressing non less. The new VAC-net seems to be filtering more of the hackers and I've seen less. Now in any competitive system there are ALWAYS going to be hackers that just something thats we have to accept. the best ting that can be done is that you do the overwatch cases and report players. The battle Royal mode is an experiment and the fact that they are even doing something is good and especially since the cs team feels smaller than it once was. If it works great and if it does not, lesson learned. The attitude around the 64/128 tick rate on the servers is eaisly sorted out by going to ESEA or Faceit. I know you will have to pay bu if you want the best experience then you do have to pay. Think of it as buying better quality food. why not get better quality if you can. and if you dont/can't do something to make it possible.(this does not reflect on proper real life, peoples circumstances do change I understand that) My final point is that different is good and people who attack a medium because something is different should really stay a little quieter, if the criticism is positive and will improve the experience thats even better. but going I DONT LIKE IT on reddit or any place like that would be irreverent. Please discuss/argue/flame nicely

Hi, I have been having a problem with my PC for a couple of months, I get these really bad frame drops for about 10-20 seconds and then my game goes back to running fine. I have a gtx 1080ti paired with an AMD fx-8350, I know that CPU is not good to pair with it but i am trying to save up money to upgrade my CPU, motherboard and ram but it costs too much at the moment It never lagged this bad with the CPU, I only got lower frames than most people with a 1080ti but now in most games i just get this really unplayable lag and i want to know if there is something I can do to fix it. Because it will be a few months before I can even think of upgrading Here is an example of the lag and how it goes back to normal afterwards Usually it isn't this bad, I would get about 20-40 frames most times. But this is it at an extreme level, (Note, Was on Fortnite with only one other player) But happens in every game I play Computer Specs MOBO: MSI Gaming 990FXA-GAMING CPU: AMD FX(tm)-8350 Eight-Core Processor. Hello, So recently I’ve been having some problems with csgo lately. I’ve been getting on average 100fps with the lowest settings on 1440p, the lows being 60s and highs 140s. I have a Ryzen 5 1600 at 3.8ghz and a MSI gtx 1070. I’ve been getting on average 175fps when I first played on this build, but I don’t know what happened. Is anyone with a similar build getting these frames? Any tips to improve it? Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm trying to fix a problem that I've been experiencing lately, while deathmatching (up to 20 people shooting at once). I get stutters as soon as someone starts firing and it's especially bad when I am facing that person. I know it's audio related because it happens when I perform an action, such as shooting or switching weapons, while there are a lot of sounds around me. And CS:GO have had problems the last year or 2 with audio updates. I have tried: Putting commands such as snd_mixahead "0.8" (0.05 makes it worse and I really don't notice a difference with 0.1) snd_mix_async 1 into my autoexec file (as well as executing them in-game) and snd_updateaudiocache followed by snd_rebuildaudiocache. Also reinstalling Realtek drivers. n0thing seems to work. This is only a problem in dm though, but a big one as I spend almost half my time there. Headset: Sennheiser Game (closed).

Okay so I constantly wonder who else thinks these blue sand barrels look like bad capacitors? Ever since they got added when Counter Strike: Global Offensive got the new Dust II update I always laugh when I pass by them "Seems like Valve has a faulty motherboard" "They should get the caps checked" "With that much money, can't they afford better caps";friends and I laugh at this quite a bit So .. anyone else seeing the resemblance here .. if I just ruined your perception of Dust II and make you giggle every time you go up on Short .. thank me later! Seems only appropriate to put this in off-topic, since .. well it is probably as off-topic as it's gonna get

Hi I have a request. I'm considering switching to Ryzen 7 from my 7700k to get more of those sweet cores and threads, however I still spend alot of time playing csgo... I know my current cpu is a beast at csgo compared to the previous ryzen processesors, but so far the reviews have showed a pretty preformance boost in csgo on the new 2xxx series. So here is my request: Can someone run the csgo benchmark on a 2700X and tell me the results? Or just guide me to somewhere, where I can see it? Thank you!
