Budget (including currency): 25.000-30.000SEK (Around 2200-2600 Euro) Country: Sweden Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Playing Tibia 90% of the time, Start playing some Elden Ring and DS3 PvP again, perhaps try out some new AAA-games. Otherwise just casual surfing/youtube. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I got a ssd that I will take from my laptop 1000GB samsung pro 980. Currently on a gaming laptop with a 1060ti 3GB-Vram. Managed to play through Elden Ring on lowest settings, loads of frame drops and general low tier experience so looking to upgrade. I put this build together with Blackfriday offers on a swedish website Inet.se ( https://www.inet.se/kundvagn/visa/S4cfASYrKqKEQCpFpyrVWfUKGXM/grumpysblackfriday ) Aiming for 1440p 27" - The SAMSUNG ODYSSEY G5 S27CG510 27" QHD is on sale for 3200sek from: ( https://www.power.se/datorer/bildskarmar-och-monitorer/bildskarmar/samsung-odyssey-g5-s27cg510-27-qhd-gamingskarm/p-2574192/#specs ) Think I am missing a cooler for the CPU and case fans, a bit uncertain about the Odyssy G5 because there is so many different versions with slightly different names out there, but I like the design. Would love recommendations on cooler and fans or adjustments to the build! Adjustments that would make the build less power hungry when just watching youtube or playing less demanding games are also appreciated. Going a bit over the budget is ok but would like the keep the screen at around max 6000sek. (Currently have a Samsung SyncMaster SA950 27" 1080p 125hz that is 10+ years old but still works for 2nd screen) Thank you, G

I'm gonna build in an itx case but I don't know if something like the Noctua NH-L9a would be enough to cool it since I might not have a not room for a bigger one.

I need help. I got these 2 ms freeze a305 argb coolers with 3 pin connectors because my pc came with one inside. Now that I check even though they seem identically the same somehow their connectors arent the same because I have this like a argb connector on the other side of my pc and it is fine for the fan that came with the pc but with the new ones I bought it just doesnt match. How can I now connect these 2 fans to my pc and have them work fine with rgb. My motherboard is H510M-K. I don’t have any place on motherboard to connect them and I even checked like argb hubs on my local market and only found these 2 named MS Impero p700 and p500 but I am not sure if I can connect them to ny motherboard. Here are all the pictures.

Any good coolers that can be found relatively easily for this old socket? I'm using a C2Q q6600 G0 stepping oced at 3.0Ghz using the BSEL mod if that helps.

(The image is my actual case). I just bought a new PC case and the generic coolers are in an intermittent rainbow ugly mode, I just want them to be of one specific color without fancy animations. I'm not understanding what should I do. I can change LED strip mode, but can't change coolers mode. I have an ASUS Prime A320M-K motherboard (without RGB headers) and RM550x Corsair PSU with molex of 4 pins like the image. I think Ill need to buy something right? What? (an amazon/ebay link would be ideal) Every cooler have a male 4 pin molex which are connected to PSU. Besides that, one of the cooler has a male 2 pin cable where it can be plugged to a VDG or a Reset button female cable. There is not other cable coming from the coolers.

Hi everyone, quick question, do you think that it´s possible to buy a couple of fans for this cooler master v8 gts v2? first they look like they are asimatrical so i cant switch places between them, the front one is about to die, also a regular square one wont fit due to the mounting mechanism and the squareness will collide with the heatpipes on the bottom, i thought that maybe i could reshape a square fan with my angle grinder but im not sure it will fit, if i go full getto on this one, i could strap some zipties but at the cost of damaging the fins or even brake some, im looking into switch to water cooling just for fun and this could be an excuse but im not happy to throw a nice functional cooler. I´m using the v8 on my 7700k socket 1151 btw.

Budget (including currency): 100€ ig, but if you think I should spend more then tell me and show me the best options please Country: France/Germany Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Autodesk Inventor, Blender, OBS Studio (streaming and recording), DaVinci Resolve, Star Citizen, Fallout 4 with mods, VRChat, Beat Saber with mods, Satisfactory with mods, Minecraft with mods, Forza Horizon 5, Asseto Corsa with mods, GTA V with mods and actually many many more games and many with mods. I would probably use the integrated graphics before getting an RTX3080. If I would buy an i5-12600K, what would be the cheapest, good quality coolers to keep it cool enough, so it doesn't throttle down and I can use its full potential? (And maybe separately the same, but if I also overclock it a bit) My ATX case supports coolers up to 162mm. I will probably use DDR4 Kingston Fury Beast RAM sticks, if the cooler you have in mind might get stuck on them. Because I really don't know what to get, except that it's probably going to be noctua.

Summary Frore Systems, along with Intel and Qualcomm, has announced "AirJet", a cooling device that uses ultrasonic waves to create air currents without using any fans or other moving parts. This "solid-state thermal solution" is apparently capable of outperforming conventional fans while being smaller, more efficient, and nearly silent. Frore is expecting to start shipping units in Q1 of next year. Quotes My thoughts While it does look promising and has gotten support from big names, this is still coming from an (as far as I can tell) unproven startup. So I have a 7700k, the cooler though has always given me issues. Its not becuase its old. Since day one I have had really weird overheat blue screens when im watching Netflix or something low demand, gaming and stress tests are fine, I have changed the thermal paste, Im pretty sure theres no air in my pump. Idle it runs at 40-45 water temp, sometimes 50 after gaming, higher during, with about 23 degree ambient. Its been happening for so long, but very rarely and I'm just fed up with crashes now. Any reccomendations as to what it may be? It came with SP fans, i bought the fancy new (at the time) mag levs, that didnt do it. I'm down to get a new air cooler, because I have never been impressed with this h115.

Hello. I just bought a case with 3 fans and I installed the old components in it and I don't know what happened, but some apps show that the CPU is running so hot, at ~100*C, and the cpu cooler is spinning very fast. Is this a glitch or it's something bad? I just opened the PC like 10 minutes ago and all the apps that I've opened are uTorrent and Chrome. The CPU is an intel core i7 4790, not any OC on it. - It's not loaded on 100% so I don't it should run that hot - Open Hardware Monitor - Core Temp - CPUID HWmonitor video-1588672521.mp4 - the cooler spins really fast So, could this be just a glitch or is my CPU really running very hot? Btw, I haven't applied thermal conducting paste for a while on my cpu, could that be the problem?

Hi, I'm writing an essay for school and my subject is How different types of CPU coolers compare to eachother in performance and efficiency. I was wondering if you guys know any good articles or forum posts that surround that topic. Already have some including all wikipedia pages. Looking forward to responses

Another hour, another Ryzen thing hitting the interwebs. Sauce: https://videocardz.com/66163/amd-ryzen-7-1800x-1700x-1700-wraith-max-and-spire-coolers-confirmed Pics of the cooler: The Wraith Max is a Wraith-style cooler but with a different look and RGB (it's 2017 of course). The Wraith Spire seems a new addition to the stock cooler lineup resembling an Intel stock cooler, but taller and with a bigger fan (that has a shroud to direct airflow down instead of all over the place) and of course also with RGB. This semi-confirms that even the X models will come with a stock cooler that has a maximum TDP of 140W. If XFR is to be the one thing that differs X models with non-X models, I'd imagine AMD made sure that with a stock cooler XFR would work just fine (maybe not as far as a custom air/liquid cooler but still). Now it's just waiting to see what coolers we're getting with the 6- and 4-core models.

Now before you guys say anything, I have a list from online of the available heatsinks and AIO for the Ryzen AM4 platform. My main question is, because I saw it on another tech site, that the previous AM3+ stock socket design coolers are compatible with AM4 sockets without removing the sides where you would normally clamp it on. Does anyone have any information on whether or not it's been confirmed that stock design coolers will work on AM4? Apparently, AM3+ and AM4 is the same size socket and has the same specification on the mounting. The only thing that is difference are the screw placements. Thanks guys! PS... Already preordered and I can't wait!

i have sevral GPUs around that i could nic the coolers of, they will probably become powerboards and sent to Buildzoid or something so i have a bunch of coolers around, but i dont know if i could strap them to an RX 470/RX 570 or a GTX 1050TI, so if anyone has one or just straight up knows the distance between the holes that would be great would help me quite a bit when looking for cards for the Toaster Project if i could strap one on there

Hey all, So I think i have my final super high-end editing/gaming PC done, but I'm not very well versed in cases, cooling, and mobos. I'd greatly appreciate it if you all could look at my build thusfar and recommend some good cases, coolers(liquid or air), and a good mobo. Not TRYING to go over $2200, but if it can't be helped with this level of a build, tell me so. Thanks guys. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/97hmsJ edit: *may go with 1800X instead of 1700X, or even coffeelake- i'd love thoughts on this

so i recently saw one of these things in a site of a local vendor and i have not used one or seen one personally to see what use they have in real life. isnt the controlling of fan speed done by the motherboard? you can even set the speed using software right? so why would a person invest on one of these fan controllers? these things are available at various prices too. u can find one on ebay for low as $8 and prices can go upto around $70 or even more! are these things really worth it or are they just there for show? what do u think

I am installing a modern non screw intel stock cooler on a lga 1156 motherboard and it is not fitting. The motherboard it through hole but the cooler has some sort of pin thingy and they don’t fit together, the cooler says compatibility with my socket

Had an idea for a cooler. A heat pipe can be flat, which is just a vapor chamber essentially. So what would be the problems with creating a metal cast of a cpu cooler that is almost entirely hollow. With heat pipes running up the center region, with flat hollow heat spreaders instead of heatsink fins.

So I'm doing a budget build for a friend and I'm stuck deciding what CPU to get. I'm not sure if I should get the FX-8320 with a Hyper 212 Evo or the FX-8350 with the included wraith cooler, they both cost around the same. What I'm looking for at is good cooling performance that doesn't involve it sounding like a jet engine, over performance (what would perform better, including if I overclock the 8320 to 4Ghz, keeping thermals in mind), and potential overclocking ability past 4Ghz.

Hey guys, I was wondering where can I get cheap like dirt cheap stock intel coolers for the lga 115X family in vancouver? I threw mine out cause never thought i needed them. You think i could even get them for free somehow? Cheers

Can anyone compare Chiptronex Diffuser X500 vs Snowman M-T6 vs Alseye DR-90 One of the members in the forum informed me that the Snowman M-T6 is as good as the Arctic Freezer 33 So can the Diffuser X500 or the DR-90 can produce better results than the M-T6? Unable to find good comparison reviews for these coolers on youtube. 1.Chiptronex Diffuser X500 (It says 5 heatpipe but 2 of them are half pipes and 3 of them are full pipes) https://www.amazon.in/CHIPTRONEX-Diffuser-X500-RGB-Cooler/dp/B07D2F4QYX 2.Snowman M-T6 (The link is for the RGBb version the fans lok a bit smaller and the blades look different hope it performs the same as non-RGB model) https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000191184139.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.3fc14b5dAp4HmI&algo_pvid=df644752-d0bd-4463-b3b2-1dc01dbc2117&algo_expid=df644752-d0bd-4463-b3b2-1dc01dbc2117-1&btsid=1ecbcd97-3502-4a2f-af75-3f0bcd3b60a8&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_3,searchweb201603_55 3.Alseye DR-90/Lanshuo (The link is for Lanshuo but i think the Alseye and Lanshuo will perform the same) https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32974493459.html?spm=a2g0o.cart.0.0.12193c00cJkCn1&mp=1

Will that work out or should I get something else? Please do leave suggestions but make sure that they aren't over 158 mm as that's the max my case supports. Cheers!
