I was looking into Clear OS but there is not a lot of content about others using this OS and i wanna ask what some of you think about it? Do you think it's better than most of other OSs? Would Clear OS be good for general use or it is targeted for specific kind of end users? I also wanna learn Linux more in depth and have a better job/career option in IT. So far I only heard good things about that OS. I am near entering my 20' and wanna learn as much as i can so i can get a better paid job, then i will go my own route, but I need a good/solid start for that. Any advice would be much appreciated <3!

Hi, up until yesterday I was perfectly fine with my system (listed below) doing stuff as always. While I was playing a game system just shut down completely no sign of life even on/off button led on mobo (which stays lit while the system is turned off) was gone. I tried to restart nothing happened. I did some googling and tried stuff like unplugging psu and all the cables from the mobo, clearing cmos, taking off the cmos battery, waiting for a while and such but no result. After all these, I am stuck in a state that just clear cmos button blinking nothing else. As a last resort, I tried q flash plus thing. I took off everything from the mobo all the cables, cpu, gpu, ram, ssd, etc. Just plugged the 24pin and 8pin power cable and plugged a USB on the white USB port on rear IO (as instructed in manual with the right file name and USB format etc. btw I downloaded the latest bios version which is currently F30). When I turned the power on, the same thing just blinking clear cmos button and q flash plus button also does not do anything. It would be perfect if someone can helped in desperation right now. 1kVA online UPS x570 Aorus Master (at bios version F11 at the time of failure) Ryzen 3950x Nvidia Quadro 4000 ( yes I do play games on quadro) G.skill 64GB 3600MHz Corsair h150i Corsair hx850i Corsair fans 4x120mm Samsung Evo 970

Today I had to install nvidia drivers, so I did a clean install since i only have around 2 gb left on my C:Drive. When I did that, it did the regular restart then nothing. I spent around 20 minutes trying to install drivers but to no avail. As of this point the only way I will be able to do anything is to fully clear my drive except for windows. I have an external harddrive that has all my games on it, but if i clear my drive, I dont want to have to reinstall everything as I have around 1TB of games from both steam and Microsoft store. I pretty much just want to remove documents and files but thats it, is there a way to do this? In conclusion I cant install Nvidia drivers (i'm running on no drivers)as something is wrong and I have no space and cant find anything to clear.

Corsair 400c (black) Review Disclosure – This is my first written review of any product, I usually don’t do reviews but I noticed that there aren’t a ton of reviews on this case so that’s why I’m going to do one here, whether any one uses it or not doesn’t matter, I just hope I can answer a few peoples questions. I am going to try to keep this review short though, so enjoy My specs (for comparison) - MSI z170 a – pro - Sapphire 290x tri – x - 16gb of ddr4 patriot 2400mhz - 1tb WD Blue / Sandisk 240gb ssd - Hyper 212 evo - Raidmax Blackstone 700w (I know) Let’s start with a simple pros and cons list PROS – - The aesthetic, though this may be a personal thing I LOVE smaller sized cases, and the fact that this one could easily hold my tri – x 290x was amazing, my buddy even managed to fit 2 390x’s in there. The side panel as well just makes it super slick and nice looking. - Cable management is fantastic I would say there are more pros then cons here but there is one thing that did bug me that I will mention in cons, and this could be a deal breaker for some unless you can get around it. - Price is great, Some might say that 100 bucks for a case isn’t good deal but you are get a whole lotta case in such a small package, I would say its defiantly worth it (especially if you can pick it up for 70 bucks like I did) - The expansion ability in this case is great, It can fit a pretty beefy water cooler in there, and you can actually adjust the placement of the power supply shroud to give you more room for a RAD in the front of the case (or maybe just an extra fan) - The PSU shroud is great, although my PSU is semi mod and that helped a lot in this build, I feel you could do just fine with a non-modular power supply as the hard drive shroud can be adjusted to fit more cabling into the shroud, plus it has a little convenient cutout in the shroud to run some cables through - Overall, a nice case, but it has some quirks that could be easily fixed…. CONS – - The issue I mentioned in the PROs that could be a deal breaker is this, when I was cable managing I realized that I could not zip tie the cables properly to the back without removing the 3 ssd bays on the back, it was super inconvenient but I realized that it wasn’t an issue for me because I just threw the ssd into the hard drive cage, but I could see how this could a pretty big issue for some, if your creative you can probably get around it but its would’ve been a lot easier to move it to the side. - Another small quirk was 50 percent my fault and 50 percent the cases fault, after putting almost the entire computer together it was time to put the front panel connecters on, and there ate 3 little holes under the motherboard that can be used to route cables from the back, but to my amazement none of the cables would fit, if there were even a mm bigger I would have been able to fit the HD audio cable and hid it, but after spending 2 hours building I was not ready to take it all apart just for one cable. So I ended up routing it through the PSU shroud and it doesn’t look all that great, but again half of that was my own fault - Another small con for the case is the fact that it SCREAMS for any type of LED, I didn’t realize that the side panel was a Smokey window not a clear one, but installing an RGB strip fixed all that and I was planning to do that at some point anyway. In-between – There are a couple of things about this case that are neither good nor bad, just some things to note. - One of those things is the fact that the way the airflow is pushed through this case is through the bottom, which can be an issue for people who keep it on their desk, but I had it there for a week and I didn’t run into any issues but I ended up moving it to a separate desk anyway - The USBs are upward facing and there are only 2 of them which is fine for me but can be an issue for some Building tips – - Make sure you plan a little ahead with this case and that everything fits correctly, I didn’t and ran into a few issues - Don’t take off the plastic covering the side panel until you finish, not only is it a nice thing to do once it’s all done but even if you take it off it attracts finger prints pretty easily (like all side panels) - I would recommend a magnetic screwdriver If you have a large CPU cooler, makes life easier (I didn’t use one though) Conclusion – - In conclusion, I thoroughly recommend this case, especially if you prefer a smaller footprint, if you plan ahead you wouldn’t really run into any of the issues I did. I prefer this case over the 400c but the s340 is a strong competitor. If you are a fan of corsair, I definitely recommend this. And if you prefer a larger case there is the 600c for around 150$. I hope that this helped someone out and if you have any questions you can PM me. See ya P.S - a couple pics of my build, excuse the desk cable management, will fix it some day http://imgur.com/a/NPUjr

So basically in short, my dad and I were upgrading/renovating an old server of his. It is a dual CPU motherboard and we had bought 2 Xeon E5640's for it on ebay. When I installed everything, turned it on and plugged in the VGA cable from the pc into my monitor there was no signal, but the fans started spinning (Turns out these CPUs don't have built-in graphics, which was very stupid of me to not know). I did some research and came across someone who said you had to clear the CMOS by pulling out the silver coin-like battery on the motherboard and reinstalling it 10 minutes later. I unplugged the PSU and then pulled out the battery and reinstalled it 10 min later. However when i reinstalled it and turned on the pc, the fans didn't spin at all (one green light on the motherboard did light up though). I still can't get it to work. Does someone know what is wrong?? CPU: Xeon E5640 MOBO: Asus Z8NA-D6C RAM :6x 4gb sticks If I missed something please tell me

Hey guys, since my last build was over a year ago, I decided to start a new project. I bought a used pc from eBay for a small home server. It cost me about 100 Euros. Now I will try some kind of a budget, sick looking, modded Pc build :-)

I'm looking for recommendations on a Cherry MX Clear TKL Keyboard for under $100. I've heard they're rare switches to find. If I can't find anything with the clear switches I was looking at the CM Quickfire Rapid with brown switches instead. Possibly even put some O-ring dampeners on as well. Thoughts? Recommendations? Thank you.

Well, I'm strugglin' with making a decision about what color would be better for an RGB build: Corsair Carbide Clear 400C BLACK vs. WHITE. I'm planning to buy all RGB motherboard, graphics card, LED strips, though I'm not 100% sure about fans and RAM, maybe those two parts will remain non-RGB ... Vote & comment your thoughts/reasons!

I was looking to buy an i5 3690 froom someone but they said "Just from being old, the cpu cache is filled so it needs to be cleared to get the normal clock time on it. It takes like 5 minutes I just never got around to it" I have never heard of that ever being an issue with a cpu and am wondering if it seems reasonable and if so, how do "I clear the cache"?

Hey guys, I hope that you can assist me in this issue that I’ve been having with the Mayhems UV Sky Clear Blue. Problem being that the dye fades within a half an hour, and dulls completely within a day. (Difference is shown in the attached photos). Thanks! (Side note- I know that the pump is far enough from the LED that the reaction isn’t easy to see there... but that doesn’t explain the fluid in the pipes not reacting.)

Hi! Got an interesting issue here. Did a clean install of windows 10 a week or two back, works like a charm, besides one small thing. Recent stuff doesn't save, or it does save, just that it's cleared on the next boot up. It's come in very handy to quickly have a folder to the left in explorer that you're often visiting, right clicking on photoshop to see your latest used files and have "notepad" still in the Run box after a restart of the computer. However, after this latest installation, this doesn't work as intended. It all saves during the session I use the computer. If I then shut down the PC and restart it, IMMEDIATELY after restart it's still there, everything, but after around 10 seconds it's gone, why?! I have checked in "settings", they're on, I've checked in the regedit, it's "1", meaning that it's on, I've also looked at the group policies for "user", the were not set or something, so I "disabled" "clear on exit" and stuff, but nothing made it any different. I'd be incredibly happy if anyone could help me out here, why it cleans after the pc's boots up

tubing Any reviews on Mayhems Ultra Clear tubing?
Gill posted a topic in Custom Loop and Exotic Cooling
Hi all, Did anyone try Mayhems Ultra Clear Tubing? I tried twice using PrimoChill Primoflex Advance LRT and it both cases this tube is leaching when hitting ~43c water temps. The Mayhems doesn't suppose to leach but I didn't read reviews on it. I wonder if anyone here tried. -
Hi, So I'm looking for a pair of headphones (never owned headphones neither earphones in the past) I know I'm gonna prefer open-back, over-ear headphones with a lot of bass. (I like bass) But I don't want headphones that sound like *vomit* Beats *vomit*. I looked into the Audio-Technica ATH-M50x's but they are closed back (which isn't bad, just prefer open) and they have a "flat" sound signature with limited bass according to most people. I've also looked at the Beyerdynamic DT 990 Premium 250 Ohm headphones but heard that they need a powerful amp (using onboard ASUS crystal sound) and that the treble might be "ear-piercing" and "shrilly" for some people. I'm going to use these headphones for basically everything from watching videos, listening to music, playing games (Battlefield, Witcher 3 etc...) and whatever. Headphones that require separate amps are welcome to suggestion, I'll most likely get the Schiit Vali 2 amp if I have to get an amp. Basically I want headphones that are: Over-Ear Preferably Open Back (closed is fine) Comfortable Wired (NOT wireless) Have good bass + mids and treble (but not too loud treble) Good quality Not "gaeming" branded with "EXTRA 99999.9 SURROUND OMG BUY NOW !11!!1!11!!!" Under $250 Thanks for any help!

I'm putting together an enthusiast grade system with 8 dimms using corsair dominator platinum. (X99, 2011v3) The system will be liquid cooled but I need an air cooler to test everything outside of the case before starting the build. Does anyone know of an air cooler I can use just for a quick test that will fit this socket and also clear the RAM?

I'm wondering if anyone knows of any pre made, not homemade, clear or mostly clear pc cases. Mid ATX size would be ideal. I'd like a clear one but white will suffice if needed. Thanks

The famous Das Keyboard 4 Ultimate is available on Massdrop exclusively with Cherry MX Clear switches, in full size and tenkeyless varieties. https://www.massdrop.com/buy/das-keyboard-cherry-mx-clears-massdrop-exclusive FYI: Clear switches are basically a slightly heavier version of Browns with the same non-clicky tactile bump, more details on Cherry MX switch types here. btw, my reaction:

Example: i have a checkbox is checked it say's needs: this but when i uncheck it the label wouldn't clear text inside the label so this stays in the label. Hey guys. So I used ClearType Text to try to make my text look better. After about 10-20 mins of playing around with all the combinations and results you may end up with, I found the best one. Even after that it still does not look 100%. Some websites look better than others. My text in-game is fine, its just, when I go into my folder, browser, etc. you can see that some letters have that pinkish line sometimes. I'm sure you guys know what I am referring too.

Hey forum world I'm looking for a keyboard for under $200 if possible (not a deal-breaker if it is more) that uses cherry mx white switches. I don't want clears as I like the 'soft click' of the whites. I also don't want a tenkeyless board. Back-lighting (rgb if possible) and media controls would also be nice. Any suggestions? By the way I am in Australia so I need for it to be there or able to ship here.
