They have done a lot of heavy Facebook advertising over the past year for events in near by cities. I am interested to find out what I can expect to find there and what scale of event they put on. Reviews online are horrendous.

hey this is my first post to the forums i've never felt the need to post before but i thought i would see what outcome i would get. I'm looking to build my own pc (i've done it before for other people) and I'm looking to use it for multiple thing such as gaming, music production**,editing and general use. **I'm perfectly fine with the music production aspect as everything i use is external so you may as well ignore it :3 im looking to spend around £800, living in the uk so British website links would be appreciated but not a massive hassle. games i'd like to run would be from moba's to triple A titles and i am a fan of high graphic quality and high frame rate. if you believe £800 isn't enough for whatI'm looking for please do let me know as i can upgrade in the future. i have no preference on amd or intel and the style of the case doesn't bother me so much as long as its smart and sophisticated. greatly appreciated

So I was playing a cheeky wee bit of Minecraft today and I was thinking, it's getting to that time again, my keyboard is just about getting to its 10th birthday and clunky and ugly as hell, so I though 'hey!' Keyboards are pretty nice nowadays so why not pick one up. However my wallets is bracing itself for the pain of my new build so to prevent it from just spluttering up and dying, what is the cheapest, backlit mechanical keyboard I can pick up in Britain. Hey so I was looking about and it sounds like its a pretty darn good idea to pick up an SSD, even if it's just for storing your OS (mine would be windows 7/8 64bit). My build was built on a budget of £450 which I then pushed back to £550 which I am again £20 over so what is the cheapest possible SSD I can get in the UK and would it be worth checking eBay? Hey this is my plan and I am very close to buying my parts - VERY close. All I'm trying to do now is shave a few quid off the build and try to squeeze the most FPS, for games, out of my options. Mainly I'm looking at the power supply and wether I'll need a 500 or 600 watt supply and wether I can pick up a £40 one rather than a £60 one - I don't like the calculators to much as the results fluctuate too much between different calculators. I am also looking to shave a bit of my cooling, mainly the CPU cooling as I'm not sure wether I need to blow £25 on it. I have decided to go with the AMD FX 8320 over the 8350 and just over clock it up to 4.0Ghz and have added in an optical drive and sad reader to my build however my case... Is... well it doesn't exist on PC part picker which is very annoying as it means I can't make one (also nor is my RAM for some reason!?) so can anyone help me out with picking out a nice ATX Case around £20 (+/- £2-3) that has good cooling and maybe while your at it find a better CPU cooler at a price range of maybe £15-20? I also worked out what power supply to go with. cheers for the help.

Game on..UK Gfinity last week announced that in 2015 it will host 30 offline events between March and September culminating in the Gfinity Championship 2015 , The event will be placed in an warena that could fit 500 people in it.. Gfinity is a league organiser for multiplayer games such as CSGO and Starcraft II on a Worldwide level, in the upcoming London event there will be over $500k in prize money available throughout the season The new eSports Arena will be the first ever in the UK and provide competitions on a regular basis. There’s only two other major global providers of eSports: MLG in the US and ESL in Germany.. the company says it hasn't decided whether to build a new facility or retrofit an existing one just yet. Once it's completed, it'll play host to 30 tournaments between March and September next year, covering competitive games such as Halo and Call of Duty before its end of season "Gfinity Championship Final." Without further ado here is all the stuff (I think) you'll need Budget: my budget is £200 - £300 Where do you live (what country): I live in Britain and use the pound -Is there a retailer you prefer: No Do you need or already have peripherals? Yes (mouse, keyboard, monitor) What will you be using your future computer for? I would be using my PC to animate (2d and 3d), 3D rendering and design, video editing, and of course, gaming. Do you overclock or want to get into overclocking? I have no idea how but if it improves performance, I would be willing to learn Do you plan on going for custom watercooling now, or in the future? Not really OS. Do you need a new one? No, I have Windows 7 and I like it If you Game- What kind of settings do you like or what FPS do you want to play at? Ideally as high as I can but not much below 30FPS What resolution will you be playing at? //or would like to play at. Ideally 1080p but that's ideally, I would be happy to go for 720p What kind of games do you like to play? Whatever looks good (gmod, TF2 and yes, my guilty pleasure, Minecraft) What specific game will you be playing? probably any of the above If you Render or Edit things- What application do you use to render? To my surprise, the ModMic incurs quite a hefty customs charge from the Royal Mail (couldn't say the same for ParcelForce) of (for me) £12.21. So if you plan on buying a ModMic and shipping it to the U.K., remember to add this customs charge to the price when considering the purchase! What should've been £31.14 ended up costing me £43.35, can't bloody stand mail services in the U.K. sometimes... For those interested: Apparently if you ship something internationally, and the cost is too low to incur 'appropriate' VAT charges through the border, Royal Mail will slap on an additional charge (of whatever they want, as legally allowed) in order to get the package to you. Then they add on the cost of delivery since the money you pay to Antlion for S+H actually only goes to USPS. I think this is something that Antlion should make clear on their website, since I wasn't aware that there were going to be such charges when I made the payment a few weeks ago.
