  1. This one has me stumped. I have an old lenovo computer with an OEM AMD R9 260. The graphics switched to the IGPU a long time ago, as a kid I took it in to a shop but they didn't do anything with it, and I got it back months later. Long story. Anyhow, after that I got into computers and have since built my own PCs. Recently I cleaned out my old computer with the R9 260 in it, noticed it had dedicated graphics in it, and wondered why it wasn't working. Under drivers the GPU had the windows error code 31. I figured no problem, I'll just install the AMD auto driver updater. Soon after, the entire device blue screened. The auto repair failed, and the device turns on but no graphics will register & the monitor will remain black. I'm officially stumped, does anyone have any suggestions on how to repair it. Would love to still be able to use it for nostalgia purposes & since it was a gift from my recently deceased grandmother, but I think it might be salvage at this point. I have not tried a windows repair usb yet or tried putting in another graphics card.
  2. So I was watching netflix, I already had valorant running and ran Fortnite. However, a few seconds later, a transparent blue screen occured which led to a restart 15 seconds later, though after I feel like there's a bit of a performance decrease in fps games, is there a tool I can check to see if something is damaged? These are my specs: GPU: 4070 CPU: 7800x3D Ram: Gskill flare x5 6000mhz cl30 Arctic Cooler 240mm' Fractal Design North Msi b650 tomohawk wifi motherboard Corsair rm750e power supply
  3. I have had an issue with programs/games/ and my entire PC crashing (blue screen). I tried reinstalling OS on my NVMe SSD and still had issues. I am a Best Buy Total Tech member, so I had them run diagnostics on it for a week and they said they couldn't get the OS to install on it. They said that they believe that the NVMe SSD is bad. I sent the NVMe SSD to Samsung under warranty, and they repaired it. I got it back, installed it and got the OS installed. Having the exact issues happen again. I have a picture of what the "Blue Screen" looks like here. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. 4. So about a month ago my pc started crashing now and then when under load and was under performing. I opened it up and re built it from scratch, key point being that I had to replace the thermal paste because it looked like it was not cooling properly and was significantly darker than new paste. This fixed the crashing for a few days then it started crashing every time I launched a game that was taxing. I replaced the thermal paste with new thermal paste that wasn't opened before and this worked again for about a day and now my pc is crashing again. A few other problems are that I have had issues connecting my controller to my pc via bluetooth while it says unknown device every time. I also wiped all the files off the pc and re installed windows recently because I would consistently find corrupted files when scanning my pc. This didn't solve anything.
  5. Hey everyone, first of all thanks for opening this message so soon before Christmas! I know im new on the forum so i hope i did everything right. 2 days ago my pc (specs below) worked fine, but as i tried to start up yesterday my pc went straight to the bluescreen as in the pictures, with error code: 0xc00000e9. It wont let me boot to windows 11 in any way shape and form. I tried restarting, i unplugged all I/O, i unplugged all hard drives except my windows drive and nothing so far has helped. Then i made a windows reinstall drive on my laptop using Rufus. First with a bit of problem since I'm running windows 11 and had me use MBR partition type. When i try to use the startup repair tool from the window iso it says that it cant find any problems to solve (see picture) After that i wanted to go ahead and reainstal windows from the usb. That also comes back up with a: Cant install windows on inserted media. (Again see picture) it says upgrade option isn't available. As last resort i had a old Linux Mint bootable laying around, plugged that in to see if i can find the file its referring to. The Winload.efi is there to be accessed in the right folder (see the last picture). So as it seems its that the restore tool says there's nothing to fix, the install tool says it cant install and i have no clue what to do now. Pc specs: Cpu: Ryzen 5 2600x Motherboard: X470 Aorus ultra gaming on bios F62d GPU: Gigabyte rtx 2070 RAM:2x 8gb and 2x 16gb, running 2147mhz all Corsair. SSD: Samsung 970 Evo plus 1tb (about 2 years old) PSU: Corsair CX750 Connected I/O: Razer Ornata keyboard & Logitech G604 mouse. I hope someone can come up with something i can try. Else its gonna be a fairly annoying Christmas holiday.
  6. Hey folks, I have hit a wall, and can't seem to find a solution. I'm experiencing game/system crashing when opening or loading games. What I mean by this is, loading the game might crash it or my system, or when I'm in game loading a new map or back to a lobby. It does not happen when I'm ''in game, playing'' Example: Ready or Not: Opening the game 50/50 game crash. In the lobby before starting map no issue When I start and load the map: 50/50 game/system crash The Finals: Opening the game 50/50 game crash In the lobby no issue When I connect in to a map or back to lobby after a match 50/50 game/system crash. Darktide: Opening the game no issue. In the lobby no issue. connection to a game 50/50 game crash All of this started happening 4 days ago. I changed most of my setup 6 weeks ago. I did not experience this with my old setup and only with the new since 4 days ago. Current setup: MB: ASUS PRIME Z790-P (V2) CPU: i9 14900K GPU: 4070 Gigabyte RAM: 2x16 GB Vengeance DDR5-6000 PSU: Corsair HX 1000 Storage: 3x m.2 ( Samsung: 1xEVO 960, 1x970 EVO, 980 Pro ) OS: Win10 Bluescreen error messages: FLTMGR.sys and WATCHDOG. Game crash error messages: Not enough V-ram. Troubleshooting steps I have done: - Updated Win 10 - Updated GPU driver - Updated MB drivers - Stress test (Furmark / Heaven) No issue - Monitored temperatures doing games and stress test, no issue - Tested SSD's: Games on different SSD's and fresh install of windows on another SSD All SSD's are updated and tested in SAMSUNG MAGICAN no errors or issues - All SSD's shows status: Good. - Moved RAM and tried single and dual channel. - I have set RAM to both 5400 and 6000, same issue. - Underclocked and overclocked GPU same issue - Reinserted GPU - chkdsk /s /r no errors - Windows Memory Diagnostic ( Event viewer showed no errors in the system files ) The error messages from bluescreen indicate something with files or where why are installed, I hoped fresh install of windows and isolating the games on different SSD's would pin-point the issue, but no luck, same error message all around. The error messages regarding v-ram or video, seems odd given that I'm running a 4070. I know its not the strongest of bois but should not be an issue with the games that I play. The same issue occurs when lowering graphics settings in game. Please let me know if you have any suggestions! I'm at a loss. All the best, KakaoSnask
  7. I built a new PC about a year ago. It has been working well up until about a month ago when I upgraded my graphics card. Now, games crash often, it blue screens, it lags, etc. nothing changed except the graphics card. I did realize that the UPS I had it plugged into wasn’t providing enough power, but that has not fixed all the issues. SPECS: Motherboard- ASUSU Z690-e wifi RAM- G-Skill Trident Z 6000 64gb XMP CPU- Intel 13700KF overclocked to 5.8ghz SSD- Samsung Pro 1tb M.2 PCIe GPU- EVGA 3090 FTW3 PS- Corsair RM1000 does anyone know things I should check? I reinstalled windows, reset my overclocks, new thermal paste, reseated RAM and GPU, and ran the windows integrity violation check from command prompt. All drivers and windows are up to date. Stress tests seem to work fine. Cinebench scores are normal. Only bluescreens when I try to do something like turn memory integrity on/off for example (bluescreened twice and finally got it to work on the third try). Computer also likes to randomly restart with no warning when games crash.
  8. hey there i have a b450m-hdv r4 mother board with a ryzen 5 5600x and a rx570 4gb from gigabyte i bought a m.2 snv2s/1000g from kingston and whenever i put it in the mother board it keeps giving BSOD(inaccessible boot device) i put every part on pc part picker and it was compatible so what is the problem?
  9. So I'm running the reference AMD 6800 XT with a r7 5800x. When i play on large custom game maps, after just a few mins in the game my pc will bluescreen. it only crashes on large maps. When i go to event viewer i see 2 repeating errors that state that RyzenMasterDriverv22 has failed to launch because the directory is incorrect. but i don't even have Ryzen Master installed.
  10. Hi, I am upgrading my system from a 12600KF to a 14600KF, basically for the fun of it and out of curiosity. And what do I get? Several bluescreens. My Mainboard is an ASUS Prime Z690-P D4 with 16GB of Corsair Vengance 3200 RAM. I updated the BIOS (and ME) to latest (2801) before switching the CPU. I reinstalled Windows 11 just to make sure to not have a driver issue. But the behavior did not change. Several applicatons (like firefox or outlook) close with errors. And sporadicly I get bluescreens, especially when installing driver updates for example for the Nvidia GPU or using Microsoft Teams with a webcam. I downgraded to a Core i3 13100 and all problems disapear instantly. I re-upgraded to a second 14600KF I bought from another store. Back to bluescreens. Did I miss any important setting in the BIOS? Everything is set to default except XMP for the RAM. Maybe 14th gen is not yet stable and / or compatible with Z690 yet? I guess it will be wise to just wait for the next bios to be released, right? I also contacted ASUS Support but no reply yet.
  11. Recently I've started getting random bluescreens and sometimes my screen freezes and I cant do anything unless I restart my pc. I've had problems like this in the past and it somehow solved itself because I have no idea why they stop happening. Last time I reinstalled my windows from a USB drive and it worked but this time it doesn't seem to help. I've tried reinstalling windows, reinstalling drivers, reseating my RAM and GPU, running memtest 86 free version because I can't pay for 4 passes and no errors found. Also reset bios settings to default and I can't remember if I did anything else other than that. BSoD's I get are: IRQL not less or equal System service exception Attempted write to read only memory System thread exception System thread exception not handled Exception on invalid stack. So from these u can see that there are many different BSOD's that I get and I don't know what causes them. Specs: Amd ryzen 3 2200g AMD rx 460 8gb ram GEIL one stick These are my minidump files https://files.catbox.moe/9vdl9m.zip Thanks for help!
  12. OS - Windows 10 x64 What OS was originaly installed on the system Is the OS an OEM version (came pre-installed on system) or full retail version (YOU purchased it from a retailer)? : OEM Age of system (hardware) - 1 year Age of OS installation - have you re-installed the OS? : No CPU model : Ryzen 7 5800X Video Card model : RTX 3060 12gb TwinEdge OC Motherboard -MSI MAG b550 Torpedo Power Supply - 750W Cooler master Laptop or Desktop : Desktop So recently I've reinstalled my Network settings and restarted my PC , after restarting I tried opening chrome and a website but it instantly Blue Screened and gives me the IRQL error and rebooted the whole PC again, now the weird thing is everytime I wanted to open an application let's just say Discord, steam , chrome tabs , etc it instantly Blue Screened. The next thing I know is running sfc /scannow which it had no issues or errors at all, I also tried uninstalling and installing the Network adapters inside Device Manager and it seems everything is up to date ( also windows is up to date ). After running System diagnostics a popup appeared and it instantly Blue Screened my PC as if everything I open causes a Blue Screen, right now I'm out of ideas on how to fix it since everything I open causes my PC to die so yeah uhh help another blue screen : another one : more.. At this point I'm completely out of ideas and lost

  15. Hello! After i overclocked my cpu to 5ghz and i have volt set on auto i get bluescreens even tho my temps are fine. Highest I have seen is 75c (HW Info) Everything is done in BIOS. CPU: Intel i59600k overclocked to 5ghz on 1.415v (Volt is set to auto) Highest temp i see is 75c with a peak at 77c sometimes. Motherboard: MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon PSU: Corsair TX750M Cooler: Corsair Hydro H100i PRO, Upgraded to LL120mm fans in a push pull config running at 1800rpm after 40c Should i try to lower the voltage? This is my first ever attempt at overclocking and I´m not sure where to go from here. Let me know if more photos are needed! Thanks!
  16. I recently am getting a BSOD with KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR as an error code. It doesn't specify what failed. It only affects the games I play with launchers like Epic Games and Riot. The games launch for a few seconds then crashes and opens up Windows Explorer on the drive the games are placed on. If I relaunch the same games after they crash I get the BSOD with the KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR. I tried some fixes I can find like chkdsks, memory diagnostics and paging files size from performance options in system properties and even then none of the mentioned methods seems to work. I also tried unplugging both Memory sticks, SSD and HDD then plugging them back in place which also doesn't seem to help. Here are my specs: Motherboard: B450M DS3H CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3400G GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 PSU: ST50F-ES230 SSD: ADATA SU360 HDD: Seagate BarraCuda 1 TB RAM: T Force Dark z 8gb 3200mhz x2
  17. Went afk for a while and came back to a "operating system not found, try removing devices that do not contain a os" screen, re-started my pc removing the external HDD and it booted just fine. Skip to me running the disk scans and checking checking the health of SSD and hdd, SSD was at 69% health and hdd showed as "good" so I went ahead and did a cmd check disk schedule for repairing any corrupted files. As I restarted the pc, it went ahead with the C drive scan but got stuck at 16% for 5mins and then displayed a blue screen which I have attached below, Restarting again now doesn't boot up the windows anymore but displays the bios with SSD nowhere to be found. I had a situation similar to this ~3 yrs back, where it was a faulty psu that bricked my ssd, I replaced both and everything was fine, I have been seeing usual readings in my intel xtu which displays -3.7Ghz or +22Ghz sometimes, thought it was a faulty error and uninstalled xtu entirely. What are my options now ? Thanks for any feedback.
  18. As the title says. Was watching a movie when all of a sudden my PC bluescreened. Initially, it was stuck in a blue screen loop where it said “Just collecting some information”, then would restart, and return to the same screen, going in a loop. After forcefully shutting down a few times, eventually it progressed to its current state. Now when the PC is turned on (after the BIOS screen) you are greeted to a black screen with a windows logo and the text “Preparing Automatic Repair”. The issue here is that it freezes at this screen, and doesn’t actually repair. All of the online tutorials don’t work since they all require to actually boot into windows and fix it from there (but it never actually gets past this automatic repair screen, so nothing can be done). I’ve updated my BIOS to the latest version, as well as tried booting from a Windows Installation Media from a USB drive, but the BIOS update didn’t fix anything, and when I select to boot from the USB, once I then try to boot my display is just black and nothing actually happens. Anyone encountered this before and have a solution, or to offer an idea for a solution? I feel like I’ve tried everything to no avail.

  20. Me and my brother did build a new computer for him. I was really happy he finally got a good computer for himself. Sadly the new build is having issues and bluescreens once every 3 days. 21. So in the past few months, I've had issues with my PC. It started with GPU artifacts in almost every game I've run ranging from Overwatch to Stardew Valley. I'd say the only game I've yet to see artifacting in is Minecraft. It wasn't too much of a problem and I saw there was a drivers update for my GPU so I updated my drivers but there was no change. I decided to run DDU and reinstall my drivers but the problem still occurred. I decided to just ignore it as it wasn't much of a problem at the time. Well then the first blue screen occurred, I don't remember the error as it was a while back but I remember messing with my drivers again, going back to older drivers, waiting for updates to newer drivers, DDU and reinstalling drivers again. I eventually just gave up and lived with the problem because it didn't bother me too much that was until recently I purchased some new ram sticks to combine with my old ram (I know it's not the best idea to mix ram but trying to save a little cash) for 32gb of ram. My older ram is 3000mhz while the two newer sticks are 3200mhz so I kept the speeds at 3000mhz. I think this only made things worse. The crashes especially with Overwatch crashing have always been very inconsistent but since I made changes with ram it's been occurring slightly more. The first day with the new ram my overwatch crashed about 4 times, my PC froze up once, and my PC also blue screened with the error VIDEO_SCHEDULE_INTERNAL_ERROR. So first thing I did was test my ram sticks. I removed my older sticks first to see if problems still occurred and after about a day I was still having artifacts issues and my overwatched crashed again. I tested my older sticks on there own and still have the same problems. I know the VIDEO_SCHEDULE_INTERNAL_ERROR usually indicates GPU issues so ran DDU and I swapped out my GPU ( Radeon RX 6600 XT ) with a spare RX 5600XT just yesterday. I thought it was going well and it seemed like the issue was my GPU in the end I had some artifacting but not as much as before and my displays froze up again, haven't had time to really play Overwatch but it hasn't crashed yet. I've followed the advice from Blizzard and their forums but it's obviously not just my Overwatch that I'm seeing issues it's just where it occurs the most. Currently, I'm stumped but I do plan on asking my brothers if they could test out all of my ram sticks and GPU on their rigs to see if they have any issues at all. Could this be a software issue? Could my motherboard be the problem? I'd really appreciate any help Specs: Motherboard- ASUS TUF GAMING B550-PLUS CPU- Ryzen 5 1600 GPU- RX 6600 XT Ram- Corsair Vengence 3000mhz 16gb, Corsair Vengence 3200mhz 16gb SSD- Samsung 870 1TB Powersupply- Seasonic 850W 80+ Gold
  22. Hey all, i am getting frequent (every couple days) DPC_Watchdog_Violation BOSD's. Device is a Yoga 14ARB7, with a year old fresh windows 11 install. Drivers up to date with Lenovo Vantage. I tried to look in to the dmp files myself, but quickly realized that I have no clue what to look for. I cant pin down any application, process, time, location, Powermode, USB devices, charging state, ... that would trigger this BSOD. Thanks in advance for any help! Marius 051023-14500-01.zip
  23. I built my pc about 8 months ago and it was running fine with no problems. It has an I9 13900k 64gb ddr5 Corsair Dominator Ram and RTX 3070 ti with 2 Netac m.2's (one is 2tb the other is 1tb) it also has a 1000w corsair psu. About last month it started crashing and going to the bluescreen of death with the Windows stop code WHEA uncorrectable error. I took it to a pc repair shop and they diagnosed the problem down to a faulty ssd, so that was swapped out and they loaded a fresh install of Windows 11 and it seemed to run fine for a few days other than noticeable drop in fps. Now when I open no mans sky it comes up with an error saying that the program isn't responding and then the game crashes. the pc also crashes when nothing is open and it is just idle on the desktop and goes to the blue screen of death with the windows stop code Critical process died. once the pc is restarted once it shuts down it doesn't display to any of my monitors and to fix this I have had to unplug everything at the same time and leave it for 10 mins or so before I can reboot it without any trouble. I also looked into the windows events log and there were no errors logged. Any ideas on what the problem could be?
  24. Hi there, my girlfriend just had an odd blue screen and since I'm on a business trip I can't really do much to check what's wrong so I have no clue what to do and if anyone could help to know what's actually going on because she mentioned something about being on a suspicious site and that a tab opened and that the pc blue screened I told her to do a few things and to send me some pictures. Thanks to everyone up front that's going to help, I'm a busy guy so I won't have the time to thank every single person that might help! Also I'm sorry if I choose the wrong selection to post this topic.
  25. Solution: One of my ram sticks dying or dead. The computer is now no longer detecting it. Reseating didn't help and switching which slots the sticks are in results it no longer posting. My desktop has been blue screening every 3 to 5 minutes since a fresh Windows 10 install and I am not sure how to troubleshoot this. Some background. I built this computer about three years ago. Over the past few months I started getting a blue screen once every few weeks or so and I couldn't find a source of the problem. This week that seemed to change to every couple of hours. Now I am not sure if the situation got worse or I was just leaving my computer on long enough for the problem to occur. I'm the type that turns my computer off when I'm not using it, so at most it's on six to eight hours. But I was trying an online backup this week, so the computer was on all day for once. So the issue might have been just more noticeable. I tried the normal Troubleshooting: Windows Update, SFC, chkdsk, DISM, Memory Diagnostic, disconnected everything but the boot drive keyboard and mouse, removed and reseated both RAM and GPU. Eventually I reformatted the boot drive and installed Windows 10. Now it Blue Screens every three to five minutes. I downloaded new drivers, then ran the same troubleshooting as before, still nothing. I have not seen a BSOD when booted in safe mode. Each BSOD message is different. I've had: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE APC_INDEX_MISSMATCH And probably some more that I missed. At this point I've been working this for three days and I am out of ideas. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. System Information. Windows 10 x64 OS was bought from Microsoft Three year old system Boot Drive is WD_BLACK 1TB SN750 NVMe AMD Ryzen 5 3600 MSI RTX 3070 Asus X570-P Prime Corsair RM850 power supply I've attached the Sysnative output. However, the computer does not stay on long enough to run the Resource and Performance Monitor, so I am unable to share that. SysnativeFileCollectionApp.zip
