Hey all. I got Black Ops 4 a while ago but was never able to really enjoy it as it ran horribly. I turned down all graphics to the point where I couldn't even see player models anymore and was still getting below 30 fps. With all this newfound time on my hands, I figured it would be pretty fun to give it a go again and see if new graphics drivers fixed it or something. Sadly, they did not. However, I noticed that when I turned the in game resolution down from 1080p (my monitor's native resolution) to 1050p, (1650x1050) the game was super smooth. I was even able to crank up the graphics and everything was great. However, everything looks muddy, like there is a filter over it (because of scaling I suppose) and I would like to play at 1080p. Is there any reason why it would run so terribly at 1080p but run perfectly at 1050p? PC Specs: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/v8TyLD

Hello, I need help!! this are my pc specs https://pcpartpicker.com/list/sM9kpG I recently changed the Graphics Card from gtx 970 to the MSI RTX 2060 Ventus OC 6G I used DDU to clean install the new drivers. Black ops crashes everytime after finishing a match. Not ever during, sometimes in the menu but never in-game and i can only play one match. FPS is good, temps reach a max of 75 C. I reinstalled the game and it keeps crashing or restarting my pc. It leaves no crash files. Ive run Fire Streak Benchmark for 4 hours, Heaven for 4 hours, Asus benchmark and stress test for 5 hours or more, Intel Stress test adn it passed. The only one that crashes is the Time Spy benchmark in the third try. Ive also tried underclocking the gpu and i have the same result. ive played PUBG, Shadow of War, GTA V, Rainbow Six Siege all at Ultra with no problems. Now maybe the overclock is no stable on my pc or something but the game keeps crashing after one match. Black Ops 4 never crashed with the gtx 970. I do have an old Windows 10 build idk if that has anything to do with it? but still it never crashed with the gtx 970. Should I send the Video card back? idk whats going on. Ive also tried putting the file on administrator mode, putting all the graphics at low, setting the cpu cores to manual and changing the cpu cores in the properties. I dont know what else to do, i was thinking about the nvidia drivers too but my friend can play normally with my GTX 970 card and the latest drivers. Still I tried downgrading the drivers to an older version (430.39) and nothing, keeps crashing and restarting my pc. One last thing the game never ever crashes during a game or while loading the match, it is always in the menus (creating a class, searching for a match, from the match to the menu). Should i try changing the card to another slot? Im out of ideas.

Hey everyone, I have semi-recently swapped to PC Gaming for my daily gaming and don't know anyone that plays PC Games to play with. I typically play Black Ops 4, but also play a bit of Battlefield V and 1 as well as some Star Wars Battlefront 2. I'm open to all types of players, good or bad, just want someone I can talk to while playing instead of being a lone ranger as I have been for the past few months. Hope to find some friendly folks to enjoy some games with!

Hello everyone, I've recently built my first gaming PC and encountered some problems while testing Black Ops 4. The Game runs at highest settings (1080p) @ around 105 FPS, but the FPS drops to 20 from time to time and the game stutters really bad, making it unplayable. Shadow of Mordor runs at highest settings (4K Resolution) with around 75 FPS, so my hardware shouldn't be a problem. My question is, what could I do to fix the stutter and fps drops? Specs: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 @3,85 ghz Asus ROG Strix RTX 2070 OC 8GB Asus ROG Strix B450-F Gaming Mainboard 16 GB DDR4 RAM GSkill Aegis 500GB Samsung 970 EVO NVMe M.2 be quiet! Straight Power 11 550W

Certain games aren't well optimized for HT/SMT, namely R6S and BO4. Can I get around this while still using HT/SMT by setting the CPU affinity to only the physical cores in use when HT/SMT is off? For example, if I'm running a Ryzen 5 1600 and I have 6 cores and 12 threads, can I simply disable usage of cores 6-11 and keep 0-5? I don't know much about HT/SMT and cpu management, so any pointers in this area would help. I'm just tired of stuttering in BO4 and crashing randomly in R6S, I have a very capable computer for 2018 with a 1080 and 16 GB RAM. I know devs themselves have to optimize their games, but I also need to make sure my hardware is setup properly. I was told managing parking might be helpful via this program: http://coderbag.com/Programming-C/CPU-core-parking-manager-v3 Anyone else used something like this? Never heard of it.

I purchased an ASUS Card from Amazon.com and got the run around. Below is a copy of the email I sent to support. I finally got it working, because Amazon, ASUS, and Activision have not been of any help. After this whole process the blizzard site battle.net still doesn't show that I own a copy of the game, but thankfully the battle.net client does. Figured if I ran into this problem someone else might. Good luck and god speed.. TLDR: try going to https://promotion.asus.com/en/promotionform/codbo4/step-1 to redeem your code. #### BEGIN e-mail sent to ASUS Promo support #### TO: support@asus-promotion.com From: ME To whom it may concern, I recently purchased a new ASUS Branded Graphics Card model# ROG-STRIX-GTX1070TI-A8G-GAMING from Amazon.com in part because it came bundled with a code for the new game Call of Duty®: Black Ops 4 as indicated on your company's website at < https://promotion.asus.com/en/call-of-duty-black-ops-4-dominate-with-the-best >. After making sure that the offer was indeed applicable to my region and the product I desired I made my purchase. After making the purchase I received an email from Amazon customer support with my promotional code and was provided a link to "redeem" my ASUS promotional offer. The link in the email I received is < http://www.callofduty.com/bundle > . I clicked on the link provided and attempted to enter the promotional code and was given an error message which stated " Please make sure you're entering your 13-character code as it's displayed on your reciept or insert in the email in which the code was provided. If you still need help, please go to http://support.activision.com/ " I then contacted Amazon and they responded with a new code that was the same format that the included link would not accept, and Amazon quickly washed their hands of the problem stating that it is a manufacturer promotion not and Amazon.com promotion and I do not disagree with them. I was then directed to reach out to ASUS. I tried calling and the call center menu options never let me get to a human being to address the problem. I reached out via twitter to @ASUSUSA and was told that my code did not meet the specified parameters as outlined at < https://www.asus.com/us/site/Call-of-Duty/#FAQ > paragraph 5. and that I need to let amazon know that it is an incorrect code. Determined to not get put into a loop of people who obviously aren't quite sure what to do I began to read a little more carefully and low and behold at < https://promotion.asus.com/en/us/call-of-duty-black-ops-4-dominate-with-the-best > there is a large orange button that states "Claim Now" and this link does not match the link that Amazon provided instead it leads to < https://promotion.asus.com/en/promotionform/codbo4/step-1 > I then followed all of the prompts that I was presented, typing all of my information in such as Promo code, name, address, and serial number. I uploaded my Amazon invoice and a picture of the white label on my retail packaging containing my model number, serial number, and other information. After all of that I received an error of which I have attached an image to this email and it directed me to contact ASUS support. I finally got into a live chat and was told you email this address to get further support. I know that I have included a lot of information in this email, but I believe that this is ridiculous that it took me nearly 4 days to even figure out how this is supposed to work and on top of that the system simply resulted in an error and I haven't made any progress. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated. All I would like to do is enjoy the $400 product I bought with the promotion that was promised. I am not upset with you, I am upset with the situation. I have also attached my Amazon invoice, and a photo of my UPC. Thank you in advance for your time. ####END e-mail sent to ASUS Promo support ####

Hey, I play PC games and my discord profile is linked in my LTT profile. I play: Black Ops 3/4 (mostly zombies, but Blackout and MP as well) Rainbow 6 Siege Battlefield 4 For Battlenet, I play on North America servers, so I cannot play with those in other regions. I'm East coast, but I play with people on West coast regularly with no trouble. Do you play at least two of these games or have an interest in CoD zombies on either BO3 or BO4? If so, add me on discord, I'm always looking for more people to play. Thanks for reading.

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 keeps crashing. Every game without fail COD crashes. I've tried trouble shooting on everything, I've changed all the graphics low and high and either way it still crashes. I've even tried reinstalling the game to see if it would stop the issue and there was no results when i get into the game it runs fine, 60 FPS at high or very high settings, no problem. But then towards the second half of damnation it will crash and ill restart the game and the cycle will start again. any help i would appreciate. Thank you

Welcome to my 4th Parvum Systems build... The first was Parvum Titanfall, the Second was Parvum Warfare, and most recently Tears In Rain. If you hadn't guessed yet, this one is themed around the upcoming Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 release... More on that below. I have a thing for doing themed builds I just can't shake... I guess it's just what I do! It allows my to tap into a rich universe and pluck thematic inspiration. Something about this build style just motivates and excites me. When I get an idea for these themed builds something usually grabs me and I can't shake it, like a gut feeling followed by complete obsession that this is the one. That happened with all 3 previous builds; there was never a question, I felt inspired and motivated for those concepts. While Black Ops "4" has a nice fitting "4" ring to it that goes with my Parvum chronology, something is pulling me in... CoD may be a controversial brand that's lost it's footing here and there, but I have faith in Treyarch despite silly rumors, and the universe is just so rich and ripe for the thematic plucking. I designed the case and have sent said design to Parvum to work their acrylic wizardry. This one is pretty wild, here are some key features: *Heavily customized Parvum Systems R1.0 case w/ quad layers and custom engraving work *Armor cladding design w/ battle damage having tore several holes in the case *MATX w/ motherboard orientation the same as Parvum Warfare, except bottom of GPU will show through front of case (battle damaged hole) *Front of case logo will be displayed on a 5" LCD display visible through a battle damaged hole in the front *Floor, roof, and rear panel water distribution plates Main Components: Case - Parvum Systems R1.0 (Highly Customized) CPU - AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1900x Motherboard - ASRock X399M Taichi Micro ATX Memory - 16Gb (4x4) Team Group T-Force Delta RGB 3000 GPU's - 2 x Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080's SSD - 2 x Samsung 970 Evo M.2 250Gb (Raid 0) + TBD PSU - EVGA SuperNOVA P2 1200w Watercooling Components: CPU Block - HEATKILLER IV PRO for Threadripper COPPER NICKEL (Product #18026) GPU Block's - 2 x HEATKILLER IV for GTX 1080 - ACRYL Ni (Product #15576) GPU Backplates - 2 x HEATKILLER IV eBC - Backplate for GTX 1080 (Product #16063) Radiators - 1 x 360 HEATKILLER TBD, 1 x 240 HEATKILLER TBD Pump/Top Combo - WCP D5-VARIO with HEATKILLER® D5-TOP (Product #30009) Fittings - Barrow - all gold Tubing - Barrow 14mm chrome plated tube Coolant - TBD Miscellaneous: Lighting - DarkSide RGB Fans - 5 x Noctua NF-P12 Redux-1700 Cables - Ensourced Custom Sleeved Cables Built-in Display - 5 Inch Waveshare Capacitive Touch Screen

What do you guys think about Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 being added to Blizzard Battle.net? And what is positive and negative about this? What I think is positive: - Pay using Blizzard Balance - No additional Activision launcher needed - Cross-Game Chat (You will be able to whisper friends from inside WoW/Heroes Of The Storm, Hearthstone, ... and talk to your Call Of Duty friends that way! That's actually very nice!) What I find negative about it: - When the announcement was made, WoW gold prices for a WoW token is higher (you can use these token(s) to convert ingame gold to €15 Blizzard Balance for each token) - When the game appeared in Blizzard Battle.net I personally found it a bit odd/weird, Since it is a game not being developed by Blizzard. - No option yet to filter publishers in Blizzard Battle.net, I'd like an option to hide activision games or just any game in general. (for example; hiding games I didn't buy yet or not play much.) - Instead of Steam, They'll publish it only on Blizzard Battle.net (I understand why, But I do not know if this is a good idea... A few days ago the login servers were already flooded/full, 1 hour wait time to log in...) I'd like some input from you guys, Is this a good idea or a bad idea from Activision-Blizzard? Btw, I don't hate Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4, I just think it is a odd decision of them for releasing it on Blizzard Battle.net instead of Steam.
