Hello. I've been having stutters in all games I play for about 4 days alerady. Been trying to fix them for 4 days too. At first I had some stutters in only Dakride and I thought that his is just a flaaw of the patch, nothing more. Then I've started to hear a single bios/mobo(?) beep while playign the game. It was happening every 30 mins or so. Stutters was pretty annoying but not gamebreaking. Then I've read that a single beep code means: DRAM refresh failure or memory error . So I run my RAM throuight the MemTest82. Got about 200 fails on one of my ram stick in it. So I bought a new RAM and run it through the MemTest82, no error or fails whatsoever. Then i've tried to play the game and stutters didn't go anywhere, so as the beeps. Since then i've trried literally everything to fix that. I even reset my CMOS and did a clean install of windows 11. I've been trying to replace my RAM sticks and turn on/off XMP profile, also tried to run my PC with only one stick of RAM, but to no avail. Also completely cleaned my PC, my temps now are even better than before, and they were fine before. Weirdest thing is, that I have no stutters while running benchmarks in 3Dmark, and only got a single stutter in furmark (after multiple tests). But while playing even the lightest single player 3D games I have stutters all over the place. Also have no clue what is the reason for the beeps anymore, since I am hearing them in my headphones and I did a clean install of windows. I also see all of the stutters on my frame time graph in the afterburner overlay, while otherwise graph looks fine and stable. Dunno if there is any stuttering outside of games tho. P{obably not, but this is rather difficult for me to test. I'm about to give up tbh. Tech forums are the last cling of hope I have left. Otherwise I'll just make a new build on a few months or so. My specs are: MB - Gigabyte x570s UD RAM - G.Skill Ripjaws V 3600 mhz Cl16 GPU - RTX3060 CPU - Ryzen 7: 5800X3D PSU - CollerMaster MWE Gold 650W OS - Windows 11 PRO DAC - FiiO K3 And my monitor dosen't have a G-Sync, unfortunately. Windows is still pretty much clean, no RGB fusions. APP Centers, and any other garbage that I had on my previous windows install. I am also attached a vdioe with a beeping sound captured on it (windows sounds are tunred off brw). Is there any way to fix all this? Sorry for any bad english in my post, if there is any. DTB.mp4

i bought a used asrock z270m-itx/ac for an i7-6700 i had laying around, i keep getting 3 beep codes sometimes 4 i’ve tried both slots. my rgb ram lights up and i’ve also tried different ram that i know works.

Hello guys, I have this problem for like two days and I´ve already tried a few fixes but it didn´t help me out. A few months ago, I had the problem that my PC randomly turned off and then back on several times a day (sometimes one of my ram sticks didn´t light up after this). The event viewer showed Kernel Power 41 so I thought that my Power Supply made trouble, well I bought a new one without success. But then after I cleaned every single Ram Stick with contact cleaner the problem seamed to be fixed, well not really... Maybe 4 weeks ago the same thing happend again, so I tried cleaning it up again and everything was fine again. I switched the positions of both ram sticks so that the B2 Stick was now put in A2, to find out if one Ram Stick is broken or if the Ram Slot of my motherboard is broken, in case the problem should occur again. Enough for the background story, now to my current problem: Two days ago I started my PC, Windows has booted up and an error message was displayed: Aac3572DramHal_x64.exe error Can´t open AslO3.sys!! Failed with error code 433: A non-existent device has been specified. Instead of 32 GB of Ram, the Task Manager, as well as my Bios showed only 16 GB. I turned my PC off, unplugged the Power Plug and turned it back on after a minute. The problem still existed, but the same Ram Stick I mentioned before didnt light up again. The next hour I played Games with both Ram Sticks, but only 16 GB working, and only one lighting up. The next day I wanted to put my old 16 GB Kit instead of my 32 GB Kit in to send it back to Corsair. My PC started and the American Megatrends Screen showed up that I only have 8 GB of Ram installed (instead of 16GB). So I turned everything of and I checked if the ram fits correctly -yes it did fit correctly. Then I wanted to turn my PC back on, every LED lighted up, but my Monitor showed no signal, and my Keyboard and Mouse didn´t light up. Things I tried: CMOS Reset Using my CPU integrated graphics (with unplugged Graphics Card) Putting in only one Stick of Ram unplugging every USB Device on the back of my PC (Powercable and HDMI Cable connected) Using two different Monitors with HDMI and Display Port Nothing works out for me. So I decided to use a Speaker: 1 Long, 2 short - This should mean that my graphics card is dead... Even with unplugged graphics card, it says the same. I don´t have any idea how I can fix this problem... Anyway, I hope someone can give me some advice on what I should do. Thanks in advance! Question for anyone who might have some more knowledge than I. So I'm using a Dell Optiplex 9020 Minitower with 650W Gold EVGA PSU, i5 4590 CPU, Nvidia Geforce GTX 750 ti, 16gb RAM (4, sticks of 4gb each), 1 SSD and Two HDD. Everything has been running perfectly for years until a few days ago, ironically while watching a LTT video I got some error beeps. I think it was 1-3-1 which Dells site says relates to "DIMMs not being properly identified or used" Nothing actually happened during this and the beep pattern only happened once. Then, just today after closing out of a game/The Playnite launcher I got a single short beep as I turned my second monitor back on (not sure if related), but again, nothing bad seems to have come of this. However I cannot even find what this one short beep means when actively using the PC, just what it would mean at boot. The only change I've made in the machine was recently I installed the second HDD wiped from an old PC, unplugging one of the two default disc drives that the 9020 ships with as I don't use it and would rather have more storage. Just worried something may be failing since these two instances occurred seemingly out of nowhere and so close together. Anyone have any clue what a single short beep while using the PC means, or perhaps what could cause this to have just started? Any help is super appreciated! Added Info: After the first instance of beeping I downloaded the Dell Support Assis app and checked everything/update the DBUtil Removal Utility - A03 - 8.02 MB as it was listed as critical, but the tests all passed.

I have an ECS Q77 based machine that just wont start. Fans all spin but I get no video and 3 beeps. I swapped the RAM (tried 3 different pcs) and nothing .. just 3 beeps. I had a G620 in there so thought I would try an I5-2400 from a working Asrock H71 but no luck. I tried 2 different GPU and without GPU and 2 different PSU (both GPU and PSU work fine with the Asrock system) The 3 pcs of RAM and both CPU work 100% in the Asrock but the ECS simply beeps. I had a look and the cpu pins seem OK but I'm no expert (even after watching the latest LTT on bent pins) Anyone seen this .. got any suggestions ..

Switched on the PC started , loaded OS, all good and working. Restarted, display shows orange background with vertical lines (orange is my base colour in windows). And then I get a burning smell just for 2-3 seconds, so I unplug it from the mains. Since then there has been no post no beep codes. BUT if I remove the memory stick I get 3 long beeps a pause then continuous long beeps ( I counted as far as 8 beeps then decided they must be continuous, tell me if I'm wrong here). I've checked the PSU. I feel it's a memory issue but don't understand why there are no beep codes if the issue is regarding memory. I've heard the continuous long beeps indicate gpu problem, but my cpu has onboard graphics is it possible that only my onboard gpu is fried. Is it possible that it is giving out two distinct set of beep codes one after another. All the testing was done excluding any type of addons, drives, etc. What other reasons could cause this? Also, forgot to mention there is no apparent signs of burning on mobo or other parts. So what would the smell indicate?

Hi so recently my hp desktop started to make beep codes when i try to turn it on. before it had boot problems it tried installing a AMD Radeon 5450 and i starting having the problems. i then removed the card and i still have the boot problem. i tried everything to get it to stop the beep codes. i resetted CMOS and still does this i tried even installing a different graphics card and it still has this problem. i will try to post a video about this soon just give me about 5 minutes to record one and upload it. I have put together my computer and I believe that everything is hooked up right and things should be fine. I tried booting up just to see if everything would at least start because I do not have an OS yet and I get a series of beeps, one for turning it on then one long, four short, and then a pause with another short beep afterwards. I just want to get it to post and be ready for windows to install when I get 8.1 Three of my fans spin up but they are connected to a fan controller and my CPU cooler fans do not spin up. My parts are on my profile but to save you the trip - CPU - i7 4790K Motherboard - Asus Z97-A RAM - G.Skill Ripjaws 1866 16GB GPU - Gigabyte G1 Geforce GTX 970 PSU- Cosair CXM 750W Storage - 840 EVO 250GB + WD 1TB Blue And an Asus disc drive This is my first build and I'm just happy that I got to see the fans spin and light up blue and also hear something from the computer. Any help is much appreciated and if there's any other info you need or steps you think I need to take, please tell me. Thank you for your time.

So 4 beeps in an AMI BIOS mean this - 4 short System timer failure- The system clock/timer IC has failed or there is a memory error in the first bank of memory. I don't quite understand it. What should I do to fix this ?

"POST" Beep Error Codes I'm new to PC building and repairs and recently wanted to start my experience in the field. I went and tried to rebuild a old HP Slimline s3420f, I purchased a new hard drive and reapplied new thermal paste. I also acquired RAM for the PC. I cleared the computer and all its components of "obstructions" or dust and after replacing the broken parts I put the system back together. However when the system tried to boot up, the display stopped working and the Error Beeps began to play in a constant loop. 1 short and 1 long beep. I have tried to go back and fix the problem but I am absolutely stumped.
