Hello, so i have a sapphire pulse rx580 8gb for a few years now and ever since i got it ive been noticing this weird "moving pixels" and very horrible aa in every single game. Its not game braking and i usually dont notice it much but ive been wondering if anyone else has seen this before and knows how to fix it. Ive literally tried everything, different settings on the amd software, ive reinstalled windows multiple times since ive got it, upgraded my bios and so on. The one thing that seems to be making a difference is if i use virtual super resolution but that isnt really a choice since my pc isnt that good. Here is a video in gw2 to demonstrate what i mean by "moving pixels" but keep in mind in other games this effect is much much more amplified. Notice where my mouse is pointing. Also the game graphics settings are at max with the highest aa setting for gw2 being SMAA high. My specs: Ryzen 5 5500 (had the same problem with ryzen 3 2200g) AMD sapphire pulse rx580 8gb asrock 350ab pro4 with bios 7.0 so that it can support Cezanne (had the same problem before upgrading the cpu) dual channel 16gb ram with xmp at 3200mhz Any ideas or advice are welcome, thanks in advance. I know image sharpening should be disabled for FidelityFX Super Resolution, but what about anti-aliasing?

Just saw an ad for this product First of all they claim that it's essentially a plug in graphics card which makes no sense if you know what a graphics card is. I did a little digging and found out that it's essentially an HDMI post processing thing. It claims to upscale, and add antialiasing which kind of makes sense, but most modern TV's do this anyways so your milage may vary depending on what hardware you are actually running in the first place. But then get this; it also claims to add depth of field effects. Correct me if I'm wrong, but being someone who has spent a good deal of time messing with reshade, I know that you need access to the depth buffer within the graphics api to actually get anything close to good depth of field. So I'm really curious if anyone knows more about how the apparent DOF works on this thing or if that claim is totally offbase.

Hey, Just bought a new pc recently and I noticed that in all games anti-aliasing somehow doesn't work. If that makes sense. Let me explain a bit more: In all games I tried since I got this PC, there seems to be spiky edges to everything, from items to world objects and characters. Escape from Tarkov, AC Unity, Arma 3, Hearts of Iron 4. Even with all my settings set to high or ultra, jagged edges and flashing textures still appear. The flashing textures are the most noticeable in Tarkov, but are present in all other games as well. No matter what I try, I can't get rid of this problem, and it's really bothering me because every game runs smooth as butter on a 144hz monitor. So something like this is unusually annoying. I'll try to take a video and post the link here, but it's more visible when I'm in-game. I tried: -Resetting Windows -Uninstalling drivers with DDU and reinstalling them -Updating windows -Installing only the drivers, but not the driver program ( Radeon Adrenaline) -Trying out with a different monitor (the issue still persisted so it's not a monitor problem) Now, before I would get in contact with the company I bought it from I wanted to write this so that if this ever happened to anyone else, there may be a chance to fix it at home, and not have to worry about the shipping prices, and the possibility that they can't even fix it. My specs: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Sapphire RX 5600 XT games are running on a 1tb seagate hard drive, system is on a 120gb kingston ssd ASRock B450M PRO4-F motherboard 2x8 GB G.Skill Aegis DDR4 3200MHz ram FSP 700W Hyper M PSU I bought the pc prebuilt because I don't fully trust my building skills yet. I'm really out of ideas so if there's anyone out there with any kind of experience with this sort of thing, I'd appericiate any kind of help. So I decided to look up why people turn off AA for benchmarking (I know why now, not what the thread is about), but I noticed on all the different websites and threads I looked at, 90% of people were also just saying they never use it because you hardly notice it's effects. Like I literally saw close to 100 posts of people saying that, and stressing how it's because how small monitors are compared to TVs. But for me, that's ridiculous. I can see anti aliasing effects clearly even in fast paced games when I'm not even thinking about it. I game on a 22.5" monitor, so it's not too massive. I can clearly see all the differences in each level of AA as you go higher and higher. And even with just FXAA on, it doesn't make anywhere near a difference.. So like, I can't be the only person that notices that. It's not like I have crazy eyes or anything, it's clear as day. Not sure why people say that .-.

Hello everyone, im having a little problem with my new pc, i dont know exactly how to describe it, i think the best word might be "flickering". This is something that is happening in every game iv played (exept maybe really old ones) i see this flickering with the shadows and also notice that the AA of the textures "moves" like it is going down the edge of the object. Iv tried with many diferents AA settings but nothing seems to work. I really hope u guys can help me, iv uploaded a short video of "The Forest" where this problem is really noticeable. Youtube made my video low resolution so the flickering is not really noticeable now. u really need to pay attention to see it (im worried to start looking like a mad man). What is difference between fxaa, txaa, mxaa, etc.?

So I looked a bit into the world of WATCH_DOGS>>>> thru other people's eyes. What I saw the last day, and this day about the Watch Dog(e)s, you know what I'm doing here right? Was just a diassapointing and unfinished product. What I expected from a company that had a good reputation and still has it, is, a more polished product. As the Ubisoft staff said themselves: "We are postponing this game because whenever we looked we all saw the same thing (unfinished product) so we want to improve the game" And when they said that, I really, really, and once again, REALLY, believed them. It was just a beLIEf. So this is a post that shows everything that is wrong with AAA industry, or so they call it, and the game that i'm mentioning here. Sorry Ubisoft, you dissapointed me. Now what i'm going to say about this game is all TRUTH, and this isn't supposed to be BULL****ing by some 12 year old, many people that read this will either agree or say that this has already been posted (i hate that). Firstly: The Unoptimization of the game The game Isn't optimized, actually, not in any way possible. The thing that they called polishing is probably making Aiden's shoe shinier. NO ONE CARES FOR THAT. WE WANT PERFORMANCE. I wanted to buy an AMD R9 265 OC Edition to play every game, and when the mighty WATCH_DOGS>>>> came out i had to change ALL MY COMPUTER BUILDING PLANS (please note ,that, that will be my first build) So lets first say that Jason Evan Gelho did a benchmark on this game on Forbes.com, and it will blow your Brains and Balls equally strong. http://www.forbes.com/sites/jasonevangelho/2014/05/26/watch-dogs-pc-benchmark-results-multiple-amd-and-nvidia-cards-tested/ So if you go and view that, you'll first see that there isn't barely any difference between R9 280X and R9 290X, and that CROSSFIRE/SLI scaling is none, I kinda expected this with AMD cards, but since they worked with NVIDIA, why? Second: Weird Graphics Options Suprise, huh? No, not in any way, the lowest AO option (MHBAO which is a console half resolution AO) compares and looks better than HBAO+ (imo). HBAO+ High just makes everything a lot more darker, but MHBAO removes that darkness, but still EMBOSSES lots of elements ingame to make it look realistic. So also there is almost no difference between FXAA and 2xMSAA. Yep, And in every option there is no difference between ULTRA and HIGH but it degrades performance alot! Third: Graphics don't look amazing in any way On full ultra you can see things Pop in into the distance? What, we're in 2002 here? Decreasing texture quality actually can remove full polygons and most of the times you can see jaggies everywhere, and i don't need to say that foliage looks like a chewed then puked green sh!T. Fourth: No Multiple GPU's Scaling Fifth: Stuck with NVIDIA! It's really complicated for ME to explain it, but someone already posted it on the forums. Compare the 2012 trailer with the 2014 trailer, and you will see a huge degradation in quality over the past years. Isn't the title needing to be IMPROVED by how the time goes forward? So if you preordered, you got a half finished product that was even up to this day, even if it was delayed, rushed to market, and even with delaying, it wasn't optimized, and when you preorder, you support the developer for doing the same thing over and over again. i see it in the new Tomb Raider (i think is a new antialiasing) all new games that come will bring it ? i see that the FXAA is in all new games to are these new antialiasing from Nvidia or AMD ? (or intel ?... lol) thanks :lol:
