im looking to get some fun, bassy sounding headphones that differ from my current headphones (Philips SHP 9500) that are closed back or maybe semi closed. id want them to be under £200 and something that i can just plug into my pc to listen to music. Ive had a look at the Beyerdynamics dt770 pro but they apparently sound pretty whacky. But i do like the look of the build, they seem like very solid headphones. Ive also had a look at the akg k371, which apparently sound really good but have questionable quality control and they look kinda cheap and tacky. Are there any other good options available? thanks.

Hi there I'm looking for some guidance, I watched the LTT on old GPUs in today's world using amernime zone and wondered what would be the correct download for the AMD Radeon R9 290? I've tried with some to no avail and I'm looking to see if I have; 1 the right download and 2 if I'm installing it correctly. Any install guides would be greatly appreciated also. Thank you for your time

Hello hi, I'm looking for a mouse and a keyboard for a combined price of less than $200. It will be used for a little gaming, streaming and browsing the interwebs. I have quite big hands, so it would be nice if the mouse was comfortably big. A mechanical keyboard would be nice aswell. What are you expert's suggestions? Thanks!

Hello All, I have never posted in the forum and I have been given the task to get a PC part list together without peripherals for a PC that will be doing audio editing and photoshop editing workstation. The hardest thing I have ever done though was making the pc for under 200$. I was thinking a Pre-built old system for 80$ or a system with onboard graphics that has an i-3. I have been searching for something on the lines of this for about 2 weeks and found nothing with the compromise of performance. I have convinced him because he is trying to do photoshop on an Acer laptop and have all his audio editing on it as well, which is a horrendous Idea. I have been watching Linus for a very long time and cannot find an answer. Ohh Please Help me on this adventure. Let me also say that this is located in California, also he is up for the Idea of Used parts. Thanks. Jdog

Hey Everyone, Should I opt for a FiiO portable amp dac combo for on-the-go purposes or are there other better solutions for this under $200? I'm thinking of getting an amp/dac for my Beyerdynamic iDX 200 IE. Nominal Impedance: 35 ohms Sensitivity 106dB Cable Length 1.3m Connector 3.5mm My phone can't power these earbuds properly so I need an amp/dac combo on the go. The computer seems fine. It might have something to do with the phone not being able to produce enough voltage I'm guessing?

Hi Everyone, I just received my Beyerdynamic iDX 200 IE and am testing them right now. I think it's my work laptop but whenever I plug them into my work laptop, I hear a hiss ...especially when I'm not playing anything. When I plug them into my phone, youtube videos sound a little quiet but that's fine. My music sounds funky though. I have them currently plugged into my work laptop and the audio is excellent but the laptop produces this annoying hiss. How do I get rid of that? Do I need a portable DAC?

Hey everyone! I can provide pictures if needed, but I'm currently planning to mod a Dell XPS 200 case. It's badass, and I've got some cool plans for water cooling and the such, but I'm running into some issues. (A side issue, does anyone know a different PSU that'd fit in the case? If so that'd be awesome) but anyway- the front io has a board with a cable that connected to the Dell motherboard that came with it- it has 39 pins and is made by foxconn (look up 39 pin Dell io on eBay and you'll probably see it) does anyone know how I could modify this to be able to use a normal boards io?

Hi all, I'm new here! I was wondering if there are any specific laptop models that are worth looking into second hand and if not second hand which new ones you would recommend. What I want to do with it and other info beneath :) I'm based in Europe (might be important) Used to mac os environement. Want to play RTS games. AOE 2 DE and AOM DE, AOE 4 when it comes out. (age of empires) Budget around 200 - 300 € --> Will probably go for a desktop environement in the future. Graphic wise I don't care too much. I don't mind running things on low settings. But it has to operate smooth of course. Was thinking of running Linux on it. (probably Pop os) I do like sturdiness, and good build quality like a macbook. Might use it as well for general things, which means browsing the web. --> For other (creative) stuff I use mac. Not afraid to use some small screwdrivers. Thanks ahead!

Hello Internet! My new place has no space for shelves, so the option of buying an ereader is getting stronger. I'd be interested in a good ereader for about € 200, one that's good displaying PDF and all kinds of ebook extensions. I would also like downloading ebooks directly and not by connecting it to a PC or laptop with an external internet conection. I have heard that Kindle is the best brand in the market but it can give compatibility issues. I accept suggestions! Thank you very much in advance.

So I've been rocking an iPhone SE since it came out and its gotten to the point where my battery is horrible so I can barely go throughout my day with at least 2 hours of screen on time at about 40% brightness and medium load use, the small screen size is also killing me. I am currently on a tight budget and looking forward to buy a new phone. I have looked over a couple of android alternatives but I cant bring myself to move back into the Android ecosystem since I have all my things synced onto my iCloud and I am just used to IOS. I also have not been willing to change to Android because I can't find anything good enough for under 200, especially something with a 1080p screen and extra features such as dual band wifi, NFC, type-c, good cameras and bright screen. So I came to a conclusion that I can get something like an used iPhone 6s that has been refurbished from best buy or amazon. I would like some thoughts if its a good idea to purchase a pre-owned iphone 6s. If any of you also have any recommendations about a good android phone under 200 with the features I stated would be much of help (has to be unlocked and can be used in the states with any carrier at 4G LTE, my carrier is metro pcs). Thank you!

I am reviving this thread because 200mm vs 2x140mm is still a relevant topic and previous points are still valid. I have an Enthoo Evolv ITX case with a Cryorig H7 cooler and the original 200mm case fan. I have modified the front panel by drilling 35 half inch holes. But, I'm still not happy with the airflow. The max CPU temps are 6 C lower with the side panel off, so I know the cooler can perform better, which is why I'm considering trying 2 140s. How are members coming to the conclusion that 2 140s would provide better cooling? My thinking is that higher quality fans could push more air due to higher pressure, but I don't know. Mathematically, the area of a 200mm circle is slightly larger than the area of 2 140mm circles. A ≈ 31415.93 vs A ≈ 15393.8 x 2 Has anyone actually tested 200mm vs 2 140s?

Hi guys, I was looking to buy a new mechanical keyboard (preferably a tactile or linear and 60/65%) to game and type on. I already found a couple but I don't know if they are the best. The drop alt and apex pro/corsair k95. What are your opinion on these and what is the best keyboard under 200 euros? Thanks in advance!1!

So I am going to build a pretty powerful system in the Phanteks EVOLV ITX cause and it comes with a 200mm fan which is FANtastic but I don't know if it will be enough to cool all my components as good as I want them to be. Build: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/TLFxcc So my question is, in this case will replacing the 200mm fan with two 140mm fans be better than just leaving the 200mm? Any comments, advice, or critique is appreciated. Thank you!

I used to have 60 ping on CSGO and BF4 but a month ago my ping tripled to 180-200 ping. Hi, i've got a phanteks enthoo luxe and I want to manage airflow in it. In stock you get 2x 140 mm fans and 1x 200 mm. I will put there also 2x 120 mm fans and 1x 140mm fan. 120 mm are noctua fans and 140mm is corsair af140 quiet edition with white LEDs. I've got also get noctua 120 mm heatsink and Galax hall of fame GTX 970. I want to put that corsair fan into rear spot. When I was configuring I don't have place to install 200 mm fan, so if cannot too, is ok. I want positive (or neutral) airflow. I was thinking about corsair mounted on the back pulling air in, phanteks 140 mm at the top pulling air out and uninstalling 200 mm fan and put there two noctua 120 mm fans pulling air in. Say if it is a good idea. P.S. I will put dust filter on the back Thanks
