Hey there, I'm kinda new to this channel which I found though some google search after watching so many videos of linus, so I hope I'm at the correct spot to find someone that could help me with my troubleshoot^^ English or German should both be fine for me if there is someone out there who is more comfortable in reaching out in German. Thanks already ! So.. I am having issues with my PC which randomly turns off, idle and under load seems to be not important as far as I can tell. When the problem occurs I cannot define sadly or recreate to run something that checks in on it. As said, my pc has some hickups which leads to it shutting down. When it's down, there sometimes is the case where it wont start up when hitting the power button but after some time, it works flawlessly. To note would be aswell, that sometimes it crashes several times within minutes and someitmes it runs for hours or even days (with powering off or hibernate in between or even on 24/7) without a problem in the world. I'm fairly certain it comes down to my power supply or my motherboard for the problems, but that's just a guess I made from google searches etc. For informations, I can give - Reliablility Monitor (Zuverlässigkeitsverlauf) - Event Viewer (Ereignisanzeige) - HWiNFO64 Informations - HWiNFO64 Log - Systeminformations And of course everything else that is asked for to boil down the problem if needed. Ahead, I'll add the mentioned things already to this message. Hopefully there is some brilliant soul out there that can figure out more than I did so far. I will check in to that channel frequently but I can be contacted via message at any time. That would be absolutely amazing since my next step would be to bring my PC to some sort of store around to have it checked.Thank you so much in advance already Ereignisanzeige - Kritisch,Kernel-Power.evtx HWiNFO Log.LOG Zuverlässigkeitsanzeige.txt

Hey! A couple of days ago, while streaming on Twitch, my PC Blue screened a total of 3 times within an hour. I was playing some RPG Maker game at first, but then switched to Minecraft Legends. There was no sudden shut off's while just talking to my viewers or watching YouTube though, only while gaming. The error messages I had were: "MEMORY MANAGEMENT" "PAGE FAULT IN NONPAGED AREA" So, the next day I tried to find a solution. I enabled Automatic Manage Paging File Size, as I thought it could help and trying to update my drivers (I have the latest). I streamed As Dusk Falls that day and everything was fine. It happened again yesterday, while I was playing Stray for like an hour or two without the stream. I checked the reliability history and found out the error codes & parameters for the BSOD's. Here's an example: Nazwa zdarzenia problemu: LiveKernelEvent Kod: 144 Parametr 1: 3003 Parametr 2: ffff8580f328e6b0 Parametr 3: 40010000 Parametr 4: 0 Wersja systemu operacyjnego: 10_0_19045 Dodatek Service Pack: 0_0 Produkt: 768_1 Wersja systemu operacyjnego: 10.0.19045.2.0.0.768.101 Identyfikator ustawień regionalnych: 1045 (Sorry that it's in polish, but I don't want to butcher it with my translation skillz) Every one of the shutdowns is labeled as this LiveKernelEvent 144 3003. I did a MemTest, which has failed in these tests: Test 6 [Block move, 64-byte blocks] - 3/4 (75%) - 1646 Errors Test 7 [Moving inversions, 32-bit pattern] - 3/4 (75%) - 603 Errors Test 8 [Random number sequence] - 3/4 (75%) - 64 Errors Test 9 [Modulo 20, ones & zeros] - 3/4 (75%) - 1156 Errors I'll attach the full report and some screenshots too. My PC: AORUS B450 ELITE AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Gigabyte GTX 1660 6GB 32GB RAM G.Skill Aegis DDR4 3000Mhz (4x8GB)* ~Some notes~ I've recently replaced one pair of my older memory sticks through a warranty because the system wouldn't boot with one of them in. There was a short 3-beep beeping while booting and a diode responsible for RAM was glowing on the Motherboard.* I'm using an audio interface for my XLR mic, which doesn't reboot after the BSOD's. I heard from the most reliable Google source that it could be an USB Error, so I'm concerned for it. I've also got a Sony a5000 Camera plugged in through an HDMI Grabber connected all the time. Im not sure that i am on the right forum here. I havent ever posted any questions or issues on here. But I would like a little help from the community if possible cause i cant figure this out. So I was using an ryzen cpu and i upgraded to an intel 12700k with a msi z690-a motherboard. I have a 2080ti and have worked out most the kinks sense the change. Bios needed to be updated cause for some reason it was getting caught in a boot loop. Now the final issue im having is my computer is freezing. And the only information i can get from the error reports is. Problem signature Problem Event Name: LiveKernelEvent Code: 144 Parameter 1: 3003 Parameter 2: ffffec01737d05f0 Parameter 3: 40010000 Parameter 4: 0 OS version: 10_0_19044 Service Pack: 0_0 Product: 768_1 OS Version: 10.0.19044.2.0.0.768.101 Locale ID: 1033 It seems to be a driver or video card issue from everything i can find online. And i guess my question here is. Do i need to have both nvidia drivers as well as intel onboard graphics drivers installed for stable operation? Please help me out cause i havent slept in 2 days trying to figure this stuff out..

My laptop screen is 144Hz and have been using it smoothly for quite some time. However today out of the blue the bottom 1/5th of the screen turned black. When I changed the refresh rate for the display from windows settings to 60 Hz the display became visible albeit with some lines which slowly disappeared over time. However when I switch back to 144Hz it turns black again. I don't know what's causing this. I tried updating the AMD driver (integrated GPU for the display) but it didn't help.

So I've bought this monitor on black friday, it is an AOC Hero 27" 144Hz 1Ms - 27G2 /BK, from this last couple of weeks it has stared to show flickering, and a third of my screen just freeze and that suddenly started happening almost everyday. Something that temporarily fixed the flickering was setting my monitor refresh rate to 120Hz, I could work and game just fine, but not on what I expected as I bought this monitor. And a couple of days ago it started showing problems even on 120Hz via Display Port while I played. I have a two monitor setup, my second monitor it is a simple one, from many years ago and do just fine. I've tried disabling G-Sync, tried a clean install of graphics drivers with DDU and installed 466.27 GRD, and a couple of settings using CRU. I've also tested almost everything I could think of to eliminate my graphics card from the problem, and that was: Test my monitor connected to a laptop via HDMI - Nothing happend Test my monitor connected on other desktop with a GTX 980Ti via DP - Nothing happend Test my monitor connected on other desktop with a GTX 980Ti via HDMI - Nothing happend Test my monitor connected on other desktop with my RTX 2080S via DP - Nothing happend Test my monitor connected on other desktop with my RTX 2080S via HDMI - Nothing happend Test my monitor connected to my desktop via HDMI - Showed the same flickering My PC specs: • I7- 8700 • ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming 9 • 32gb Corsair Vengeance 2400mhz • EVGA 2080 Super Gaming • Corsair CX 750W 80 Plus Bronze • Water Cooler Corsair iCUE H100i PRO XT • SSD M.2 Adata SX6000 1TB • SSD M.2 Toshiba 256GB I'm currently using NVIDIA Control Panel default besides setting the power management to maximum performance

So lately I've been having this problem where I've noticed that my cursor hasn't been running as smooth as it should be, but only after the pc has been on for a while. Meaning that when I first boot my pc, my cursor is fine and everything is fine but as the day goes on, the motion of the cursor seems choppier or slower, as if I had a 60hz monitor (I don't). This only happens in the desktop though. My games seem to run fine at 144hz but whenever I pause the game or open chat and I can see the cursor, it goes back to being choppy or 60hz-like (even the game gets like that). Does anybody have any idea on what may be going on? I've also tried to go to testufo.com to see if everything was fine and running at 144hz but my browser wouldn't be able to sync and it wouldn't reach 144 fps. I also tried Web browser "VSYNC synchronization", display Hz, and input lag tester (vsynctester.com) but it also failed to sync. Lastly, everytime that starts to happen, I sometimes notice that my audio starts to get a little choppy as well, almost as if it was clipping or something. Can anyone help? My Specs are: 1700x GTX 1070 16gb 3200Mhz (2x8) b450m ds3h Asus vg248 (monitor)

So lately I've noticed that whenever I boot my computer everything is fine, but after some time, the cursor stops feeling "144hz-ish". Now, this is weird because in-game, nothing feels like that (except for the cursor). And that's in every game I play, they all feel like 144hz but the only thing that doesn't is the cursor. I've tried reconnecting my monitor, changing the refresh rate in both the windows options and in nvidia's control panel. For some additional info: I've also gone to testufo.com and it fails to vsync. same thing happens in Web browser "VSYNC synchronization", display Hz, and input lag tester (vsynctester.com)

Hello, I have been using an AMD FX-8350 for about 2 years and so far it has served me quite well. Recently, though, I've been streaming a little bit (mostly Rocket League) and the CPU struggles to keep the framerate acceptable (paired with a GTX 1070) at some points and causes some stuttering as well, since it's hitting 100% or close with OBS and RL open; it's even worse if I have Chrome as well. I don't really have a budget, just looking for the absolute best bang for the buck, in other words, not to overspend. My current specs: AMD FX-8350 MSI GTX 1070 8GBG.Skill RipjawsX 8 GB 2133 MHz120GB Kingston SSD2TB WD Black 7200rpm 1TB Samsung EVO 850Corsair 750WCoolerMaster Hyper 212

So, I was planning on making an upgrade to my room and improving my gaming setup a little. I was considering whether I should just buy 2 ultra wide 144hz monitors or 3 full hd 144hz monitors. The thing is that I'm going to be learning professional video editing and 2D and 3D modeling, so I really don't know what would bring a better professional and gaming experience and would be most affordable. Also, have in mind that I have an Nvidia video card, so I want to know if monitors that use FreeSync would make for a decent experience or if I would have to shell out more money to find a screen that's compatible with G-Sync. Keep in mind that I would not buy all the monitors at the same time, so I have to worry about whether the display I choose to be my main will be decent on its own. I'm currently using my 40" TV as a display through HDMI. I'm eager to see what DisplayPort is capable of. Thanks for the attention in advance.

Can a GTX 1050ti handle 144hz at 1080p? Battlefield, Overwatch, CSGO, Call of Duty, GTA V Tomb Raider, Watching Dogs Ryzen 5 1600 16GB 3000 GTX 1050ti

Hi guys, I just bought a 144hz monitor with free sync. If I had a Nvidia gpu, free sync would not work. What would 144hz be like without that. I know 144hz monitors sometimes do not have adaptive sync, free sync, and g sync. But is it bad. I know that the screen will tear when the fps is greater than the refresh rate. But, I thought that it would tear if the fps is lower than the monitor refresh rate too. Please explain these to me. Thanks.

Hi! I want a new monitor and decided to get my first 144 hz monitor. But I also don't want to break the bank. Is there anything good on amazon for U.S. citizens that is around $250? I don't really want to go much higher. These are the two monitors I'm currently looking at, but I'm accepting any new ideas. https://www.amazon.com/Acer-GN246HL-Bbid-24-Inch-Display/dp/B00KO4518I/ref=sr_1_2?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1481075320&sr=1-2&keywords=144+hz+monitor https://www.amazon.com/VG248QE-1920x1080-144Hz-Gaming-Monitor/dp/B00B2HH7G0/ref=sr_1_4?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1481075320&sr=1-4&keywords=144+hz+monitor Thanks!

I'm going to start this off quickly and say that I have a GTX 1070 on the way and my TN 59Hz monitor doesn't seem very fitting of it, imo. As such, I've been looking into 144hz monitors and looking up all types of stuff on Google and I've come out rather confused thanks to the huge variance in responses. I'll list my questions based on how important they are to me. 1) I mindlessly blew a lot of cash on the GTX 1070, so what's the best budget 144hz 1080p monitor? 2) Are G-Sync/Freesync really that important? Also, I heard somewhere that Nvidia cards work with Freesync, but I'm pretty sure that they don't, right? 3) Is Nvidia Lightboost actually good at reducing motion blur? 4) Do HD, FHD, and UHD really matter when I'm picking a budget monitor? 5) Should I really blow cash over IPS rather than TN? Thanks.

2 parter here. What is everyone's experiences with g-sync and higher end monitors? I am looking to get a monitor I can grown in to. Is it worth it to get G-Sync now? Are these 800 - 1300 Monitors worth it? I use to just get basic 1080p monitors Now I want to upgrade my main middle monitor to something nicer. I have some special needs beyond gaming. I am getting in to Photo editing and 3D modeling. So I want something with good color. I also have to be able to switch between my personal machine and my business laptop so 2 inputs are required. Needs 2 inputs 1440p resolution 100hz+ refresh rate IPS panel for color. VESA mountable. G-Sync? brand Model Size Refresh Rate G-Sync Resolution type Ratio Vesa USB3 inputs MSRP Acer Predator XB271HU 27" 165Hz Yes 2560x1440 IPS 16:9 yes 4 2 $ 999.00 ASUS PG279Q 27" 144Hz Yes 2560x1440 IPS 16:9 Yes 2 2 $ 899.00 ASUS PG348Q 34" 100Hz Yes 3440x1440 IPS 21:9 Yes 4 2 $ 1,299.00 Acer Predator X34 34" 100Hz Yes 3440x1440 IPS 21:9 yes 4 2 $ 1,300.00 I am leaning to the Asus ROG SWIFT PG279Q it is getting amazing reviews and it shows up for $50 to $75 less than MSRP on amazon and Micro Center a lot. is there anything else I should look at? 6700K I7, Z170, 32gb RAM, GTX 970

Basically the title, looking for a 144 hz monitor, 1080p, black / white (I've never seen a white monitor but that's okay), I would like to spend between 150-200$. Hoping that would be enough.

Do you guys think 4k is better or 144hz 1080p? Thinking about investing in a new one, I am leaning towards 4k but I keep hearing 144hz is really good too. Just wondering. The monitor will be used for gaming and watching movies/videos. Thanks

So over the Christmas season I have gained myself some money numbering £400~. I currently have a dating GPU and a very shitty monitor. I have narrowed myself down to a 3 options. 1) Get a GTX 1070 and upgrade monitor later 2)Get a really nice monitor and upgrade GPU later 3)Get a GTX 1060 and get a 144 hertz or 1440p monitor. I would very much appreciate the communities input. As a footnote, if you have any recommendations for monitors please add it to your reply

Hey guys so I currently have an AOC G2590FX and it is gsync compatible certified by nividia but for some reason on all games, whenever my fps is near 144hz I get some screen tearing. When I lock my FPS to say 60, the tearing goes away. It completely goes away at around 115fps. There is no screen tearing on borderless fullscreen but there is some laggines. Ive attached a video showing what it looks like. Look for it to the right of my character in this game. Video:

I am looking to buy a 144hz 1440p monitor for gaming and office stuff, I don't mind a TN Panel. Looking at the HP 27xq right now, I would get it for 308€ Experience with that monitor? Internet content on this one is pretty limited. If not any other recommendations? I am also thinking about getting a G-Sync verified one for my 2070. But I think that Freesync/the basic G-sync thingy could be sufficient.

Hey everyone, so I've been recently been trying to condense my gaming setup (which I also use for work and school) to one device for everything that I do. I am willing to pay decent bucks to achieve this. In my journey, I bought a Gigabyte Aero 15-x9 which has an i7-8750H and the new RTX 2070 max-q card in it, with a 144hz display. I paid nearly $2,500 for this device with taxes and all that, and I was hoping for it to be everything that I wanted. I've had nothing but issues. I do most of my gaming/work with two monitors, so I have a 60hz display at my desk that I connect my laptop to, often having a game on my main laptop screen and some work or something on the external display. Gaming is intolerable with this, the game just goes super choppy on me if anything is happening on the second display, and it's just a terrible experience. I've NEVER had this happen before, and I've built desktops, and I've had many laptops in the past. All I want to do is have gaming on the laptop screen and like a video or anything else on the second monitor without issues, just like I have with my desktop computer. I've looked all over the internet for solutions but many people just say "you can't have a 144hz display and a 60hz display with each other and expect things to run smoothly" and are basically saying to give up, even though my friend has the previous model of this with NO issues at all, and I've even set the display to 60hz while connected with no improvement. I've been trying to fix it for nearly three weeks now since I bought it, and even got a replacement because I thought it might be a hardware defect, but nope same issue on the replacement one. Even when a second monitor isn't connected, some games just randomly get choppy for no reason; it's very inconsistent and completely infuriating. I've had a desktop with an i3 and a 960 that ran games smoother than this. I've done everything from updating drivers to completely wiping the SSD and reinstalling fresh windows ISO, installing directly from NVIDIA or directly from Gigabyte, checking thermals, running bench testing software to check scores... I'm just pissed now because I don't know how to move forward. Basically, I'm down to the point of just returning this god forsaken thing and looking somewhere else, maybe into 60hz laptops with good GPUs because I think much of this issue stems from that, but I still don't understand why my friend among clearly everyone else who bought this laptop doesn't have this issue... Everything else about this device I like, so what would be a good alternative? I'm looking at Razer Blade 2019 (or 2018) because it's a similar sleek design and form factor with powerful computing, but I'm not sure if I should wait for other options to come out this year that may be more tempting. Any suggestions? I've also contacted Gigabyte directly and they just told me to update drivers after a week of emailing them so that just made me even more mad. If I didn't update my drivers already I wouldn't have been in that boat.

So I just purchased a 2080 and want to get a 1440p 144hz monitor to be able to take advantage of my card. I was mainly set on getting ASUS ROG PG279Q because it fit all my qualifications (27 inch or greater, 1440p, 144hz, not a TN panel (personal preference)). Then I came across the MSI Optix MAG271CQR, which seems to have all the same features as the ROG expect a curved monitor. I also checked out the MSI Optix MAG321CQR, which seems to be the same as the previous one except 32 inches not 27. I was wondering anyone's input on these three monitors. For the MSI monitors there doesn't seem to be many reviews on Newegg or Amazon, and for the few reviews I was able to find they were all about dead pixels. I know the ROG is a very reputable monitor for gamers. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

After 4,5 years of using a BenQ GL2450H Monitor (https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00HZF2M9U/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1), which is a 24", 2ms gtg, 60hz monitor i want to upgrade to something better. I would like to get a bigger screen (27") and switch to 144hz (even though i dont think most of my games will run higher than 80-100 fps with my gtx 980ti superclocked). I want to stay with 1920 x 1080 (fhd) cause i dont have the rig power to do better resolutions. My Question is, which monitor brand should i rely on, and which kind of panels (ips, va, tn) / (led / lcd). And if you have good suggestions for me, i would be very grateful. My Price range is about 200-300€. I will buy a desk mount so i dont care about things like pivot or beeing able to change it in height. I am interested in this one (https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07J37NY8X/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?smid=A3JWKAKR8XB7XF&psc=1), is it good?
