Budget (including currency): $700 Country: U.S Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Fortnite, Apex Legends, Minecraft, (Maybe Genshin), etc. Other details 1080p monitor Here's my parts list: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Creampuffs/saved/NGLYXL My budget is $700, and I'm mostly going to use it for some light gaming. I'm pretty satisfied with every part other than the GPU. Is my GPU good, or are there any you can recommend for $200 or cheaper? Also, I'm not sure if my PSU is trustworthy, so it would be nice for confirmation about it. Hello, I'm having trouble deciding what budget gaming laptop to get. I don't need anything high end but I want to have the capabilities to play Rust and a few other lighter games like minecraft and wolfQuest (my sisters are interested). My budget really only allows me to get upwards of $500-$700. I've already have found these with some light research of my own, but can't decide if I should jump in on either of these. Hi everyone my Chromebook stopped working this morning. I was looking for help finding a good, but cheap, laptop that can do game development as a replacement. I am currently a student so I don't have that much money. I am interested in game development so I am looking for a computer with a minimum of an i5 proccesor and like 8gb of ram. Any suggestions on a good laptop around 700 dollars? I was looking at the "MSI Katana GF66 11UC-453 15.6 Gaming Laptop" but I am not sure how good it is.

This is probably the most incredible budget gaming PC I have put together. I haven't actually built it, as I have no reason to (I have an i7-6700k + GTX 1070 rig). However, I was able to pull off putting a 525GB Crucial SSD, an RX 480 8GB, and an i5 processor in a $700 system. That's right...$700. How? Somebody decided to sell a used i5-3450s for $110 on Amazon. Yes, I did my research...the i5-3450s is still a decent gaming processor. Now, this incredibly-priced processor will soon go away, but the next level up is $140 for an unused i5-3450s that includes a CPU cooler. Take away the Hyper T2, and you end up with roughly the same price ($725). Anyway, enough hype. Here's the part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/MbFssJ

Sweet Stuff: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rGZzd6 I Decided That An AMD Build Would Be Best For Compatibility And Look [Red & Black]. This Rig Will Mainly Be Used To Play Mid To High End Games On Medium Settings. Grand Theft Auto V Borderlands Etc.

Hi, I was wondering what are some good monitors for gaming for under $700? I never really looked into monitors so i know practically nothing about them, so it would be some help if people explained or listed some monitors that are good for gaming. Thank You.

Hey all, I am looking for a laptop for around $700 Canadian. I have a pc so this would not be my main computer however I would still like it to be powerful enough. I am a 5th year (coop) software engineering student and will be graduating in April. The main reason I want a laptop is for programming and web browsing. This for me means I would like it to be powerful enough to run one or two virtual boxes and I also would like it to be easy to have it dual boot to Linux. If anymore info is needed I will be happy to provide it. Also as cyber Monday/black Friday are just around the corner if you have suggestion that are a higher priced but I could keep a look out for on those days then let me know!

I'm somewhat confident with my abilities to choose hardware, but when helping a friend I like to double check. http://pcpartpicker.com/list/FtRKcc That's the build I made. He has a bit more budget, but he doesn't really care much for graphics quality. I want to give him an easy upgrade path, so older mobos are kinda out of the question. What do you guys think?

Hello! I have a friend whose parents are divorced, and wants to get into PC gaming. He plans to game on his televisions (he has a desk as well as a television in each of his bedrooms) and he has a budget of $700. The goal of this build would be to be portable enough so that he could take it from one house to the other with relative ease, as well as fit into his budget. It isn't 700 for the computer, it is 700 for the computer, operating system, and peripherals (minus monitors). I have made a small list on pcpartpicker, but I could use some help on making it a little cheaper and maybe making it use a 1060 3GB mini instead of a 1050ti mini. Also, he needs to use a wireless network adapter, and there are no extra PCIE slots for one, so I have to use a USB. It is also using an 8th gen i3, the 8100. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/vd8PwV He plans to play PUBG, maybe GTA5, maybe the newest COD, and maybe Overwatch. All at 1080p or lower.

Hello! I have a friend that really wants to get into PC gaming, but he doesn't want to spend a lot of money. He would game on 1080p and below. His parents are divorced, so it would be good if it could be a mini build, that would be portable enough to take between houses every other week. This PC would also need a wifi card, and windows 10, as well as a headset, a mouse, a keyboard, and maybe a mousepad. He wants to play PUBG, the latest COD, and Overwatch. Can anyone help me get a build for him? I can use kinguin for windows 10.

Hello everyone! I'm looking to help my brother out build his first gamimg PC which can handle video rendering well and gaming very well. What's the best $700 build I can get for him? I perfer intel CPU's for this build. He also wants a Mid Tower case. If you have anymore questions please let me know!

After some research and watching tons of Linus' videos , I wanted to share a new build which in my opinion is a great deal you can get as in right now (August 2019). I went for an ALL-AMD build (Ryzen 5 2600 + Vega 56) but i also recommend the RTX 2060 for this build. In terms of gaming , it's capable of running most titles 1080p (as well as 1440p) high 60+fps.

Hello, I am just wondering if anyone can see any problems/improvements to this build my budget is around $700 and can't particularly move from that point. I believe that all of the parts which I have chosen will fit into the case and the fans will aswell. I would rather retain the mini ATX case due to the portability of it. the power supply is another worry of mine due to it being so close to the estimated wattage.IF you have any questions about the build or anything else I will attempt to answer back as soon as possible. PC PartPicker List Many thanks, Ryan.

Hello there... this is my first post here and totally my first build attempt (have been planning for a few weeks already though). After doing some reading here and there, from reddit to youtube to pcpp to tomshardware to linustechtip to userbenchmark, and other forums and reviews that I could find, well I decided to post now and stop lurking. (I am not techsavvy enough for indept understanding of the parts, just general knowledge.) On to the main point...—can anyone help me plan a complete mid-range, all-rounder PC (complete with Peripherals such as Monitors, Mouse and Keyboard) that could at least last some years (5 would do) or more, and open for upgrade potential. I would mostly use it on some light-mid gaming (GTA V, CS:GO, Battlefield 1, PUBG, Overwatch, etc...) at least on Mid-High setting and Ultra is a bonus since I dont really care about it. Then there's Photoshop, After Effects, Net surfing, Youtube and Facebook mostly, but I usually open lots of tabs (damn you wiki walk) I live in the PH and will be ordering online like Amazon and Newegg, and after currency convertion, my budget could stretch around 700-760 dollars, with color theme of choice was between neutral black, white, blue or red. Honestly, its more like 500$ build since id probably be using arounf 250 for OS and a 1080p Monitor below a hundred bucks. Like whats the point of getting a 1060 lvl gpu if I dont have a decent monitor...? So what I managed to get so far: PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant Type Item Price CPU AMD - Ryzen 3 2200G 3.5 GHz Quad-Core Processor $89.00 @ Amazon Motherboard Asus - PRIME B450M-A/CSM Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard $79.99 @ B&H Memory Team - Vulcan 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory $61.98 @ Newegg Storage Crucial - MX500 250 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive $42.99 @ Adorama Storage Western Digital - Caviar Blue 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive $44.85 @ OutletPC Video Card Sapphire - Radeon RX 570 4 GB NITRO+ Video Card $159.99 @ Newegg Case Phanteks - Eclipse P300 Tempered Glass (White) ATX Mid Tower Case $49.99 @ Newegg Power Supply Corsair - CX (2017) 550 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply $32.98 @ Newegg Operating System Microsoft - Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit $98.89 @ OutletPC Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total (before mail-in rebates) $700.66 Mail-in rebates -$40.00 Total $660.66 Generated by PCPartPicker 2018-12-14 19:02 EST-0500 Reasons for picking: (And I don't plan on overclocking, but want my options open) CPU - From what I've managed to understand, Intel processors are more tuned to gaming but more on the expensive side, when AMD Ryzen ones are more cheaper on the same quality with potentially more core/thread counts while all of them are unlocked for OC potential. I was aiming for a 2600 since it seemed to even rival old gen i7 non-clocked and keep up with i5 8400. But since my budget is thin for a midrange rig, I went for the R3 2200G (2400g was around the same price as 2600 at the time), just to have that back-up Vega 8 if my GPU goes cookoo. Or should I go for 1300x -1600? As for cpu coolers, stock wraith stealth seems to be good enough. Said to be as good as the 212 evo, or was that Spire? Not really problem, Its good enough for light OC, or so I read. Mobo - I was planning for an MSI B450 Mortar since its cheaper than the ATX Tomahawk with around the same features (MSI Arsenal series looks and sounds cool). And vaguely remember it has more fan headers (I will be air cooling for now), but they are sold out at the moment so I went for Asus B450 Prime since it's a reputable brand in quality. Not sure of Gigabyte or Asrock quality, but they look like the cheaper options. GPU - Same reason I have from my CPU, AMD Radeon are cheaper but just as effective (if not more) than their nvidia counterpart. The RX570 4GB seems to overtake a 1050ti by a wide margin while trading blows with the 1060 3gb. (RX 580 would be nice but its a hundred dollars more expensive for now) Or should I downgrade for a cheap one like a R9 or R7 265 and just make do on low-mid setting. RAM - I honestly wanted that 16GB G.Skill Trident Z RGB or the Corsair Vengence RGB Pro because I wanna pimp this rig up but reality slapped me and said "Bruh, focus.Yer on a budget." So I went for 8GB 2x4 for the dual-channel which was said to better than a single 1x8gb stick. I saw this T-Force Vulcan at $60 with a 3000mhz (which Ryzen seems to love higher speed) so why not? Or opt for 2400-2666 ones? And what is CAS? lower seems better at cost of price. Storage - This is where it got treaky, since SSD seems to be "a must" for mid range builds, and as a person who has been using old, clunky, grandpa-era tech HDD for all my life, I wont probably notice to the speed difference between an NVME and a regular SATA SSD. But NVME is expensive so that's out of the equation. Should I go for a 128gb ssd just for the OS and few essential apps like Adobe ones while the games are on a 1TB HDD. Or should I aim for modest 240-258gb with 1TB? Heck, go full 500gb SSD only is an option too. While for brands, cheapest reliable ones seems to be ADATA, Inland, PNY, Toshiba, and Kingston while Samsung and Crucial for a bit higher quality. For HDD its either Western Digital or Seagate. But Seagate has a 2TB for 10$ more than the 1TB WD. My worry is that some said SG doesnt seem to last compared to WD. PSU - 550w seems to be enough, while some 600 are cheap. Top pick was said to be either between Seasonic, EVGA, and Corsair. While 80+ Bronze to Gold was a bare minimum. As for type, it would be Semi-Full modular just to keep cable management clean. Case - As I am already spending this amount of money, I want it to at least look clean and classy. Something minimalistic or just maybe neutral looking mid tower. Wanted a Phantek 350x base on good reviews and their airflow. But they are currently 70 bucks, more expensive than the RAM. Then the sexy look on NZXT H500. Anything cheaper with a side panel that isn't plastic. Monitor - Acer SB220Q 21.5" FULL HD (1920 x 1080) IPS Monitor. Found this on Amazon. An IPS Monitor, 75hz with freesync at 89$? Not sure if thats true. But couldn't pass it up since I am going for an AMD build. Keyboard,Mouse & others - Is there enough money left at this point? Id probably end up buying plain A4 Tech KB/Mouse combo. But if there is something with rgb backlit. Cherry MX probably 2000-4000 dpi would probably be enough for a first time builder unless of course, there is some cheap combo out there. Aula Aurora looks good. And probably asking for much but can it even fit in some Corsair 2x ML120 fans and Cable Extention kits? Just to make it look more clean. So strech it as far as possible with Price to Performance in mind. Thanks You.

Budget (including currency): SEK 7000 (about 760 USD) Country: Sweden I want to use my computer for games, video editing and image editing. I want the best resolution and refresh rate possible. The programs / games I will have are: Overwatch, Apex, Minecraft, Starwars battlefront 2, many of the adobe programs and sonyvegas pro 17. I feel like it's time to upgrade my computer as it performs poorly in games, is a bit too slow and looks like a big box. I am not very knowledgeable about choosing computer parts so I would have appreciated if I had any help from you. I have talked to my friend and together we have come to the conclusion that I will basically need a brand new computer since my current one is based on DDR3. I want to use my computer for games, video editing and image editing. I want the best resolution and refresh rate possible. The programs / games I will have are: Overwatch, Apex, Minecraft, Starwars battlefront 2, many of the adobe programs and sonyvegas pro 17. It is important for me that I should be able to upgrade certain parts in the future, I also want it to look good and I want either RGB from the beginning or the opportunity to upgrade to it. I think I should keep my hard drive and add a smaller ssd, I also think the computer should use the Phanteks Eclipse P400A chassi or something similar and I would like to keep my PSU if there is any good way to hide the ugly cables. If any of you can and would like to, I would appreciate some suggestions on parts:-) I also wonder if you think I should wait for any new products before I buy. Hello, I'm possibly considering a another laptop, so let's say I had $750 dollars. What's the best laptop for around that budget? My idea was to consider the Asus Vivobook 15 https://www.asus.com/Laptops/ASUS-VivoBook-15-X512FL/, Do you have any ideas for a laptop for a $750 budget?

It's been a while since I built my PC (2 years in fact), and my friend has asked me to plan and build a $700 rig to replace his Mac. He wants to be able to play mainstream AAA titles, like BF1, Rainbow Six, PUBG, and Insurgency Sandstorm (when it comes out). Building is no problem, but I haven't really kept up with the budget market for the last two years, and am pretty unfamiliar with what's currently out there. This is what I have so far https://pcpartpicker.com/list/sddQcY I kept an extra chunk of money to pay for a good budget keyboard (suggestions appreciated), and a windows key from Kinguin or the like (don't sass me pls) Budget could probably be expanded by a max of $50, but staying fully under $700 would be appreciated

Hello guys, im planning build myself a pc This is my first built and Im from indonesia, so prices might a bit different So i need a gaming pc and gaming only, I plan gaming on at least 1080p with decent frame rate (at least 45fps) on at least medium settings (What i played : gta v, sims 4, dota2, war thunder, heroes and generals) Im not working with it in any ways And im not planning to OC it either I have budget about $700 excluding monitor, peripherals and os So i make this list https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Viaditya/saved/zm49WZ But after some research, they all said that i wont need powerful processor for gaming pc, so i altered my list https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Viaditya/saved/vzzHNG In my country they priced about the same(about 5$ more). Or i can swap zotac gtx 1060 6gb single fan with power color rx 580 4gb(but i think its mining edition, since it has only 1 port and only 3 month warranty) for exactly the same prices So what did you guys think? Which one should i buy? Did the pentium will hinder the 1060? Or maybe you guys have better list? Thanks alot for helping (Note: the themes is black and white if its not to much to ask)

$700 Budget! So I would like some suggestions on my custom PC I'm building. I am going with the Corsair 740 case (I will not settle for any other case) and a Corsair Hydro Series H100i Dual Rad I'm open to suggestions on that though. I already have a GPU so I won't be buying one. Same goes for Display, Keyboard, Mouse & Pad. I Would like to go with a ASUS ROG Motherboard but I'm open to any ideas there. I thought I'd go with a 500W PSU any ideas on that are appreciated. I'm thinking Broadwell or Skylake. My last laptop was a Lenovo Y50-Y70 4K I Liked it a lot never had a complaint, it was a Haswell. 16GB of RAM was a lot and I almost never used it all so I would be fine stepping down to 8GB. I was thinking about going with a 7200 RPM 3TB HDD SATA 6.0Gb/s ~ $60. I would like to stick with a quad core CPU but that probably won't happen right away so it can be a upgrade later. Oh and I only want to go with a dual rad, I simply don't want to air cool it. And I plan to upgrade this PC over time.

Hi. Can you help me out in picking the parts for a new gaming machine? My budget is $750. I really care about the looks. So, it would be nice if you can help me out with the lighting and other stuff like mouse and keyboard, in addition to the actual parts. Thanks!!

Hello everyone! I was recently browsing the "New Builds and Planning" sub-forum, and I have seen a lot of posts, respectively. What was weird is I saw that the majority of people were looking for budget PC builds, in the range of $600 to $1,000 US dollars. So that is where I got the idea for this. I have formed a list of PC parts to make a $720 Micro ATX blue and white Gaming PC. I have decided to post up all of the parts in this post because most of you are looking for PC's in that price range. So here it is! Sooooo, Hi Hey guys I'm a new guy that is new to building PCs. I know basic facts for like this GPU is better that GPU, but I need your help. I've been playing on a All-in-one computer from hp (parents bought for me 5 years ago) and I'm looking for a $700 dollar build that can be upgraded in the future. I have decided some ideas but if someone can give me a good reason in why to change it, I'll look into it. Below I will be posting a list of things I need or want in this PC. Budget: US$700 (well more of 670, depends if I can scrape more money) What I want: - Can run games like CSGO at over 150 fps (Yes, I'm a CS player). But I want to be able to play other games such as GTA V or any other TripleA title at a decent frame rate. - Nvidia GPU: I know if your going for a sort of budge build go for a AMD card. But to me I don't the like the current AMD cards. I rather have a Nvidia card that I can re-sell. The reason for that is that most people in my country would prefer Nvidia cards over AMD, and if I wanted to sell it for upgrading my comp I can get most of my money back. - I need wifi on it (kill me for using wifi). I know the argument that "Ethernet is better you scrub" but sadly right now my parents don't want that many wires around the house. - NO PERIPHERALS Sorry for a long post, hope you can help me, Thanks, Kurt
