Hello I bought Witcher 3 from mmoga.de after it was released a while ago. However it was a GOG code that included the preorder bonuses like wallpapers and music. Now my question is, how do I access all those extra things? Thanks

I have been having this problem since 2 days now. While playing the game, everything works fine, on ultra settings, with no overheating (max temp. 70). It has been working fine since the game as been released, and I have had no issues till recently. Nothing has changed on my PC since then. Now, while playing the game, my PC just restarts. There are no errors, no lags, no game hang, etc. It just restarts as if some one pressed the hard restart button. Once the PC restarts, I start the game, and as soon as my previous save loads, the PC restarts again. (It restarts as soon as I enter play mode, has no problems while its showing the cut-scene while loading the game). I have tried starting and loading the game for 7 times now, my PC restarts as soon as it loads, every single time. This happens only with Witcher 3 at the moment. It has rendered the game unplayable, as it restarts my PC immediately on starting to play. I do not think it is a hardware issue, as the game has been working flawlessly before the last 2 days. This PC restart problem is completely new, and pretty continuous in occurrence. I was thinking these sudden restarts might be because of the PSU, but I just got this PSU a month ago, and have been running Witcher 3 on it without any issues, till this happened. My System Info: CPU: i5 4690k Motherboard: MSI Z97 Gaming 5 (BIOS version 1.9) GPU: MSI GTX 970 (NVIDIA Drivers: 353.06) RAM: Kingston Hyper X 8GB RAM PSU: Cooler Master V550w Gold Class OS: Win 8.1 64 bit This is what I have tried so far to look into the issue, with no luck in solving the issue unfortunately. 1. Detached and re-attached all cables from my PSU to the PC components, to ensure they are properly attached. 2. Tried other games to see if the problem persists (other games work fine) 3. Did a fresh clean installation of nvidia drivers, latest version (353.06) 4. Did a fresh clean installation of older nvidia drivers (Witcher 3 Game Ready Drivers) 5. Uninstalled and reinstalled the game 6. Used registry cleaner to check registry for any errors etc, cleaned if there were errors 7. Used System Restore to restore to a time when it was normally working (which is 2 days ago) 8. Turned of cutscene ubersampling in game visuals.ini file 9. Uninstalled MSI Afterburner and Riva Tuner (I was just using these to monitor and for OSD, no overclocking etc.) 10. Tried running the game on varying settings - Low, Med, High etc. 11. Tried running the 1.04 patch version, in case the issue was with patch 1.05 Any help would be much appreciated. If any one has had a similar issue, any ideas, suggestions, please share here as well. Thanks a lot.

This is almost the same build as before but with a few changes and i was wondering if i did the right choice and i know i could do the all in one liquid CPU cooler but i went with this instead i don't plan to oc right away as i know my build can support games like Witcher 3 and gta 5 just fine with out it if i do OC i will invest in a new cooler. I also wanna say thanks to the others who helped with the last build my budget for this about 1500 i don't really wanna go over and ive already purchased some of the components as you will see on PC part picker so please take a look and tell me what u think. I also would like to stream with this PC to that's another reason i went kinda crazy with it. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/GxTvQ7

Hey fellow dudes. I have two 980's in my right now. When I play the Witcher 3 (and only the witcher 3) only one card seems to spin. Not really sure why. If I play GTA V or even FFXIX they both spin. Any ideas? Is it because only one card is taking the full load?

I can't help and spoiling the story, because it's a story line mission. so... (spoilers) I'm in Skelliga, Ard Skellig. This mission is to track something at this one ruins after I fought some creatures at the magical event site. Where there's a warewolf like creature behind the gate and me and Yennefer entered the ruins. After this one talking scene (regardless of what I chose as a dialogue option) Either will hard crash or somehow make the game playable if one image stays the same, when I tried to lower the graphics (it sort of seems to work, gonna try it one more time and post an edit) (spoilers) the one time it hard crashed it said some DVI driver crash or something I couldn't get a good look at it before it disappeared when I moved my cursor over it (GPU is a EVGA SSC GTX 960 non-overclocked, and my monitor only two inputs are a DVI or D-Sub so I had to use a DVI cable). EDIT Logs: Edit 1.1v: it looked like lowering the graphics helped. Guessing it was all the leaves. Edit 1.2v: Since this was a pointless post (sorry), How's everyone Enjoying the game

Hi everyone, I hope I'm posting this in the correct section but if I'm not I apologize. So last night I overclocked both of my GTX 780's and have them synced together to run the same clock speed and memory speed in SLI. Well last night I got my core clock to about +130 and my memory to about +300 and my benchmarks ran great, no artifacts or anything and The Witcher 3 played fine on it last night. Well this morning I went to go play Witcher 3 again with the same exact overclock settings, and my game kept freezing, or the NVIDIA drivers would crash. I had to keep lowering my settings until it was stable again and I ended up having to put the core clock down to +90 and the memory to 0! Can anyone tell me why this may have happened? I don't get why one day it was working, then the next day it just wasn't having it. Thanks in advance for anyone who replies! ~Reanna

As you've probably heard, the color pallet for Witcher 3 was changed to a more vibrant yet unrealistic tone. The color changes seem to be one of the most notable changes in the downgrade. However, I found the best reshade mod that restores the game very close to it's promo colors. Wood planks no longer look orange and look greyish-brown like they originally did. Foliage doesn't look peachy and bright, it's a realistic color. Hair doesn't look like a flashlight in dark rooms, it actually seems shaded correctly. http://cl.ly/1b1i2E3R3F2c Check out benchmarks here: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/369625-witcher-3-benchmarks-day-1-patch/

According to a Arstechnica post( http://arstechnica.co.uk/gaming/2015/05/amd-says-nvidias-gameworks-completely-sabotaged-witcher-3-performance/ ) The Perfomance of the Witcher 3: Wild hunt is very much crippled due to the fact that AMD cards can't run Hairworks properly because the technology source code is unavailable to them AMD. This does not only cause the witcher 3 to run better on nvidia cards but also give nvidia an unfair advantage, me not owning an nvidia card went on the web and found that performance does actually differ quite between AMD and Nvidia. Not only HairWorks is crippling but also GameWorks itself. as many project cars fans who owned amd cards where dissapointed because of the very, very, very poor performance of the game and many seek to blame AMD even though AMD was not the culprit because it whas Nvidia's GameWorks Project cars was build with in Gameworks which is technology which is exclusive to Nvidia meaning that AMD cannot acces the code and thus not optimize it's drivers for it which means that there is a lot of unnecessary processing happening which intern led to worse performance. The team behind Project cars knew this but still opped to hop on the Nvidia bandwagon and optimize for Nvidia only. again I feel this is very uncompetetive like the Intel compiler lawsuit.

http://arstechnica.co.uk/gaming/2015/05/amd-says-nvidias-gameworks-completely-sabotaged-witcher-3-performance/ "I asked AMD's chief gaming scientist Richard Huddy, a vocal critic of Nvidia's GameWorks technology, about AMD's involvement with CD Projekt Red, and the support it had reportedly failed to provide to the developer: "That's an unfortunate view, but that doesn't follow from what we're seeing," said Huddy. "We've been working with CD Projeckt Red from the beginning. We've been giving them detailed feedback all the way through. Around two months before release, or thereabouts, the GameWorks code arrived with HairWorks, and it completely sabotaged our performance as far as we're concerned. We were running well before that...it's wrecked our performance, almost as if it was put in to achieve that goal.""

So I saw a german benchmark a while ago where a single titan x would struggle so hard to drive the game at 1080p/60fps So I found this one which is more detailed and in english for non-german speaking people But man this is super demanding if you need a single 980 for 1080p ultra 60 fps .....

So this was accidentally discovered if someone already made a tutorial or something of lines how to do it tell me so this post can be removed... Anyway I really wanted to unlock the Master Blacksmith in Novigrad. But the quest level was to high... I went for the lolz and tryed to complete it and I did!! At first I thought this is impossible because the bandits who attack you after you make a deal with "tinman" are to strong and they one shot me with the bow or with the axe. But then I noticed that the guy who I made the deal with is aattacking them, killing them and he is not dying so I dodged ran around them for like 10min and the guy really killed them all!! I was so excited and went on. The second "fight" wasn't really a fight you just need to go on this boat and destroy the barrels with "Aard" and then just run from them. The third fight was the longest and hardest for me.You really need to run all over the place and somehow lure the enemy into your ally...Surely and slowly for like 15-20min the bad guys were dead and I alive!! The Master Blacksmith was unlocked and he made me a Relic sword. Note: Please Save the game after dialogues and save some frustration and time! And yes you can be any level! Here are some pictures of the sword and to show I completed the quest
