In Microsoft TouchKeyboard you can simply hold down the 'u' then get more options for more available varieties of the 'u' alphabets Is there anyway to make this feature available on my normal keyboard input? I am not looking to switching to German keyboard input all the time or using ALT code because my keyboard doesn't have keypad.

Tech Support okay so I have a 100mb/s fiber plan from my local ISP; everything seems fine, my downloads are fine, and uploads are the same story with ±90mb/s average speed. testmynet results. But whenever I stream on my laptop (firefox), whatever I'm watching seems to always buffer every 2-3mins. what I have tried different browser (chrome) still buffers same with opera different device Consoles are fine Phone is fine Desktop is fine change wifi channel with no avail tested my signal, even if I'm right beside my router still buffers tried to use VPN(proton), and to my surprise even with lower speed ±50mb/s, videos load faster and I experience minimal to no buffers. I'm stumped and don't know what to do, please help.

I've recently bought a new PC. I have a Ryzen 5 3600 and was planning to get a B550 motherboard but the store only has B450M-Pro II available so I didn't really have a choice. After I assembled the PC, I've plugged in my bootable USB drive to start installing Windows 10; I got the error "Unsupported Processor" BSoD error right after Windows pops up for the initial installation. I thought that it might just need a BIOS update. I've updated the BIOS to the latest version but still got the same error and thought, that's strange, the website indicates that the motherboard does support the CPU and I have already updated the BIOS to the latest version. I've tried reinstalling the bootable drive using media creation tool and creating bootable USB using rufus but still got the same error. I've already tried resetting the BIOS to it's default settings, reseated the CMOS battery, swapped the RAM slots, tried installing Windows 11 but I still keep getting the same error. tried installing using just 1 ram stick still the same error. I've ran out of ideas already and I don't know what to do anymore. I was able to successfully install Linux Mint without any issues. Do I need to change something from the BIOS settings for me to install Windows OS? *I've also tried changing some BIOS settings like changing the TPM versions and still got the same error. also tried using a different USB drive for the installer but still the same issue Below are the specs of my PC: CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 GPU: gtx 1650 super Mobo: B450M-PRO II RAM: 2x 8GB 2666 MHz Storage: M.2 240GB transcend PSU: 600 W

I want to be able to set a "Screen Saver Presentation" to see a different one when the screensaver activates, there's no option for that natively as far as I see. Perhaps there's some free software out there where that I can select as my screensaver, and it will select the others to display. Please tell me of anything like that. Second Question. Here's a list of Screensavers, you probably recognize some of those names, I downloaded some .scr screensaver files And while I can click "Install" to preview them, the next time I open the "Change Screensaver" windows, they are gone How do I make them stay? I tried opening W. Explorer as Admin to make the instalation, but that's not enough. See, if I select a different one, all the .scr screensavers disappear from the list, what can I do to keep them there?

Hey! Lately my laptop (Lenovo Ideapad 5-15ITL05) is crushing due to bluescreen (KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE). So, I decided to clean install windows 10 and updating everything (drivers, BIOS, etc). But no luck. I ran Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool which after few seconds stated "Hardware problems were detected". I came across MemTest86 and decided to run it - which also failed: I'm more of a software guy but looking at these results it seems to be a RAM issue. Can someone please confirm that to me? Could it be something else? Thanks! Specs:

SO. I have tested every single nook and cranny of this WRETCHED computer. Firstly, some background! Computer was bought in Hong Kong, warranty has already been done on it once in Hong Kong from improper display connectors, around the end of May I left Hong Kong as a result of the aftermath of the Hong Kong protests, it wasn't safe for people like me so I left to Ecuador. Months pass and I have thermal issues and it never got fixed because I never knew how to open this computer without killing it, the only computer I ever opened was a old Acer V Nitro that had a GTX 950M. Which was when I noticed issues, crashes always relating to ntoskrnl.exe and with errors like "Kmode Exception Not Handled" or "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" or "SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION" or "Attempted execute of noexecute memory" or "IRQL GT ZERO AT SYSTEM SERVICE" or "INTERRUPT EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED". So after I added new thermal paste, cleaned the dust on every corner you can think of including it's nether regions. I thought it was fixed. BUT NOPE IT STILL CONTINUED THIS HELL FOR ME. So I formatted the main drive 4 TIMES and reinstalled Windows 10 4 TIMES, it didn't help. I tested each RAM stick in each socket 10 TIMES (I used Memtest86) then I tested the motherboard with Lenovo Diagnostics tool 1000 times (I am not joking). I even tested the video card driver and processor around 10-20 TIMES. I have scanned the computer with 10 different anti-viruses, Windows Defender, Malwarebytes, Hitman Pro, Norton, McAfee, IOBit Malware Fighter, AVG, Avira, Bitdefender and finally Panda Security and with Anti-Virus I did a full scan 10 TIMES WITH EACH ANTI-VIRUS. I even downloaded various tools to help check what was wrong, after doing DISM and SFC of course. I tried using IOBit Smart Defrag, BleachBit, CCleaner, IOBit System Care and none of them worked. Even after clearing various junk, left over system junk and broken registry files, nothing helped. I even installed older versions for the video card like 496.13 and 511.09 and that didn't help, even after clean installing, uninstalling, clean installing again etc. So far the only thing that the people at Lenovo and Microsoft are telling me the exact same thing: sacrifice an arm and leg to send your laptop to the Lenovo Centre in USA and to trust a random stranger with the return address to send it back to you from there. So I am asking you people, the LTT community, what can I do at this rate to fix this hunk of Made In China garbage so I don't have to risk getting the computer stolen in USA because I have 0 relatives there. Edit 5/29/2022: Added Specs from the replies, additional note: this all started after Lenovo Support asked me to update my BIOS. So I flashed back 3 different bios versions but it didn't help, using latest BIOS version again. Edit 5/30/2022: Reinstalled windows a 5th time and reformatted drive, everything seems to be fine for now, my suspicion is that nvidia geforce is not compatible with my computer model and they just passed it off as is. Stay tuned. Edit 5/30/2022 (2): Computer randomly turns off and restarts, no crash dumps are being shown on BlueScreenView or manually finding crash dumps. Added Installed Programs Edit 5/30/2022 (3): Computer finally had a BlueScreen, crash dump available here: https://www.swisstransfer.com/d/2ef966a5-ca64-4a76-95f3-4418b2305d40 Edit 5/30/2022 (4): Second BlueScreen, crash dump available here: https://www.upload.ee/files/14186117/Crashes.7z.html Edit 5/30/2022 (5): Third BlueScreen, crash dump available here: https://files.im/3b8rj3n3m7ic Edit 5/30/2022 (6): Fourth BlueScreen, crash dump available here: https://www.sendspace.com/file/wbqbth Edit 5/31/2022 (7): 4 BlueScreens since last reinstall of Windows, crash dump available here: https://www61.zippyshare.com/v/QAczsuoe/file.html Specs:

Now this is a weird one, I have no clue if they're related, but they both happened after coming home to my PC being off when I had left it on. First off has to do with my audio. I have a Scarlett 2i2 1st Gen with an XLR mic, and after turning my computer back on I have no input audio anywhere. Discord and FL Studio both show my 2i2 as an input device, but no audio is picked up by either program even though I can hear myself through the direct monitoring. I can also hear all PC audio through the interface's output. Switching my mic to the second channel does not fix the problem, and reinstalling the drivers also did nothing. The second problem also appeared at the same time. Windows notification tab/action center will not open, even if I have unread notifications. I have tried all of the solutions here, and none of them changed anything. I also installed the latest Windows feature update and that didn't change anything. I have no clue where else to go short of reinstalling Windows, but I want to go through all my options before dealing with that.

Hi all, I am setting up a Truenas server with Windows SMB shares. I'm a bit of a noob on this but have followed guides to get the volumes, datasets and shares working. I have accessed my windows share from my Windows 11 laptop just as expected including copying and accessing files on the share but when using the same credentials from my Windows 10 desktop it gives me the invalid network credentials error "the username or password is incorrect". I have followed several troubleshooting guides for these including making the networks on both machines set to private and I backed up the network credentials from my W11 and restored them to the W10 to make sure I was not mistyping. I have tried mapping the drive, accessing through explorer address bar and the network section on the bottom left in file explorer. I then changed my Freenas user account password and relogged in on W11 but again W10 gives error. I have created a new user account on my W10 and that gives me the same error, also I tried a PCIE NIC in my pc and assigning it a new IP address on my network, still no dice. Any thoughts or things I can check? Not sure if I am allowed to post this but seems similar to this post: https://www.truenas.com/community/threads/cannot-connect-to-smb-shares-with-windows-10-client.57454/ Many thanks

Hello everyone, I previously had another topic opened specifically about the G70A coloring issues, as I thought the issue was directly related to the monitor. However, I requested an exchange for the monitor because I had tried everything I could think of but the issue persisted. The specific issues was with Windows system text having coloring and aberration issues when using the display in any setting above 120 hertz in 4K on my horizontal monitor. The weird issue was that the vertical monitor had no troubles when running at 4K 120 hertz. Not thinking orientation would cause this, I thought it would be an issue with the monitor. I then decided to flip the monitors (vertical to horizontal and horizontal to vertical). When I noticed that the issue was only on the horizontal monitor like before, I was curious and switched the monitor orientation to be vertical for both in Windows; to my surprise, neither monitor had any text or coloring issues. This seems like a strange issue to have. I'm running the latest Windows 10 OS version, NVIDIA drivers, and every other driver. My computer is running a Ryzen 7 with a GTX 1080 graphics card. I was planning to build a new computer soon, but due to to the largely inflated prices right now, I was hoping to hold off for a little longer. But, this issue is quite noticeable and is very bothersome when I work with text, as you can imagine, especially when I program. I would appreciate any guidance on what to try to resolve this issue or if a new GPU would most likely fix this issue (for instance, I was planning to purchase a RTX 3080 Ti, but stock is limited). I apologize in advance for the poor quality reference images - but I hope the text yellowing and aberration is somewhat visible on the horizontal example image. As another note, I tried to tune ClearType but had no success.

So I've been setting up a new network in my house and started dabbling into Remote Desktop Connections. Just for fun I decided to start up a game on the computer that I was remoting too (Doom Eternals) and it was super laggy is there any way that I could make it faster? (Via: 1000000000GB ethernet cards and networking cables and or Routers with EPYC CPU(s) just what would it take to game on a computer in the other room with a RDC or something similar?)

Hello! I was trying to buy a cheap windows tablet for school with my savings and the tablet I bought apparently hasn’t been reset so I factory reset it. Everything was going well until I reach an American megatrends page to reset the TPM and I said yes since I wanted to wipe everything from the tablet but after that it asked “ enter the recovery key to get going again” I didn’t have any key so I chose “skip this drive” and it brought me to another page saying something around the lines of “the reset didn’t happen and all of the files and stuff are in touched I have to reset the tablet again if I want to reset it” and then it rebooted and I just waited maybe it will go back to windows so I can reset again but I was wrong it just kept rebooting and rebooting it would show the brand logo and shut off then after a few seconds show the brand logo again it doesn’t even begin to boot With the turning dots thingy yeah it doesn’t even do that. It just shows the brand logo and shuts off and turn on again and now it’s just stuck like that and I haven’t even gotten able to use it yet can someone please help me? thank you ps: I can access the bios but that’s about it.

I am trying to install windows 10 on this laptop, and when I boot from USB I get the windows logo for about 10 seconds then I get the scrambled screen shown in the picture. I tried all the boot configurations possible. When I use UEFI boot, the laptop does not detect any bootable media, I use legacy, the laptop detects everything, then this happens. This happens with both windows 10 and 11 with GPT and MBR options. Only windows 7 in legacy mode booted fine and installed with no problems. I took the HDD out and attached it to another laptop, I was able to install windows 10 that way, but when I put it back in the HP laptop and tried to turn it on normally, the same issue happened again. I guess it is related to this laptop having something against UEFI boot in general, I don't know what to think anymore. HAALP

Hello,I just got a new HDD 1Tb drive and I'm trying to install fresh new windows 10 64bit(I know my CPU supports 64bit) and I've been trying to set up the bios to boot from the usb and so far everything that I have changed from the bios hasn't helped me so far.since my motherboard Is an old s-series gigabyte motherboard it has this very old bios menu that I can't seem to find in any of the video guides about windows 10 installation.

So I built my first everything worked fine until I went to install windows 10 nothing but problem after problem I’ve tried and asked on every forum I can find/think of and haven’t sorted it after working on it for close to a week now. te problem itself is I get an error message as I’m installing windows 10 which states “Windows could not prepare the computer to boot into the next phase of the installation. To instal windows restart the installation.” things I’ve tried remaking the bootable usb twice using every usb slot buying a bootable usb from a pc shop downloading the correct drivers as this was a problem at one point. any help would be extremely appreciated as at this point I’m out of ideas and have a unusable pc that I was super excited to use.

This is my first post here so sorry if I'm doing this wrong but I need some assistance on this one. So I have a HP laptop that came with windows 10 and after a while I decided to upgrade to windows 11 and now it says theirs a system config error and won't boot. The strange thing is that when I tried to do a reset it decided my ssd was bit locked and if I try to use a windows 10 flashdrive to install on It it won't read the ssd. Out of curiosity I put a different known good ssd inside the laptop and then it said that it couldn't find a ssd and won't boot. Dose anyone know why this is? if I put the install a new windows 10 on the old ssd will it say that it can't find the ssd? Did windows Bit lock my whole laptop? Did windows 11 cause the ssd reader to read only the original ssd? Again, first time posting so sorry if this is wired. This is kinda an open ended question here but, dose anyone have any ideas on what caused this or if id be okay with wiping my old drive to get it to work again? Or why it wouldn't read a different ssd at all?

So I've been having a lot of issues with my secondary PC, as mentioned here. I decided to go ahead and just start fresh with a clean Windows 10 install. I've formatted the ssd multiple times now so nothing is on it at all. I created a bootable USB using Rufus and have attempted to install windows. I get to the "Installing Features" or "Installing Updates" section, then I get a BSOD of System_Service_Exception specifically pointing at win32kbase.sys. I'm at a loss of what to do and any info would help a ton. Thank you!

I bought a new ssd, installed windows on it, and reformatted my old hard drive. My pc won't boot now, even tho it recognises both of my storage units. Boot Priority and menu are both empty. I could use a lot of help!!
