Moniter: Acer Nitro Gaming VG271U Pbmiipx 27" I am using a display port for connection. I bought the monitor a year ago. the cable is only 3 months old. Had the GPU for 4 months. I have been having "spotted" outages. (ex: while playing games or videos, the display seems to lose several pixels. usually in areas like a tear or streaks. possibly even a full black screen.) They happen just fast enough for my eyes to notice, but not really get a clear picture of what happened. Today I had lost signal completely. Resetting the Monitor had no results, unplugging and replugging the cable didnt fix it either. When removing the cable from the GPU while attached the monitor it said no cable. When I do a PC restart without touching anything inside. The display works again and My PC had no errors reported. Even with a hard reset it doesnt boot into repair either. The issue happens when not under load as well as when being used. but never just sitting at desktop with only backround processes running. Below is the DxDiag taken right after startup after failure. When gaming CPU temps: 40-50c, CPU usage:10-30% (depends if Im running the server), GPU temps: 65-78c (fans always 100%) When idle or netflix etc, CPU temps: 30c usage: 5-10%, Gpu Temps:25c The average temp of all other sensors is 27-32c except chipset, that is 50-58c. My EVGA sc GTX 650 ti boost is overheating i had this card for 3 years. i changed thermopaste. On GPU intensive games my card goes up to 82c or more. I have: i5 - 3470 650 watt power supply some asus motherboard 8gb of kingston ddr3.

Looking forward to be part of the virtual community (onsite communities are not currently really an option anyway) and hopefully be able to help in the near future the way i am asking for some advise now. In lights of the stuff going around and the expected stagnation in the market (of all areas and not just parts) in the next months (if not even years), I want to pull the trigger on some tower updates. My current config: CPU: FX-8350 with Cooler Master MasterLiquid 240 GPU: ASUS STRIX-GTX970-DC2OC-4GD5 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 4GB Kingston Technology HyperX FURY Blue 16GB 1866MHz DDR3 MB is Asus M5A97 Pro Case (cooling): beQuiet Base 800 with 2 front fans and currently the back one is disconnected, due to not enough fan headers on the MB and no cable splitter (but i have the 2 fans on the AIO now, which were not there before). PSU:Corsair CS750M (pretty much should be able to feed any GPU even with the 2 SSDs and 1 HDD in the box) I have 2 Samsung s22C650 monitors and am potentially looking to get a 1440p monitor with 100 Hz or more, but probably not more than 144Hz (overclockable to 165Hz?), so i want around 100 FPS on most games. Currently playing Shadow of the Tomb Rider, Watch Dogs, X-COM and and 2 (the new oens) and more. Future plans: Cyberpunk, Doom Eternal and more and i want them at the about 100 FPS if possible. Even if not now, then with the next upgrade, which should not involve a GPU if i do the one now. The rest I think is not relevant for my question, which is: What would be the best GPU I can put in this config without bottlenecking it by the other components? I am reluctant of going full blown GPU, MB, CPU, memory upgrade (no option for e.g. CPU only as it is AM3+ socket or memory only because of DDR3 vs DDR4, which leads to MB as well) Even if I go overboard and get a 2080Ti to future proof (I am not saying I want to do this) will this cause more issues in the long run or it will just be quite underutilized, but otherwise no problem? Idially i could go for something overthetop and then get the other parts upgraded later on. I have watched a ton of videos on the LTT channel and others, but the information is too much to process in a short period of time and the choice is too wide. For parts availability I need to be looking at this site (I know it is in Dutch, but i think google translating sites works quite well with this one; I am not native Dutch speaker either). TOO MUCH CHOICES ARE ALSO A BAD THING! Additional budget info: I was looking at this laptop instead of a tower update, but i think i can update the tower for half that money and i am worried about the thermals of the laptop. So I would prefer 1100 Euro tops (please consider EU prices are in some cases MUCH higher than in the US), but the lower from ithis number the better. I hope I did not overdo it with the provided information, but wanted to make sure whoever has some from the top of their mind opinion has most of the factors i am toying around. Hi, The last 2 months i have green lines/borders in gta. It's only in gta i know so far and it is like the first 15-60 minutes i play. After that it won't come back, until i restart up gta or my pc again than it's back. Does anybody now what the problem is? Thx

Ok so I just built a new pc. It posts without the gpu, but with the gpu the motherboard just flashes once and that’s it. I want to hope the gpu isn’t dead, as it worked perfect before I pulled it from the old rig. Any ideas? I already tried it in the secondary pcie slot and tried changing psu’s. My question is, can these two different cards run at the same time in this system? I’m not particularly interested in SLI or crossfire since either card has plenty of memory in addition to my system memory. I would just like to have the option of configuring NVIDIA surround Physx to blend the image across the three screens if I want to at some point.

So, I was hoping that someone with more insight could answer this. Why are Graphics cards only sold as full units? I have 2 reasons for this question: 1. If the end user is going to remove the stock cooler and add a watercooler on, then you could grab cards out of your normal production line before they get a cooler added and sell them for basically the same price. You would be decreasing your costs (don't have to buy a cooler for it) and therefore increase your profit, and you'd end up making the water cooling easier on the enthusiast, by supplying a naked pcb. 2. Because the Graphics card is basically a mini-computer in its own right. Why can't we get a board that can receive a GPU and video RAM like a MB receives RAM and a CPU? There seems to be an under served market for Graphics card customizations. For example, maybe your GPU has plenty of CUs but you need more VRAM. Right now you have to do a whole new card, which is more expensive than a couple sticks of VRAM. It just seems like this is something that should exist, so why doesn't it?

Hi, specs i7 9700k asus z390 asus strix 5700xt LG 34uc79 Ultrawide over display port. 8x2 DDR4 PSU: SEASONIC FOUCS GOLD 650W I get frequent display shut off with "no signal - Entering power saving mode", the PC seems to be still running with GPU fans spinning...etxc, but the screen is off. I tried: High performance mode multiple outputs from the video card default settings in bios no OC ram test by windows multiple games multiple radeon drivers updated the card bios! all temps are normal. what couls be the case?

So i flashed my gpu ( 5700 ) 2 days ago, it got bricked, so i flashed it back and it worked perfectly. The day after i turned on the computer thinking it would work but it didnt, I tried re sloting it, i tried putting the psu cables back on to it, i tried a different slot on the mobo, i tried with 1 stick of ram and resloting the ram, clearing the cmos but nothing worked The gpu isnt even a week old and its dead, again it was flashed but than flashed back to its original BIOS. So it Should have its OG bios on it. Please help!

Can an overclock to your gpu cause the computer to restart? When i tried raising my core clock from 150 to 160 on my gtx 1080ti it caused the system to crash and restart when benchmarking. Is this a normal response from a instable overclock? This has never happened to me before, so im worried it could be my psu maybe from not being able to power my system? Its a 650watt thermaltake.

I7-3770 on a z77-extreme 4 with 4x4 GB ram, RX 580 8 GB; 2 HDDs, 2 SSDs, a 550W 80Plus gold PSU. 1080p 144Hz Recently been playing WoW Classic and Warframe but want to get into some Assasins's Creed, Witcher 3, recent FarCry's. Got an offer from a friend to buy his Vega 64 for 210 Euro. Got really excited only to figure out that it was too large for my case. Bought a CM H500 and then found out this card draws 290 W of power :(. At this point I've overstretched my budged once by buying the case. What should i do next? a) forget about upgrading - the CPU and GPU match pretty well so raise some money for an entire new build in 1-2 years. b) wait for Black Friday, maybe 5700XT prices come down enough (~480 Euro at the moment.) c) stretch budget again - buy a 750 W PSU (is this enough?) and then buy the Vega card d) other (please advise)

Ones while i was playing f1 2019, my screen turned to black. i did deleted afterburner and deleted the profile and did all the troubleshooting i could find on youtube/internet. It still doesn't work. it is a rx 570 and i have it for about a month, so it can't be broken already, the overclock also wasn't that hard. please can someone help?

I had a budget of around $350 and I pretty much settled on a 1660 Ti. I play PC games on my TV and generally run at the highest resolution I can while getting a decent frame rate. While looking around today I found a original 2060 on sale for $420. It's a bit higher then my budget but I think I can swing it if it's actually worth it. I know each card comes with a lot of different models from a lot of different providers, but I'm never sure which ones are good and which ones aren't. So I have no idea if this card is any good at all. Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2060 If someone could let me know if that's a good deal or even a good card. Should just stick with a 1660 Ti. Also, if I do stick with a 1660 Ti, which model should I got for? I hear people recommending certain third parties and then other saying get the lowest price because the highest tier cards aren't really worth the extra price. Thanks! Edit: All prices in. Hi my evga 1080 ti icx power limit wont go past 100% I could move the slider to 120 in afterburner but it doesn't register in hwmonitor it stays at 100 and my benchmark score doesn't raise either. Is the bios on this particular card have a locked power limit?

I recieved a custom build PC about a year ago. It looks like video card is going to need to be replaced (this wasn't part of the build, I had this already). Unfortunately it looks like the power supply they used isn't as good as I hoped. They used a EVGA 500 W1. I had just started looking at maybe a 1660Ti, GTX 2060 or maybe a 5700. I usually game at 1440p and up depending on the game. I like to aim for 60 fps.

When I boot my pc, windows forces me to have an on-board graphics, I tried to find an option on bios where you can pick your primary display, but unfortunately it doesn't have that feature, I also tried updating the video card using AMD software and it also doesn't detect my Video Card. I am pretty sure that power, wirings and watts are not the cause, I also tried to plug out and plug in my videocard several times but still no results. Recently I have had trouble running certain steam games. Everything worked fine up until a few weeks ago's. Now certain games either crash, have no sounds or just don't work probably. Games like Lego Marvel 2 just freezes on the first screen and don't work. Surviving Mars doesn't have any sound and it seems to be really unstable and will crash if I load a game or anything. Some games seem to work fine. I did completely uninstall the old graphics drivers (in safe mode) and install the most current ones. The only thing I noticed was after I install the new drivers the screen turned green until I restarted the computer. I tried using my onboard graphics and Surviving Mars seemed to run fine. The Lego sort of seemed to work but I had to change my game resolution to match my native or it would freeze again. Would there maybe be an issues with graphics card? I'm currently using a Radeon RX 480. Again when I switch from my onboard video to my graphics card, the screen turned green until I restarted the computer. Thanks for all your help, this has been really frustrating.

I have a problem with my pc, the 5 short beeps, i look on the internet and found something , i started to remove any usb device and nothing , so i started to remove hardware because i have a problem everytime i move the pc i need to swap rams , idk why . I removed the video card but now , no beeps and have a short start , just 2 sec and after the pc shuts down and repeat. I have : i5 6500 , GTX 1060 6gb ,16GB DDR4 , MOBO gigabyte b150-hd3 , and m2 ssd 970 evo , and an 1 TB hard.
