Hey guys! I'm back with another sponsored project! EVGA was generous enough (as always) to send me some of their awesome hardware. This is another EVGA and Thermaltake sponsored project, and I named it "HoloView". Thermaltake was kind enough to send me their View 27 chassis and some of their water cooling components. This will be a quick (hopefully) and simple project but will add a special feature to it (hopefully I could pull it off properly). A huge shout out to the sponsors! Here's some of the components that will go in to this project. Yesterday I was able to test fit some components and tear the View 27 down to confirm some measurements and some possible radiator placements. The plan was to rotate the computer case 90 degree so the front panel will be the bottom of the case and the top will be the front panel. Here was my plan, either I will have the 360mm radiator in front and have the 240mm radiator at the bottom or the opposite way around. Originally, I thought I could use the area below the power supply for mounting a 240mm radiator but the power supply that I will be using is a bit long and will have some interference once the power cables are connected. So instead of doing that, I will mount a 140mm fan below the power supply as intake. Now that I have a rough idea of where and what components for water cooling are going to fit in, next will be taking measurements for the custom side panel, cutting out the 140mm fan mount on the back and making the custom front panel for the 240mm radiator. But that will be for the next update. That's it for this first update for the HoloView project. Thank you EVGA and Thermaltake, as always, for giving another opportunity to me for this project! See you in the next one! Ciao!

Hi Everyone, I've decided to build a new computer, the sole purpose of this computer is 3D Applications as well as Gaming. Hence the reason for me not upgrading to a GTX 1000 series graphics card. Here is the build list that I've been working on as a final for the build. I have already purchased the things that are noted down below. What I ask from you is for your help with picking the correct components for liquid cooling the PC as I have had no experience doing so. I plan on using a majority of EK components as a Thermaltake sponsorship is completely up in the air. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/TechBank/saved/3mJt6h Please let me know if you have any suggestions for me Can't wait to see what the final Product will look like -Tech Bank

Hey everyone, Im looking at a new pc case and yes, I'm a sucker for trends and want tempered glass. I have been wanting a s340 elite(i currently have the h440) but on one had I feel like it will be too much like my current case, and a friend already just got a new case that is similar I did run into the ThermalTake Core P3 but cannot find any good reviews or builds... has anyone had any experience with this case? My only concern is that my gpu is water cooled via aio so I'm not sure how that will work out.

Hello everyone, im looking to get a new case for my system it needs clearance for a 165mm tall cpu cooler ,because im using a thermaltake Frioand 11 inches for my gpu,a 970 strix, i have an atx motherboardi have 3 optionsNZXT H440: I really love how this case looks and its features, but im worried about the airflow of the front, because the vents are going to be facing a wall.NZXT Noctis450: This one is an option because its interior is the same as the H440 and i think doesnt have the airflow problem.Coolermaster MasterCase Pro 5 : A nice case too, everything fits perfectly and doesnt seem to have airflow problems...I would really like to afford the H440, but im really worried about the airflow, if someone owns that case and has the front vents facing a wall, please let me know how are your temps.Id like you guys to recommend any other case with a nice interior, a nice window to showcase the components installed, nice airflow and support for my cpu cooler and graphics card, Also im really into minimalistic design, thats why i love the H440 haha, thanks a lot

Hi guys, Just a quick question, I have a Core P3 and noticed over the short while since I've had it the VRM heatsinks get extremely hot on my Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z (Not OC'd in any way). I understand its because of the lack of airflow and wondered if there are any recommendations of an positional cooling fan I could get to add air movement. Something simular you would get with an open test bench setup? Thanks in advanced

I am building in a Thermatake Tower 900, I absolutely love this case, when completed with water this PC may be over 120 pounds or more, case alone is 57 pounds or 61.6 pounds in the dam box. I ordered 4 SANYO DENKI 9GV1412P1G001 fans for the cold air intake. 140mm x 38mm. All intake except for back panel will be a sayno fan, could not put on back panel due to clearance issues with 80mm thick rads. Voltage Rating (V) 12 Operating Input Voltage Range (V) 10.8 to 13.2 Power Rating (W) 55.2 Product Category DC Fan Nominal Speed (r/min) 7600 Maximum Airflow (CFM) 310 Maximum Pressure 2.57inH2O Noise Level (dB) 70 Line Current (A) 4.6 For the water cooling it will be Two loops which is 2 24v PMP 600's with a 400mm bitspower res attached to each one. The CPU, and GPU's will each run on its own loop. The PMP 600 have the highest Maximum Head Pressure I have seen 11m or (36ft) and 20L/min (5.3 gal/min), Tubing will be neatly arranged 1/2" x 3/4" Tygon neoprene tubing. Each 560 80mm thick rad with Noctua NF-A14 iPPC-3000 PWM fans in push pull, push only on bottom of rads near PSU due to clearance issues because the 80mm thick rad. The cpu will be on the Watercool MO-RA3 420 PRO 9 x 140mm push pull configuration with 9 Cougar CFD14HBR 140mm fans. As of right now these are the parts I am waiting for some are out and some are not. The ones in bold I have or have completed. Since about a year ago i have only Been using the stock Intel i5 cooler and the 1 stock 200m case fan inside of the Thermaltake v21, its terrible and it sounds like a tractor. So i bought 2 corsair sp120 quiet edition fans and a hyper 212 evo. Im not gonna use the stock fan, only the 2 new ones + the 212. Where should i put them. I was thinking of having the 2 sp120 in the front and then using the 212 fan to pull air out through the heatsink and out of the case.

Hey guys, since my last build was over a year ago, I decided to start a new project. I bought a used pc from eBay for a small home server. It cost me about 100 Euros. Now I will try some kind of a budget, sick looking, modded Pc build :-)

Hi. As the title says, which fans are the better option. The thermaltake fans cost 180 usd and the corsair fans cost 90 usd but with an additonal cost 75 usd for the corsair commander mini so I can software control them. The build I will be putting the fans in is: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/LQVxjc I do not know what else to say and just ask if I was unclear about anything. Thank you in advance.

Sup Internet, So I'm thinking of upgrading my chassis to one of those fancy Thermaltake Core P3 open air guys, I just think they're rad as hell, but I'm concerned my AIO liquid cooler for my CPU might not be compatible. I'm using a swiftech H320x2 and, as some of you may know, it has a reservoir attached to it. Meaning, I can only attach my fans to the back of said radiator. My question then is, can I use this radiator with a Core P3 case? Whenever I see people using this case they just screw the rad directly to the case and attach fans to the top so they're visible; Fan|Rad|Case in that order. Would I be able to attach the fans directly to the case and then the rad to those fans so that they were between the rad and the case? I do have long screws that came with my current Phanteks case which can go through a radiator bracket, fans, and into a radiator, but I don't know if the threading on those is compatible with the Thermaltake case. If anyone has one of these fancy cases and could let me know I'd be much appreciated! Picture of the AIO for reference

I am upgrading my pc to Ryzen. I have got the Asus Crosshair VI Hero and my psu is Thermaltake 750w EVO Blue 2.0 The board has an 8 and 4 pin port to power cpu but my psu only has one EPS/cable with 8 pin socket. I have an adapter cable from a previous evo psu I had which is female 8 pin one end and 8 + 4 pin male on the other. All plugs fit into the board. Question is can I run both the 8 pin and 4 pin cpu power via the one cable with one EPS. Does the board & cpu need to two separate EPS from the psu to avoid over loading/allow different currents similtaneously? I understand the second 4 pin is for extreme overclocking. I Would ideally not want to upgrade psu if I can avoid it.

Hey, I'm looking for a fan controller to turn down my case fans when I'm not gaming since I only have one fan header on my motherboard but 3 fans. Hello, I'm new. Also new to building PCs. I'm looking at ordering parts for my first build soon. I know what I'm looking for, but I'm needing advice on the right GTX 1070 for a Thermaltake Core V21 case. I really don't know which 1070 card to get. Should I get a blower, Superclocked, or FTW edition? I'm more concerned about thermals. The case will be Aircooled for now as I am not ready to get into the world of water cooling. Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks

So I have been out of the PC world for over 10 years and want desperately to get back into it. I have a build planed out, all black and orange, the problem is; the PSU (Thermaltake Toughpower DPS G RGB 850W) that I want does not seem to be supported by Cable Mod, probably because Thermaltake makes cable extensions of there own. I don't see why a Cable Mod 24pin cable would be any different from the Thermaltake one. can any one tell me why there are so many Cable Mod cables for each different PSU and if there would be a problem using a the Cable Mod cables below with the PSU I have picked out, id hate to buy the cables and waste the money. Thanks in advance! Hi Guys, Am planning for my first content creation rig. i decided to go for a tempered glass pannel with good space to manage cables. s340 elite was my most fav and got to know about the thermaltake view 31 which has the advantage when we do custom water cooling the pc. am not going for custom water cooling now but planning to upgrade later. should i go for the thermal take view 31 i dont know about the quality of it. but tons of reviews about s340 elite looks premium too which was not in case with view31 TG. is that thermaltake build quality can match nzxt which one i should go with.

Hey i recently rebuild my pc with a see through window but i was wondering can i replace the fan on the 212 evo with a Thermaltake ring 120MM with led even though its not pwm, would i see equal/better temps? this is purely to match the rest of my system (pc is very silent so noise isnt a problem)

I just ordered some Thermaltake Riing12 RGB fans, and I was wondering if there was any way I could sync up the colours on those to the LEDs on my motherboard. My current setup is, a Gigabyte GA-Z270X Ultra Gaming Motherboard + Phanteks LED Strip Adapter + LEDMO RGB LEDs, not specifically made for PC but they were cheap. So, does anyone know if my goal is possible? Thanks

Well, (you can skip the intro to the first bold if you want) Thanks to this site, I've gone back to the lab several times due to NOT checking the site, and getting some spectacular help from the community. I also didn't realize the power of facebook market place! Holy CRAP everyone wants muh old system/build. I was getting the junkyard mafia 20 bucks and its a deal! offers for a long time on a certain forum that's also really good for help.... I probably deserve that because pa Anyway, I ordered a new gpu and (although I'm going to have to return it by april 29 IF nobody buys my late 2016 razer blade 14" QHD and core (my initial shot at an upgrade) When I went back to R2D2 I call my tower r2d2, because the level 10 GT by thermal take kinda looks like R2D2, especially with blue LED on and all., ANYWAY, I tired to put the following new build (and old if italicized) into my case: Here's what she's got! i7-7700k MSI Founders edition 1080ti being return to amazon for a lovely gigabyte 1080TI OC'd white card, finally, aftermarket goodies ASUS z270 MAXIMUS CODE IX MOBO 500gb Samsung 960 evo m.2 500 gb Samsung 950 evo agility 128gb for windows install ONLY 16GB 3000MHZ ddr 4 corsair white led 16gb 3000mhz ddr 4 corsair RGB (same just prettier lights). both sticks are in 8x2 here is where it gets dicey folks!! I have a level 10 GT case, it works great, but I've had it for SEVEN years, there has GOT to be a better option out by now Corsair H80 OG CPU liquid color. yes, the old one, and the radiator is on... the back?? (inside) a TX850 gold standard powersupply heres what I'm thinking of adding: thermaltake 3 fan (120x3?) liquid cooler CASE (was going TT p3, but I didn't realize HOW open it was) and the EVGA 1000w platinum cert psu

I have since upgraded and its was sitting around until recently when i gave it to my cousin, so i figured I'd throw up some photos and talk about it. It was the first computer i built. I actually for the most part copied a friends build and changed little things as i went. It plays everything i've thrown at it without an issue. I did use it as a plex server for awhile and it ran that really great as well. It has a SSD for the main OS but the HDDS i know are dated but for what my cousin uses it for it can be something thats upgraded to later. The bluray drive works great and comes in handy sometimes especially when most computer do not have optical drives anymore. Downside to this build is that the heat sink blocks a ram slot so i could only get 20 gb of ram in there. I actually think i have 1 4 gb stick i could probably get 24 if i changed the 4gb to an 8gb but still 1 slot is blocked and that would be as high as you could go. It runs smooth, it runs very cool with temps at idle around 30C. completely fan cooled. It is a great build and has ran great the entire time I had it and will continue to go strong.
