Hello, i am a robotic engineer and deep learning programmer. So need to buy a new gpu for my AI model training and i was looking for 2x 2080ti or 1 titan rtx. and i wanted to know which one would work better in performance in deep learning and gaming but i couldn't find any forums that benchmarks 2x 2080ti and 1 TITAN RTX with tensorflow workload. I thought LTT froums whould help me kame the choice. My question is does 2x2080ti with sli or nvlink works better then 1xTITAN RTX? and my budget is around $3000 for gpu and thank you for helping

I have Gigabyte X570 Aorus Pro and Asrock X570 Phantom Gaming 4 and I would like to use one of those as SLI with 2 GPU. I have 2 of RTX 2080Ti and 2 of RTX 2070 Super. 1. Does any of those 2 Mobo can setup SLI? 2. Can I do SLI with GPUs that I have? (2 of the same type of course) 3. Do I need extra hardwares to setup the SLI? *Back story : I need to connect with 6 monitors from just one PC (and use as super wide and big display). I've ordered 8x8 HDMI Matrix with Video Wall Function but they won't be arriving until 2020 Jan 10 and I have a presentation to make this Monday. That's why I'm looking for quick solution with SLI. Thanks in advance..

Hi , I have 2 Zotac Amp Edition 1070ti's from my previous build. Now i want to upgrade my build, as of now i am just looking to change my CPU and Motherboard. I wanted to go for Ryzen 3900x but PC components here in India are too expensive. 3900x Is around $700 whereas in US its $500. So, now i am going for Ryzen 7 3700x but i am unable to find a proper X570 motherboard which Supports SLI. I could easily go for Expensive Motherboard which has all the features but thats just stupid. I mean if i could do that, then why not get 3900x for $700 ...so i am looking for a BUDGET X570 MOTHERBOARD WHICH SUPPORTS SLI WITH RYZEN 7 3700X. I need some expert advice here ...

So I'm trying to find a 1 slot spacing SLI bridge (60mm). I'm REALLY trying to find the EVGA 100-2w-0026-LR (60mm) 1 slot spacing SLI Bridge. I'm a consistency brand bitch for aesthetics so I'm really trying to get that specific Bridge. I'm using the EVGA Classified K z370 Mobo, with 2 EVGA GTX 1080 FTW's Does anyone have a spare one to sell? Or know of anywhere that sells on? or one similar to it.

Hello everyone and anyone, I'm in need of some technical help... with cyber monday quickly approaching I figured it was either now or never to get myself a solid GPU. I'm well aware that Nvidia's 2080-ti is the top choice for most, I have a pretty solid system but have no GPU, and I don't want to bottleneck anything. I have an i9-9900k on a ASUS XI CODE MOBO, with 64GB of 3200MHz Speed RAM, and a solid PSU, with ample cooling. I want to be able to game in 4k at top specs for most games, but I don't want to spend too much on a GPU, I really like the 2070 Super, and 2080 Super from Nvidia, (either from Nvidia or ASUS) for both price, and performance... if I were to get a 2080 ti though... I was looking at the ASUS ROG STRIX GeForce RTX 2080-TI Overclocked 11G GDDR6, or just the Nvidia Model. What do y'all think? Also, as far as upgradeability goes... I can't seem to find much info on pairing 2 2080 Super cards together through SLI, or Nvidia Bridge... I've seen examples with the 2070 Super, but not the 2080 Super. My guess as to why that is, is that at that point your probably just better off getting a 2080 ti at that point right? My reasoning for considering the 2080 Super is that it's like 700-800 dollars, and later I could get another one for sli. Lastly... I just want to have a good experience for my viewers on twitch. Do y'all even think SLI does anything different? Or should I just bite the bullet and get a 2080 ti. I would really appreciate any and all opinions you have on my considerations for GPU's above. Thanks!

I'm running a i7 7800x clocked around 4.2ghz 64gb ddr4 quad channel and a pair of 960 in sli.MSI 960 4gb gaming MSI 960 (4gb) in sli MSI x299 SLI plus 8x8 gskill 3400 Thermaltake gold 850 psu I have around $550-$600 to upgrade my graphics. My question is should I look at getting either a RTX 2070 super or a pair of 1080s'? I do a equal mix of video editing, cad work and gaming. And we are going to get a VR setup once the downstairs is finished. Most of the program's I use are sli capable/compatible

Any recommendations? I have two aorus 1080 ti 11gb and do not have a Sli bridge yet. What is a good bridge that wont break my budget?

Hey all, Either I'm having a complete brain fart about compatability, or some unknown settings are forcing my GPU's to lock at 8x and 4x Native PCIE speeds. If someone can shed some light on why the GPU PCIE speeds are set so low, and how I may be able to remedy that, I'd be really grateful. My own assumption is that the chipset is limited and my board is just crammed with hardware.. So much so that the lanes have been maxed out. Thanks! I have recently cleaned my computer (disassembled and reassembled) And now i have a few problems, 1)In VrChat with htc vive it will crash after 10min. 2)In Black Desert Online i get every few minutes a black screen for 10 sec. I have noticed that my gpus get from 40% to 100% in the sec. the screen went black. Does anyone know what I can do there? All I have changed is that I switched the sli switch on the motherboard from out to 2 away sli. The cards are in the 1 and 3 pcie slot. sli To SLI, or not to SLI, that is the 1080 vs 1070 ti question!
Jath posted a topic in Graphics Cards
Alrighty then, here goes my first post. I've got me a somewhat budget gaming pc built from salvaged mining parts. I'm using the following: motherboard: MSI Z270 SLI CPU: i5-7400 RAM: 24Gb of 2666mhz GPU: Asus GTX 1080 (not bought for mining). Monitor: 32" PX 329, 2560x1440p 160hz 4ms I also happen to also have a couple of MSI GTX 1070 ti laying around, also from the mining. Games I play: CS:GO Star Citizen Hitman Empyrion Dead by Daylight Ark: Survival Evolved would like to play some future titles. Alrighty, so my question is: What should I use? The single 1080, or the two 1070 ti in SLI. Since money isn't involved in this equation, I think this may change things for people IMO... Has SLI improved in the last 2 or 3 years? Is there any serious drawbacks? Will I hit any bottlenecks soon? I'm also planning on switching out to the i7-7700k soon, as it's the fastest processor my motherboard is compatible with, but that's not priority right now. So, in short... should I go for it? I guess I could always just try it out and switch it back if I don't like it, since i have all the parts. But I wanted to get feedback first, since I'm a little too lazy to reverse everything after I've done it. :-D Thanks in advance.. -
I just noticed that my NVidia control panel is not allowing SLI options. It let's me only allocate PhysX to one of the cards, but nothing else. My bridge lights up at least and seems to be well connected, I've reinstalled the drivers. I tried plugging the monitor to either card. Am I missing something or should I assume something is broken? The cards are two GTX 970 and it's using an official 4 slot HB bridge.

Hiya everyone, I built a rig recently and my sli option is not showing under nvidia control panel, they're both installed and detected by os; however, primary card working at x16 pcie mode 3.0 and secondary working at x4 pcie mode 1.1! And i have no idea why this happening... i swabbed cards but still same issue... Hello, I am trying to pick a motherboard for Intel 9900K. But I'm kinda lost since it's been ages I've built a PC.. I need a non-outdated board. Meaning a board from latest product line of the brand. But a popular, stable mainstream model.. At least 2xM.2 slots for RAID0.. I'm gonna use 2x2080Ti with NvLink.. But i heard graphics cards get very hot when they're too close to each other because of poor airflow. What should I look for? Any motherboards you could suggest for using dual graphics card with less temprature problems? --

Background info: I have 2 GTX 780's in SLi, an i7 4820k, 16Gb of RAM, a corsair 800w PSU, and an SLi capable motherboard. All drivers are up to date, SLi is enabled and works fine /most/ of the time. I understand that some games don't support SLi or even if they do it sometimes just doesn't work, I've accepted that with many games I have, and just run them with a single GPU, however I recently installed the Division 2 and I'm experiencing some really weird behavior. I would just chalk it up to SLi being jank at the best of times and run it single GPU with low settings, but I really wanna get to the bottom of whats going on. So, to start I had some issues like SLi being set to single GPU by default for the Division 2 in the Nvidia control panel, despite global settings being set to alternate frame rendering. I set it to AFR manually and then SLi started to work-ish, both cards are being used but both are only around 25% utilization with the game running at about 15-20 fps. I was about to give up and go back to single GPU when I opened the menu and my fps jumped up to 70, as well as my utilization jumping to near 100% for both cards, if I close the menu then usage drops back to 25% and so does the framerate. I'll also add that this game uses opaque menus overlaying the actual game, so it isn't just rendering the menus at 70 fps, the game is also being rendered in the background, and I can physically see the game itself running at 70 fps. I'm wondering if anyone has had a similar experience, or has any ideas what could be causing this as I have absolutely no clue whatsoever. TL;DR: Division 2 uses 25% of my GPU's in game, but uses 100% when I open any menu.

Recently, my father was promoted to "chairman of the board" at his business, and to celebrate that he is offering me a generous sum of $5000 to replace my surface book 2 I bought in 2017. So I began the search for a few computer guides that could give me a good recommendation. One problem appeared though: Most guides used a Threadripper 2950x as their main "splurge point" and left most of the other components similar to build guides in the 25-3500 dollar range, which makes me question wether these build are actually for gaming (which from what I can tell are more GPU intensive) or CAD and professional video and graphic design (which are more CPU oriented). Is a threadripper a good investment? Or maybe a second 2080Ti running SLI? After some searching I decided that this is the biggest hub of computer junkies that I could find and the best chance of getting my answer. Reading related posts, yes, I know that I probably could get a gaming rig for $1000 bucks and it would be just fine, but I have the money and I am unlikely to get such a generous donation for quite a while (the next possible point I see is leaving for college in 4-5 years) and it isn't cash so any money I save on a $2000 gaming rig goes into my dads pocket and not mine. So I'd rather spend the money now when I have it to make the best possible rig that I can. Any Suggestions? Any would be appreciated.

Heyho! i was wondering; how do you guys feel about single RTX2080 vs GTX 1070(amp edition) SLI? ,cause that’s what I’ve decided for (because I got a second 1070amp for just 250 bucks) Its a shame I had to ditch ray tracing (for now) - the reason I went with dual 1070 is simple: I already had one and I thought it would look sick af to have water cooled acrylic sli gpu power. I game on 4K, so if games support sli somewhat well I *should* get better performance than a single 2080...? Im in Finland right now, so unfortunately I can’t test anything yet (the system isn’t build yet, last part (cpu) arrives on Tuesday.) As soon as I’m home (18.10.) I’ll get to building. so i got myself 2 old 680's to mess with sli for the first time in my lifeso i got all the card setup and reinstalled the latest drivers incase of any faults (oct1 game ready drivers)noticed no SLI inside control panel. ok reinstall drivers again stil no change. noticed weird graphical bugs in windows ui (it is not gpu related. both cards render 3d fine)so i reinstalled windows 10 on it and tossed game driver 397.31 on it as suggested by a friend and then run a patch called DifferentSLIinside that article it asks for a nvlddmkm.sys file inside win32 wich i've looked for and found absent so okay ran DDU and reinstalled drivers with both card installed (and tried with single)still no nvlddmkm.sysi've google that file and noticed quite a few forum posts about gtx 970's with missing nvlddmkm.sys causing SLI to either not work or something like that see pictures for gpu z of both devicesits a modified z400 4 dimm motherboard inside a define r6 with 900wat psu and a 360mm radiator and 12 gb ram.i've tried swapping the sli cable to the other plug. and tried a 3way sli bridge with dual connectors with no change then i found out the shitty certificate thing existed and since this is a x58 chipset board (wich should support it natively) but since this board is a workstation/server type device hp never paid nvidia to get this board certified. i've found some older post linking to some patch tools wich resulted into a site that has gone offline and been turned into a very nsfw site ever since. anyone got any ideas. tips. or tools. to force sli x58 motherboards? since this is basically just a driver checking for a bios string it should not be that impossible? i dont have issues with running a older driver if needed. i do have soldering skills. if someone happens to find some weird dark post on the internet of modding the board for this (or even to get x56xx cpus working) involving soldering please let me know thank you in advance excuse my english. its 5 am. not my native language. and very tired of working to get this to function https://imgur.com/a/1yvFcv6

i like planning far ahead into the future, im getting a rtx 2070 super this coming winter. Would it be better to go SLI 2070 supers by the end of 2020 or get one of the next graphics card releases? Also how much wattage would i need to support that because im currently needing a power supply upgrade

As the title says, I have an MSI 980 ti SLI set up. Now my bridge is an MSI bridge that has a light up logo. This stopped working a long time ago and I assumed it was just the LED, but today I pulled off the bridge entirely and SLI is still working in games like Rainbow six siege and in benchmarks like fire strike and valley bench mark. I know sli can work without a bridge but apparently it can impact performance. I checked fire strike however and compared to similar builds I get similar if not higher results. However when trying SLI in PUBG my frame rate tanks horribly. I want SLI communication to take place across the bridge. Is there anyway I can force that? How can I check if communication is taking place across the bridge or across the PCIE lanes. My build is as shown here, maybe it'll provide answers: I7 6700k 980 ti SLI 16GB RAM Gaming M7 Mother Board by SLI If you need anymore information I can provide. Thank you!!
