I need to replace about 4 fans, 2 CPU 120mm fans, and 2 140mm fans(acting as air intake fans). I haven't been impressed with Artic and their CPU fans, and Corsair's AF LED series fans were pretty junky. I am a fan of Noctua, Be Quiet seemed to have good fans too. So would you guys kindly recommend some good quality fans to replace the 4 fans I need replacing? Thanks in advance.

Hi, since ancient times i have been using a cheapo 1080p monitor with 60hz ish refresh and i would like to purchase a new monitor, i now have a 1080 and play some games in 4k DSR and would like to try the real thing, i figured since i have a Nvidia card it would be a waste of money not to go for one with Gsyn capabilities and that's the problem i'm encountering, for starters all tech in uk is %30-40 more than us, so something that costs $400 would cost £400 which is just the worst thing since unsliced bread and the market at least in the uk for 4k G Sync monitors is little to nothing, as far as i can tell through no research and quick amazon glances the only two companies that supply what i want are acer and asus and half of what shows up is in ultrawide not 4k and the ones that are 4k with G sync are £700+ ($900+), basically i would like suggestions to decent 4k displays at around the £400-£500 price point And if anyone would like to see what i mean by UK being overpriced the XB281HK in the UK is on offer for £575 and the in the US is on offer for $599 and at the current exchange rate the uk price in america would be $750 around %40 more than in the US, as far as i can tell this monitor has poor picture quality, going by UK reviews of the product, it also pains me to see that a 4k freesync monitor is on average around £400, damn i hate Gsync and the fact i want it so bad, any suggestion please hit me up or if you have experience with owning the XB281HK please tell me what you thought of this product so i can decide if i should bite another bullet

hello, I don't know if this is posted in the right section but I bought components from vuugo.com last night and was wondering if anyone has ever ordered off them or knows info about their service. I saw many good reviews prior to the order but this morning I decided to look into it more because it was a rather huge order, I seen an overwhelming amount of negative reviews across multiple sites (reddit, toms hardware and google reviews). a few people have talked about addition hidden fees that were put on them after they placed their order for shipping, it says their warehouse is in Ontario and I'm in british Columbia and I don't have the money to pay any extra fees and I also seen reviews say that vuugo charged them for canceling an order which I also obviously don't want to pay for. if anyone here has any information regarding this site please let me know immediately as I want to get this solved as soon as possible. thanks.

Hi I'm thinking of buying myself a prebuild NAS, primarily used for storage/media streaming (local and external) and torrenting. (1) I’m looking for feedback on my remarks and any advice would be appreciated: Synology DiskStation DS916+ QNAP TVS-471 WD My Cloud PR4100 Like - Btrfs (it's not magic but will give me a heads-up) - apps - Warranty - VM ready -cpu - VM ready - hardware decoding capabilities (for “Plex”) - price - It’s WD (in a good way), - Easy RAM upgrade - hardware decoding capabilities (for “Plex”) Don’t like - RAM upgrade - NO hardware decoding capabilities (2) - RAM upgrade - don’t know if it supports VM’s Off topic: (1) Selecting torrent on a computer and downloading it on a NAS In the future maybe running VM’s off the NAS (2) Been reading a lot of mixed reports on hardware decoding… What is going on here ?? Would I be better buying a powerful NUC and leave the decoding to it and run a Docker container on a NAS for everything else? Best regards and thank you in advance

Hello everyone, I just bought a z170 Designare for 50€ and 2x gtx 980 for 300€ on ebay but I know that the motherboard doesnt support SLI. So I googled how I could possibly make it work and found some shady programm called Different SlI and of course i instantly installed it. But it doesnt work because I have no nvlmmdmk.sys file only a nvlmmdmk.sy_ file. Is there any other way to get SLI working and if not is anybody keen on trading the board for a SLI compatible board? (Im living in Germany so its recommended that you live in Germany too)

I'm looking on PC World's site but I don't think they sell any actual PC parts besides pre-builts (you'd think given the name they'd have more). I know quite a few smaller places near where I live but I'm looking for a place comparable to Walmart or Best Buy where everything would be on display and with a wide range. I'm not actually looking to buy from a retail store since the internet will almost certainly have better deals but I'd still like a store that sells cases and parts so I can see them in person. Plus tbh I'm finding the process of looking for parts for my first build to be really fun and going to a store full of parts sounds like something I'd enjoy haha

Hi, I'm looking to buy a graphics card from Jet.com but before I did so I wanted to ask if anyone else here has bought parts from Jet. If its not a bother I would like to know how fast your parts came in and if you had any difficulties with your part in terms of them not working or anything like that. Thanks

Hi everyone. I'm looking for the best bang for the buck USB headset I can get for around $100 CAD. I don't necessarly need a lot of features and killing audio, but I will use it at work for an online course I'm taking and for lightweight gaming at home with my PC. Any suggestions?. Thanks.

Hi, I've been trying hard to find the 7980XE, but it seems out of stock everywhere. I'm in Netherlands / EU and importing it from USA costs about 400 on import taxes, so that's not really a good option. Does anyone know where I can still buy it?

I am currently looking for a new WiFi router to replace the crappy Comcast one. Currently, I’m looking at the Netgear Nighthawk X10 or the Nighthawk X6. I am trying to decide if I should spend 100 dollars more for the X10 which has 802.11AD and is about 2 years newer. What do you guys think? Hey everyone, I am a multimedia professional looking to upgrade/build a decently beefy home workstation for After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop and to be honest... also D2. I am looking at the 3950x on x570 as the chipset/cpu, but I'm honestly not sure what to think about gpu's and their prices right now... With recent launches, rumors of new launches and black Friday around the corner, I'm quite frankly scared to buy anything for fear of it either dropping 30% in price or something 30% better coming out right after my return window. For perspective my current rig is an i7 3770k, gtx 760 4gb, and 32gb of ddr3, so... clearly I'm not keen to update every season. What are your thoughts? Current case is antec 1100, I have a 4k display and one 1080p, will likely get a 2nd 4k when I can.

I am shopping for a new router and modem, either in one whole unit or 2 separate units since I have Comcast and I want it to work with their network. I have a list of things the router has to meet for my networking needs. Port Speed: We run CAT6 Gigabit for our network so the router has to meet that LAN speed. ISP Network: We'er with Comcast so we need the Modem to work on their network whether as a separate device or all-in-one. Security: First and foremost Security. Solid Firewall with some good options. Can Port Forward and allow normal gaming traffic and Twitch Streaming traffic as well as general use traffic. The Ability to monitor network traffic, ports, and the ability to do DHCP reserve list. Wi-Fi It HAS to have 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz with a high range of channels and bandwidth so I don't have to compete with my neighbors for wi-fi traffic. It'd be cool if I could see other wireless networks in the router so I can tune my wi-fi to work well. Other Features: I don't mind if the router has other great features too and I like having options. I just wanted to list the MOST needed ones first. Price: The most I am willing to put in it is $400 but I don't think networking gear is expensive

Hi. My old Lenovo Thinkpad L460 laptop is quite frankly terrible. And now after 3 years of usage it is also falling apart. I'm therefore looking for a new PC. I took a look at one of my country's big tech companies, and they had a promotion sale on a gaming laptop (Linked Below) Now I have no clue how to choose a good computer, so i was wondering if someone could help me. Would this Laptop be a good choice for the price? Should i choose another or build a stationary? Or is it an obvious better choice im missing? I'm sorry that the website is in Norwegian, as i could not find any way to switch the language. Hopefully the specifications is understandable by the part names. https://www.elkjop.no/product/data/barbar-pc/32208/asus-gaming-tuf-fx505du-15-6-barbar-gaming-pc-sort-gull Price for comparison is approx: 1225-USD if i buy before October and 1560-USD after the promotion ends I will try to check here as often as possible, and Thank you very much in advance.

As you can see form the attached image, my family caught wind that my current gaming headset was breaking down, so I got a little voucher for one pair of headphones! the price range seems to be 100-150 (which i can supplement with some extra christmas money as need be) I've been using a pair of Razer Man'O War headphones for the last couple years and i LOVE THEM TO DEATH, however i really would like something i could connect to my phone for audio books or music while traveling. Currently my frontrunner is : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MSZSL4I/ref=twister_B07FBDGKDT?_encoding=UTF8&th=1 ideally i would like something with a microphone and the ability to connect wired/wirelessly for least hassle. i'm in no way a dedicated audiophile, but I can of course tell general differences in quality. so i don't need anything super crazy and i don;t mind it being a little bass-heavy. I admit i'm not very experienced with headsets since the only ones i've owned are very "gamer". I'd be delighted to see your suggestions. Merry Christmas to everyone reading this

Like the title, I'm going to buy a mouse and a keyboard with rgb, my budget is around 200€ (a little more is ok if the combo reach that values, like 230/240€). My only requirements are programmable rgb also for single keys and a mechanical type for the keyboard, programmable buttons and selectable DPI for the mouse. I play a lot of game's genres, from FPS to MMO, so a generic combo would be perfect. Thanks in advance ?

I'm looking to get a new TV, and I know a few of the things that I want in it, but I'm not sure exactly where to start looking or what brands to look for, etc. Here are the things I know I want: Smart TV I want to be able to use Hulu as my TV provider without an external box Being able to use netflix or other apps would be very nice too Probably 4k $400 target I don't know the market very well, so maybe $300 is reasonable, maybe it's more like $500, but $400 is my naive target right now What brands should I specifically look at? What models? Should I go to costco and shop or just check out Amazon? I really don't know much here, so any help would be great

So, first thing hello LTT and Linus Media Group in general! I have recently found myself slowly becoming more enthusiastic about making my own rigs and the like. As to not get too off topic for my first post, I'd like to ask something in regards to a particular mini case that I have become smitten with. Its called the Corsair Graphite 380t, and its basically a lunchbox. It was featured in a older video from the channel so I hope some of you have seen it. I have been trying to track one down for weeks now and have only found two results...a eBay bid for 300 dollars, used. And a nebulous amazon asker for over a grand! Long and short, is there any hope to get ahold of one that's not egregious in cost? Or is there something very similar in style that might be a little niche that its avoiding my searches? (Not the Bitfenix with handles, but I'm not saying its bad haha) Its the built in handles and side doors I love so much. Thank you in advance for reading this far, and I hope I'm able to get some facts/details
