Hello. About two weeks ago i bought brand new computer with this config Sapphire RX 590 nitro+ SE Seasonic focus plus 750w Gigabyte B450M S2H hyperx fury 2x8 gb 2400 mhz amd ryzen 5 2600 everything went fine until i downloaded some games.. then my PC started to reboot and hard lock.. at first i suspected PSU was faulty so then i checked voltages on 12v rails and they were 12.1 so they were fine... PC works with my friend's RX 570 and my old nvidia gt 440 graphics card. I went to an authorized technician and there PC worked just fine.. i was doing tests on aida64 and my PC crashes every time i stress GPU.. but when i went to a technician my PC worked fine for about 50 minutes in aida64 full gpu stress test.. technician concluded that i have problems with my electric power at home, unstable AC voltages. But i checked them too and voltage varies between 230-240 VAC and i believe that is also fine (unless theres something else wrong with my home's electricity ). I read online a bit about this rx 590 and i've found out that many other have same problem like me.. i can lower the power limit in wattman settings for gpu and my card passes aida64 test (at least it can run longer then 10 minutes) but when i play any other game i still get crashes. I`ve been playing with wattman settings in terms of underclocking but nothing seems to be stable.. im worried to RMA my card coz it could take 1 month to solve this and they could easily say it works just fine (like it did when i ran aida64 at my technician) . What do you guys think i should do ? Any suggestions to check if something is faulty with my home electricity or anything else? Also.. ive ordered voltage regulator but i really dont think it will help since my AC voltages are within boundaries.. help pls.

I recently bought an all AMD PC with an RX 590 a week ago and have had green lines and artifacts appear on my screen on day 4. Before then it worked fine and ran forza, apex etc on ultra and temps never went above 55C max By now anytime i try to load any game my screen goes black and the entire pc shuts down and restarts, is this a faulty or defective gpu or could this be another issue with a different component, ive tried everything including making sure wires are secure, the gpu is properly seated, all drivers and motherboard bios is updated, ive switched monitors used different hdmi cords to no avail. I want to be sure its the gpu before i replace it with a new RX. How can i be sure and is there anyway to fix this or is it too far gone? Hi, i was wondering if thermal grizzly kryonaut would be good for an rx 590 and a ryzen 5 3600 (non x). I was considering getting a corsair h60 120mm AIO, i dont need anything bigger. Are there any better 120mm aios and would that thermal paste be best for gaming and said cpu and gpu type?

I there, I purchased the dell s2419hgf at the end of last year because of the 144hz refresh, I just bought a new GPU that should be able to handle it (RX590) and I cant get the display above 59hz. I went into the OSD and turned on overclock mode but there is no option to change refresh rate in windows itself. I am using a display port cable but I dont know what version of cable it is could that be it? any help would be great... have attached pic rest of specs are crap as I am currently trying to piece a build together i5 4570 stock 16GB DDR3 stock HP OEM mobo

I just bought this xfx rx590 fatboy from amazon to upgrade my pc from the gtx 950 i had, it runs smooth on some games and crashes some others, and even restarts my pc very often when it crashes, i stress easily and this is frustrating me too much, i cant even play the games i bought this gpu for. Sometimes the screen goes just black and the audio cuts, then back to normal, sometimes when that happens wallpaper engine crashes too. My pc specs are: Msi B150M Bazooka Plus i5 6600k 2x8gb HyperX Fury Black (one is 2133mhz and the other is 2666) and the power supply is a 600w EVGA bronze. Bios is up to date. Ill leave some photos that can help a bit. Please help, i really dont want to waste more money and buy a 1660 Super. (yes, that is an i3 cooler on a i5 6600k, runs cool tho)

Hello. I'm building a new PC with Powercolor RX590 Red Dragon Graphic card and AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Processor. Is AEROCOOL VX PLUS 650W power supply will be enough for this build ?

Hey guys i have a Sapphire Nitro + RX 580 which i currently run with a Sapphire Limited Edition BIOS which bumps my core clocks to 1450Mhz and it's rock stable with 1.180V. I tried to compare the Bios from RX590 and there's just no difference between the two of them. Just the Clock speed is 1560. Also a little tighter ram timings. AMD Says that 590 uses a 12nm silicone, but both 590 and 580 has 232mm die's and both have 5700mil transistors. Also TDP is the same so we can't speak of lithography difference here. Soooo yeaaah. My RX580 has Dual bios and i'm not concerned about bricking my card and i tried to flash RX590 bios ... AAAnd voila it worked ! The PC rebooted fine . I didn't even had to reinstall drivers. Checking in GPU-Z it still says i have RX580 series, but the default clock is now 1560Mhz. So it worked it's stable in windows, but as u can guess it is clearly not stable in games although i can now bump the voltage to 1.212 now instead of 1.200 which makes the card stable at 1500mhz and no more. This gave me about 5 to 10% percent in Far Cry 5 benchmark over the Sapphire Limited Edition 1450mhz Core and overclocked memory to 2100 with mem timing on Lvl 2. Temps are not that much higher. I have custom profile which won't let the core go over 65 degrees. What do u think about it ?

I recently took the plunge and upgraded my 750 ti which was beginning to chug horribly to the sapphire RX 590 Special Edition that I found an excellent deal on eBay for manufacturer refurbished. In terms of performance, it's fantastic, I'm getting great fps on ultra settings on 1080p on a lot of the games I play (Witcher 3, Doom etc.). However, when playing games, it is incredibly loud, to the point that there's no way I could play anything without noise cancelling headphones on; it sounds like there's an industrial AC unit on my desk. I've checked the fan curve, and the fans are at about the lowest they can be whilst still giving a sensible temperature under load. I've not overclocked it at all, it's just running at stock speeds. It's currently in a fairly small form factor case which puts it right above a hot PSU (EVGA Hadron Air), so I'm wondering whether getting a bigger case and giving it more room to breathe will bring temps and noise down or if it's just a really noisy card. Was just wondering if anyone has this card or a similar sapphire card in their set up as has found the same issues. Was considering upgrading my case anyway so if its worth it I'll do it, but if it's just a hot, noisy card no matter how much air it gets, it's gonna be going back on eBay real soon. Any help/comments would be greatly appreciated.Cheers!

I just recently picked up a rx590 8gb and Thermtake Versa H17. I'm still running my old i5-6400 and stock cooler. I have a 120mm in the back and a 140mm in the front. When i play the new call of duty my gpu hovers around 75-80 Celsius. Should i be concerned? Both my gpu and cpu usage hover around 95% cuz i really crank the settings.

hi guys, this is my first time making a thread here, so taje it easy on me :) (english is not my native language, so if you read something strange, just let me know) last week i bought a lg ultrawide monitor and a rx590 to upgrade my pc, but so far i cant find out why my graphixs card isnt working Specs: Ryzen 5 2400g asus a320m motherboard 2x4gb ram 2666mhz hyperx 1 wd green 120gb ssd and a corsair cx450w psu So far at the very first time it worked perfectly, but it didnt have the correct drivers for it, only the onboard graphics drivers. Then, my problems just started appearing. After i installed the drivers, the gpu only worked 30sec after the windows was started, after that, just black screen. I tried to install a new windows, but the issue persisted. Then, i tried to change the hdmi cable, but the problem persisted. Then, i tried to uninstall the drivers, and install new ones, but it didnt worked. Now, i think the issue is my psu, because i simulated the wattage consuption, and it was somethin around 380w, and my psu is only 450w. It appears to me when the gpu tries to use a little more power, it shuts down itself, but when i press crtl+alt+del, it goes straight back to task manager, but not to the windows. i really need to get this fixed this week, bc im still on warranty. any questions about the troubleshooting, just ask, i will reply with a couple minutes

I5 6400 Gigabyte h110m 8+8gb ddr3 ram Rx 590 oc edition 5cassis fan, 2hdd 1ssd I am looking for better PSU because maybe my thermaltake smart se 630w power supply started facing problem. I have two power supply in my mind Cx600/650 and antec neo eco 650w. Which is better? And why cx650 is cheaper than neo eco? (After seeing some battery view I am worrying about corsair, and neo eco has not much review to count) If none is better for my rig then which one should i buy? Choose from here under 6500TK cause we don't have amazon, and the choice is very limited http://www.pcgardensylhet.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=88_227

So I can't install card after following these instuctions as per Linus Tech Tips Instructions here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyDxrTHDjXQ&t=280s AMD adrenaline tool need to detect hardware to install and it can't detect the card (even in device manager). Had another graphics card in there so slot isn't the issue. Power is fine from what i can see as the card is on, fans are spinning. It also originally appeared in device manager "Radeon rx 590" with the old nvidia drivers but when i removed the device to reinstall with updated drivers as per AMD instructions it wouldn't reappear. Tried all the following fixes: AMD Driver cleanup tool DDU driver uninstall Removing and reinstalling hardware. Removing CMOS motherboard battery and putting it back in. Above with power cycle. Show hidden devices(device manager) Switching between HDMI/DVI outputs/inputs. Please any help would be appreciated. Thank you. I have done two tests. While my pc is idle and turn off the main power of the UPS pc runs on battery, While it's running on battery power if i stress my GPU/CPU, PC still runs. But If pc is under stress before turning the UPS's main power off and then if i turn the main power off pc restart while UPS is changing AC TO DC power. So my question is, IS this PSU problem or UPS? I thought my UPS is faulty, i sent it to the warranty double time, They said they didn't face any restart problem with their PC. The problem was, if i turn the UPS's main switch Off an On, PC restart's most of the time when i turn main power on, it also restart's while UPS makes that self clicking sound. SO i thought it's UPS problem, but after rejecting double time, i know a technician i sent it to him, but today he's saying he's not even facing single restart with his PC. And this is PSU Capacitor problem. (he's saying he didn't open the UPS case) But i don't think i noticed "Pc restarts in UPS's switch overtime While under pressure" It's happening suddenly, So is it PSU problem who's dying fast or the UPS's fault? My psu is Thermaltake Smart Se 630W (running rx 590 oc edition with it) And powerguard 1200VA UPS

Hi everyone, I'm currently rocking a gtx1060 6gb, which I'm pretty pleased with and so far has met all my gaming needs, however I can't help to not look at the RX 590 as a possible replacement just to make use of the freesync capability of my monitor. For the games I play (mostly e-sports titles), I can get the around 144fps to match my displays 144hz refresh; at this refresh rate, are there any gains to be had with freesync? I got confused after hearing about the freesync/gsync sweet spot of 45-ish fps. For those wondering why the change, I'm not thinking about flipping my 1060, it will just be used in another rig at home. I'm aware that the performance gains might not be really noticeable, just looking at if there's any sense in getting it for the freesync. For the CPU, it's a 6600K running at stock speeds.

Currently I am using GTX 950 for two years and looking to upgrade At first I wanted to upgrade to RX 480, but coincidentally there RX 590 promotion with 3 games (2 of them I really want to play). Here is the thing, in my country. A used RX 480 cost around $175 while A new RX 590 cost $330, with bonus at least $100 worth of games Other card like a new GTX 1060 6GB cost around $280, used one will be $235 And no way I pay anything more than $400 for any parts for something like 1070 I do not care much about FPS, 30 is good enough for me. I tend to prefer high texture detail and stuff Is it a good deal? Most likely I won't upgrade in the next 2-4 years My other concern is power consumption I read some reviews and all of them point RX590 is power hungry Full load it can reach 370 Watt total system consumption Most of the time I always try to buy product that conserve electricity, so never had High End GPU What I want to know is how big jump my electricity bill / kWh consumption with RX 590 from GTX 950 and compared to RX 480? Oh and one last thing, I saw on Sapphire site that RX 590 need 8-pin and 6-pin (optional) Should I plug both in? What the optional 6 pin for? PC Spec - 1080p monitor + 4k Freesync - Core i5 4460 - RAM 16GB - 1 SDD + 3 HDD - B85-G43 GAMING board - Seasonic Focus Plus 750 *Sorry if my English isn't that clear

I just got the RX590 by Sapphire. It has a 8+6 pin connector. I just have a 6+2 pin connector (I guess). Also, the sapphire page says the 6 pin is optional. I'm confused. "1 x 8-pin + 1 x 6-pin (optional) AUX Power Connector" Can I connect my GPU by using the cables that I have? Or, do I have to buy one? I am a new pc builder and I want to go with a RX590 for the GPU but I am not sure if 550W is enough because on one website it said the recommended psu wattage is 600W. Also I don't know if the 6+2 pin(x2) PCI-E cable is enough because it's one cable which connects to the PSU and then at the other end it splits into 2 6+2 pin connectors, so I should be able to use it as a 6+8 pin(and leave a 2 pin hanging) but I am not sure of it. Can someone with more experience help me? Here is my build. (could not add rx590 and SSD)

I have three LG monitors, 1 x 3440 x 1440 [ https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1478388-REG/lg_34bl850_w_34_uhd_monitor_with.html ] 2 x 4K [ https://www.amazon.com/LG-27UK850-W-Monitor-Connectivity-FreeSync/dp/B078GVTD9N ] I am jazzing up my WFH situation. For my work I use a 15" MacBook, and I wanted to set up a 1 cable solution. So, I am planning on getting Razer Core X. Now, since it's MacOS, I am kinda limited to AMD graphics. And I don't want to spend any more than I need to. So, I am trying to choose the best graphics card to drive all three of these monitors via the Razer Core X. Things I am looking for: 1. Three Displayport ports [ must have ] 2. 8GB VRAM 3. Low price; used card is fine and appreciated if the price difference is not marginal Thank you.

Hello everyone, I am wondering if a Ryzen 2700X would make a gigabyte RX 590 bottleneck? I'm looking for an upgrade from my 3400G to a 2700X and i'm not sure of bottlenecking. I am running 3200 Corsair Vengeance 16 GB dual channel, an ROG STRIX B450-F if that is relevant. I am also wondering if I should upgrade to a X570 aorus elite? would that help?

Hey guys, I need some advice. For my final upgrade, I decided on an Rx590. I picked up 2 cards: XFX Rx590 Fatboy OC+ 8GB - 260.99 Cad (before taxes) - no extra games Sapphire Rx590 Pulse 8GB - 229.99 Cad - comes with BL3 (not a huge game for me, but a nice touch) I looked on the GPU tier list and these cards fall in about the same space. Which one should I keep? Thank you for all the help everyone! B The old girl: i7 2600k Noctua DH15 msi 7990 16GB CS Vengeance 850 Plat lg 34uc79g-b 2560x1080 ultrawide
