Heyo, As the title suggests, I'm getting this crackling noise anytime a sound is played using my Razer Surround Pro Audio Controller. This only started happening after I finally updated last night. Other audio outputs like regular realtek and even my monitor speakers sound fine. From what I've been reading, this is only affecting surround sound audio. Anyone know a good fix for this? Win 10 Pro, fully updated as of Apr. 23, 2021. Let me know if you need more info about my PC.

I just bought a Phanteks P360a case that comes with RGB lights preinstalled (two fans and a strip). My mobo (MSI b450m pro-m2) doesn't have a 3-pin RGB header so I bought the Razer Chroma controller. When I plug the header into the controller, synapse doesn't recognize it properly (when the case is in "software mode" it doesn't show up in synapse and when the case's built in controller is on it says it's just one strip/fan with an absurd amount of LEDs). After about a hour or so of chatting with Razer support they said it could be an issue with the unit I received. So I returned it but before I buy a replacement I just want to make sure it'll actually work. If it's not compatible I'll just upgrade my mobo. Thanks!

Hi all, I have a Lenovo Ideapad with 8gb DDR4 and a 10th gen i5. Pretty decent stuff for gaming. Problem is, it only has Intel HD graphics. I have a beautiful rig with a 2070 Super at home, but it's a pain taking my PC setup with me to college. For some reason, I have seen back and forth information on what kinds of laptops can actually be compatible with an e-GPU. My laptop has a USB-C port, so is that good enough? Does it have to be a certain kind of port? If so, what kind of port do I need to be able to use an external GPU?

So I have the Razer Kraken headset, and one thing I noticed is that for some reason the mic records my pc audio I guess? People on discord and in valorant parties have told me they can hear my game really badly and I just tried checking with audio recording on windows, I played a video on the background on multiple volumes and the mic still picked it up pretty clearly, exactly in the volume that I had it set. Ive tried everything I googled, but nothing seems to work. I also tried plugging it both in the back and the front. I have seperate jacks on my headset, one red and one green. One thing though, my pc does recognize my headset as speakers which I dont know how to fix. It says "speakers (realtek audio)". I dont really know how to fix that, the first audio device I plugged into the green jack WERE my speakers, but if that is why it recognizes it as speakers, I still dont know how to fix it. My razer synapse app also detects my keyboard but doesnt recognize my headset. I dont know if any of this will be of help to finding the issue, but Id be really happy if someone could help. I just got the viper mini and found that it has the LOD issue. And turns out people are trying out stuff with a tape over the sensor. I found posts that mentioned they haven't fixed it through firmware updates but the posts date back to about a year ago. Has anything changed since then? I'm looking for the best firmware till date that addresses the LOD issue. There official website seems to have v1.02.00_r3 and I found one in a subreddit that dates about 4 months ago( v1.03.02_r1). I'm confused. Where do I get the latest firmware update from? I'm looking for a firmware that at least addresses this issue to some extent or the latest firmware update. P.S.: turns out there's no backporting from current firmware version. I'm on v1.02.00

Hi guys So i recently got the Lian Li o11 Razer Edition and built my pc on it. This was my first build so i am new to this stuff. I noticed my case lights up as expected but the synapse software will not recognize it. I saw this Razer chroma ARGB controller and i think i could connect my case rgb header to that and then i can use the synapse to control the case rgb. I want to know if my way of thinking makes sense and if it works? I will also buy a Corsair h150i elite and i my idea is to connect the fan rgb header on the same razer controller to sync them all up. Can i do all this or is there something that i don´t know about?

Hello, I am in a bit of a pickle and have an idea for a solution to my problem, however, I have no clue as to what I am looking to buy or use. Here is my problem: known issue as it is, my Razer Blade battery keeps bulging due to overheating from running my laptop hard. I believe the heat is being transferred via the metal backplate as it comes into direct contact with the battery and gets quite hot after a couple hours of heavy use. I believe the solution to this issue, to stop the batteries from overheating and bulging, is to get some sort of thermal shield fabric or material, ideally thin, between the battery and the backplate to significantly slow the transfer of heat. For the life of me I cannot find a product like this online. Any assistance toward this end I would greatly appreciate. If there is another solution to this heat problem I would be glad to hear it. Before anyone asks, the fans on my Razer Blade are set to max and the laptop gets ample airflow with the rear of the laptop being four inches higher than the front. I do clean the dust out of the laptop regularly as well. Vatruvius

I have found a lot of people talking about how good Razer Peripherals are. I have tried Razer peripherals before and they don't live up to the hype I was expecting. The only thing I could agree on is there Laptops which have really good specs for the money.

Do these count as headphones, or are they just speakers? Also, I think it's pretty neat that you can get prescription lenses for them, but would anyone here where them regularly? What hek? Hi, I just bought razer blade pro 17 2021 model and would like to expand it's RAM to 64GB (need it for virtual machines and development) (https://www.razer.com/eu-en/gaming-laptops/Razer-Blade-Pro-17/RZ09-0368BEA2-R3E1) I cannot find any specs regarding which ram (speed, latency, model) is best for upgrade. Could you point me in the right direction?

A friend of mine has an issue with their keyboard and it spammed \\\\\\\\\ even after restarting. Yes, even in the windows lock screen. They said it stopped after they pressed tab. How can I help them because I am clueless.

So im looking to get a new Keyboard, because my old Logitech Keyboard died recently. The Cynosa light is currently on sale for 35€ (40$) and im wondering if its worth the price. I kinda like Membrane switches actually, so its no problem that it is Membrane. I also really like Razers Rgb Software, so thats another thing that sounds good about it. Do you guys know any other good Keyboards for around 30$ to 45$?

i live in argentina and these are the best keyboards that i found, these are for 70%programming and 30% gaming. my favourite switch is outemu brown, and outemu blue, reds are good but i prefer the others. i only tried a redragon with optomechanical outemu blue -
In every game, i feel like there is a bit of an input lag and a DELAY when I let go of the key. What I mean by that is let's say I Press the w key and let it go. the character goes front but still keeps going front when I literally let go of the key a second ago. I have a razer cynosa v2. my pc has other problems like underperforming even though I changed my mobo, gpu, cpu with new ones couple times. I did another thread about this. people said it could be my ssd. Well I don't have another choice anyway. so keep in mind that I might have a broken ssd too. can ssd cause input lag in devices? I would be happy if someone helped me. thanks

Heyo! Im looking for a laptop both to me and my GF, she is looking for a macbook because it is compatible with her phone and its eiter MacMook air M1,2020 or MacBook air Retina. The main thing she wants to use it for is to use it mainly for shool and writing essays on. I am more towards an ChromeBook or a gaming laptop. A Rzer book or a Razer Blade Base 15.6". I'm looking for a laptop both for gaming and school essays computer sience, AI and programming) but mainly school. Or do you know something better to use? I need help please! -

Razer lied about their Thunderbolt 4 laptops

Hello, a few days ago I posted this : I need help with my Razer Blade and Razer's "support" team. : razer (reddit.com) TLDR : I bought a Thunderbolt 4 (TB4) laptop (Blade Stealth late 2020). The laptop was not able to handle 2 external monitors plugged in the same TB4 port while this ability is mandatory in the Thunderbolt 4 specification. I reached out to Razer Support and during months they muddied the waters by giving me nonsense answers (like asking me to use the HDMI ports on my laptop which doesn't have any). AND TODAY, after months of tearing my hair out, they finally admitted this : Thank you for the response. This is YY once again from Razer Systems Support. With regards to our previous conversation, I have forwarded your case to our senior specialist for further clarification and information about your device specs. And yes, we have confirmed from them that your device has already a thunderbolt 4 port on the right side, however, this can only accommodate one external monitor. This doesn't support two external monitors at the same time. With regards to returning the product, I would like to set your expectations properly that we only have 14 days return warranty period. As much as we want to process a refund for you, however, we are unable to do so since it is beyond the return coverage. i have a razer blade 2018 base model and the battery started to bulge. so i decided that I order a new one to replace it since im using this for my school/business works. i installed the new battery and it does not turn on. I have been very careful in the disassembly and assembly. i made sure that all of the connections are well and connected. i even worked in an antistatic mat. i also tried reinstalling the old battery and its the same but its being recognized by windows however when i unplug the ac, it turns off. any ideas on how to fix this? i cannot RMA it since online classes are still ongoing and from what i heard razer has a bad customer service. thank you!

Hey everyone, I got a Razer Deathadder Elite a couple of weeks ago, and yesterday I squeezed it in a small desk corner and during the night kinks formed on the wire, which I haven't been able to fix ever since. There is a very annoying drag on the wire and the kinks on the wire hook on to other things on my desks. These are just really hard curls that sometimes even loop. Does anyone know how to fix this? I would be glad if someone told me

I bought a type c to displayport and I got it to run the 144hz yay but now the vg248qe cant play warzone because its not supported by intel and my nvidia only connects to hdmi and wont input 144 hz any way to resolve this problem?
