I'm going for a micro-atx build but I'm unsure as to which case to buy. I'm considering going for the Fractal Design Focus G Mini but there's the Coolermaster Q300L that's 5 quid cheaper and I don't know which'll be better... But I'm also tempted to increase my budget and go for the Fractal Design Meshify C Mini or Define C Mini since these two cases both look really nice and have very good reputations in build quality and airflow. I really don't know so I need your help. Hi everyone! I am looking to upgrade my pc case from the NZXT h440 to something a bit more modern. I am open to sugestions but am kind of thinking the Corsair Obsidian 500d RBG SE or the Lian-li PC O11 Dynamic or the Phantex Evolv X. I would love to hear you opinions. Curently I am leaning towards the Evolv X because I like the idea of the dual pc mini itx mount. Thanks!

pc case ShadowBox: Phase I - Nothing But a concept.
KingShadowSkull posted a topic in Cases and Mods
I posted this in the Test Posts, waited over 24 hours, no response. Kinda just thought mods would look through them and approve the topics as they saw fit, didn't know if I had to request a review of it or not. If this post gets deleted as soon as I post it, I'll know. The ShadowBox is an ambitious project that aims to bring the portability of a console, without sacrificing the power and customization of a desktop PC. I am a long time PC and console gamer who has always wanted to build a PC inside a console case. But like Linus said in his Xbox sleeper video, the issue that is often run into is that every other build have either modified their case, sacrificed performance, or had to Jerry-rig their components to fit inside their case... But what if you didn't have to do any of that? What if there was a PC case, that felt like a console, but could hold all the gaming power you could ever want? 4k 144 fps games, without the hassle of having to make choices of less powerful hardware. Well that's where my case concept comes in, right now it's only just a thought, an idea if you will. I want to build a PC case, that can have a custom water-loop built in it, while still being able to house dual GPUs. But, is also small enough to be as portable as a console. I'm also thinking about adding a custom carrying case with foam to protect it from point A to point B and back again. There are currently 3 designs the "Retro" ShadowBox" aka the original design. A white variant of the original design. And a see-through version of the case called "Code-name:Bonez" which would allow people to show off their custom water-loop and their glorious RGB components. I am not here to beg for money, I am merely asking for constructive input and any ideas that would improve the design of the case itself. I'd prefer constructive criticism but if you hate the design I won't be too disheartened. Everyone has their own opinion. -
I need your opinion and any advice on the design below. It supports up to 2x 240mm Radiators, 2x 2.5 inch solid state drives, RGB Controller, Full Length Graphics card, SFX Power supply, and a ITX motherboard, with a custom res in the front. Both sides are tempered glass and the front IO is 4 USB's and 2 Type C connections with audio in and out. Any Suggestions?

My PC case and whatever if connected to it is conducting electricity which is causing me to get shocked from time to time since my mic arm is metal and my earphones is also metal. Is there a way I can fix this? And also is it bad for my PC for it to be doing that?

Troubleshooting - PC Case causing automatic restart.
Shahrukh Khan posted a topic in Troubleshooting
Hi, I have been facing a weird issue for the last few months. I have mentioned my specs below. My PC was working just fine. I built it all new in July 2018. After 2 months it was built I faced the issue with the power button. The power button had to be pressed almost 3-5 times to power on. Then almost 3 months ago when I turned off my PC and went away after a while I saw it powered on again automatically but it kept going through the boot loops. I switched off the main power and kept using the computer but after a while this issue kept showing up again and again. If I leave my PC connected to main power it'll keep powering on automatically. It's not AUTO WAKE UP on LAN issue as this option was turned off. I even removed the power headers from motherboard and it kept powering on automatically so not an issue with the power. So after alot of troubleshooting I finally teared the whole build apart and put it back together on motherboard box and tested all the scenarios and it was working like a charm with no issues. So it turned out to be my case is the issue now I don't know if it's the issue of power case leaking earth or it's an issue with the power button board. So what do you guys think might be issue? Is my troubleshooting result is right? and what should I do next? Thanks in advance. Hey all. so i have been looking to change my PSU ( as it is quite old ) and my Case ( as it has very poor cooling system ). I usually take it to a shop, but its quite far away from my home, so i figure i would do it myself. Now i have adequate knowledge of computer and its components, but i am just scared of 'breaking' something. that's what freaks me out, as i cannot afford any mistakes ( literally can't afford, as everything is hell expensive here ) Let me know if it is wise for me to do this stuff by myself Secondly, i need some help on choosing a case. Now we have a fair variety of cases available ( i will list some websites down below ) but i don't really know how to choose one that have enough space to fit my setup. I am listing my specs so you guys and gals can help me choose. CPU COOLER : The default one that comes with Ryzen 1500x GPU : Sapphire Nitro+ Rx580 8GB Motherboard : BATTLE AXE C.X370M-G DELUXE V14 The PSU i will choose is Cooler Master MWE 650 Gold, as suggested by @Juular i figure these are the main things that will have to considered when choosing a case. Also, i don't want to take out the GPU from the motherboard when moving the mobo to the new case. I know i'll have to detach the GPU from the case, but do you think it is possible to move the motherboard with the GPU still in place ? That's all i want to know. Thanks for any help you can offer. So ive got a game max expedition case, however this case only has one fan slot at the back and two at the top of the case so I wasn’t sure how to do the intakes and out takes for this can anyone help?

Does anybody have any interesting case recommendations for a resonable price (<$80)? I've been going through some, but nothing really compares to the NZXT and Phanteks ones for that price. If anybody has anything else of similar quality please link me to it, kind of tired of seeing the same cases everywhere.

So I'm planning on replacing my acrylic glass window with a stainless steel woven wire cloth/mesh(http://www.industrialmetalmesh.com/sale-10112309-t-304-stainless-steel-woven-wire-mesh-metal-mesh-screen-30m-roll-length-for-screening.html) after seeing how cooler my pc runs with the glass window off. I have a conventional balanced air pressure fan placement (2 intake, 2 exhaust) in a matx case (https://www.rakk.ph/Rakk-Anyag-Gaming-Case-Black/n/e8cc43742ef41bf114b0448bdefae0b27a338b56.html). Before, while gaming, I'm getting a gpu temp of 83 C and a cpu temp of 76 C in a closed case, but after removing the window, the temps dropped to 73 C and 65 C respectively. Do think this would be a good idea?

I'm starting my 2nd PC Build and I've used the Corsair 230T for the last 5 years which I found to be pretty mediocre (not the price though!). The 230T didn't have clearance for a 240mm radiator (top mounted) since it hit the ram and motherboard cooler. I had to shift the radiator a few holes which blocked a significant part of the fins. ~Even though the 230T says it supported 240mm Rads Build Plan Ryzen 5 2600X Gigabyte X470 Aorus Ultra Gaming Team - T-Force Delta RGB (2x8GB) ~40mm height Deep Cool Castle 240mm OR Cooler Master ML 240L RGB (Top Mounted) Gigabyte RX 580 GB EVGA - SuperNOVA G3 550 W Requirements / Wishes Tempered glass side panel ~ Gotta show off some RGB Support for 240mm radiator (roof mounted) PREFERABLY Rubber Grommets PREFERABLY PSU Shroud PREFERABLY 3x120mm fans in front (2x120mm would suffice) All for about $80-100 CAD Thanks in advance! Quick note - I looked into the Thermaltake View 22 but I've heard it was quite heavy and wasn't good for cable management ://

Hello! I have a problem, i don't have enough space for my HDDs in my current Case, so i want to Upgrade, but i don't know which are the best ones for my Setup at around or under 50€/50$. My Setup consists of following copmontents: GPU: RTX 2080 FE CPU: Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3,9GHz CPU Cooler: Wraith Stock Cooler Mainboard: ASUS B350M-A RAM: 2 x 8GB DDR4 OC'ed @ 2800Mhz PSU: BeQuiet! System power 8 500 Watts HDDs: 1 x 1TB Seagate Barracuda, 1 x 1TB WD Blue, 1 x 2TB WD Black, 3 x 1TB WD Green (this is the tricky part.) The Case shouldn't be bigger than a Mid-Tower, should have "ok" Airflow, a Sitepanel w/ a Widnows is only optional, but would be nice. And of course it should fit in all of the Components. Thx for any Recoomendations!

If you're looking at this, you're a Saint and I'll cut to the chase: I just liquidated my PC since I have an 8086k lying around back from Intels giveaway earlier this year. So I'm going to be buying this motherboard (buying it for that Sweet Thunderbolt 3 IO) and I'm looking at white cases for this motherboard to call home. I'm doing white since I prefer the look and also I'm being cute by having a white case like my wife. I can spend around $100USD, but with the Techie's Holiday (Black Friday/Cyber Monday) right around the corner, the Bang for the Buck is gonna be a Lot better, so I will gladly keep my eyes on several cases in order to get the best one. My biggest conflict thus far is deciding how white + silver will look together, and would love anyones input in this regard. Other than that, I'm buying in the US, system will be air cooled however I can upgrade from my Hyper 212 if necessary for thermals, otherwise go crazy with recommendations.

I am using Gigabyte B450m-ds3h motherboard and Cooler master masterbox mb500 cabinet. This case comes with three rgb fans preinstalled. It also has rgb controller. But i want to control fan color and color style via gigabyte rgb fusion app. The motherboard has 1 x cpu cooler LED strip/RGB LED strip header. Can i use rgb fusion with this motherboard to control my fans' rgb? If yes, how ? I have attached motherboard manual, if anyone would like to take a look. Thank you. Note: Please check the motherboard manual ( i've attached). mb_manual_b450m-ds3h_e.pdf

Problem: everytime I turn the pc on or off I would like the phone to turn in and off so the phone doesn’t explode and sit on for weeks on weeks. if I can get the problem above solved I will need a way to open the pc stats automatically when the phone turns on without entering the case to click the app, idk if this is possible but this would be a great project and I need some android users help as I am a Apple user myself gl everyone in your findings hopefully I can get some answers!

Hey everyone, I built my second PC back in February and I am currently using a Corsair 465x as the case for it. I do like the case it looks cool and everything but I built my brother's PC a couple months later in a Meshify C and I liked building in that case and I find it better looking than my 465x and have felt like I should rebuild my current PC with that case. I was wondering if anyone else has felt this way or if I should just stick with my current one.

Can you swap pc case by keeping everything in the motherboard and just unscrewing it to put it in the new case?
