So I have a case (black), and I have my setup. Now what I need? Some accessories. Where do I buy high-quality affordable LED Strips, cable covers, etc. P.S: I'm Canadian. P.P.S: My general color scheme is Black and Blue-LED (I have 2 fans with blue LEDs, that's about it)

Alright. I have searched everywhere for a Totourial and I haven't found anything on this. If you have used the g502 before with the software, you would have noticed the dpi lighting changes to green when you tune the mouse to your mouse pad. I was wondering if a good coder has learnt to code the driver to make that green permanent. There is probably a way because you activate the lighting from the driver and the green is also activated from it so if you could find a way to make that green perminent that would be great. This is for all good coders

My new Razer Deathadder Chroma that has a problem with the lighting where whenever I shut down and restart my PC, the lighting on the mouse no longer works. The lighting works before a system restart, and afterwards does not. Control over the lighting in Synapse 2.0 also does not work after a system restart. The only solution I have found is to unplug its USB cable and plug it back in, which is something that I don't want to have to do every time I restart my PC. The mouse works fine (buttons work, sensor works, etc), and the DPI and polling rate control in Synapse both still work after a restart. I have tried re-installing Synapse, updating drivers, and using a different USB port on my computer, all with no luck. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi, I am building a new machine for lighting visualisation purposes, the system will mostly be used for the software 'Wysiwyg' by Cast Software (http://www.cast-soft.com/wysiwyg/tip/view/selecting-hardware-for-a-wysiwyg-workstation). I only have £400 which doesn't need to include the monitor or accessories. I would like an SSD for the OS and HD for the main storage (probably 1TB) and at least 8GB RAM. If possible I don't want it to be in a massive case. Any build recommendations? Thanks!!

My corsair k70 RGB keyboard lighting freezes every time i open steam or origin and sometimes freezes to nothing at all. It is a known issue to a lot of people out there with the same problem but is it a software problem that can be solved on an update or is it a faulty keyboard that i should RMA?

Hi everyone, I have what I hope will be a relatively simple question to ask. I have recently finished building my pc, and I am wanting to put some LED strip lighting on the top and bottom of the case. I'll need 2 x 30cm LED strips, in white light and as bright as possible. Does anyone know where I can get these? I wanted to be able to plug them into a molex connector from the power supply, and I just wanted them to be at a set brightness, preferably quite bright, without a controller. Thanks in advance!

I have the motherboard listen in the title, however I've built a blue build which means the orange LED indicators kinda mess it up. The only ones that are anoying are the HD-LED(Indicating when SSD writing is beeing done) and the MBIOS-LED(Indicating that the primary Bios is running). Is there anyway to turn theese off? I don't really benefit from them and they really, as I said, mess up the lighting. Thanks!

So I've had my computer for a bit now and I want to add some lights to it. Show it off a bit, I wasn't sure what colour because I don't want the standard red or blue, something more unique. I have a Corsair 750D Case, any ideas of colours or where I could buy some lighting?

Yesterday I got my new K70 RGB keyboard and the Corsair Utility Engine was really buggy and I were not able to access the profiles so I force closed it and unplugged my K70. After that it worked and I added the EMP and MOBO/FPS profiles from here. Now everytime I boot up my computer it chooses to use the MOBO as default even though I chose to use the EMP as default. But that's just one of the small problems. After about 5-20 mins in after the boot up the lighting freezes and sometimes even chooses to change to the standard red color and I'm not able to change the brightness or do anything with the lighting and again I'm not able to access the profiles before I unplugg the whole thing

Hey guys, I've been looking at different products to help light the inside of my NZXT H440 (the blue black one). Still not decided on colors though blue or white is probably looking at here. I've looked at different rgb solutions from deepcool, which come with 2 strips a molex to 12v adapter and a wireless controller with remote. But this deepcool solution costs around $16 bucks which I feel is a bit of a rip off since all they did was buy a cheap strip and controller and slap branding on it. Should I just get individual parts off of amazon, or do you guys have any lighting suggestions? Also my components are mainly black besides the asus z97-a motherboard which has gold/bronze accents Basically, #1 do you think I should go with blue or white for led's or get an rgb strip #2 besides led lighting should I go with a cold cathode instead? #3 any lighting products out there you would recommend? #4 any places to grab rgb led strips with controller and molex to 12v cables on the cheap? Picture of case for reference:

Hey, i'm planning my new build. i'm pretty sure which parts i'm going to put in it, but there is one thing i keep changing my mind with. And i think some others have the same issue. I work for a light and sound company, so i'm busy allot around lighting effects and know a fair bit of RGB lighting. Corsair/Razer/.... brought us all the gift of their RGB peripherals so i wanted to go for a RGB themed setup. But for case lighting there isn't many options available for RGB lighting. Since i work with DMX controlled RGB fixtures, i created a passionate hate for the remote controlled rgb strips. I'm never going to use those. I wanted to go in the direction of the NZXT HUE. I hear mixed reactions about this thing. Some say its not worth the money and some say its doing its job. The 5.25" bay controller is also an issue because i want to use a NZXT h440, But some duck tape or Velcro will do the job. The controlling is easy with those knobs on the front but the level of "fantasy" you can put in it is limited(in comparison with the software of the peripherals). I'm curious what you guys think of this. The other option i have is to solder and code my own controller with an arduino/intel gallileo/..., some transistors, resistors and some standard rgb strips. But than the price and time put into it will go to damn high. The ideal option would be something like the NZXT HUE but than software controlled. to have the most customizability out of the strips (*nudge* *nudge* NZXT). Any of you guys have any more options, suggestions or just an opinion how i should takle this RGB PC lighting thing? Please feel free to let me know. Greetings Synergie P.S. sorry if this is in the wrong section, feel free to move

I recently picked up two 30 cm Darkside red LED strips. Promotional videos mention they are dimmable and can be connected to a fan controller. What is the best way to control case lighting? I am planning on using a NZXT Sentry Mix-2 Fan controller. However, the fan controller does not let fans turn completely off. My 5.25 bay capacity is full, but is there a good way to control case lighting from a PCI slot that include off/on, dimming features, and does not have a plethora of colorful wires? The led strips use 2 pin connectors, but included are 30 cm 2 pin to 3 pin adapter/extension. I went ahead and the questions in bold for people who don't want to read all that. Thanks, RedPanda

Hello! I have a razer death-stalker and I have a question. I may be called a noob in the world of keyboards for this but: Razer Synapse does not support reactive key lighting for my keyboard. Is there some program somewhere that will let me change this? It is capable of "breathing" and on or of as well as 21 different brightness settings, so why shouldn't it be able to have reactive lighting? Thanks for reading and your help!

Philips the Dutch electronics giant, said on Tuesday that it planned to split itself into two companies: one focused on health care and technology, and the other on lighting. The announcement is the latest step by Philips in an effort to reshape itself. Philips announced plans in June to spin off part of its lighting business its LED components and automotive lighting divisions into its own company The announcement came as Philips was hosting an investor day in London on Tuesday. Philips also said that it would combine its health care and consumer lifestyle businesses to form one company, which it has labeled "Health Tech" As a result of the changes, Philips expects to achieve about 300 million euros, or about $385 million, in cost savings by 2016, but also will incur additional restructuring charges of about €50 million. Health Care: The health care business has been focused around four areas: imaging systems, patient care information systems, home health care and health care transformation services, a new division started last year to help improve the operational and financial performance of hospitals and health systems. Consumer Lifestyle: The consumer lifestyle division has focused on technology products in the home like beard trimmers and home appliances. It has three business areas: health and wellness, personal care and domestic appliances. these two are being combined in order to form a Health tech department, the rest is being put under the Lighting , all other related electronics to this category.. PS: on a related news , Philips recently did a Hue light release just for the movie sharknado which would react to the scenes from the movie...Interesting... Anyways, The company expects to provide more information on the changes in 2015. Philips still plans to go ahead with a separate spinoff of its combined automotive lighting and LED components businesses, which accounted for about 15 percent of its sales in 2013. The spinoff of those business lines is expected in the first half of 2015. Rather dull news, No comments required , post whatever you like ... Anyone know of a 3.5 inch LED Lighting controller... similar to the NZXT Hue, but 3.5 instead of 5.25 inch?

I'm looking for the best (brightest, most colors/combinations, and longest lasting) RGB LED strip for lighting my PC. I was originally going to go with the NZXT Hue for lighting, but then I heard some people talking about Icemodz. Anyone else have any recommendations or thoughts on whats best?

how would i have these so they run off a molex plug? i have some plugs spare, would i just need to solder the two wires onto the +5V and ground pins on the molex plug? http://www.amazon.co.uk/JSG-Accessories%C2%AE-NEUTRAL-Flexible-Non-Waterproof/dp/B008ER6QE0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1396434230&sr=8-1&keywords=white+led+strip

Hey just interested to know what type of lighting people use in their homes? I recently made the switch to entirely L.E.D lighting as the bulbs are at a great price to performance ratio now. I chose 5600k high CRI (apparently 80-90) bulbs, they are GU10s and the standard bayonet type, originally I put the 5600k ones in my living room were I do most of my work, but ended up putting them throughout my apt, love how crisp they make everything look. I had CFLs prior to that which were great but but took a while to warm up and didn't last very long. So what do you guys use?

Updated Rig: 750D| Help with Corsair Lighting Kit
E.Beadle posted a topic in New Builds and Planning
My mother brought the corsair Lighting node kit for her new 750d.. I have everything up and running, wired management is fine. etc etc. What I need help with before installing this is what are some of the best places to put RGB lights to gain even lighting. She only purchased the one kit. I watched Linus reviews on how I can either put them on the backside of the case, the ceiling of the case or up near the window panel of the case. Any advice would be helpful. -
Good Evening I am planning to mod my case with cold cathodes and fans. I want to control them using a switch bay that i will order. I was wondering how to actually do them? ---Links--- http://www.frozencpu.com/products/7673/cpa-245/Lian_Li_Military_Switch_Baybus_-_Multi_Port_-_Black.html?tl=g1c143&id=hLaZvqT3#blank http://www.frozencpu.com/products/2989/lit-20/12_Cold_Cathode_Kit_Dual_Ready_-_Blue.html http://www.frozencpu.com/products/9303/fan-575/Cooler_Master_SickleFlow_120x25mm_Super_Silent_Fan_-_Blue_LED_-_R4-L2R-20AC-GP.html Thanks Guys, Happy Modding!

Hello there, I'm a long time lurker but first time poster, just made an account after being inspired by the recent Livestream and the builds of the week. I'm a relative novice to the modding scene but I have had 2 previous cases (NZXT Phantom and Lanboy Air) which ive done minor mods to. Now then, I've just bought a Corsair 300R as a sort of project case to mod and play around with while getting used to new ideas. I'll be slowly updating but for now i've installed a luminous red tinted top window in the case. I've also replaced the stock fans with Red 120mm Coolmaster Sickflow fans. I'm going for a Red Black and possibly White, although i will decide on that soon, Colour scheme. If the case turns out well and people like it, i'll more than likely transfer my build over despite the 300R being considered an entry level case. Here's the Picture of the case in its current state. http://i.imgur.com/xTBa6yH.jpg It still needs a bit of touching up, its not secure yet and needs some edges touching up jagged edges filing etc. In case anyone is interested these are my previous modded cases, nothing flash but meh. Phantom http://i.imgur.com/jqHMpQI.jpg Lanboy Air http://i.imgur.com/5CWPZJG.jpg Oh and apologies for the mess of wires etc! Let me know what you think and recommend some suggestions if you can, any feedback is good feedback. thanks
