Budget (including currency): 2000€ (Not really important) Country: Germany Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Exclusively for gaming. Mostly CSGO/CS2 at highest FPS possible but also the latest singleplayer games (Starfield, Phantom Liberty, Hogwarts Legacy etc.) at 1440p. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I am building the PC only, I already have all the peripherals including a 1080p 240Hz esports monitor and a 1440p 165Hz monitor. Planning to buy within 2/3 weeks. Waiting for October 10th as there is an Amazon prime day then. I don't care about Aesthetics at all. Smaller is better but thermals and performance come first. I prefer air-cooling. This is the current build I have in mind: PCPartPicker Part List: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/DkRW34 CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core Processor (€393.99 @ Mindfactory) CPU Cooler: Deepcool AK620 68.99 CFM CPU Cooler (€73.51 @ Amazon Deutschland) Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 GAMING X AX ATX AM5 Motherboard (€177.90 @ Alza) Memory: Corsair Vengeance 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory (€109.99 @ Galaxus) Storage: Samsung 980 Pro 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive (€128.99 @ Amazon Deutschland) Video Card: XFX Speedster MERC 319 Black Radeon RX 7800 XT 16 GB Video Card (€599.00 @ Amazon Deutschland) Case: Fractal Design Torrent Compact ATX Mid Tower Case (€138.15 @ Galaxus) Power Supply: Corsair RM1000e (2023) 1000 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply (€134.90 @ Amazon Deutschland) Case Fan: ARCTIC P14 PST 72.8 CFM 140 mm Fan (€6.62 @ Aquatuning) Total: €1763.05 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available I have been planning to build a PC for the last 6 or so months and have changed my mind about what to get A LOT. Originally I was going to build something in the much higher end range of things. (I actually impulse bought a 4090 a few months ago but ended canceling my purchase.) But after not having a PC for over a year now, I've found I don't have that much time for gaming these days anyways and spending 3000€ on a new PC seemed kind of stupid even though I could afford it. I'm still struggling to decide between getting the 7800 XT or the 7900 XTX. I don't know if it's worth paying 400€ more for the 7900 XTX. Is the 7800 XT powerful enough for my needs? (latest games @ 1440p high, no RT) Is the 7900 XTX a better choice for the long run? I've heard future proofing is stupid. As for the rest of the build. some parts I am unsure on are: Motherboard: prices for AM5 boards vary wildly and I no nothing about them so IDK if this is a good board to get or not Case: Are there any better cases around the 100-150€ range that I should consider instead? Power supply: These tend to have long warranties so I want to get something that will last me an upgrade or 2. Is what have a good option? Are there better options to consider instead. Fans: Should I get a 5 pack or will 1 exit fan be enough? Should I try to future-proof more? Feel free to suggest parts for any other categories or let me know if I'm missing anything. All suggestions, feedback and advice are appreciated!

Budget (including currency): 2k-2,5k € Country: Slovakia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: enthusiast gaming/streaming(OBS) at up to 1440/144Hz and amateur video editing/learning (DaVinci Resolve, etc) Other details: Hello, I am building a new PC for the very first time and would like to ask experienced builders if everything will be compatible. Main purpose will be enthusiast gaming/streaming with regular video editing which hopefully will become full time over the years. Price should be around 2k-2,5k € but the part picker has totally different prices because of my country (Slovakia/Europe) so there is that. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/hYyY6r I have already bought the CPU and GPU because they were at great price. Here are my main concerns: -CPU cooler and RAM clearance: according to this site it will not go well with the chosen RAM unless I move the fan but I am not sure if there will be space for it in chosen case and the last thing I want to do is to return and look for another cooler in the middle of building it since it will be my first time i would like everything to go as smooth as possible -how much cooling would I need since the base version of the case comes with 2x120mm but I want to go with more expensive version of the same case at local store which changes them for 4x120mm ARGB for only 20$ more -is it really worth to go DDR5 instead of DDR4 for this build: since DDR5 motherboards in my country are around 100$ more for the same quality and I don't want to downgrade VRM etc. and RAM costs are 20-50$ more depending on specs and the impact doesn't seem that big as far as I know PS: Do I need to worry about this note from partpicker because I'm not sure I understand it and can someone please explain it if it's a big deal for a first time builder: Note: The video card PCIe 16-pin power connector adapter is being supplied by three 6+2-pin power connectors. Please ensure that the three 6+2-pin power connectors are not daisy-chained and do not share the same power cable. Thank you for any suggestions and help.

The primary focus of this computer is for video editing of content captured from action sports cameras (insta360, GoPro), shot in 1080p and 4k. I have included a graphics card in my build list for power consumption and compatibility, but am planning to see how my current NVIDIA Quadro 4000 preforms before dropping the coin on a new graphics card. Budget (including currency): $3500 usd (I have already bought the entire thing) Country: The United States of America Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Warframe, Terraria, Minecraft, Ark, and some other games. (Most of those will be modded) Other details: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/fY4mhk (Sorry for how long this is I’m new to posting on a forum) This is going to be my first pc. I am upgrading from ps4/cheap laptop. I have been gaming for a while and decided to upgrade. I am a teenager in America and I have a small part time job. I’ve been working for this computer for over a year. I paid about $2200 usd of the total. My grandpa is a gamer and was really excited I was getting into gaming so he went nuts and bought me a lot. I plan to play 4K at 120 hz with gsync. I am playing on cheap keyboard, mouse, and headset. I plan to upgrade next year, even though I don’t know much about them. My power supply is low voltage for my build because it was specked before I picked out the cpu, but it should work. I plan to upgrade it to 1300 watts next year. I also plan to start buying corsairs custom water cooling kit late 2023 early 2024. I just want a little bit of feedback on my build. My cpu gets here on the 29th and the motherboard the 30th. I’ve watched over a hundred hours of builds and I’m gonna be on zoom with my grandpa. I will also have my dads friend who has built many pcs before.

Budget (including currency): $1800 AUD Country: Australia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: I'll be using the monitor for RPG and more graphically focused games will be played more than FPS, looking for 1440p in most if not all games. I'll also be running Adobe programmes for graphic design workflows. Other details I've already got a Dell S2721QS monitor which is 4k 60hz but will probably sell it for a 2k 144hz monitor instead. I don't need any other peripherals. I am basically upgrading from nothing as I have just been using an Asus laptop for very small games and simple workflows. Budget (including currency): $500-$1500 $USD (if it can stay closer to $1000 that would be wonderful lmao) Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: • Gaming mainly, some MMORPGs (FFXIV specifically), Minecraft, or other RPG/Open-world type games. I don’t play FPS games much so specs related to that aren’t that big of a deal to me. •Browsing and light school workload, like essays and that sort of thing •Potentially art programs like Clip Studio Paint Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I created a mock up of my build on PCPartPicker which I will link, but I’ll also put a list of it here as well List Link: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/cinnabunz/saved/WYrnpg •CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 3100 3.6 GHz Quad-Core •CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-L9i 33.84 CFM •MoBo: MSI B550-A PRO ATX AM4 •RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 X 8 GB) •SSD: Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1 TB M.2 2280 NVME •GPU: MSI Radeon RX 6600 8 GB MECH 2X •Case: Corsair 4000D Airflow ATX Mid Tower Case •PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA GA 650 W 80+ Gold Fully Modular ATX OS: Windows 10 Home OME 64-Bit I do have to say that I am still learning on how to look at specs for what exactly I need (which I do have LTT to thank for with their videos lol), but I do want some tips and critiques on how I can tweak this to get more power for less money. I’m planning on buying relatively soon, as I’ve noticed components have been going down in prices the past few days. I think really anything will be better than my HP Notebook I’ve been trying to game on for the past three years that gets max of 10 fps lol.

Hello, first time builder here, super excited to get all my parts here so I can start putting it together, I have been researching for about 6 months and saved up while I was doing so.. Since it's next to impossible to find a GPU atm and well my budget doesn't allow for it yet anyways il be using the integrated graphics until it's reasonable to buy either a 3060ti or a 3070. (Currently using a dual core laptop, i5 480m with igpu atm so il be fine Also since il just be gaming anyways is it really worth the extra $140ish Cad for the i7 10700K? Also I plan on OC to 5ghz, Part of my choice was due to price but after building I decided on some better matching components and a bit more Rgb but in the last couple weeks most of my components have went up like 30-40 bucks ffs, but o well Im happy with what I chose and super excited. I Already ordered my RAM and Aio which were on sale, and should have my Income tax in the next week to buy the rest. Sorry for the big write up I'm just super stoked! I am looking to game at 1440p on Ultra at 60 FPS. I have been looking at the new RTX 3070 as a possible candidate as far as GPU. So I've never built a PC before, but I've got a pretty good idea of how and how much I'd like to spend on one (thanks to LTT videos!!). I'm looking to spend Around £450 max, but I'm willing to go second hand for some parts. I already have 2 monitors, peripherals, an SSD and a HDD. Any advice on what I should change on this list?

This is my first build and I have run into some problems... My motherboard (B450 Tomahawk Max) won't light up fans won't start nothing... I really don't know what is going on and it really sucks. I have tested the power supply which is a Corsair CX500M, which should be compatible and it works fine. But when I put it into the motherboardboard nothing happens, the fan on the power supply won't spin either. I don't know if there is a compatibility issue, so I have listed the part below. All the parts but the GPU are brand new. CPU - Ryzen 5 3600 GPU -EVGA GEFORCE RTX 2060 ultra Cooler - Wraith Cooler included with CPU Motherboard - B450 tomahawk max Ram - 2x8gb Corsair Vengeance LPX SSD - intel series 660p 512 gb IMG_1108.3gp

AMD's Driver updates (20.2.2) have been out a couple days and I'm hearing good things. I'm getting close to choosing a GPU for my first build and I've narrowed it down to a RTX 2060 or a 5600 XT (Or a 5700/ 2060 super depending on sales and promotions at the time, but that's not important). For some reason i feel more drawn to the 5600 XT, i guess because of the price to power, but these driver issues are honestly scaring me away as a first time builder, I'm really just looking to build the thing and have it working fine and only really play with more technical overclocking down the road if i really feel a need to. And so far it sounds like the 2060 is a safe choice for that, but i still cant ignore the 5600 xt. So i'm asking how are these new drivers from AMD are treating everyone? Also, are the issues people are having happening more to people who upgrading to Navi GPU's or to fresh builds, or is it a pretty even mix? Sorry if i rambled a bit, thanks in advance for the response.

I want to start building my first PC today but I want to get some more advice. I'll link my parts below (note: I live near a Microcenter) I was going to grab my final 2 components Ryzen 5 2400g and the AsRock B450 PRO4. Someone on r/buildpcsales said I should get the Ryzen 5 1600 + RX 570 instead of the 2400g. But the reason I wanted to go with the 2400g is because I just wanted something for so light gaming (Apex, Warframe and maybe Destiny 2) and to use my elgato HD60S to capture and stream PS4 gameplay. I just want to know how long will that RX 570 be good enough. When I add all 3 parts to the cart on Microcenter it's around $277 I can push that budget to around $350 any recommendations please and Thank you sorry if I sound complicated above. I recently ordered 2 120mm rgb fans of newegg (https://www.newegg.com/p/1YF-00VU-00001?Item=9SIAHW79524719), and they came with 6 pin connectors and no fan controller, meaning that my b450 motherboard can't power them. What can I do? Do I contact the manufacturer? Do I just return them?

Hi! I'm trying to build a 1440p (Probably ?) gaming system around $800 to $900 and I choose following part lists using pcpartspicker.com . I'm happy with either a AMD or Intel build as long as it provide future upgrade path. I'm really happy to hear your suggestions. Thanks in advance? By the way I'll not do much overclocking. This is my first pc build and I am trying to switch to the master race so I have been looking at cpu’s and I found one on pcpartpicker.com and then I chose all my other components on the website and now have pretty good build in my opinion but, since this is a gaming rig I was curious if I could run 2018 games at 100FPS or more on 1440p on my build. Also do you guys think I need to upgrade my cpu cooler or case? Here’s my build link and please, feel free to edit or change it (as long as it remains resonably close to 1000$) PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant Type Item Price CPU AMD - Ryzen 7 1700X 3.4 GHz 8-Core Processor $149.99 @ Newegg Business CPU Cooler ARCTIC - Freezer 33 eSports ONE (Black/White) CPU Cooler $31.98 @ Newegg Motherboard ASRock - Fatal1ty X470 Gaming K4 ATX AM4 Motherboard $114.99 @ Newegg Memory G.Skill - Trident Z RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory $134.99 @ Newegg Storage Crucial - MX500 250 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive $52.89 @ OutletPC Storage Seagate - Barracuda 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive $58.89 @ OutletPC Video Card EVGA - GeForce GTX 1070 Ti 8 GB FTW ULTRA SILENT GAMING Video Card $389.89 @ OutletPC Case DIYPC - Zondda-W ATX Mid Tower Case $34.88 @ Newegg Power Supply Corsair - CX (2017) 550 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply $29.99 @ Newegg Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total (before mail-in rebates) $1088.49 Mail-in rebates -$90.00 Total $998.49 Generated by PCPartPicker 2018-11-16 00:04 EST-0500

So I am building my first pc ever and I've been given a decent budget from my good college results and I've settled on Asus z370 prime p I7 8700k Nzxt kraken x62 32gb quad channel memory (I'm not sure if I can use this configuration with an 8700k I've been told that I can do quad channel and it doesn't matter but I look on the spec page and see dual channel so idk what to do about that) Gtx 1080ti 850w PSU All inside of a nzxt s340 black and red edition case I know it's not colour coded with insane RGB but I'd like to stream 720p 60fps Is this a good build and with my memory config is that fine to use it will give me issues later on I do know how to install windows from a usb drive however if my motherboard needs a BIOS update that wouldn't be a problem would it I can just download the update and let it do its thing with a restart right?

Hello guys! I bought a PC 5 years ago. Recently my PC started to give me bugs and problems and now I need to upgrade (and btw my CPU died yesterday). Before it was a AMD radeon 770 HD series GPU, MSI FM2-A75MA-P33 motherboard and some kind of athlon 4 core 3.2 GHz CPU (don't remember which one exactly because it's already in my trash can). I have already swapped GPU and PSU. I got GTX 1050 4GB TI GPU and SeaSonic M12II 520 Bronze EVO Edition 520W ATX12V v2.3 PSU. For storage I have Samsung 850 evo 250gb and some kind of 1TB HDD (doesn't matter). Everything else I need to change (CPU, RAM, Motherboard). I was thinking about getting the Ryzen 5 CPU (still can't decide between 1600X, 2600 and 2600X, but im leaning more towards 2600X), GIGABYTE AB350M-GAMING 3 motherboard and G.SKILL RIPJAWSV 32GB 3200MHZ DDR4 CL16 DIMM KIT OF 2 F4-3200C16D-32GVK RAM. I was looking at PATRIOT VIPER 4 16GB 3000MHZ DDR4 CL16 KIT OF 2 PV416G300C6K. I don't care how much RAM memory i get for now but i know i'll want to upgrade later to 32GB. What are your thoughts if I go for Ryzen 5 2600X with that G.SKILL RAM? Or there are some better options in your thoughts. I don't want to spend too much money but at the same time i'd rather pay a bit exrtra so I wont get any unnecessary surprises later. With this upgrade I'm hoping to last at least 4 next years. Hopefully long time PC builder enthusiasts aren't getting a heart attack looking at my theoretical build. P.S. Sorry for typos if there are any. English was only my 3rd language i have learned. P.S.S. Everyone have a nice day!
