The man responsible for Unreal and Gears of War, CliffyB, who in 2008 explained that GoW 2 was not coming to PC because all PC players are pirates, has apparently had a change of heart. At the 2015 Game Awards he admitted he was wrong and that PC is certainly the superior platform. Coincidence that he is currently developing PC exclusive FPS? Maybe, but at least he had the cojones to admit he was talking a lot of shit. I'vs seen many 3D RC heli videos, but have never really seen any quadcopter ones. This looks soo hard to control vs a heli / plane. Makes me giggle just how rough he is with it.

It is a Source made game. Links at the bottom. The entire GoldenEye Source game is free. You don't even need Half Life 2 I think. It's not going to feel like Counter Strike. It's going to feel like N64 Goldeneye.

Dear Awesome People, I am in search of some good Sci-Fi games with sweet ass graphics. I could go on listing the space related games that I have played anywhere from Mass Effect, to Eve Online, to FTL, and others but I really am interested to see what the community thinks in terms of recent AND older games that has sweet ass looking graphics or really good sci-fi story lines. Throughout suggestions of some games I could jump into soon. Cheers, Canto666Hades

source: http://www.theguardian.com/technology/2016/mar/04/microsoft-monopolise-pc-games-development-epic-games-gears-of-war via: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2016-03-04-epic-boss-accuses-microsoft-of-trying-to-monopolise-game-development-on-pc just this week I posted an article that sheds some light on this whole mess that is Windows 10, DirectX12 and Universal Windows Platform here's what going on in yesterday's podcast (TechTalk #104) with JayZTwoCents, Barnacules (a former MS employee, now a independe SW developer) had some not so nice things to say about MS and their Universal Windows Platform ^ jump to 52min the rundown is this while a universal platform sounds good, for the PC gaming is rather (very) bad since it puts restrictions on the development and directly hinders the natural capabilities of DX12 apps trough MS' Store will run in borderless window, with V-Sync always on and capped at 60FPS on top of that, UWP introduces a lot of overhead, and reducing overhead that was the main reason why DX12 exists he also speaks of the possibility that MS one day could just remove the Win32 environment and will leave you (the consumer) with just UWP apps - just like Metro on W8 MircroSoft is a monopoly, and so, they can force whatever they envision onto their customers if HW manufactures, specifically AMD and nVidia, and game developers, do not come forward ,,, well, PC gaming as we know it, will be no more - every PC running Windows OS will be just another X-Box GabeN, praise his name, saw this with W8 launch - the result of that, STEAM OS the bad part .. STEAM OS is a pile of stinking shite I hope Vulkan and Linux game development takes a huge leap ahead, otherwise ..... rest in pieces --- update: MS replies to Sweeney's accusations via Kevin Gallo (corporate vice president of Windows at Microsoft) : ----

HNNNG For those of you who would go "but why?" the correct answer is always "but why not?" I stumbled upon this when looking to utilize my monitor's USB 3.0 ports, because I was thinking "what could I use that for?" I thought that was kinda epic.

Here it is. This is their Facebook post that alerted me to it. It was posted 8 hours ago (not sure when the actual sale started), so I'm assuming a 24 hour sale. Good luck. Edit: Here is Linus' video covering this product... @LinusTech, this may or may not be deserving of a tweet. I think it's a great deal personally since I never figured they'd lower the price this much.

I've been thinking of upgrading some of my peripherals and I can't make heads or tails of which mouse to get I'm thinking of the Deathadder or Naga (chroma) I know that the naga is wireless and is smaller (which is good since I've mostly used smaller mouses) but the Deathadder is cheaper and doesn't add any mor useless buttons I DON'T NEED, but is wired (which might not be as a big as a problem than I think. Plz help MRE

So. I think that I can build a laptop. I am not positive, though. Nvidia sells this: http://www.amazon.com/NVIDIA-DEVELOPMENT-PROPRIETARY-Motherboards-CD575M/dp/B00L7AWOEC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1405346896&sr=8-1&keywords=nvidia+jetson+tk1. (I'll use the Tegra X1 version if it comes out). Wouldn't be too hard to do. All I need to do is put Velcro on and SSD and use the sata port, make a custom metal chassis, take a panel from a monitor and use the HDMI port and then put a keyboard in. Oh and I'll use a standard rechargeable DC battery. Holly shit. I can do this. The only hard part will be the case. Wait... I CAN 3D PRINT IT. I AM SO FUCKING SMART. Sorry. And then I can put some ram in there too. I would love to here some feedback on this

Hi guys, I'm posting here to spread the word a bit (since this requires community participation to be awesome). Here is the Reddit thread about it (which I will post the relevant stuff below this). Be sure to get the Beta Steamworks version of Dark Souls 1 to use that instead of GFWL. It's just better. If you need a guide, here's a guide: Then set your download region to Finland to bypass Region locking. Here's a guide for that: Gravelording is a NG+ only (usually) thing and is awesome fun in Dark Souls PVP. I highly recommend attending this event. An actual time will likely be posted later. Share this with as many people as you can and be sure to sound off in this thread if you have interest in doing this. It is going to be fun.

So earlier today, I was taking my dog out for a walk. Seeing as it was a pretty nice day, I decided to extend the walk and ended up walking through my school's parking lot. When I was about to exit the parking lot, I spotted the van that the tech department uses and noticed that it had a computer mouse dangling from the door. After I proceeded to laugh my ass off, I took my dog home then got my camera then rushed back to the parking lot (5 minutes away from my house by walking). I then got these pics. My fooling around led me to discover that it actually was not secured in and that I could pull it out. I was disappointed but not surprised that the usb end of it was cut off of the mouse. I then thought that I should look into the van so see what stupidity I would find. Instead of being entertained, I was horrified. The pictures speak for themselves. This actually infuriates me. This is too many hard drives to just be broken crap. The fact that they have a motherboard (from a type of computer that is used commonly in the school on the floor of the van, unsecured, under a few hard drives, with a CPU EXPOSED on it really makes me mad. Also, the cpu heatsink looked to have been BROKEN OFF of the motherboard

Situation I'm planning on buying a brand new motherboard and CPU to replace my old 1045t and low end mobo. I don't have a whole lot to spend, up to $110 for the motherboard, and I'll be getting the 4670k along with it. I'd really hope to find a good motherboard for less than $100, but if it's a little over, then that's fine. I'm not looking to get any bigger than the "ATX" size. Requirements 4 RAM Slots Max 16 GB supported Size ATX (Mid, maybe?) or less LGA1150 (Doh) Preferred (But not required), mainly for future upgrades. Crossfire support (Lowest priority out of all of these though) 32 GB Max RAM supported 4+ RAM slots 2133 MHz RAM supported Z87 Good overclocking capabilities Additional Info I'm asking on the forums because although there are a few motherboards I have in mind, the mass amounts of "DOA" and 1-3 egg reviews scare me a little, especially since I don't know a whole lot about motherboards, just a few features.

hello everyone! i´m in desperate need for help. where can i begin... i bought a razer naga epic mouse and its been giving me problems since day 1. my pc is running windows 7 ultimate x64 and it won´t recognize the mouse and it will give an error that says "usb device not recognized" and mark it as "unknown device" in devices and printers. i returned the mouse in exchange for another in case it was DOA, but the new one gave me the same problem. since then i did everything i could think of: updated bios, chipset, every driver on my pc and am still getting negative results. downloading the razer driver or synapse doesn´t resolve anything because it does not detect any razer device (since windows doesn´t even know what device it is). i am out of ideas and need help. my motherboard is an -ASUS P8H61-M LE (H61 B3 Revision), processor: intel i3-2100 3.10GHz, 8GB ram, Graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti. thank you for everything in advance, and let´s see if we can solve this together.

EPIC GLITCH!! Titanfall Beta on Intel HD Graphics 4600! This is hands down the most epic glitch that I have ever seen in any video game. If you know of one even more epic than this, please enlighten me.

Hey guys, I thought about starting a thread where people could tell the stories they'd heard or experience about people modding their computers in extreme and interesting ways. If there's already a thread with this general idea/theme, feel free to merge it. I'll start: My supervisor (IT manager) apparently once took a Mountain Dew can, and using a blow torch, melted one side of it down then let it cool in such a way as to create a flat surface as a heatsink for his CPU. He then cut off the opposite side so that it was like a cup and sanded the surface to a mirror shine. Then he attached it to his CPU (sitting horizontal on a bench) with thermal grease and put dry ice in the cup. He apparently got a 1GHz CPU to 4GHz this way until all the dry ice melted and the whole system failed with the CPU going up in smoke. This was intentional (he expected to break the thing), but was simply for fun with spare parts left lying around. I thought this was baller level modding. Particularly the way he did the can with dry ice. What are your stories? They don't have to be as crazy/epic as this, but preferably on topic/similar. Thanks, Vitalius. P.S. My IT manager is old enough to have seen the whole "internet revolution" play out in full from the beginning. He once owned a Commodore 64, worked on ARPA net, and even got to use a Mainframe computer at his university when he was 19-21. Right after they had upgraded from punch card computers. He's seen some ... stuff. lol
