Hello I have a N100 Mini-pc that I would like to have running in a remote location. Is miracast 2 the best way to connect it wirelessly to my main monitor? Is there other alternatives or free ones?

Hey guys, Quick question - I want to buy a sub for my setup, specifically PreSonus Eris Sub 8, but I want to connect it to my PC via a motherboard center/subwoofer channel - is it possible? What sort of cable do I need for that with that specific subwoofer? I currently have PreSonus Eris 3.5 monitors connected to my MOBO and a Sonos Ray with a S/PDIF. MOBO is an Asus Crosshair X670E Hero.

Hey! Without changing anything or going into any internet/router settings my connection in games started breaking. I tested with different games so it's not a one game issue. For example, in Fortnite I can run around and play the game like normal before all of a sudden the connection is lost and I'm sent back to the main menu. The same thing happens in Discord when in a voice chat with friends, all is well and then it lags without any warning. I'm connected via LAN from a WiFi extender (Speed Home Wifi - Telekom), this has not been an issue for about three years now. What is strange to me about this is that at no point does my internet connection break. I can load websites, watch videos, etc. I even had Fortnite going in the background and as I was browsing around and the game "lost" it's connection while everything else loaded without an issue. Does anyone have an idea of what could be causing this? Maybe someone knows a diagnostic tool I can run or something? I'm really confused and it's very annoying. Thanks in advance and please feel free to ask any questions that might help you to help me! :)

Hi, I'm planning to buy a sideboard from ikea (see picture) and I'm concerned about possible connectivity issues with my ps5 due to the sideboard being out of metal mesh. Does anyone have any information about connectivity issues with Bluetooth and WiFi on a ps5 in a metal mesh box? Cheers

Hello, here is my issue (sorry for grammar, second language): So when playing CS:GO my ping is usually around 50 like always, but when playing on specific servers (Faceit or Community owned servers) my ping spikes to 150 for like 5 seconds then it goes back to 50, it happens randomly while playing on these servers but it happens every few minutes. When playing on official CS:GO servers owned by valve my ping is normal and there are no spikes at all, it literally won't move above 45. I also noticed some lag while playing League of Legends, so it's probably the same thing happening. I also downloaded Valorant to test my ping and it's the worst out of all, constantly jumping between 30-150, even worse than CS:GO where it's just sudden spikes for a couple of seconds. Things i tried to fix this issue: - Switch off modem and router for hours and restart them. - Reset my original router to factory settings. - Full, clean windows reinstall (formatted every drive). - Windows is on a completely separate SSD. - I changed the cables going from the modem to my router and the one going from the router to my pc to brand new ones. - I tried a different router, already with the new cables, no change at all. - I reset my network settings in windows 10. After this I switched off my modem and router for a couple of minutes and restarted them, and my ping was normal after this network reset on all of the servers I had issues on. But after like half a day the high ping was back. I did the network reset several times and it always helped but only for half a day. - Internet speed tests on different websites show that my ping and connection are fine. - I did a ping test to my router and it seems fine. - When I do ping tests to foreign websites there are huge spikes and timeouts while pinging. - I called my ISP several times, and explained everything in detail, and they just send me a message at the end of they day, saying they fixed the issue (nothing changed at all, even after restarting modem and router). - I have no idea how long this problem existed, because I only started playing again recently, a couple of weeks ago, and I didn't notice any other problems while browsing the internet, watching videos and other stuff. As I can recall my ping in CS:GO was perfect in march, this year on all of the listed servers, community owned or not. Thank you for your help.

Hi everyone, So here is the thing. Right now I am at home using my PC. I am connected to the internet provided by my ISP which is named as City Cables. I have a friend who lives in my city but in a different area. He is at his home and has a laptop. He is connected to the internet using some other internet. We both are on different networks basically. I want to connect to his laptop from my PC via REMOTE DESKTOP CONNECTION to do some work. If we were using the same internet service, it wouldn't be a problem but we are on different networks. So what can we do to achieve this? We have already enabled the Remote desktop connection settings and we have connected to each other machines before as well when he visited my place, but unable to connect from different networks. I know there are other solutions present as well besides using the Remote desktop, but IS there any way to set up remote desktop in our scenario? Regards.

Hi LTT community! I feel like I have reached the peak of my knowledge of trying to figure out why some sites I try to access just won't connect. There are specific sites (major one is where I go to pay one of my bills) that result in connection reset errors on both Chrome and Firefox. I can access them from my Macbook (Safari and Chrome) but not here on my PC. I tried releasing/renewing my IP, flushing the DNS, and manually applying public DNS servers multiple times - Nada. I've even tried flushing Chrome's host cache and clearing bad proxies. I haven't touched sockets or DSPs in Chrome yet, though. I did mess with Firewall settings for a Diablo walk a while ago but I restored the settings to default. Since I run NordVPN on both machines, I don't suspect it to be the culprit. But if it does, here's some insight: My active networks consist of my home private network connected via ethernet and NordLynx2 public network connected via the NordLynx protocol. Neither networks are connected to IPv6, just 4. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks! An aside: I've also recently been having issues with chatGPT where I can input my text but "an error occurred" is returned via the chat, not sure if the two are related as this just started happening on this machine. Works on my phone and laptop, though. Would be nice to get that back up, too :)

I have an old NEC ready 330T and the last owner removed the HDD. Unfortunately in the process they also removed the little adapter/riser needed to plug in a HDD and I have no idea where to find one. Anyone have any idea what this connector is and where I can get a riser/adapter? I presume it's just a standard I'm unaware of.

My boss has tasked me with trying to set up a projector for movies (Amazon prime etc) in the care home I work for in the UK We are looking for reasonable ceiling mounted projector but at a reasonable cost as this is funded by charitable funds. so recommendations for a suitable device would be appreciated the second part concerns connectivity, we have wifi 5 in the proposed area our laptops are 10th gen i5 with thunderbolt and mini hdmi running cables would be about 6metres, our initial thought was to connect the projector to a trunked cable (male to female) to prevent our lovely customers getting hold of the cables and pulling, but I am unsure the range HDMI or thunderbolt will go without degrading the signal Any advice would be useful

Hi everyone, I bought an used Omen obelisk 875 PC and I am having important connection drops each 30-40 seconds. This occurs with every wifi connection even if the signal is good. here follows a screenshot of the command "ping -t 8.8.8.8" I ran to verify. I kindly ask for help troubleshooting the possible cause, thank you in advance.

Hi! I just got a new monitor to use as a 2nd, it's a Dell P2222H. My GPU is an iGame RTX3060. My 1st monitor only has HDMI connection and my GPU only has 1 HDMI output so, I connected the 2nd monitor through a DisplayPort. Now, the quality is very bad. I've tested the Dell with HDMI and looks ok, so, is there a chance that it's just a bad DP cable that makes the image looks so bad? I have every driver updated. Thanks! (in the images, the one that has a black background is the good looking one)

Hey everyone, I've got a weird issue with one of the PC's in my home. It suddenly stopped being able to access youtube.com. It gives me a ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED I can ping youtube.com from cmd. And the other devices (iphones, TV, other desktop) can browse to youtube just fine. I can browse all other sites fine, just youtube is a problem. The only abnormal thing about this PC is it runs my Emby server. But I tried shutting down the server just in case and still nothing. I've tried: erasing browser data and cache tried 3 browsers (chrome, Edge, Firefox) tried windows connection troubleshooter (no issues found) flushed my DNS cache in windows changed DNS to google 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 rebooted my router disabled and re-enabled my network card I've run out of things to check and this is really confusing. Any suggestions?

So I've been trying to get access to my FileZilla server from another network and I was able to connect the normal way but it wouldn't load my files. I found an old post on this issue on stack overflow where they solved it by using SFTP. I started trying this but now I'm completely unable to connect to my FTP server. What could I possibly try now? Thanks in advance

Oculus 2 has WI-FI video transmission, which would be nice to use. Unfortunatelly for some reason I cant use it. I can play without any problems via USB-C cable (or previously via USB 3.0). But when I tried to connect my Oculus to PC via app, it just doesnt see my PC. I have everything I need to play like that, yet it cant find PC/Oculus. Any idea what may be the problem? I already tried to uncover my pc (since is set as if it was on public network) but couldnt find PC anyway. Tried also with laptop, which is supossedly not able to run VR games but they work just fine, but even laptop on same WIFI couldnt find my oculus. I do have wifi split into 2,4 and 5g and PC is connected via cable. Any idea what may be the problem? Already tried oculus support but that helped with nothing..

So I wanted to try and start a Terraria Server with my friends because I felt that it would be easier if my friends got on when they wanted to and not need me to do it. So I followed a guide that pointed me to the ip for my network provider (Frontier) and I went into the Firewall Section, then into Port Fowarding, logged in and basically followed what the guide told me So after I followed that step, Immediately after my Lan connection stopped working. Thankfully my rig has wifi that I can use but it makes it a pain as it can randomly disconnect and my ping can be very explosive. From my troubleshooting, I figured out that the Lan cable works with a separate computer I have from a lended friend and the connection works just fine. I decided to reinstall windows 10 in the hope of fixing the issue but it has done nothing. I'm left very confused on where to go from here so any help would be greatly appreciated. I have also followed the process of opening CMD as an administrator following the process of Netsh... to try and I guess reset the ip but it hasn't done anything after I've restarted.

So out of nowhere , my internet started being buggy. I didn't switch different wi-fi networks or anything but somehow it was just buggy for certain application. For example, I'm not able to join my friends when playing Risk of Rain and Halo Infinite. For Risk of Rain, everytime I tried joining my friend, I would get a black screen and it would just kick me out. It would not let me join or play. I tried to think over it and the only problem I see is my network. And its only these 2 games that it wont let me connect to the game and wouldn't let me join my friends. For halo infinite, It just said that I get disconnect form the game server or get timed out. I don't know why my network is like this. Just recently the biggest trouble is that whenever I try to join a world on Elden Ring or when other people try to join me, they would get timed out. Anyone familiar with this issue? .I run a NETGEAR router, the NETGEAR Nighthawk R7000P, and I've tried to look at the setting for unusual settings, but I don't know how to fix it. I tried factory resetting my router the other day and for a solid hour to hour and a half, it worked and let me join my friends in Risk of Rain and Halo Infinite. I don't know what these 2 games have in common, but they just wont let me join my friends to play it. I don't know if Its a port forwarding issue or if its something else. Let me know your input, anything is appreciated. Thank you!

Hi there people. I got a Divoom Ditoo Plus speaker last year and it suddenly started having issues. Every time I turn it off and on, it wants me to pair with my phone again. It's like it resets it's Bluetooth settings every time I turn it off. Also, the artworks in the community app can't be applied as the speaker gets stuck in the loading. Does anyone know a way to factory reset this speaker? Thanks.

I recently had issues with my computer's connectivity in this post. It worked fine for a little while after, but for the past couple of months, I haven't been able to put my computer to sleep as it would disconnect from Ethernet and wouldn't reconnect. I use powerline adapters (Tenda P6 Powerline Adapter), and I've noticed that they turn off when the computer goes to sleep, but even when they don't do so I still have the disconnecting problem. For a bit of time the commands shown in this video helped solve it, but they're not reliably fixing the problem anymore.

Hello "Long time listener, first time caller" I have, as probably everyone else watching LTT, build a home rack with my coumputer, NAS and a Ubiquiti UDM-Pro. I'm a enthusiast trying to learn and become better with networking, some pentest and IT security. The system and the network worked perfectly for the last six months. I'm really happy over UDM and its possibilities. Couple of weeks ago I had a power outage at home, lasted approx 20sek. Everything started/booted up again, no problems......except for my UDM. I have tot 4 LAN networks and 3 WiFi network attached to the networks. NETWORK: Zytronix_MAIN: 192.168.0.1/24 (also GW) Zytronix_IoT: 192.168.1.1/24 Zytronix_Guest: 192.168.2.1/24 (disabled) Zytronix_Wifi: 192.168.3.1/24 WIFI: Zytronix --> Zytronix_Wifi Zytronix_IoT --> Zytronix_IoT Not_your_home --> Zytronix_GUEST (Disabled) Unifi OS UDM Pro 1.10.4 UDM IP: 192.168.0.1/24 The Udm has internet connection, can perform a speed test and all of my Wifi network/units has internet connection. So I can browse the web with my wifi network. All of my wired units, directly to the Udm on the Zytronix_MAIN network, they cannot browse the web. My computer are connected to the network, I can access my NAS and UDM locally. My UDM discovers/Identifies my wired units and DHCP gives them an IP. No problem, yet no internet access. The issue is my Zytronix_MAIN. Previously my Zytronix wifi was attached to the MAIN network and I had the same issue as my wired units. So created a new vlan network, the Zytronix_Wifi and attached the wifi to it...and then I had internet access on my wifi. Don't know why, but that worked.... I have firewall rules blocking IoT access to the MAIN network, but not vice versa. That's the only firewall rule I have, every other rules came with the configuration. I use Unifi threat manager, works flawlessly so far and it has blocked a lot of intrusion and sniffing attacks. So I don't know what's the issue, everything should work. For the last 2 weeks I have tried to troubleshoot this on my own. Yes, I have checked the latest firmware, tried to reboot UDM and the computer. I haven't preformed a factory reset, mainly because I want to learn, how and why this occurred. Sooo......help, please?

Hi, Today I started building a pc for my dad until i found out my system fan connectors do not fit the system fan headers on my motherboard. So far I've tried everything I can think of, and nothing has solved the issue, ehich is why I came for help here. The motherboard i am using is the Gigabyte Aorus B560i pro AX. You can see the headers, as well as the fan connectors on the pictures attached. I'd be extremely grateful for every tip/solution.

I’ve been having a problem with my Pc for a while know. Sometimes the internet connection just goes away and even unplugging the LAN and plugging it back in doesn’t help. The Pc shows that there is still a connection but I can’t open websites or anything. I’ve seen some online tutorials where people say you need to deactivate some power saving features but it doesn’t work for me. Does anyone have a solution to this? (Sorry for bad English, I’m German.)

Hello again! I have 3 old computers built as minecraft servers using MineOS, one is modded and the other one is vanilla. I want to create a hub using the 3rd computer. First of all, is that possible to use a computer as a hub to connect to the other computers?
