  1. My pc is acting funny and i think i messed it up so i went in my ASUS UFEI BIOS UTILITY and messed with some stuff and when i pressed save and restart and I got a bsod pls help me
  2. Hey all! Just recently got a new build finished. It was actually an upgrade of my mate's previous build (3 months old). Specs are: AMD B550 gaming gen3 (ms-7b86) AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core Processor 32.0 GB DIMM4 RAM NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 850W PSU Previous he had a Ryzen 7. I made sure to update the BIOS prior to the CPU switchover. Essentially everything in my system is running fine UNTIL I use iTunes? Summary of steps I have taken when I got my first BSOD event to determine where the fault is. 1) Wiped the computer and everything was operating smoothly 2) Made sure all drivers were up to date 3) Made sure there were no disk errors 4) Ran a RAM test - ended up clean 5) Temperature of the system was steady and the fans are working perfectly I have ordered another PSU just to see whether a 1000W would be able to handle the sudden spikes in processing (currently on it's way to me). Allow me to elaborate below - I have around 12000 songs on iTunes that I'm wanting to download into my C drive from the cloud. If I have the downloads happening in the background and open up another program or do anything else, the system has the potential to crash at any second. I also ran a test where I uninstalled and reinstalled and just let iTunes run on it's own and download with no other programs running and it would freeze. As soon as I try to uninstall it for the second time, it glitches and BSOD occurs mid uninstall!! Which then led to a series of BSOD upon reboot. I restarted in safe mode and removed residual files so it is all good now. I have linked images of the most recent errors that I have receved and also attached the minidump files if an expert can be so kind as to help me out (I will literally pay anyone that can help me solve this one) I have also read that my specific event (LiveKernelEvent 124) is related to the CPU, but I literally have no idea how that could be since it operates everything else just fine. I can game with no issues, run large programs, just everything except iTunes (for now anyway). If anyone has any advice, that would be GREATLY appreciated and again, anyone who can assist will be rewarded! 040323-6921-01.dmp 040423-6640-01.dmp 040423-6921-01.dmp 040423-7250-01.dmp 040423-7781-01.dmp
  3. So work gave me a brand new HP Spectre to use. For the most part, it has been a pretty solid laptop. Just multiple times throughout the day it gives a BSOD for [VIDEO_DXGKRNL_FATAL_ERROR]. It's been a few days of troubleshooting now and I can't seem to figure out why it's happening. I've looked up and followed the most common steps both provided by the BSOD and other forums. Edit: For clarification I work in the IT department. I'm just trying to get some extra help. Hardware Specs: Software Specs: Attached is a link to the Sysnative Dump. Resource Performance Monitor didn't want to finish after 60 seconds though so I don't have any data for that. Troubleshooting I've done so far: Ensure all windows updates are done (including a preview update but this issue was happening before that update was installed too) Updated arc drivers [clean install]. Updated Intel drivers for cpu and graphics [clean install]. Removed and re-installed display drivers. BIOS and Firmware updates. Safe Boot Clean Boot DISM - no faults Windows Troubleshooting - no faults CMD > sfc/scannow - no faults I haven't performed a complete re-image of the laptop as I'm hoping I won't need to, but it's looking like the only option left. Ironically while making this post I haven't had an issue... dump.txt
  4. Hi all, I have a puzzling situation. My gaming PC that I built is crashing when I'm playing games and when I close out of games. The crashes come in the form of BSoDs. The most recent stop codes I've been seeing are "MEMORY MANAGEMENT" and "irql_not_less_or_equal" with the ntoskrnl.exe failing. I will note that the crashes only occur when the system is under load (playing a game). I ALSO noticed that my CPU temps under load get EXTREMELY hot, as in mid-90s hot (using the stock CPU cooler), so I'm not sure if that would have anything to do with it. Here comes the weird part... After the PC attempts to restart, it fails the reboot because of an error screen that reads "Over Current Has Been Detected On Your USB Device!! System will shutdown after 15 seconds to protect your mainboard!!" It will persist after multiple attempts to restart, but after 5-10 minutes of being turned off, I'm able to turn my PC back on. My Specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700x (no OC) GPU: EVGA RTX 2070 XC (no OC, latest drivers) RAM: 16 GB Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR4 @ 3000 MHz (no OC or XMP Profiles that I know of) Motherboard: MSI MPG X570 GAMING EDGE WIFI (I suspect this could be the culprit, as I purchased it as an open-box unit from Microcenter back in 2020, and I remember having to manually bend a pin on the USB 3.0 header on the board) PSU: Corsair RM1000x 80+ Gold (purchased at the end of 2018) To add more context: Other odd happenings are that my PC rarely just randomly restarts while using it. The restarts don't happen too often, but there have been multiple instances where I'd walk away from my PC and come back to find it restarted and everything I had open was closed. I think I ran a memtest a few months ago that stated hardware problems were detected. I would immediately think my RAM is the culprit, but why would that cause the USB Current Overflow? So bottom line is that I suspect it's my motherboard and possibly my RAM, but before I spend any money, I would really like to make sure I replace the correct parts. I do want to upgrade, but I need to know where to start. If anyone needs more info/context, please feel free to ask. If someone could please point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.
  5. System: i7 9700k RTX 3070(NEW)/RTX 2080S(OLD) ASrock z390 phantom gaming 4 xpg 3000 8g X2 crosair rm650x(new)/high power hp1 650 80+ gold(old) Hi, guys. recently had to change my motherboard due to a surge(or other reason) that made it unable to detect ram. The new motherboard is just a touch wider then the old one(Asrock z390 phantom gaming 4, the original is 4S). As the result, I had to physically push the case of the mounting rail of the GPU to make some rooms to install the GPU, and there was bearly any tension when installing the GPU after that. I have then lightly overclocked the CPU(+100mhz) and the GPU(+50mhz). The system passed the stress test at the time. But about a month into it, the computer would shut down when playing a few hours of the new hogwartz game. then the situation escalated quickly, now the system will shut down with 2 minutes of GPU load, but it can run 30 minutes of cinebench ok. I have tested a new power supply and a new GPU, the problem still occur. Please help. Somehow there are only two minidump being created for this problem, despite it happening a few dozen times. So, I posted this on microsoft's forums, and I was helped by Dave who is an independent advisor. here's the link if you want to read it there. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-power/kernel-power-error-4163-bsod-when-under-gpu-load/ebe8b9af-687c-441d-bc02-aac4929f4b53?messageId=969a29c4-ccb6-460b-9fc4-e38a8c1cf604&page=2 I then tested a new sets of ram, the system wouldn't post, swap backed to the old one, ran memtest86, they passed. I performed the diver verifier test and the minidump said It was a faceit anti cheat problem. I deleted that and nothing fixed. I did a clean reset windows today and updated nvidia driver, the problem still occurred, so I ran the driver verifier again, the latest minidump is 032623-4734-01.dmp . I have already ordered a new motherboard on ebay which will arrive this week, But please let me know if there's anything I can try to fix this. Thanks!!!
  6. So i did a system restore to fix an issue i had with my pc’s microphone and after i did i came to the scan repair loop with the blue screen. I have tried the following: - scan repair - cmd panel with youtube suggestions - tried to reset my computer to factory settings but it wouldnt let me - I tried to do a system restore but it says that none of my past restorations have windows 10 I was wondering if maybe reinstalling windows 10 from a usb would do anything but i need specific help on how to set that up because i do not want to make this matter any worse. If i were to boot windows through a usb with the windows media tool would i have to do anything prior in doing so like in the command panel? Please help i need my pc for school work i have.
  7. Hello, So recently I upgraded from a Ryzen 1600 + B350 to a Ryzen 5600x + X570. I was excited and in a rush, didn’t bother to back up my boot drive. Here I am 9 hours later. So I had the NVME in the PC, it booted to a BSOD with error message “Critical Service Error.” Thought it was a driver issue so I booted to safemode and it worked! While accessing my desktop, I thought the issue was drivers so I downloaded Asus Armoury and upgraded them. After a restart and then a shutdown, I was greeted with the second BSOD, “Kernel Data Inpage Error”. Thought I’ll try safemode again, didn’t work. I grabbed my USB with Windows Installation to reinstall windows, but I can’t do that without deleting my data. I don’t want to do that. My recovery options are limited and I tried using CMD, but it won’t let me use commands. My windows is on a drive called X: and C: is completely empty. It also says there are no windows installations. I seriously appreciate your guys’ help in advance. Thank you all for your time and dedication to this forum. Pictures are below.
  8. Hello guys! I am a relatively new PC builder and recently decided to upgrade from my current build and build a new more beefy one. I am currently running: AMD Ryzen 9 5950x (stock) Zotac Gaming Trinity RTX 3090 (stock) ROG Crosshair VIII Hero Wifi 64gb Gskill Trident Z Neo 3200mhz Sabrent 2TB Rocket Q4 NVMe PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280 A 6tb 5400rpm WD Blue HDD Seasonic Focus-PX 850w 80+ Platinum PSU Ive also got a h100i elite capellix 240mm AIO cooling the cpu, and its in a corsair 4000x case. Ever since booting into windows, I have been plagued by seemingly random BSOD all with the same error. Attached are examples of the messages received. I have tried wiping the drives and reinstalling windows, re-seating my hardware minus the cpu, to no avail. Sometimes it works for 5 minutes and BSOD, sometimes it works for 8 hours and BSOD. My System: MOBO - GIGABYTE Z390 Gaming X CPU - Intel Core i9-9900K CPU Cooler - Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO V2 GPU - 2060 RTX RAM -HyperX Fury 16GB 3200MHz (HX432C16FB3K4/16) PSU - Corsair RMX Series, RM750x Storage - WDS100T2G0A My Problem: I upgraded my CPU and motherboard. Been trying to install Windows back on it, but I've been getting BSOD either before getting to the Installer from my USB, or sometimes during the install. The farthest I have got, is Second to last W10 install step. What I've Done: I've replaced the ram, moved the ram slots, ran the ram in single channel on purpose, took some ram out, change the SSD W10 is installing to, and now I've resorted to unplugging everything that does not need to be plugged in for the install. I'm still BSODing. Any big brains out there?
  10. I’ve committed the sin to make this my first build. Continued BSOD with the current system: motherboard Msi MAGx570 tomahawks Wi-Fi, cpu ryzen9 3950, gpu zotac RTX 3090, RAM Corsair vengeance lpx 32*2, PSU Corsair RM850 gold, SSD M.2 Samsung 980 PRO 1tb, Samsung 860 evo 1tb sata 2.5. Tried to fix it for the past 4 months and everything seems to point at the motherboard. I’ve decided to return it. Loads of other people seem to have the very same issue with AMD ryzen 9 processors and x570 motherboards. Can anyone with a similar built recommend me anything? What shall I do? Budget max for the motherboard 400£, recommendations welcome Many thanks
  11. So i was playing some games (installed on my hdd) with some friends when i noticied that my ssd(no games installed in it, boot drive) usage was skyrocketed to 100% for about 2-4 minutes and things started to not respond. Eventually it fixed itself but with constant temporary spikes to 50+ usage. I opened resource monitor and i saw that nothing was writing or reading over 20k bytes, which doesnt make since with the usage of my ssd. Eventually the ssd spiked again and after 30-50 seconds everything from the resource monitor was gone and the ssd while at 100%, nothing was being read or written. Soon the usage went back to 0% and i got a bsod with the code unexpected_store exception and the "0% complete" wouldn go up. Eventually the pc rebooted and i was greated to a "windows requires repair with the supposed causw being winload.exe and the only way to boot into windows is to power of the computer from the power button and power it back on. My question is, is the ssd dying or is windows just fucking up something and i need to format the drive or something?
  12. I built this PC 6 months ago and everything has been amazing so far. I haven't had any issues with it except this BSOD that's been popping up a few times for the past week. I heard it's a memory issue but I don't know why it's happening now, as I haven't done anything outside of gaming and video editing besides updating Windows. I tried a couple things that are said to fix it, which were mainly running the Windows memory diagnostic and disabling memory caching. I also tried memtest86 and got no errors on that. But as of now, nothing has really helped. Is there anything else I could do to fix it? 13. Hello, I've been having BSOD's since early Februrary (4 BSOD's since then). This is my first self built computer so I am somewhat clueless on why this is going on \(;-;)/. OS: Windows 10 64-bit OS, x64-based processor I got the OS download off amazon I built this computer in Mid-January 2021 Age of OS installation: Mid-January 2021 CPU model: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Video Card model: 4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 MotherBoard: ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0 Power Supply: EVGA 500 BR, 80+ 500watt bronze power supply Desktop https://1drv.ms/u/s!AtS23cawE3hDgjIFh7ldW4TwIu_9?e=JmPrd7 (this is the link to the minidumps) https://1drv.ms/t/s!AtS23cawE3hDgi4DptjbX9MeZW8W?e=uj00oa (This is the link to the DxDiag) https://1drv.ms/u/s!AtS23cawE3hDgi-KBpj-G61JgoFk?e=kjWZ0q (This is the link to the msinfo32) I know the last two weren't asked for but I figured more info would help. I was also going to include the report from the Resource and Performance Monitor but it has been "Collecting data for 60 seconds..." for the past half an hour, if it does come through eventually, Ill update this post with it. Of the BSOD's I remember, the errors were "SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION", "KERNAL SECURITY CHECK FAILURE", "KERNAL MODE HEAP CORRUPTION", and one that I do not recall. To add on, I've done the following: - Re installation of my graphic drivers (both the clean restart from the installation tool and a full clean of the drivers and install using DDU) - /scannow on cmd prompt (no problems) - MSI Afterburner to make sure my comp wasnt just overheating (hovered around 40°C) - Used the memory diag tool (no problems) I hope someone can help me figure this out.
  14. Hello , recently i purchased a prebuilt system from one of my local distributors since its the only way to get any new tech at even close to msrp , but i've been getting these WHEA crashes randomly . I've already sent in my PC for repairs in once , but unfortunately the support team said they can't find any problems and returned it to me only for the PC to crash 30 minutes after i booted it up . The crashes happen infrequently enough so that i can't figure out the exact cause . The last time this happened was when i tried connecting my bluetooth headset , but when i tried to reproduce the crash with the intention of catching it on video for the support team ... it didn't crash . I'm stumped because there's obviously something wrong , but i can't seem to find a reliable way to reproduce it nor can i infer what's wrong from the dump files alone so any help would be appreciated . Drivers: windows: 19042.867 Nvidia: 461.72 Issue: During gameplay of either fortnite, red dead 2, or minecraft (with PTGI shaders), I can either have the game crash, my computer reset with a black screen, or blue screen of death. I never had this issue approximately a year ago and now I am having the issue. I have already did a clean install of my graphics drivers twice which eliminated the black screen issue. I have downclocked the cpu from the original OC of 3.6 which eliminated the blue screen issue. But the games both still will crash back to desktop. I have disabled the antivirus I have (Norton in this case) but this never has caused an issue ever before. A back ass solution was to limit the frame rate to something lower than the limit. So red dead can cap at 45 fps but capping at 30fps prevents crashing. I noticed as well I tried updating my amd chipset drivers with their downloader but it says that I don't have an amd setup to being installation. Not sure why at all.
  16. Hello. I apologize in advance if I say or do anything wrong, as I cannot stress enough I really am not an expert with computers and it's why I'm here asking for help. I'll proceed to describe the issue, it is very lenghty for a build that I've just gotten a week ago, and I just cannot shake the feeling that it is something that I can fix myself. The build came with no OS, i tried to install Windows 10 Pro. First attempt gave me a BSOD, second attempt was somewhat succesful, but then computer crashed with different BSOD every couple of hours. I figured I might have installed the OS wrong so I reinstalled. Problem persisted. A friend told me to gave a try to one of those 'alternative' versions of windows (I know it's not a good idea, but I wanted to test something different to see if maybe the issue was in the Microsoft tool or something) and same issues. I was very scared to open up the computer myself and check if something was out of place because again, I do not really know what I'm looking at, but then the computer stopped displaying image until I gathered out the courage to take out the RAM memories and put them back in. Tested each one individually in each of the two sockets in the motherboard and the problem seemed to have gone away. Reinstalled OS without a single crash and figured problem was over. Now it turns out every night, around 12 - 2 am the computer crashes with BSOD, and if it stays on it will start to crash more frequently until i leave it alone for the night. The next day it will show up display and freeze up when I try to boot it up the first time, then boot up normally the second after a hard reset. And this cycle has been repeating itself since then, as I did not want to touch anything inside it again without consulting someone who knows more than me. To save some time, here's the solutions i've tried: Reinstalled OS Updated every single driver Checked for temperatures while pc is idle and while gaming, so far I have not found abnormal temps. Checked with Memory Diagnostics tool, so far no errors. Checked HDD with diskdrive get status, seems OK. In my little knowledge I am suspecting that the issue must be within the RAMs or that it could be an outdated BIOS, but I genuinely did not want to update it without consulting someone first, as I've been told doing it wrong can REALLY mess up with a pc. Thank you for your time, sorry if this is wrong, or if I missed a rule, I've been reading everything and trying to comply with everything asked to make a post but sorry if I missed something. My specs are the following, it's a desktop PC: An additional problem! As I was trying to do the PERFMON, it will just never finish. It goes on forever until I close it. Could this be linked to these issues? I will attach what I've gotten from WHOCRASHED, if it helps. If you guys could help me gather the info from PERFMON in a different way let me know.
  17. Hello everyone, I'm having some trouble with a computer that I built for a friend. I tried reinstalling Windows multiple time, swapping parts with my own computer and we even changed the motherboard since, at the start, it looked like it was the network card (but probably wasn't). I am now at a lost and don't really know where to search. Sometime, my friend can game for hours without any problem, other time, it crashes quickly after login. Like the sticky post for BSOD asks, I have multiple minidump files, but I can't run "perfmon /report" since it crashes every single time (with different BSOD messages). I have included the minidump for the perfmon crash too tho, if that can help. If you want me to run any other test or try something, I will gladly do it. I can also swap parts with my own computer since I have the same CPU (it's just a pain since I have a mini-ITX case...). It's his first computer and it isn't a good introduction to PC gaming if it crashes non-stop... 18. I posted a couple of weeks back with an issue where half of my RAM was in hardware reserved mode. I ended up fixing it by sticking all four sticks of RAM in, rebooting the computer a few times, then taking two sticks out. I don't know why that worked, but my best explanation is witchcraft. Well, in the time since, I've had the computer crash on me several times, all while I'm playing League of Legends (I know...). The first time I got a BSOD, the error went something like "kernel security check failure." I proceeded to google it. I ran Windows Memory Diagnostic and when the computer powered back up, I didn't get any kind of report. Not even a "hey it's all good, no worries" kind of message. I then tried running chkdsk. Again, after it rebooted in order to run the check and do any repairs, I got zero feedback. Mind you, this is in the admin account on the computer. The next suggestion was to reinstall windows. So that's what I did. I went into settings and reset the PC. I re-downloaded my programs (Chrome, Steam, Origin, GoG, Inkscape, GIMP, Firefox, Discord, Spotify, LGHub, iCue, Dragon Center, and League) since I needed to repeat the conditions of the first crash to see if the problem was solved. It worked fine for a week. I had a couple of incidents where the screen would go black, like my display was disconnected, and then everything would come back after a second. It concerned me, but it wasn't the same issue as before. I reseated all of the cables from my GPU to the displays and noted it down because science. Sometime during that week, the RGB on my RAM stopped lighting up. I know it's a dumb issue to note, but when I went into Dragon Center to see what was going on, the software couldn't see the RAM. The computer was on and working perfectly fine, though. Out of curiosity, my friend/covid-buddy came over and brought the 100% perfectly functioning RAM from his self-built computer to test in my system. We wanted to see if the hardware reserved issue was repeated across more than two pairs of RAM, just in case I had astronomically bad luck. We stuck his RAM in and the hardware reserved issue came back. With our science having been completed, we took his RAM out and stuck mine back in. I don't remember the exact order of events after that because I'd been awake for way too long and I was getting really frustrated, but I'll do my best to cover everything. When we stuck my RAM back in, it gave a BSOD error. We restarted again and got a different BSOD error. There might have been a third. I remember that one of them was along the lines of "system thread exception not handled" because I threw a pen at my friend across the room and told him to google it on his phone. The other times they had to do with kernel files deep inside of windows, which led us to think that maybe I needed to reinstall windows yet again. I don't remember the exact files, though. One had to do with ntos. Another time it restarted, we didn't even get to a BSOD, it just returned chksum errors in black and white. We then pulled the RAM out and put in my old pair of RAM for science and the computer booted up just fine. Based on what my friend googled, we went in and looked at the graphics drivers, which would also explain the glitch where my screen went black. The drivers were up to date. While the hardware reserved issue was still present, Dragon Center could now see the RAM. So that gave us a good laugh amidst my desire to scream. It was at that point that I called it for the night because I was too tired to keep going. Some other miscellaneous observations: I was corrected on my last thread that even though RAM is run in dual channel, the computer should operate just fine with only one. I don't know if this is related, but I have tried booting up the computer with only one stick installed and it doesn't work. I've tried pretty much every stick in every slot and I can't even get to the BIOS. No idea why this would happen, but I assumed this was normal. Also, the crashes also only appeared to happen while I was playing League. I also ran a 5-hour online D&D session Saturday morning with no issues whatsoever before I started playing League and proceeded to crash a couple of hours in. I've also flashed the BIOS with the most recent version. That was one of the first things I tried back when I discovered the hardware reserved issue and the current BIOS is still the most up to date one. At this point, my gut is telling me that it's something wrong with the hardware of the motherboard. But I don't want to jump the gun and buy a new motherboard if that's not the case. I'm going to sit down and manually check every driver for updates, but my gut is telling me that can't be causing this. There's too many different errors. So if anyone can at least tell me which part I need to replace, that'd be swell. If I can fix it without replacing anything, even better! Edited to add build, all parts purchased in spring/summer of 2019: - MSI X470 Gaming Plus - Ryzen 7 2700X - G.Skill Trident Z RGB DDR4 3200MHz (second set of RAM is exact same) - RTX 2060 - WD_Black SN750 M.2 256GB SSD - Corsair CX650M Power Supply - Windows 10 x64, first installed by me July 2019, last installed a few days ago Edited again because I'm clearly still exhausted and forgot to add the links to the zipped dump files and report. There were two dump files in the Minidump directory, but the one from 2/15 seems to think it doesn't exist because I can't copy it. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xYbNp-xsVJ8Bwpt3dH7mB0-Z0_W2lDxZ/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/1IWkMu9t9UPVFOZMSsZaASES_F6mr6jgc/view?usp=sharing
  19. Main Problem: Hello, my Windows 7 x64 Desktop is crashing randomly in IDLE mode. As you can see the Desktop had at least 3 BSODs, to me they are all similiar?! I have to add, i have no other Issues, CPU loads is always at minimum 1% when having Youtube open in Opera GX and writing here and at 12% when playing Genshin Impact. I can Play Warframe and Genshin Impact without any problems. The BSODs/random reboots always happened when i was not in the room or sleeping. I ran memory tests but it was all fine, same for CPU and GPU stresstest. I have been uninstalling the AMD drivers i think it was 21.1? and going back to an older version 19.1.1 for testing, i still get random BSODs while in IDLE.(*explanation wy following) All of this "seem" to have started after i clicked on "update radeon software". I was running version 19..?*? then updated to 20.. then i started getting BSOD for the first time. Then i installed the pro variant of those radeon drivers from their site (these are said to be made for video editors etc), but the problem persisted. That was why i installed the old drivers as mentioned above ( 19.1.1 ) int he hope that this will fix the problem. Oh and yeah i uninstalled ALL AMD related drivers and made a fresh install of those 21.1 drivers but since the problem persisted i did go back to 19.1.1. Also Ive been running Scannow test as well as Heaven Benchmark 4.8 and OCCT. I am not sure if i will get a BSOD again with those 19.1.1 drivers, since you can see in the logs the BSODs happened with a "longer" time passing between them. My CPU temperatures are almost all the time between 29° and 35° celsius. Within my Case its about 31° celsius and my GPU is at 39° when writing here with youtube on and at 69° when playing Genshin impact. I am really out of options now... P.S. Also this, i really really regret updating my drivers at this point, my RIG was running like a charm before that. I used my RIG for Photoshop and creating Advertisement Material such as Posters and Flyers, Gaming, Video editing, 3D rendering ( Cinema 4D & Corona Renderer ). That said, my PC rendered for many hours in a row just to render my precious 3D images... without issue. This Rendering stresses the RAM as well as the CPU, so apart from the tests i already did with Heaven Bench and OCCT ive no idea if i should or should not blame my Hardware at this point?! Example render: Bluescreen Logs: Graphics and PSU Information: UPDATE: it happened again and again in idle mode / while i was afk 020721-19812-01.dmp 07.02.2021 01:00:02 PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA 0x00000050 fffff8a0`20ed6000 00000000`00000000 fffff800`0369b46a 00000000`00000000 wfplwf.sys wfplwf.sys+60db500 x64 ntoskrnl.exe+93ea0 C:\Windows\Minidump\020721-19812-01.dmp 12 15 7601 293.134 07.02.2021 01:01:06 Subproblem:
  20. My friends' desktop computer has been getting some random blue screens of death from time to time. All of the errors occurred when starting up the computer — none during actual usage. The last couple of them put the Windows in recovery mode before booting properly, and one of them went as far as putting it in a reboot loop for quite sometime. Here are the dump files, as requested by the posting instructions: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DJ1CtocE5bXsmYd81oSou_6B6AmV9jeW/view About the Kernel-Power specifically: due to previous problems, both temperatures and power supply have been checked. The power supply was recently changed to a Corsair VS450, which should be delievering more than enough power, and temperature at idle stays at a comfortable 40°, and goes to upwards of 60° at load. It's also worth noting that, despite reporting driver problems at the PS/2 connector, none of the devices connected to the computer are actually PS/2 — both mouse and keyboard are USB, and we've tried to reinstall the drivers for both, to no avail. There was also an attempt to install the missing Bus Driver from Intel, but Intel's installation tool refuses to work even after continuous hours. The machine in question runs a 64-bit version of Windows 7 on an Intel Core i5-2500K, with 2x4GB DDR3 memory and without any dedicated graphics, but we can't determine the motherboard. With exception of the power supply (which is less than a couple of months old) and the RAM memory (which was bought just a couple weeks ago), all of the parts are second-hand and of unknown age. For as long as it is with my friend, this particular build of the system has ran Windows 7, which was installed by a computer technician, also a couple of months ago. Since Google and my superficial knowledge on tech are proving to be insufficient to solve this round of problems, I would be quite glad if any of you could help.

Desktop I was building a PC for my sister and had forgotten to order RAM (and only realised this when constructing the PC), so I decided I would build it today anyway and just use the RAM from my PC to set everything up as I can just slot in her RAM when it comes easily. She has a same motherboard as me and her computer booted up successfully and I was able to set it all up. I then added the RAM back into my PC with no issues (other than the usual stubbornnes of RAM) and my PC boot up fine. It wasn't until I was playing Overwatch that my game just started crashing several times and when playing modded minecraft (which uses quite a lot of RAM) I got the BSOD. There were no performance issues so I suspected it was memory and ran a PC benchmark which didn't reveal anything to me. I then ran the Windows Diagnostic Tool which said that I had a memory problem and a fix online said to use driver verifier, which just resulted in my PC getting the BSOD repeatedly (booted into safe mode and deleted settings for verifier). Using advice on this forum I ran the SysnativeBSODCollectionApp and i attempted to collect data with the performance monitor but it would just get stuck "Collecting data for 60 seconds". Hopefully my RAM isn't physically broken, thanks for reading.
  22. Hey, last night my pc blue screened (I was just drawing with a drawing tablet and didn't have anything else open) and now it won't turn back on, I try to turn it on it straight away says it's trying to diagnose my pc then goes into windows startup settings, I've tried re-setting the bios, booting normally and safe mode but all just resort in it getting to the black screen with the windows logo then just sitting there until I turn it off due to it not doing anything I've tried leaving it to see if it'll do anything but nothing happens. Apologies the BSOD image isn't very clear is it says Stop code: driver irql not less or equal What failed Tclass2k.sys
  23. Hi. someone please help me. My pc randomly started freezing up yesterday and then when i restarted it it did BSOD and said "System service exception" and the cause was "nvlddmkm.sys". I managed to get in into safe mode. I uninstalled the drivers and deleted them several times for my gpu. it would let me launch to windows, but it wasnt registering my GPU. then it would bsod after trying to get the drivers reinstalled. In events for the graphics card it had an extremely similar crash code to the crash code for the PCI Encryption/Decryption controller which apparently had crashed at the same time. I bought a new nvme m.2 and clean installed windows as my version had been giving me problems and my current drive was too small. after this, i managed to boot to windows login/setup and made it almost to my account before it BSOD again and said "nvlddmkm.sys" AGAIN. I have a AMD ryzen 5 3600 with a gtx 780 on a Asrock B450M steel legend motherboard (which has given me other issues). I took my dads gpu and tried it in my pc. worked fine. logged into my acocunt and set up windows. turned off my pc, put my gtx 780 back in, started it up, BSOD. So i know it isnt a Windows issue, isnt a storage issue, and isnt an issue with my PCIe slot. so it must be the gpu Does anyone know how i could get my GPU to work again???
  24. Hello, Built my brand new pc about two weeks ago, and last week I finally added my GPU, a Gigabyte OC Rtx 3070. Since then I have been having blue screen crashes frequently at random with the same error code "Video Scheduler Internal Error". I can force the blue screen by loading up Netflix on Microsoft Edge and hitting the next episode button until blue screen (usually 3 ep skips). Edge also stutters sometimes, not like a bad internet stutter but like the GPU is struggling, which shouldn't be the case. Edge is using the correct 3070, so it isn't that. 25. Hi Guys, This BSOD is bizare, as it happens everyday I turn on my computer. It always blue screens on the first loadup, restarts, then is fine the rest of the day. I have tried the following action: 1. Reinstall Graphics Driver (Display Driver Uninstaller in Safe Mode) 2. Made sure all drivers are up to date. 3. Fresh Install of Windows. 4. sfc /scannow 5. Full stress test of CPU (Prime95), GPU (FurMark) This problem persisted after all of this. I have also run a full memory test using: MemTest86, and no issue have come up in that test. I need help understanding how to break down these logs, as it seems to die on the same address, same driver, which seems very generic. My information below: OS: Windows 10 Pro (64bit) Build 19042.746 OS Type: Retail Age: 5 Years Age of Install: 3 Weeks CPU Model: i7 5820k Video Card Model: Nvidia Geforce 1080 (Gigabyte) Motherboard: X99S SLI PLUS Power Supply: RM Series™ RM1000 — 1000 Watt 80 PLUS® Gold Certified Fully Modular PSU (UK Plug) Desktop System Link to Logs: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/12nRbxnkOyg-97egoGvwCDF0DFR7TrMJ8?usp=sharing PERFMON was running for over an hour, with no actual change to the files, so I had to attach them as is. I would have liked to save it all as a big report, but that doesn't seem to be working also. Thank you in advance for any help regarding this.
