i have been asking for advice on x300 and 4650g and i finaly got em. i managed to make it run and not to over heat and to be silent but i wanted to try to make it work without compromises. x300 is under waranty so modding its case is out of question so i made another. as i see it its biggest problem is a fan that is too close to case, so noise, and also the mesh doesnt allow enough air to be pulled inside, so i made it mesh free and made case slightly bigger so it can fit wraith spire with copper core. i had it in the drawer, thats why that exact cooler i dont have tools to make proper holes for front io but that is ok bcos i mostly dont need it and when i do all the case panels are fixed by welcro on inner frame so i can remove them in a second it can still reach 80c on consecutive runs of cinebench or prime95 but in gaming it doesnt go past 70C on silent mode 4650g igpu@2300mhz 2x8 crucial balistix 3200 cl 16 running at 3533 cl 16

Hi guys. So a couple of days ago I bought myself a new hard drive for my pretty old system. Couldn't afford an SSD so yeahhh Installation went smooth, did a bit of cable management while at it since this is a used system and the former owner just didn't bother apparently. I wanted Windows to run on the new hard drive since the old one was very slow and I managed to do that as well. Had a crash while downloading a couple of things but that didn't happen again, rebootet by itself. However since then I keep getting blue screens and it says something about watchdog violation and all that stuff but it just wouldn't make any sense, google tells me it's something about hardware incompatibility but it worked for 6 months multiple hours a day and I never had a crash or something, I can't imagine a new Seagate hard drive being incompatible with Windows 10. And it seems like it only happens when I'm afk which again doesn't make any sense to me. Need help as soon as possible tho since I use this system for all my school stuff as well.

motherboard Asrock B560m HVD vs Gigabyte B560m D3H (POWER LIMIT issues)
Guest posted a topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
I am torn between Asrock B560m HVD vs Gigabyte B560m D3H, --> For running an I5 11400 (sustained 4.2Ghz all core) I know B560 HVD is only capable of delivering 100W sustained no clue about B560m D3H (tried reading its manual but no mention about max power limit??) --> Could any one tell me if b560m d3h is better than b560m in terms of power delivery?? -

hi all i am getting 4650g and x300 deskmini and have 2 options for memory and cant decide since i dont know how its gonna affect the apu so i can get crucial 2*8 3200 cl22 sodimm for 50 euros - new taken out of new laptop or i can get crucial balistix 2*8 3200 cl16 sodimm for 100e from amazon dont know much about memory speeds and timings especialy in x300 so not sure if its worth it to go for cl16 memory since i dont know how x300 gonna handle it, is it gonna go full speed or it will run slow as cheaper memory i would rather spend those 50 euros on larger nvme or a better cooler if its not gonna affect performance as much. any advice on this? or any other thoughts about that hardware, really appreciated thanks for any info

I have an issue with my graphics card where the computer boots fine and over time (a few minutes) I get these horizontal lines appearing more and more frequently and over larger areas before the computer crashes. It happens much more quickly if I boot a game. Temeratures seem reasonable (around 60C) even at time of crash. I replaced the thermal paste which had no effect. I have tried it in 2 computers (one Intel one AMD), same thing happens. The circuit board has no visible issues. This happened when the card was new (I was unable to return it for various reasons, time has expired) The card is an Asrock Phantom Rx 570. Any ideas would be appreciated, normally I would probably just buy a replacement, but 2021 happened, thanks.

Hello everyone. CPU: i5-10400F MB: ASROCK B460M PRO4 mATX RAM: 2x8GB 2666MHz SSD: Kingston 1TB A2000 M.2 NVMe GPU: Gigabyte GTX 970 gaming OC I have acquired a prebuilt to gut the GPU and place it in my own rig. The problem arises once I plug in my old GTX 970 into it. If i try to boot with anything other than a DVI monitor plugged in, it won't boot. Unless I boot up Windows with the DVI monitor and then add the HDMI one as a secondary display on windows, turn off the PC, unplug the DVI monitor, and then boot only with the HDMI one. (Works only sometimes) Then I can get it to boot a few times in a row. When I put another GPU in everything works like it should. Then 970 also works perfectly with multiple other computers. Only this particular combination fails. What I mean by doesn't boot is only the fans turning on, and the boot and VGA LEDs turning on. Other things I've tried: Every possible port and monitor I can Resetting the BIOS Re-seating everything apart from the CPU multiple times Removing a RAM stick I am seriously at a loss as, to me, this makes no sense at all.

My motherboard seems to be hot when I play games. I use Corsair icue and open hardware monitor and both of them seems to show the temperatures a bit different. When I played a game today, the temperatures was over 60 degrees. As I've heard, thats a little too hot. Now, I wonder what does the temperature # mean on the monitors? Are there different temperatures on the board or something? (In my case, the temperature #6 on the black picture was the one which went up the highest). Perhaps is temperature #6 a sensor for the CPU area? Does anyone know, which of all these temperatures should be under 60 degrees, or is it all of them? (motherboard is asrock b650m pro4)

Hallo redditors ltt-people , I have very strange problem with my pc (doesn't know if this hardware or software issue). In order to use Ryzen 5000 series on my MoBo , I need to update my BIOS at least to version p1.20 (p1.90 is latest). I have currently p1.10 and spare CPU that can run on p1.10 and theoretically can be updated to p1.20 and higher. I've already tried 3 different BIOS version (1.20,1.50,1.90) and I always receive messages that update was successful . But when I check my BIOS or msinfo32 BIOS-Version stays unchanged. What should I do in this situation ? Am I stupid and constantly overseeing something or is this some issue with my software or hardware? My current setup is: ASRock B550 Steel Legend - bios p1.10 (from 20/06/2020) - doesn't support Ryzen 5000 series Ryzen 3 3200G (was bought for 50€ only to test other pc parts, till I waited for Ryzen 5 5600X and 3070/3080/6800) Ryzen 5 5600X (was finally bought in Germany for normal price) My friend's RX 560 4GB (to boot system with 5600X) OC 2x8GB Crucial Ballistix 3800 16-18-18-38 2xM.2 drives (one is boot drive) Super Flower Leadex III gold 750W Win10 Home 1905 Greetings from Germany

I recently just got this ram and I am not able to enable the 3600mhz xmp on it. I have a asrock sfeel legend x570 with a ryzen 7 3700x and the bios is up to date. I did do a memtest86 and there were 0 errors with the ram. I saw that the Ryzen 7 3700x only supports up to 3200mhz ram? It runs just fine with no xmp enabled on the ram and I have used 3000mhx xmp before on the same mobo. Do I enter the oc manually or am I missing something?

Hi there, I'm new here and don't know how should I ask for help. My apologies . I was updating bios to 5.90 form 5.20 and while updating I faced load shedding issue and pc turned off (73% done). After that turned power on and nothing shows on monitor (it's not posting anything on monitor). I got random code on led which is located on motherboard. Led shows me few random code changing and F2 then F9 and it shows forever. May be my motherboard bricked. PC Specs: Ryzen 7 1700 Asrock Fatal1ty X370 Gaming X G.skill flarex 3200 Mhz 8GB Corsair MP510 250 GB Asus ROG Strix RX580 OC 8GB my question is : How can I restore bios? what is the model of bios chip? where is the bios chip situated? (my friend said if I know the model he can flash the chip) can I flash the chip using "BIOS_PH" header? if so which device/cable/programmer need to use. Also what is the correct pin diagram of "BIOS_PH" header. ( my friend told me to ask) Current situation: For the COVID-19 pandemic we are in lockdown situation. every service center is close now. and the the lockdown period is not mention yet. I'm a full time freelancer and I need to fix the motherboard asap. I can't effort new one now. Please help me to fix this problem. Thanks in advance

Hello there , My motherboard is Asrock Z490 Taichi with Core I9-10900K So yesterday i bought Thermaltake Toughram 3600mhz DDR4 (8x4GB) ram but unfortunately its out of stock for corona pandemic in my country. So they gave me two options either refund or take the Gigabyte Aorus 3600mhz (8x4GB) ram but its not my Motherboard QVL list. Should i go for Aorus 3600mhz ? I don't know their quality. Thanks for helping.

Hei folks, I wanna ask something. Yesterday I tried to clean my Asrock ab350m-hdv mobo using ear buds dipped with isopropyl alcohol 99%. I tried it on my GPU, it works great and my GPU runs fine and fast. But when I wanna try applying IPA on the mobo, the IPA leaves a mark like a dried up water. Can anyone explain why that happens? I tried it on a small portion on my mobo, after seeing the result I panicked a little then stop the process The big question is,will my mobo boot or post?? Coz I'm on process of buying a thermal paste, mine is out. So I haven't turn it on since yesterday's cleaning. Below are the images of my mobo. Thanks in advance for any replies

Hey guys I have a Asrock B550M Pro4 mobo and i just cleared the CMOS battery to reset the bios and returned it back then i powered on the PC. When i powered on the PC a beep sound started to come from the motherboard area (1 Long Beep followed by 3 Short Beeps) ( i will include a video in the attachments) I googled this problem, some are saying that this is related to the rams but they are active in the bios and they’re powered on. Is there any possible solutions? Note: the pc is working fine but the beep sounds are annoying and im afraid they’re a bad indication IMG_6875.MP4

Hi guy's please help me out if y'all can. this actually has happened with me before with the same Asrock b450m steel legend motherboard in the previous pc in which the problem occurred and the one in which the problem began has the same Ryzen 3500 Cpu, in the previous build i had updated to the latest bios version which at that time was 2.90 then i started to get this same kernel related bsod issues. and when i reverted back to bios 2.70 problem goy fixed. but in this motherboard we didn't update any bios and i have tried updating and even degrading bios nothing seemed to fix it. So if any of you faced this issue in asrock boards or any one who faced this please help me out.

System Config: Asrock b450 steel legend Ryzen 5 3600XT EVGA 2060 Super SC Ultra Ballistix 2x8gb 3200Mhz NZXT Kraken M22 EVGA 600W 80+ Bronze Corsair p4000x Case What I've tried: Reseating the Ram, GPU, Power connectors, etc. Except the CPU I only wanna take it all back out as a last resort. Tried to update bios on but it won't post. Booting off the SSD my last computer had windows on, no post That's pretty much it. What's happening: I turn on the computer and the CPU fan spins, Top case fan spins, GPU fans turn on, it runs for about 20 seconds and then it will turn off and do it all over again. I am not getting a bios screen or post whatever you wanna call it, but nothing happens and it turns off and comes back on again. I am at a loss for what I should do next, thinking about going to MicroCenter tomorrow and getting someone to help me in person.

So.... Trying to make a PC for my buddy. Scored a kraken x40 aio water cooler with a bunch of fans and an 850 wt power supply for 100 bucks.. Anyways. I bought an asrock b450m hdv r4.0 motherboard and noticed in the manual that it had 1 CPU fan header, and 2 chassis fan headers. Am I able to make this work? I'll attach pics of the cooler. I also got some fan splitter hubs on the way.

Recently my CPU (AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six-Core Processor) has experienced performance issues when I'm playing games. This issue has only shown up after I recently updated windows 10 to a new version and since then my EDC CPU has risen to 99% (redzone) and voltage hitting numbers around 1.9%~. I really don't know what caused it but this is only when running windows 10 preset power settings that are not power saver. When I do use power saver my EDC lowers to around 56% and my voltage to 1.175%~. So it seems I either have high EDC or low voltage my performance with all of my games has lowered dramatically with some being unplayable. Another thing I've noticed (I'm not quite sure it means anything) but when I boot up my computer the windows loading circle will stutter and freeze. I have made sure to update all my drivers and fully update my windows, with the exception of my bios on my motherboard (ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0 AM4 AMD Promontory B450 SATA 6Gb/s Micro ATX AMD Motherboard) with my motherboard 3.70, I've also reset windows erasing all my files and redownloaded the newest drivers but this doesn't seem to have done anything. I've also tried setting my minimum processor state to 5% and maximum processor state to 99% as per recommendation I've seen in other places but this has lowered my voltage to around 0.88%. I also have not yet messed with my cpu on ryzen master. But I really don't know what to do, I don't assume its due to my pc being unclean due to if only happening after I updated windows but I don't know. So if anyone could help me out here I'd be very thankful. Power Saver power configuration Ryzen Balanced power configuration By the way if I've made any formatting mistakes please let me know. By the way my full PC specs are PSU :Thermaltake Smart 500W 80+ White Certified PSU, Continuous Power with 120mm Ultra Quiet Cooling Fan, ATX 12V V2.3/EPS 12V Active PFC Power Supply PS-SPD-0500NPCWUS-W. Hello, I want to try using dual monitors, using the following specifications: Proc: AMD R3 2200G Mobo: Asrock A320M-HDV RAM: KLEVV 16 GB I tried to use 2 ports, namely the VGA and HDMI ports on the motherboard, when I tried to plug the VGA port it was normal as usual, for the HDMI one I used a VGA to HDMI Converter then I plug it into the HDMI port. HDMI monitor has no response at all I guess to use dual monitors just plug it into 2 different ports. I have tried setting up the bios, to activate the Integrated Graphic Card in my asrock bios. but still the same HDMI port has not changed at all can you help me? thank you

Hi, I bought a Asrock x570 Taichi about 1.5 years ago and it is out of warranty. When warranty was just about to run out (now 1y ago) the sbfan started rattling as you can hear in the video. It used to be just at startup and under heavy load but now it is constantly doing it above 40°c. I tried cleaning it but it is quite difficult. I have to admit, I was getting lazy and filtered the sound out in my head for 6 months. Did not know it got this bad with the front panel off. Asrock won’t help me so does anyone have a suggestion? It is starting to get extremely annoying and worrying. Thanks awesome people! 1060321062_SBfanissue.mov

Hi, more than a month ago I built my first desktop with a very limited budget, the components that I bought were: -Ryzen 3 3200G -ASRock A320M-HDV R4.0 (BIOS Ver. 3.70) -Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000 Mhz (2x8gb) (It is running at 2933 with XMP Profile activated because that is the highest frequency it supports according to the manufacturer) -Cooler Master Elite V3 500W (it came with the case) Once the build was finished, I installed every updated driver and it worked perfectly but after a couple of weeks it started to have an issue: After playing any game for a not very long time, the screen turned off as if the pc had turned off, but the pc was still on so i had to restart with the front panel button every time this happened. I ''solved'' this error by installing the AMD all in one with VGA driver from the ASRock website (I use a VGA monitor), but now I have the same issue but in a different way: Every time i'm playing any game the screen freezes after some time but the menu music stills playing normally (this never happens in the middle of a game, only in the menus) and I have to restart from the front pannel again and again. I don't know if this is because of the PSU, the motherboard, the drivers, the bios, but I have tried every solution that I found in forums but none of them have worked yet. please help me. Sorry if there are gramatical errors, I don't speak english fluently
