I was thinking of upgrading my PC for better Productivity as in rendering with Blender and working with big Canvases in Clip Studio, would it make sense to upgrade to something like a 5600x or 5800x right now? My 2600x works fine for gaming at 1440p and I probably wont be able to upgrade the GPU anyways in the next few years. Plus I wont switch to DDR5 anytime soon. What do you think? My current System is as follows: Ryzen 2600x RTX 2070 Super 600W Powersupply Asus B450-F Mobo 2x8GB 3200mhz RAM I can get a 5600x for 300€ (~340$) or a 5800x for 380€ (~430$) new. Might find a good deal for a used one though.

Are these bios settings safe for the ryzen 5 2600x? Bios Version 3002 Motherboard: Asus Tuf B450 Plus-Gaming Cpu: Ryzen 5 2600x Cooler: Cooler Master ML240 L rgb v2 Ram: GSkill Trident z 3600Mhz CL18 This PC is just for gaming, all I want is to use the full potential of the cpu without damaging it. I've read multiple posts, recomendations but it all has been too confusing. The core/vddcr voltage is the one that worries me the most, as some people say 1.4 volts for long term is bad. Currently the VDDCR Voltage sits around 1.37 - 1.417. Also the max boost I've seen is 4.06 Ghz. Gamers nexus video on how to kill your cpu with "safe" settings makes me doubt even more XD.

Will a rtx 3070 be a good match for a 2600x at 1080p? Well if I can even find one in stock... I know that higher resolution requires more gpu power and cpu starts to relax, but will I loose too much performance if don't upgrade cpu aswell? My target is to run all games at the highest settings @1080p @144hz. I mostly play Fps games but I don't care if it is slow-paced game I want same results XD. Specs: Ram trident z rgb 3600mhz CL18 currently running @3200mhz timmings 18 22 22 22 42 cpu: Ryzen 5 2600x Boosting at 4.0 - 4.1 Ghz all cores Gpu: Gtx 1080 Fe

What dou you prefer for 2600X? 1. Auto. I get 4.240Ghz, 0.788v on Idle and 1.46v spikes on load. 2. Manual. 4.0Ghz overcook at around 1.3v, but everything is fixed, no spikes but also doesn't come down on idle. Is there a way to make clock and voltage come down on manual overclock? I've already enabled Global C States and PSU Low Current on Idle.

Hi. I just recieved my rtx 3070 and replaced my 1070ti. My current specs are: ryzen 5 2600x 16 gb 2666mhz ram rtx 3070 Intel 660p nvme ssd For some reason WoW only runs at 50 fps and does not seem to utilize my pc even if there is perfomance left to use. Am i being bottlenecked or what is going on? I included an image of my joblist so you can see the percantages of each parts usage. Thanks in advance :)

Budget (including currency): around 700 dollars(750 dollars max) Country: Bulgaria Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: mostly gaming Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): The biggest tips i need are on deciding what gpu between a ASUS TUF Gaming X3 GeForce® GTX 1660, 6GB and ASRock Phantom Gaming RX 580 8GB(second hand) and and what cpu to go with 2600x or 3600x to go within the budget. The gtx 1660 gpu i ordered new for around - 280 dollars, as there were not really any other better options for buying a better new graphics card in my country, and don't really have the means to be ordering from abroad right now where it might be cheaper. But a friend is willing to sell me his old graphics card rx 580 for around - 170 dollars My main concerns for the gpu choice is whats the best decision of these going down the line value wise for the prices im given, cus most likely in a few years time ill be needing to upgrade the gpu, considing both arent the greatest. My other concern for the gpu is cus its my first ever pc build, and honestly i've been saving up for this for a long long time is buying a second hand gpu (heck might even be a third hand, gpu cus im pretty my friend already bought this second hard) with no warranty, gets me kinda spooked and dont know if the price im getting for it is worth the risk of no warranty, even though by my friends words there have been no problems with the card and its been working fine for almost a year now. The other decision i need help on is choosing is a cpu between ryzen 2600x and 3600x, i ordered em both on a whim cus there was a black friday flash sale yesterday in my country and i bought them both on sale for pretty good prices at least considering my home country pc part market and need help on deciding which of the two to send back. I got the 3600x for around - 220 dollars, the 2600x was around - 160 dollars So my question here is is the 60 dollar difference really worth the gaming performance difference i get. And will it be better to put these 60 dollars somewhere else as considering its gonna be used mostly for gaming, and there isn't a big difference in gaming performance between the two as far as i know. These are the other parts i ordered for the build, please tell me if there are any compatibility issues between the other parts in the list, or just general issues if you've had with these particular parts and also if there is a better part choice in the given part price range: Case: Deepcool MATREXX 50 ADD-RGB 4F ~55$ Motherboard: Gigabyte B450 DS3H ~ 80$ RAM: G.SKILL AEGIS 16GB (8GBx2) DDR4, 3200MHz ~68$ PSU: Njoy Woden 650, 80 Plus Gold, 650W ~44$ (quite sketched about this one cus its an unknown romanian, but the specs for price are really good i think and ill a friend who used one of their psu's didnt have a problem with it) HDD: WD Caviar Black 1TB (WD1002FAEX) ~ 0$ (old hard drive i had lying around the house) SSD:Kingdian S280 SATA III 240GB ~0$ (another thing i had lying around the house, but also another thing im sketch about, because its a relatively unknown chinese brand, but it has fairly good reviews online, so for the time being if i can i will use it because i already have it) TL:DR Help me choose between a 280 dollar gtx 1660 and 170 dollar second hand rx 580. Choose between 2600x and 3600x, if it has a big difference on gaming performance. And also please tell me if i have any compatibility issues with my build.

system: asus b450i - MSI rx580 8GB - ryzen 2600X - 16GB corsair 3200mhz - 512GB Crucial SSD this problem started happening about 2 weeks ago, while playing simple games like Fall Guys and League of legends the framerate will tank for about 1-2 seconds. during this time the CPU is nowhere near full usage but the GPU will plummet down to 0%. i have updated every driver on the system, did a thorough ram test, swapped graphics cards to a gtx 1050, clean install of windows, double checked all temps (none exceeded 75C even while slamming them in Furmark, most were well below) yet nothing has been able to remedy the situation. the stutters are quite common and even occurred while I typed this message. Though they are much more noticeable during game-play. (no Overclocks, though the ram is technically factory overclocked \^.- ) Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Hi I currently have a stock amd cooler, what would be the best cooler (that isn't really expensive ) I could get. I don't mind about the noise as I have a Vega 56 and it sounds like it's going to take off.

Hi, I'm having trouble figuring out firstly why the EDC on my Ryzen 5 2600X is constantly in the 90-99% range. I've tried all the power plans (even ryzen balanced) and still can't seem to get it down. Secondly i'm having trouble getting more than 142 fps in csgo. I've seen others test the 2600X and getting 200+ fps. Any help at all is greatly appreciated! Specs: CPU: Ryzen 5 2600X MB: Aorus Elite B450 (bios F41) RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x8GB 3000MHz GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1660 Super (driver 446.14) It should also be noted that i checked the drivers and they should all be up to date. TIA

$1,200 - $1,400 USA Photo editing - Lightroom and Photoshop (layers, blending, stitching) for A7 II RAW files / Gaming - WoW BfA, Diablo 3, PoE, DotA, LotR, ESO, CoD, BF1, Witcher, Dark Souls (in order of importance). Will need all components of a PC build - monitor, mouse, keyboard, speakers (if not integrated with monitor) and/or headset, case, and psu. Main objective is compactness and upgradability. For example, I can find the Ryzen 5 2600X for a great price and B450 boards are cheap - these boards can also be used for a future upgrade to, say, Ryzen 7 3800X; although, keep in mind most B450 boards I am seeing for Micro ATX don't go past 3200 memory speeds and the sweet spot for the Zen 2, as I am led to believe by studies, is 3600; moreover, this also brings RAM into the picture as I would like something that can scale to 3200 C14 and 3600 C16. Since "future proofing" is what I am mostly after, in terms of upgradability, the new 4000 series AMD chips will not be supported by B450; additionally, if the new 4000 series has a new 'sweet spot' for RAM, I would like my memory to have the ability to OC past 3600 stable. RAM to be considered is 32GB with the board allowing me to add an additional 2 sticks to total 64GB. Monitor - if possible, 27" 1440p 120Hz/144Hz IPS. IPS since this will essentially double as an editing monitor and color accuracy is important. I would ideally like to only be switching out CPU and GPU in the future to reduce how much money I 'lose' out on. Most importantly is your experience and feedback. Feel free to leave constructive criticism on my ideas above as it would help me understand more about PC building. Thank you all for the time you took to read this.

So, my 2600x on idle is hot, voltage hungry and runs at high clocks. Is everything normal? I disabled PBO from the BIOS. I am running on the windows balanced power plan. (It sometimes gets back to the Ryzen Power plan, i dunno how to fix that.)

Hi everybody. I have recently finished a new mini-itx build (see parts below), but I have some problems with it. I can't get a post. When looking at the motherboard I can see that the white Q-LED is on. Which in the manual states that it's a VGA problem. It is going yellow (DRAM), red (CPU) and then solid white (VGA). All fans are running and it seems like the system is running fine. I have tried to change the video card to another (identical) card with the same result. I have a RTX 2070, but I can't fit it in the case because it's too wide so it can't fit. I checked all the cables both power and all the others. I have tried both DVI output on the cards (also the other card), and I get the same result - also tried different ports on the monitor. No post - white QLED. I was worried that it might be a power problem, so I disconnected all the SATA and tried again, but with the same issue. Have also tried to take one of the memory sticks out, and only booting with one. The WD blue is mounted on the back, which results in that the PCIe is only running x8 instead of x16. But to my knowledge this should not be a problem? To my knowledge the motherboard should be ready for the 2600X - the packages says 2000 and 3000 series ready. It consist of the following parts: PCPartPicker Part List: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/z64Fp8 CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B450-I Gaming Mini ITX AM4 Motherboard Memory: G.Skill Aegis 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory Storage: Western Digital Blue SN550 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive Storage: Seagate Constellation ES.3 3 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive Storage: Seagate Constellation ES.3 3 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 560 Ti 2 GB Video Card Case: Fractal Design Core 500 Mini ITX Desktop Case Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA GA 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply Optical Drive: Asus BW-16D1HT Blu-Ray/DVD/CD Writer There is no OS on it so far. I am just trying to get into the BIOS. Can anybody help me with this? Best regards Noego

So, I am planing on building a PC for streaming and performance while gaming (more fps) in 2021. I've decided to either use a AMD 2600X (because people say its better for streaming) with a RTX 2060 Super and 16 GB of RAM OR Intel Core i5-9600KF with RTX 2060 Super and 16 GB of RAM When i go to UserBench mark however, the I5 build is vastly superior in preformace. I want to use this computer for the next three years 2021-2024 so I need something that will be up to date and will also be exelent for streaming. What do you think I should go for? Everyone is telling me 2600X is better for Streaming, but the i5 vastly out preformce the 2600X in FPS.

Hey, I want to build a new pc my first rig actually. Stuck deciding between ryzen 5 2600x or 3500(My tight budget doesn't allow for the 3600). I will mostly do gaming on it, for which I think either will be fine. I will also use photoshop, CAD and maybe occasional video editing. The difference what I learned is, 3500 is slightly better in single core but 2600x has Hyper threading. I want to know if HT will cause any significant difference in my creative workflow? Also 3500 is cheaper.

Alright so I have been wanting to build a PC for a freaken while now and had finally decided to pull the trigger. Over the past month I've acquired various parts. CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor (Purchased For $80.00) micro center Motherboard: Gigabyte B450M DS3H Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard (Purchased For $60.00) micro center Memory: ADATA XPG SPECTRIX D41 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory (Purchased For $77.77) Newegg Storage: Inland 240 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (Purchased For $32.00) micro center Storage: Seagate Barracuda Compute 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (Purchased For $50.00) amazon Video Card: PowerColor Radeon RX VEGA 56 8 GB Video Card (Purchased For $170.00) Facebook market Case: NZXT H510 ATX Mid Tower Case (Purchased For $50.00) Facebook Market Power Supply: GAMDIAS ASTRAPE P1 G 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply (Purchased For $50.00) EBAY So I finally got all my parts and put them in my case. I plugged in the front panel as the last thing and hit the power button and my PSU made a loud buzzing noise for like half a second and then pretty much blew up. A small spark flew out and slight smell of burning. Two questions 1. was this my fault? Later I contacted the seller from Ebay and he said that he was unable to test this unit before it was sent, but initially when I plugged everything in the ram did light up. 2. ARE ANY OF MY OTHER COMPONENTS BROKE BECAUSE OF THIS please, if you have had this experience let me know what parts broke or didn't as a result. I will be getting the same model PSU tomorrow (3-12-20) and installing it, but how do I know if it fried my MB, CPU, GPU, SSD, HDD, or RAM?

Hi, does anybody have any idea why the "AMD OVERCLOCKING" section in my bios is missing? ryzen 5 2600x x570 aorus elite current f11 bios There seem to be a handfull of users having the same problem, but none of them got any answers. One user claimed, the "AMD OVERCLOCKING" section is only available for ryzen 3xxx and up, but i've seen the menu in overclocks with the 2700x, so this is invalid. Sadly, this is a new system and i have no other am4 cpu available to test if it's cpu dependant. If anybody has any idea how to tackle this problem, please let me know.

Among these two variant which one is better? For mid gaming and high work station purpose? Its price difference is 6$....

Hello, all. I'm approaching build day for my first build, and I've been getting interested in overclocking my chip. I have a Ryzen 5 2600X cooled by a Hyper 212 Black Edition. What kinds of overclocks would I be looking at?
-
I'm building my first system with emulation in mind, and I'm curious what emulators will run on my Ryzen 5 2600X. I know the easy stuff will run (NES, SNES, Genesis, N46, PS, etc.) but I'm curious about my ability to run more difficult emulators like CEMU (Wii U), Citra (3DS), PCSX2 (PS2), and RPCS3 (PS3). Whatever it can run I'll be happy with, since my current laptop can't even run Dolphin! Also maybe mention what settings I'd be able to run them at. Here's my PC Park Picker list. Thanks!

Hey folks so i dabbled a bit more into overclocking my ryzen 2600x just because i felt like it. always had it at 4.1 but i brought it to 4.2 all core oc. but it is doing this on 1.45. Should i try and get this lower? Or does this not bother the cpu so much? i know that ryzen 2000 series can go up to 1.5 orso right? Temps are good btw. when doing cinebench it keeps getting roughly 72c. and when gaming around 52/55c.
