12GB RAM sticks are coming - FINALLY!!! I have literally been asking for this for like a decade. https://wccftech.com/g-skill-48-gb-ddr5-6000-trident-z5-memory-modules-spotted-amd-expo-support/amp/ 16GB of RAM is mediocre, but 32GB is overkill for most. With the new upcoming 12GB RAM sticks, the ideal 24GB of RAM will finally be possible without some jank setup that causes dual-channel operation to not work properly. 2 x 24 = 48GB of RAM is also a great number for most who do some creative or professional work on the side without moving into ThreadRipper style systems. The only bad news is: It seems to have come a bit too late. Most gamers are now building new, current-gen systems with 32GB of RAM because RAM is now cheap as hell and 16GB is starting to get overwhelmed in some cases. As of Intel 13th Gen/ Ryzen 7000 - a 2 x 16GB RAM kit is now the standard option for the vast majority of gamers. 24GB (12GB x 2) kits would have been perfect like 5-6 years ago during the days when AMD Ryzen was brand new (1000-2000 series). Now, you might as well just get a 32GB kit like everyone else. Its still cool that it has finally happened, Im just disappointed in the timing. Now I see no real reason to buy one. I guess if you are on an extremely tight budget but once the pricing on these kits settles down; the difference between a 24GB and 32GB kit will be like literally $20 at most.

Witch one is better, a 24" 1080p vs a 27" 1440p. I really need a new monitor and I am debating getting a 24" 1080p or a 27" 1440p. Can someone please tell me witch one I should get. Thanks.

Hey guys building a new pc and need help connecting the psu to the mobo. I know I need to connect the 24pin to the mobo but it's got an extra 6 pin ('sense' text on the cable). Do I just tuck this away/cable manage and get 8 pin and connect that to my mobo or do I just plug it anyways. Thanks

Hello. Fairly simple question. I am wanting to and another monitor to my gaming setup. i currently have two 24 inch monitors in landscape that I would like to keep in landscape. I am just wanting to add a 30 inch monitor under them. (meaning the 30 inch one would be at my eye level and the smaller ones above that.) My question is what is the best stand to make this happen? Do I have to get multiple stands or do they make a combo one that would work? Attached is a photo of what I mean. So the large one under the 2 smaller ones. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Im looking for a new budget monitor - 24", 60-75 Hz, IPS, 5ms response time, Flicker Free, HDMI/Display port, possibly FreeSync. I'll be using it for watching videos, writing, gaming, browsing, programming. My budget is 140 USD, I'm accepting suggestions. I've currently settled on either the AOC 24V2Q or a second hand Samsung S24E650PL - a new one is too expensive for me. From reviews on the AOC (PlayWare's - http://playwares.com/dpreview/56817843 and PCLab's - https://pclab.pl/art80242-2.html) it looks like the response tiem is higher than stated, instead of 5 ms it's about 8+ ms, but it can be reduced through the overdrive option. The samsung one has lower response times than the AOC (https://pclab.pl/art80242-15.html), but lacks features like FreeSync, its 60 Hz instead of 75, and some other stuff but it has a good adjustable stand, better colors and has a bit faster response time. Which one do you recommend? What are your thoughts about buying second hand monitors? Is it a good? Is it bad? What do you think?

Hi, i'm looking forward to buy a new monitor to replace my old HP 1600x900 and want something not only with higher resolution but also bigger (i like them big OwO) but stumbled upon a video made by a guy who claims that the bigger the monitor, the lower the image quality you get which makes total sense since it's in fact the same amount of pixels in a wider area but here comes the question: How bad is image quality of 1080p in 27 and 32 monitors? (which are my main target right now) and also any recommendations and opinions are more than welcome. The monitor i plan to buy: Dell P2717H

I'm looking for a 1080p monitor for my next build and I don't know which one to pick. My budget is around 100-130€ so I was thinking to buy this BenQ GW2470H, but I'm up for recommendations. Buying in Spain or Germany.

Hi,someone can give me advice about these monitors? Dell P2419H Acer Nitro VG240Ybmiix Both are ~24",FHD,~5ms,60/75 Hz,IPS Or there are any good monitors around 150 eu/170usd which have the same parameters,i want the best around this price i don't wanna regret it.I have an old LG 22" TN monitor still working but i get bored with the colours and the view angles so i would like to buy a new one and use that as a second monitor.I will use the new monitor with everyday usage +gaming(all kind of game),more Hz is always good,FHD because my gtx 950 cant handle 1440p,24" because i heard 27 is not enough sharp for FHD,IPS for the colours, moslty. And i heard about this ips glow, blacklight bleeding,i want to miss these if possible in this price.

Hey, so I recently stumbled across these 2 monitors, and am possibly purchasing one of the two. They both are 24", 144hz and G-Sync. Which one is "better"? 1 - https://www.pccasegear.com/products/36955/acer-predator-xb241h-fhd-144hz-g-sync-24in-tn-gaming-monitor 2 - https://www.shoppingexpress.com.au/buy/aoc-g2460pg-g-sync-24-fhd-144hz-gaming-monitor/G2460PG They're also only $20 apart so I don't really mind the price difference. The second monitor has two USB ports, but I could always get a $3 usb extender for my keyboard & mouse wire to be able to reach and connect to my pc itself.

I'm looking for a gaming monitor. 24" 144hz Curved G-Sync - https://www.mwave.com.au/product/acer-predator-xb241h-24-144hz-gsync-gaming-monitor-ab88339 27" 144hz Curved - https://www.mwave.com.au/product/msi-optix-mag27c-27-fhd-144hz-freesync-curved-gaming-monitor-ac11929 These two monitors fit my budget and would suit me long term, they also have a $20 differentiation which is not bad at all. The curved 24" monitor has 144hz, G-Sync and it can be overclocked to 180hz but to enable the 180hz the screen resolution will be slightly downgraded. The 27" monitor has 144hz, is also curved, but has freesync -- I have a GTX 1060 6GB though. I am quite indecisive regarding these two monitors so what's your opinion? Basically, 27" vs 24" w/ G-Sync

So i am trying to get a good 144hz 27" monitor. Asus has them at $300 for the 27" and the 24" somewhere around $260-270. I am trying to get a dual monitor setup with the same sized monitors, is it worth getting 24" and saving like $100-200 and a different brand like acers $200 24" 144hz panel. Requirements: -144hz -Not an insane price -1ms response -1920x1080 -24-27"

Hey guys, here's the deal. https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-24-led-144hz-gaming-freesync-monitor/ I use this monitor myself and I am really happy with it. First of all, at this price it's half the price of anything else, next cheapest I found is an AOC for over $360 shipped. Input lag is really low, viewing angles are surprisingly good, matte, plenty of IO. The things I don't like is that colours are washed out and that the stand isn't adjustable, but for this price you can't go wrong. Highly recommended, it's the cheapest it's ever been and I would buy again even at 1.5x the price it is now. (like I paid for it) If you're in the market for a gaming monitor around this price and live in Australia, this is an absolute steal.

Hi I recently bought a new desk and have a lot more room than I had b4 (8foot counter top from Ikea). I want to add 2 more monitors to my desk for a triple monitor setup. My curent monitor is a 1440p 27" Dell s2716dg with nvidia G-sync. I also have a small 19" hp monitor ive had for around 13-14 years that im going to finally retire. im going to get a triple monitor stand to make it all tidy and behind my monitors I have large windows so i can look up and see sunlight and nature every now and then. Okay that's it for background, now for what i need. I need help deciding on a monitor layout. I was originally considering PLP (Portrait Landscape Portrait) but upon doing some research that seems...not as feasible as i assumed it would be. So im thinking LLL and trying to decide on monitor sizes. Of course matching monitors would look nice. But 3 27" monitors in Landscape would take up around 6 feet of horizontal real estate. Dell also makes the same monitor in a 24" which would still match but would only take up about 5 1/2 feet of horizontal desk space. Also I was thinking of a 22" NEC I found on newegg that is 16:10 and that combination would only take up about. 5 feet of horizontal desk space. I plan to use my 27" Dell s2716dg as my main monitor and use the 2 on the side for web browsers, twitch, discord, obs ect.. I do not really plan to game across all 3 monitors. the monitors must have DP inputs and be mountable. any suggestions guys and gals? also im open to both LLL and PLP setup suggestions.\ Thanks, Legeis _________________________ My Rig:

Hello, i have recently bought an IPS 60hz monitor with an advertised response time of 6ms, but i don't find it very smooth and playing games feels like 40-50 fps. I am sure this is because of the response time. This is why i have decided to get a gaming monitor with 1ms response time and 75hz refresh rate ideally (144hz is too expensive). I live in Albania and we don't have any international retailers here. So i will just list what i can find on local stores and need your help choose the better one for gaming. Thanks in advance! Here we go: Asus VP247H (227$) Iiyama G-Master GE2488HS (233$) Asus VX248H (240$) Iiyama ProLite B2480HS (260$) BenQ Zowie RL2455 (280$) Asus VG245H (360$ lol?)

Hey everyone, I'm building a UnRAID / Gaming box with file hosting duties. I will (at one point, not right now) have up to 22 SATA devices which need to be connected to my Asus TUF X299 MoBo. I'd like to buy a (or more than one) HBA card to connect all the HDDs (20) to work with UnRAID but I'm not sure which one. Is there a fairly simple and cheap solution out there? I've heard that RAID cards are not recommended due to the way they handle the raw disk access but that some RAID cards can be flashed to another mode which supports the right type of connectivity. Can anyone provide a little more information on this please? Thx in advance ~eruk2007

Hey, looking for some feedback on this monitor choice. Here is what I am looking at: AOC AGON AG241QG 24" GSYNC or AOC AGON AG271QX 27" NON GSYNC I want to know peoples thoughts on whether 24-inch GSYNC is going to be more beneficial than a couple of extra inches of screen. I am going to use this predominantly for gaming, however, I am soon to start a game art design course where productivity will become a factor. For this reason, I am wondering if a 27-inch is worth getting and dropping the GSYNC feature. I am currently rocking a GTX 1080 and I7 7700k 16GB of RAM.

Hello guys! I want to ask you if a 24 Mbps Adsl connection is enough for gaming. I know it won't have so high upload speed, but how much worse than the vdsl?

Im just wondering if this is how a 24 pin should look like.. The pin on the top row 4th from the left looks kinda weird I think. Also, has anyone here used the Mission GGP 1.0 PSU? I didnt think the power supply was so important before I bought this cheap one. (not very cheap, but I cant find any reviews for it). Is it ok?

Hello guys, I'm looking for two new monitor cause my second monitor died and I want to pick a new setup. I searched for days and I'm going nuts. I'm searching for two monitor that are good with everything, like gaming, video and photo editing. I'm looking for two similar model, maybe one with 120/144hz for gaming, and the other one for the rest. I know that TN panel are better for gaming, but not display very well all the colors. IPS on the other hand does not have high refresh rate. There's something in the market? Just 1080p monitor, maybe the gaming one a 2k max. Both 24", I don't have much space. I have an Asus Strix GTX 1070, so it shouldn't be a problem. So: Two monitor 1080p/2k Gaming one 120/144hz, the other 60hz 24" Max 500/600€ Thank you guys! Sorry for bad english, I'm from Italy.
