IDK... all i know is its a PepeHands Experiance to say the least im streaming at 720p60 on fast preset using CPU encoding x.264 i believe its called... and if i cant get more than 60FPS in game and im trying to stream at 60FPS its a hard life to be living... sooooo...... i plan on going to Ryzen 7 3000 series once it launches (most likely the 3700x if thats what its actually going to be called) but i want to get a better GPU now so that i dont want to pain the walls with my frontal cortex, sooooo im thinking 2070, 2070ti or 2080 so let me know below what you think and if possible please link exactly what GPU you would recomend... preferable Black or dark grey, THANKS! ( i play all games on low settings because i want the FPS as high as possible except for WoW so dont judge me )

So I heard there are 2 types of chips for the RTX 2070. TU106-400A and the non A so basically TU106-400. A is supposed to be capable of higher stable speeds. I've already ordered an RTX 2070 aorus Xtreme, does anyone know what chip that model has? Some say only cheap 2070s have non-A chips, the aorus Xtreme is on the expensive side of 2070s, so does anybody know the chip?

Just bought a new MSI RTX 2070 Gaming Z. When I didn't have it, I plugged in my Displayport to my motherboard. It worked fine. But when I got the 2070. The displayport stopped working. Even when I took out the graphics card, plugged the displayport into the motherboard it didn't work. Even though it was earlier. I even bought a new displayport cable still getting no signal from monitor. Weirdly enough HDMI works on the 2070 but nothing else. I have a 144hz monitor and want to use it. Also I have VR and the 2070 only has one HDMI port. using HDMI atm.

rtx 2070 MSI RTX 2070 8GB reporting 3gb dedicated memory?
TheWhiteside posted a topic in Graphics Cards
Hi, hope this topic is ok to be here, if not apologies! please move it to the appropriate place! BUT I've been having some strange happenings with my new MSI GAMING GeForce RTX 2070 ARMOR 8G OC. Overall it seems to perform fine, but in one of my favorite games - Squad - I can't get through a full match without crashing out with a memory error! this is really frustrating and confusing as my pc is well above the recommended specs for the game, and it ran perfectly fine on my old 2gb MSI Geforce GTX 960! So, after asking around the Squad discord and some forums, one member asked me to run a report on Aida 64, which revealed my 8gb card was dedicating 3gb of memory! (Is this normal?) The crashing issue seems isolated to Squad, even on the lowest settings. I crash out after about 10 mins, but I can play other games like BF1 and Escape from Tarkov on max settings for hours? Can someone please explain this to me or help me 'resolve' the issue as I'm getting really frustrated with it. Attached is my Aida 64 Extreme Report along with my last Squad logs Report.txt SquadGame.log Squad.log -
I have saved about half a year for an RTX 2070. I should be able to afford it in august. (600€) Now, should i buy it or wait for the RTX 2170? I would be willing to wait til march but not much longer.

Hi everyone, I'm in a bit of a pickle about choosing a new GPU for my system. At the moment have a 1070 but after recently upgrading to a new 1440p 144hz monitor I noticed it may be time for a new GPU to get the most out of this monitor. The monitor has Freesync 2 so I can enable G-Sync but it doesn't work all that great. My PC's other specs are: - 7700K @ 5.0GHZ - 16GB DDR4 2133mhz - Asus Z170K - Samsung 960 Evo 250GB + Seagate Firecuda 2TB - Corsair TX550M V2 (which would need a replacement with a new GPU) The GPUs to replace my 1070 I have been looking at are: - Vega 64 (about €450 new, €500(makes no sense) used) - RTX 2070 (about €550 new, €450 used) - GTX 1080ti (about €500 used, often with warranty) The 1080ti outperforms both the other options by about 20% so on paper it's the best option, but they aren't available new anymore at all so I'll have to get one second-hand. The 2070 performs slightly better than the Vega 64 but costs about €100 more, but costs about the same when buying used. For some reason the Vega 64 is cheaper new than used where I live. So given my current setup, which GPU would be the best choice?

It happens in Sekiro and Borderlands 2 as well.I have tried different NVidia drivers (all after using DDU), changing graphic settings in game, shutting off overlays, running ISLC, ensuring all drivers are up to date (including misc drivers).

Hey, i need a new gpu and i am unsure if i should drop an extra 150€ to get a 2080 SU instead of a 2070 SU. I game at 4k, but i am thinking about switching to 1440p@144. I am also interested in VR and CAD workloads like blender. Would you say these 150€ would be worth it? The performance gap between the normal 2070 and 2080 was very small to begin with. Also both SU cards rock the original 2080 gpu (TU104). The only differences (to my knowledge) are about 20% more cuda cores, a slightly higher clock and a higher power draw. Could the 2080 SU really be that much faster than the 2070 SU?

Basically, I bought a 2070 when it came out and now super cards and launching at the same price. Anyone know if Nvidia or any company will offer a trade-in program? Like are they really just gonna screw people over like that?

So i've been contemplating upgrading from my Asus Strix GTX 970 as it's obviously getting on now. I was initially looking at the GTX 1660ti, but figured I might at well go a bit further and get a RTX 2070 as i'm thinking about moving to 1440p gaming and the RTX 2060 apparently only just makes it for that? I found the GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2070 8 GB GAMING OC in white for £450, which is my max budget But with the announcement of the RTX Supers, should I wait and see how much they are? or if the price of the original RTXs will drop and pull the trigger on them? Any other recommendations would be appreciated too, thanks in advance

RTX 2080 + Ryzen 3700x or RTX 2070 + Ryzen 3900x
LpoolTech posted a topic in New Builds and Planning
Hi there! I'm building gaming/streaming PC with occasional video editing done. With the expected pricing in Europe for ryzen 3000 series I could choose RTX 2080 and ryzen 3700x or RTX 2070 and ryzen 3900x(the super cards are an option depending on pricing). The price difference would be with in 20 euro so nothing big. My monitor is 1440p 75hz. I don't play online shooters mostly RPG, sports and racing. I don't care for super high refreshment 75hz average would do me fine(and my monitor can't do more so whatever). So what would you choose please give me reason for your decision. Thanks for your input in advance. -
Currently, I've been using iBall Nirantar UPS-621V 600VA for 2 years and it works just fine. My current rig is: CPU: Intel Core i3 6100 GPU: GTX 1060 3GB RAM: Crucial 8GB DDR4 2133MHz PSU: Corsair VS Series VS450 - 450 Watt Motherboard: MSI H110M Pro-VH Socket LGA 1151 In future, I'm going to upgrade to Ryzen 3700x (won't be overclocking it) with RTX 2070 and Corsair's VS550 PSU. (not sure about motherboard yet) so is my current UPS good enough for the upgrade or does it have to be upgraded too in order to avoid sudden power outage otherwise it'd defeat the purpose of having a UPS in the first place. Or will it not turn my computer on at all?

Well, after owning (let me count) 6 Razer Blades, this one being my 7th, it's been a love hate relationship with all of them, and I don't seem to have learned my lesson. I've now got fan grinding on my less than one year old Advanced edition, 144hz RTX2070 Razer Blade 15 with 1TB 970 EVO PLUS. It's the fan which is situated underneath the left hand while typing. Not sure if that's GPU or CPU fan. (pretty sure this is the model RZ09-02887E92-R3U1) As you might have assumed I've already opened up the device to swap out the SSD, and I've dismantled some of these devices in the past, so I know how to change a fan... (but Razer won't just sell me the darn part) I have no interest in sending this laptop to Razer, I work full time from home and I can't work without my laptop. So my basic question is do any of you know where the best place to source the specific fan would be? I can't seem to find a part number online, but I can remove the fan and give you the number if needed. (First post in LTT, but been subbed since LTT was basically a teen.) Cheers

Specs: Ryzen 9 3900x ROG Crosshair VIII Hero X570 ROG O8G RTX 2070 32 GB DDR4 3600 Gskill Samsung 960 EVO 1TB Corshair RX 750 PSU Drivers: Windows 10 64 bit Version 1909 Asus Version 442.19 Graphic Asus version 1201 Motherboard Temps: CPU 50 at idle 60-70 under load Graphics card 32 idle 50-70 depending on load I've made a forum post before and followed their advice. After explaining that I've had the graphics card RMA'd and replaced 3 times and put a different graphics card in they suggested the motherboard which I think was definitely the issue. I installed the replacement motherboard ASUS sent me and it's still stuttering. It occurs while I'm working on my homework and in game. I recorded it happening and posted it to youtube. The stuttering occurs at timestamps :42 , 1:42 the rest of the video is me trying to get it to do it in minecraft but I couldn't get it to act up in minecraft. My original post is linked here and goes more in depth with the problem-

I thought I knew what card I want, but seeing as this forum has always been trustworthy for me, I thought I’d ask. I’m looking for a card that performs well thermally, but more importantly, one that isn’t extremely loud. I get very peeved by loud components. Another factor is price, and I’d like to stay near $500 as much as possible. That said, thus far I’ve leaned towards this GPU: ASUS GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER ROG Strix OC: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/cNGnTW/asus-geforce-rtx-2070-super-8-gb-dual-evo-oc-video-card-dual-rtx2070s-o8g-evo I’be looked at EVGA and seen a lot of people complain that EVGA cards have bad coil whine, which sucks because otherwise the cards seem good.

So I'm in the market for a new GPU, and am eyeing the $450-$500 range. At this range there are mainly 3 cards in the market, the 2070super, 5700XT and the 1080ti in the used market. Which of these cards would be best value for money?. I know the 1080Ti is quite old now but it still performs admirably and performs as good as a 2080, but will that still hold 2 years from now? or should I go for the more recent offerings just for future-proofing? I have a 2700X paired with 16GB Of Ram. Currently I'm using a GTX 970. Looking to play at 1440P, maybe sometimes crank it up to 4k just for the fun of it.

Hi everyone, With the release of the 2070 Super I am considering upgrading to be able to get the most out of my 1440p 144hz monitor. I am currently in doubt between getting a 2070 Super or a used 1080 ti, since their used prices are quite attractive and the 2070 Super (not to mention the 2080 (Super)) prices are ridiculously inflated where I live. A used 1080 ti is about half to two-thirds of the price of a new 2070 Super in my country. So, what are your thoughts about about both cards? What are the benefits of one over the other?

hey so i get random bugs like this? sometimes for no reason its quite alarming

i keep getting random frame dips about every 4 seconds while watching hulu on google chrome and gaming using directx9 anyone else experiencing this issue???

Which would be better for 1440p, 144hz, 60+fps. I know the 2060 is really close to the 2070 but I wasn't sure if it could handle 1440p. The max I would spend on a GPU would be $550. Don't care about rtx. The monitor would be freesync G sync compatible. Don't have a computer yet but just coming up with a build. I know a lot of people have asked about this, but I haven't really been able to find an answer. Thanks. So I have Everything figured out. Except for the new problem. Is it worth waiting for Upcoming Graphics Cards by AMD? Or should I just go With Nvidia? I am thinking about RTX 2070?
