  1. Went from 290's to a 1070 and I can safely say I'm just waiting for the next big amd card to drop to switch. I absolutely hate the nvidia control panel.
  2. In gpuz what is your VDDC at when overclocked?
  3. Pretty much thou with overclocking vram if your memory is micron you might be SOL. lemme know how far you get.
  4. so for me I was able to get my card stable around 2126mhz. Ive tried to add more voltage but it just destabilizes. Memory on the other hand, if the memory on your card is samsung you should assume you can hit over 9000 easily lol.
  5. from my experience with pascal it doesn't seem to really care about extra voltage sadly.
  6. I would try to squeeze that 1070 in somehow.
  7. I have my cpu overclocked and undervolted. I get extra performance while saving on heat and power.
  8. Strix 1070 Core: stable at 2126 Memory: 2400Mhz Voltage: 1.050 FSU: http://www.3dmark.com/fs/9789225 TS: http://www.3dmark.com/spy/286481
  9. I went for a strix no issues at all.
  10. I think so but thats my opinion. Id go with whatever card looks better to you. Im just not a huge fan of how much branding evga has put on their card lol and the font/size.
  11. I went with the strix since it fits into any build looks awesome and the rgbs are just sweet.
  12. you could test your card with other psu's but that might not solve it. you might just be stuck with coil whine until you either upgrade or rma your card for a different one.
  13. I'm super sensitive to high pitch noises so coil whine is a huge no no for me. Thankfully the 1070 strix I have doesn't have any.
