    A couple of New Jersey hunters are out in the woods when one of them falls to the ground. He doesn't seem to be breathing, his eyes are rolled back in his head. The other guy whips out his cell phone and calls the emergency services. He gasps to the operator: “My friend is dead! What can I do?” The operator, in a calm soothing voice says: “Just take it easy.     That was what i was trying to say, but although you would still have 2 cores, the same way that you would have 2 SSDs, in raid 0 the OS would see it as 1 (as you said) and you would get a bit more performance then just using 1 SSD.

    I know, but i just would like to see how those "4 slightly faster cores" would compare to the 4 cores of the i5.

    I know, but at 4am this was what came to my mind and i just thought if it was possible how much would you gain in single core performance. So i probably would do it, but i just thought it was an idea worth sharing.
