  1. sure mate, have you seen their reviews lately? KitGuru actually builds inside them
  2. HC, like LTT, tries to sell you shit rather than review the product --- back on topic few launches ago, AMD declined to send review samples to [H] and Linus said he'll help them now, Linus is part of the problem
  3. do not use liquid metal TIMs for long term
  4. sounds like U'r fucked bending pins - one problem dropping the CPU and messing the interposer - problem no 2
  5. it's too small, there are couple of webpages that I had to use the browser's own scaling to 125%
  6. I would go with a monitor above 25" because the pixel dot pitch would be too small I got myself a 27" AOC just few days ago and it's about perfect for reading text, I do not have to use Windows Scaling
  7. the actual source: http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?s=a2e0cc585aee53aa143d23aacec491dd&p=5457059#post5457059
  8. that's not a GPU, it's a video card the CPU 8 pin should absolutely not be connected to the video card what do you do? you buy a new PSU - the 8pin for PCIe is usually 6+2, with the 2 being detachable
  9. you could use a tool like takeownership: https://www.top-password.com/take-ownership-pro.html it helped me with an entire directory plus it's content that I could not move/delete
  10. you need to check the nVidia Control Panel -> Display -> Adjust desktop size and position -> Scaling
  11. that's theory, not practice few games I tested yesterday show the aliasing to be about identical - it greatly depends on the AA method --- @kondziowy the new AOC has 108.79 PPI; while the old Philips had 100.13 PPI - so the dot pitch is about the same
  12. it very meh it uses quite some RAM and I could not see any actual benefit - tested it for 2-3 months
  13. that issue was fixed even before it became mainstream knowledge - it was the mobo manufacturers who were late to implement the fix my GigaByte board got the microcode fix just at the start of this month ... the fuck! and they're not the only ones
  14. poor nVidia now they're busy debating on how high they would start selling Volta based cards
  15. get GlassWire and see what's eating your bandwidth but, that command only refreshes your external IP and I have a feeling it's a ISP issue and not malicious software
  16. sorry, but I don't think that's how it works - flip a switch and the raster changes the Raster Engines need to be physically capable of executing the new algorithms in the 1st place
  17. I never use AA sorry --- I found that some older games can actually look tad worse because they use low res textures not suited for hi-res monitors it's a similar thing that others experienced jumping to UHD displays; newer games were built with hires textures and they do look better
  18. to be read: AMD and TSMC are incapable of producing large dies, so they have to wing it on their knees
  19. except I'm not the one freaking out of their skin you know what's funny? the "other" two dies are literally junk
  20. it's not a GPU, it's a video card to see the GPU remove the radiator
  21. AMD "asked" him to take the video down why? simple: Intel was 100% right when they said Threadripper was a glued together CPU
  22. except those movies still get pirated and the only ones who suffer are the legitimate customers
  23. those XL, XT, XTX versions made quite a lot of sense
