Gotta agree on pretty much all of this, and what you’ve been saying through the conversation. In comp, the slightest advantage still matters when you’re on the clock. Same reason why male competitive swimmers shave their legs. It’s not gonna improve your technique, but it could shave a fraction of a second off your time. Also comp shooting and practical shooting are wildly different and should never be mixed. Unless you’re running production division, you should never trust your comp gun as anything but a comp gun. It’s not built for defense or carry, and it’s likely less reliable and bad practice for anything but competition. Be like trying to drive a monster truck to the grocery store. Comp shooting and practical shooting are apples to oranges.

Interesting choice for a comp gun, you're gonna get murdered on the price of mags lol. I assume it's one of the long slide Expert models? Otherwise you're making things tough on yourself, but still a great gun. 9mm or .45?

it's actually been very cool to watch, just y'know, make sure everyone who encounters it knows it's a real .22 haha

Haha oh don't you worry, i've been watching with a mix of appreciation and apprehension, but hey, not my gun, not my choice to make

Lol ignoring my general belief that it's a bad idea to make real guns look like fake guns, you'd probably have an easier time working off something like a PPQ M2, which better resembles the back end of the Halo magnums, including the ODST version. The back end of a Glock is too squared off and snubbed.

Hmmm, mine is vanilla, but out of curiosity, what are you looking to do?

Do you mean actually modding the frame? Or building out a gun with one?

Looking for a good pair of wireless earbuds

Worthwhile true wireless starts around $100, but imo not even worth it til you get up to around $150

Lol it should remind you of a P226 since that's what it's patterned after. Though German designs do tend to give off similar vibes.

What music service do you use?

Spotify Premium is my personal favorite. I've tried Apple Music, Amazon, YT Premium, Tidal, Google, and they've all just made me like Spotify more. Real trick is get some buddies together and sign up for a family plan, makes the price considerably more bearable.

Crazy as it sounds, they tend to crack/snap, like you lose the whole bottom half of the trigger. Admittedly, I've only seen it in their Glock triggers, never seen their M&P triggers fail, but I'm gonna chalk that up to very rarely seeing an M&P at a USPSA match. Personally when it comes to trigger replacement kits, I throw my hat in with Overwatch Precision triggers, but that's purely for competition. Not sure I'd trust them anymore than I do Apex for carry. Never seen/heard of a stock trigger breaking under stress but I will say I'm less reserved when it comes to stuff like spring kits and connectors. IMO a Smith J-frame is unusable without a spring kit, and every double stack Glock ever made needs a Ghost connector.

Fair, but I've seen enough apex triggers fail at my local USPSA matches to be wary

I'm not crazy about modding a carry gun. I'd rather the trigger suck and it still go bang, than it feel amazing and jam when I need it.

    Hissing/Static When Playing Music

This, or check the "default format" setting for both the "game" and "chat" settings for the headset in device properties on the Windows side. Most steelseries headsets maintain two channels, for audio and for communications respectively, and occasionally the driver just scrambles things on first connection, and you end up with what Windows calls "Telephone Quality" for one channel, while the other is perfectly fine.
