  1. Or you could get it directly on Steam for the same price.
  2. The colored bit on Vengeance Pro sticks pop off and on and are ripe for painting. Plus Plastidip will peel off in case you make mistakes. I painted mine to match my mobo (got a good deal on the red version, but not the blues ) Before: After:
  3. The Pebble is easily your best choice. I honestly prefer it to the 200-300 dollar ones simply because of the 7 day battery life (that I'm still getting easily over a year later).
  4. Your graphics settings are most likely higher than your friends. The 770 is a significantly faster card. Learn about what settings mean and their impact here: http://lifehacker.com/5985304/get-the-most-from-your-games-a-beginners-guide-to-graphics-settings
  5. As people have already stated, pretty much any newer, low cost Intel CPU would be more than enough. How much are you wanting to spend on a new motherboard/ CPU? I'd probably stick with the Pentium G3258, pick up a Cooler Master Hyper 212+ and overclock the snot out of it.
  6. I do like that Zotac at least tried to unlock the voltage a bit and in general, I'm pretty happy with what I'm seeing from the 900 series in general. The performance, efficiency, and thermals are all quite impressive.
  7. Keep doing what you're doing! Your content has come so far over the last few years, and it has been a lot of fun to keep up with it. I may be an Adblock douchebag, but I have been more than happy to make sure that I'm supporting your channel in the other ways that you offer and I will continue to do so. Also, thanks for all the awesome information. My colleagues and family all think I'm some sort of computer wizard because of my obsessive knowledge of computer hardware... and that's largely thanks to you guys. I got into computer building right around when you started this channel and it didn't take long for me to stumble across one of your videos (by the way, you've taken my original $400 upgrade budget to about $4,000 lol). You've been a huge help to me with not only my hobbies but my career as well. Again, thanks for everything and I'm excited to see where things go from here.
  8. Maybe double check your cable just in case. Here's a reference http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/f/fb/DVI_Connector_Types.svg/522px-DVI_Connector_Types.svg.png
  9. Linus actually offered me a dev kit if I bought the Asus monitor and modded it
  10. It runs at 144fps for me (capped by G-Sync) But my issue is that my second GPU is only sitting at 20% utilization. Anyone else getting similar results?
  11. I believe he meant "light" as in the size of the laptop. Not the amount of gaming he's planning on doing. Especially because he mentioned not caring about having a CD drive. @skaran27 will have to clear this up for us.
  12. Out of stock bro. If you don't mind spending your whole budget, the MSI Ghost Pros are really nice thin gaming notebooks. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA57X1PM2900&cm_re=msi_ghost_pro-_-34-152-594-_-Product There are also lower spec Ghosts that cut a bit of the sting off the price tag.
  13. Asus Pro Art: http://www.amazon.com/PA248Q-24-Inch-LED-Lit-Professional-Graphics/dp/B008DWH00K/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1405799857&sr=8-1&keywords=pro+art+asus
  14. Bargain bin RAM. As long as it works, it's fine for an average Joe computer
  15. I definitely vote "dead card" then. Proceed with the RMA
  16. Do you have another PC to try the GPU in? If not, try moving your PC to a different place in your house to try it on a different breaker. This sounds like a power delivery issue to me, but you may need to RMA if neither one of these options solves anything.
  17. If you want to make the switch to mechanical, you're going to have to get used to the high profile keys... I had to do the same from the Razer Lycosa to a Blackwidow, but I highly recommend going through with the switch. I type much faster on MX-blues than I did on any membrane keyboard.
  18. Pop off the heatsink. Peel off the plastidip, good as new. I've already done it once
  19. That looks brilliant man! It works perfectly with the T-Virus res
