@Syntaxvgm LMFAO.

eBay thinks I contacted buyers on eBay to make a sale off of eBay.

Despite the fact that I really didn't and that there were a few buyers trying to contact me about it when I tried to report them and just ignored them......

Gonna live chat them tomorrow to explain the situation.

    Sorry about that. If you need me to go through Ebay I could, but tell them that you pulled it down due to receiving too many requests for off-site purchasing.

    literally nothing you can do. You can ignore the message, do whatever you want. They literally act against their own terms.

    If you offer or reference your contact information or ask a buyer for their contact information in the context of buying or selling outside of eBay, we charge you a final value fee based on the total amount of the sale even if your item doesn't sell.

    Ive got a lot of stuff I have saved up I need to ebay, and I just...ugh.. I dont want to deal with it anymore. But it's like the only option.

    There's so, so many other ways to sell things. It's not like eBay's been around forever and it's the only way to go.

    I've said it before, and I'll say it again. You know how it works, pros and cons. If you decide to use their service, you don't have the right to complain.

    I don't have the right to complain about their service? I'm the customer, fuck them. I'll complain because that's what you do when you're not satisfied.

    None of those have a chance to sell the types of stuff I want to sell, ebay is the only real option that provides the volume of people looking for these niche things, so I will continue being a customer. I sell a lot of stuff on other platforms, but ebay is the best for some things.

    Just because you're a customer of something doesn't mean you lose the right to complain about the service! Complaining about problems might, I don't know, make them want to address the problems. Not giving them business is not the only option. I want to use ebay, I want them to make things better because they are the best service. They can start by actually following their own terms when they make this automated detection system, would reduce the volume of support calls greatly anyway.

    Say netflix just stops working right for a huge poriton of customers, just wont load stuff. There's probably reasons you want to keep being a customer I assume (dont have them) because their library is what you want. You say "netflix, what the fuck fix your shit" on social media and hope they're pressured to, I don't know, fix their shit.

    Actually it would be a lot like gmail banning people as if they are spammers for receiving spam. A lot of people pay for gsuite, it's great and for out of the box no setup required solutions it's the best. You don't just abandon it, you complain.

    I mean when am I supposed to complain, when I'm forced to buy something? When there's no competition and no way to stop being a customer of like utility services or no way to get the service elsewhere like ISPs- nothing for them to lose so why even listen to complaints then.

    My electric bill for almost no usage now costs more than a few years ago when my house had all incandescent bulbs and ran central air at like 70 degrees 24/7 and did light crypto mining. The fees alone are more than my actual bill used to be when I switched to energy efficient everything- and I pay double for the same usage as a year and a half ago. They raised per kwh rates in January by 31% and added more fees, and now they're going to raise it even more in june. Everyone's pissed and I've even heard random strangers bring this up, but nothing will stop it. They don't have to listen to complaints. At least I have natural gas for the winter, some have to do electric heat I feel for them. Gas provider here is surprisingly good.

    A complaint is "do this because I want to keep being a customer" and if there's no threat of losing the customer, they don't care. It really seems to me like complaints for voluntary services are the way to go.
