  1. http://www.monoprice.com/Category?c_id=120&cp_id=12001 Monoprice is a great brand for generic high quality products and good prices. The link takes you to their headphones, but all of their products are pretty good quality. (btw I have no affiliation with them...)
  2. I have watched since the beginning. You are the reason I have found a passion in tech/computer hardware... I may not have a high post count in this forum, but I have been a long time devoted fan even pre-llt days.... Hope I win! Gratz on the 1m subs, and looking forward to see the giveaway on the livestream. PS... I am typing this on the Corsair RGB K70. It is sooooooo sweet. (You made me wet for it back in January :z)
  3. Just in case i want to do some larger recordings in the future (friend plays drums, I am the vocalist, and another friend plays guitar). The 2i2 is overpriced. For the cost of a 2i2 I can find at least a 8 input mixer with 1/4" out. I am sure the 2i2 is a good interface, but I want something a little more if i am spending that much. I linked in the edit a product similar to the 2i2 that is about half of the price, and I could just buy a bigger mixer in the future. Tell me what you think.
  4. I have waited to buy a new mechanical keyboard since Linus made his Corsair RGB keyboard video back for CES. It seems that people will complain if its released and is a terrible product or if they have to wait for the delays. The only problem I have with this release is that corsair really isn't saying much, and the fact that they gave a time stamp on when it should be out instead of just saying it will be out before Christmas. Then BAM if it was actually released in July people would be flocking to buy it, like with the ps4 random open floors for preorders last year.
  5. Came across some spare change recently and I am looking to burn a hole in my wallet. I am wanting to upgrade to studio monitors for my desktop, and I am not sure what the best solution for interfacing them to the my pc. Stuff I have decided on buying (leave suggestions for another product if you'd like) Monitors - 2x JBL LSR305 (http://goo.gl/C5EBjb) Mic - Sennheiser E835 Dynamic Cardioid Mic - http://amzn.to/1tXh1eA Cables - Generic X:R Cables Boom - Undecided (Please Leave a Suggestion) Filter - Need Suggestions Now the real question is how should i connect it to my computer for optimal performance? I have been leery of USB audio products in the past due to such poor quality, but is this an exception to avoiding USB? The mic will be being used for game chat and vocal recording, and the monitors for general desktop usage. Current Ideas i have had: Buying a USB Mixer. but due to the expense would not get X:R outputs and only around 2 inputs with few eq knobs Buying a normal mixer and somehow find a way for it to interface with my computer (not sure how) Buy this - http://goo.gl/JMI5jZ for monitors and getting a USB mic. Buying a Stereo Reciever and using Toslink to interface (but would need some speaker suggestions) I really would like to have about 4-6 normal inputs and 1-2 stereo inputs on the board. and mainly I want the best solution for the highest quality sound for the monitors. The mic will be used on occasion, but I still want a solution that is less than around $175 to interface these monitors and mic to my desktop (i don't have a sound card). Edit - Thoughts on the product? http://goo.gl/fnq5LJ
  6. I can drive my Beyerdynamics 990s with my fiio E17 quite well. Plus it gives you the expansion of it being portable, and like i did you can add the E09k later if you would like to be able to drive up to 600 ohm cans. My 990 Pros are 250 Ohm.
