  1. Hello fine people, I don't even know where to begin. I was playing Halo Infinite yesterday for about an hour before I quit out of the game to play some brawlhalla with friends. Got into the main menu, joined a lobby, and when the game started, everything froze, PC crashed, and rebooted into windows as normal. No BSOD yet. When i rejoined the discord call, the same freezing happened but I was able to keep the system running and closed discord. That's when I noticed that my D drive wasn't in file explorer anymore. I tried recovering data from the drive to no avail, also used a system restore from about three days ago but that didn't help the drive to show up. Now today, I try to boot and each time i get BSOD, stop code is CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED. Using command prompt I was able to see the files and directory on my D drive, it looks like everything is there. Drive also shows up in BIOS but fails the self test. My C drive has the OS on it, so I am not sure why I cannot boot into windows today when I could yesterday. Any help is greatly appreciated. 2. While I was typing my response, my PC was restated because of handful.exe. This may have seemed confusing but after much trial and error I think I finally figured it out. "Handful.exe," the file, had complete system permissions, hid in the Program Files (x86) folder in a hidden folder that i had to change to non-hidden to view it. If I deleted the file, it would restart my PC and just come back. What I had to do is: 1. Deny all system permissions 2. Change the folder (which was called "Increments") to be visible 3. Individually delete all processes in task manager 4. Delete "handful.exe" before the processes restarted 5. Delete the folder "Increments" There was also a folder called Mkt and maruguerite, if anyone wanted to know. 6. Empty recycling bin, CCleaner, Malwarebytes, etc. It was weird and kept coming back, but I hope it's gone for good. Thanks for all the help guys! This community truly is great. - Stefan
  3. Got it. But I cant delete, not because I dont have admin priv, it's open. I can use JRT and that stops it for a bit, I'll get back in a bit.
  4. It's not showing up in Malwarebytes, Zemana, JRT, HitMan Pro, AdwCleaner. I don't know where it came from and it DOESN'T show up in programs and features.
  5. Hey so I figured out that it's playing audio ads in the background and it's in my audio tray and shows up as like 10+ different sources. Any Ideas?
  6. -SOLVED- Hey guys, recently a program called "handful.exe" has been showing up in my Task Manager and I have no idea where it came from. I was wondering if any of you could shed some light on this process. Maybe it's harmful and I'm incompetent but I would just like to know. Thanks!
  7. Finished my new rig! :)

  9. I know that there must be the proper denotation that the number is repeating, I just don't know how to do that on my keyboard.
  10. Good for you, buddy. I'm glad to hear it. My mobile data was spent well... Jk tho but if you're happy about, that's awesome.
  11. Does it look like .99 and 1 are the same thing? No, it's just a cool math trick for 7th grade Pre-Algebra teachers to tell their students. If you give a cashier 99 Cents for something that costs a dollar, you won't be able to buy it. Yes, since there are an infinite amount of Nines you are very very close to 1 but always infinitely far away due to the nature of infinity.
  12. I've never had an experience with Alienware Fanboys before but today I was enlightened to the fact that the Area 51 is the fastest PC on earth. :P

  13. ^ What he said ^ Might want to change post title, 600 Ti is a bit misleading.
