  1. Yea dawg hax all the way. No lool it's in your system build bio
  2. Sick mod man! But wouldn't the PCI slot get absolutuley raped? Like damn that must be alot of extra weight that MSI never thought of in their design. Nonetheless, sick rig with awesome mod!
  3. I apologize for not replying earlier. I was on vacation. Flashie, my apologies for the damaged LED and the small concern about the lines. From my co-workers, we came with a conclusion that there is potential for a pin in a connector to become loose and perhaps damaged. Although we CANNOT verify. About replacing the LCD, we use this company http://www.laptopscreen.com/English/model/Dell/VOSTRO~3700/ for many replacements. We have had no issues with their parts and their prices are quite competative. I personally suggest saving your money for a better laptop and preffably warranty. Warranty from most 3rd party retailers (BestBuy, Canada Computers) cover everything excluding the battery if you did not physically damage it. I've noticed that you live in South Africa, Since these retailers are not available, there should be vendors (No clue on this) who do "under the table" repairs. Although the screen won't be OEM, it should help. Once again I do apologize for the issues and please advise me if I can be of any more help. Cheers Flashie
  4. Hey Hellbringer3110, Seems like you have a awesome Network card! But it seems as if your network card is not being utilized to it's full potential. The issue here is that your network card supports up to AC. Which is actually great! You'll be getting amazing speeds even if you're on wifi. (Unless you're 100ft away with walls in between) But.... Your router is outdated. It does not fully support the wireless card. You can search for a firmware update for your router/modem and perhaps there shall be some MINOR improvement but nothing impressive. Or atleast nothing I think should be far to impressive. I fear in the worst case scenario, you'll need to replace your router. There are a few expensive models, but I suggest going with the more "premium options" as for they are more easy to setup/maintain and offer higher performance. I hope this helps, please let me know if you need any more help.
  5. Hey UnknownIndividual, I've used a 32" Dynex TV for gaming. I've used it with my PS4 and a steam machine. There was no unnecessary lag but the biggest concern was latency was roughly 1 second. There was the occasional death due to response times but nothing TOO major. If you can live with dying a couple extra times for the extra screen real estate, then I highly recommend going for it! Hope this helps, and let me know if you have any more questions.
  6. Hey Flashie, My name is Karan. I understand your concern and it seems that you've tried the more complex techniques already. Firstly, I suggest going into the OS on your HDTV. Check if your Laptop monitor is disabled. As for most of the time the display will NOT display any video unless a external "monitor" is connected. If you have set the settings to preferably "duplicate" then I suggest using a second HDD with a clean OS. Try to boot the laptop using that. If that fails, it could be that your LCD has been shorted. If your LCD actually did get shorted due to higher amps/3rd party accessory/Ice-storm/etc, then there is little ways to fix this. To fix the LCD, you will first need to disassemble your laptop. (Only the plastics and nothing else, leave all electrical components connected) Disconnect the battery and charger and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Once done, plug in the charger w/o the battery. Attempt to boot the laptop without any external devices connected. If nothing happens, then in my belief, the screen could be permanently damaged and perhaps could need a replacement. I have a few suggestions if circumstances come to it. Best of luck.
  7. Hey TDP I am with TD and Rbc, but it doesn't work with my m8 either. Guess I'll need to find another work around. I downloaded the official Google Wallet app by downloading the APK with a DNS change and having a US google account. But thanks. I'll try the TD app once again seeing if they have an update.
  8. So I'm going to guess it's impossible to set up wireless payments in Canada ?
  9. Hello everyone! I post very little, but ask for alot of help! So it'd be really great if someone could help me out. Alright judging by the title you know what I need help with, but here's the details. I bought the Htc one M8 the day the iPhone 6 was released mainly because I wasn't happy with the results and Linus brags about his. So this is my first Android phone. One thing that I really did appreciate was NFC. Especially wireless payments. Can anyone help me setup wireless payments with my phone? I live in Canada and downloaded google wallet but it doesn't show a option to add a credit card. (By the way, I'm a complete noob to android so PLEASE give alot of detail) If anyone else needs deets comment below!
  10. thanks for canadian amazon url. hopefully if possible you can get a ebay one. I do alot of business purchases there (over 1k a month) and that should hopefully give you a pretty penny.
  11. Damn Linus! Firstly, I would like to say a big congratulations on getting a million subscribers. That's a big number last time I checked. I remember your old videos when it was just you and Slick aka Luke nowadays. Man some things have changed alot but you guys haven't. The humorous funny guys with amazing video quality. I've joined your Youtube channel back in 2009 or 2010. I don't recall to be honest. I was looking for a unboxing for logitech keyboard but no one had one. and who ever did just opened it and just closed the damn video. I liked yours and the sidebar of Youtube showed me more of your videos and then I eventually subscribed. so boo yah! It's great how you have great video quality with epic camera angles but sometimes when you do those quick video shots and just be yourself. Sometimes make a review of your house. Maybe when you complete your house and how everything ends up with the water cooling project. (CANT WAIT TO SEE THE VIDEO!) Lastly, I want to apologize for not commenting on the forum alot. I hate using forums and just comment on Youtube's system, less of a hassle to go to a different forum just to comment in my opinion. Even though Youtube's comments barely work.. Anyways, once again congratulations on your huge success! P.S. That custom gaming rig doe... I like that. I like that alot.
  12. Hey Linus and everyone, Awesome giveaway! I loved the graphics card. Since i'm building a new PC mainly because my old one got destroyed, i'm probably going to need both of these items First things first, my favourite video from "JayzTwoCents" is the GT Omega "Racing... Office... Chair..." mashup review. Mostly because it was a short comedy instead of a review. The amount of jokes were amazing but still gave information about the product. Making me wanting to liston My favourite video from TechQuickie is the water cooling radiators. Mainly because I knew what water cooling mean't, or atleast what I thought. But now I know what the radiator is used for, how it's used for and optimal positions for it. (Top/bottom/front of case) Good luck to all!
  13. My favourite feature about this laptop? Probably what Austin wrote. No seriously, the battery is probably my favourite thing mainly because I want to get a gaming Laptop but the ones that are powerful consume too much power and the ones that don't consume to much power suck. While this bad boy wins!
  14. It was a cool review but it just sucks how you were unable to review battery life due to the lack of network compatibility. But in my personal opinion my favourite feature of the LG G3 would be the Micro-Sd capacity upgrade. It supports up to 128GB of storage which is amazingly perfect for me considering I only listen to high quality music and have 1080P movies on my phone. But since it's 1440P, that'll be even better for a movie buff like me (Y) All in all, it's a great phone and my big *** hands can actually use it haha. Thanks for the review!
  15. Damn, thanks guys! I think I'm going to go with Bluebars answer! Thank you!
