  1. I tested Rockstar Games™ GTA 5™, and AMD™ Crossfire™ was active during game play.
  2. maybe chipset driver?, might be a bios, but that's usually just cpu support, but check.
  3. I have some AMD™ Radeon™ R280's and they are worth £30 in CEX, so check your price. that AMD™ Radeon™ RX480 sounds a lot better.
  4. I have worked out its down to quantum entanglement, the switch is connected some how to another switch, and if you turn the switch on, the other quantum entangled switch is triggered instead, which in turn triggers this switch back off. seems AMD™ have managed to get quantum computing available on there latest devices.
  5. hello, I have the same problem as you, there is a switch to turn on AMD™ Crossfire™ and a on or off switch normally has two states, off or on, I have managed to turn the switch on 4 times a record braking number of states for an on and off switch and a new kind of Advanced micro device™. all the games that support AMD™ Crossfire™(Far Cry™ 5, GTA 5™ and Red Dead Redemption 2™) do not seem s to be able to enable a switch state of on as Advance Micro Devices have a whole new kind of on and off switch that is the latest in technology and beyond the comprehension of mankind. I cant wait for them to make light switches like those of AMD™ latest technology.
  6. as a crossfire user from the ati x1600 days till today, no, I would not recommend AMD crossfire at all. I will list the game that should run on AMD crossfire, fallout 4, has profile and is supported, real world, it crashes all the time, within ten minutes usually. far cry 3, has profile and is supported, real world, its crashes all the time, within ten minutes usually. GTA 5, does not have profile and is supported, runs great on my crossfire. BF 1, after waiting a year,it has a profile and is supported, this now runs fine. dx9 titles like HL2 and its mod games seem to run well. having brought enough gpu power to that of two times a game that would run on an xbox 1 or ps4, I found this option to be bad. I would look at the 3d mark scores for the hardware to make a decision on what to buy, you can find information on what two cards would work like compared to a single card in the same price range. a good fast cpu is needed to gain real performance. most modern titles like fallout 76 and post scrotum which I have purchased seem to not support and run badly on my rig. the latter being something I find offensive to be selling. I only wrote this as I was looking for info on why crossfire is not working with fallout 4. best regards, Mr Perforations
  7. I have an amd fx chip and it does this when benching using cinebench open gl test, I don't know why either. the score just keeps going down....maybe to try and get us to buy new hardware?
  8. I never eat junk food, just ramen noodles, okonomiyaki and burgers. i'm also under weight.
  9. I think I know why it taken all the space. I tried to do some mining and opened a wallet, seems they download a load of hidden files and fill up your pc with junk. don't mine might be the answer, ill wait and see what happens after this fresh install. yer, everything is lagging in windows 10 on my machine, click Cortana and it will take another few to get a cursor up. everything is lagging.
  10. Hello Forum, so I have windows 10 installed, apart from it being 4 clicks instead of 2 click to start up anything, I have a 60gb ssd that I only use for the os, it has become totally full even though I have installed almost everything on a separate drive. so I'm would like to know how much room you are finding you window 10 install to be please? have I messed up or is really going to take that much room just to run the os? going to have to reinstall the os now, brb. thank you in advance.
  11. info for Jumper118... amd 8350, asus m5a99x evo, 1866 8gb and couple of gigabyte 280 in crossfire. the other forum I frequent believes it down to not enough power to overclock, this might be true as the psu calculator says I'm up to 950 watts before overclocking.
  12. hello, 8320 is 125w and the 8370 is 95w , the latter has better overclocking capabilities and uses less power at same clock.
  13. I would say evga psu, they got 10 year warranty on there psu.
  14. screen freezing lock ups, Its believed to be down to not enough power from the psu, despite luke's video, my 1000 watt psu is maxed out at stock using 950 watts , so overclocking is a no go, thus might be causing it to fail when overclocked. the score goes down each time even when at stock. I'm using amd fx 8350.
