  1. thanks, and sorry for the trouble already ordered an evga 850 g+ for my own use warranty should already be off by now since i bought it 2nd hand from 2012-2013 in a different country when i was studying abroad and I'm just looking for a diy project and this interest me as well as if i can still use it, i might use it for my sister's pc which is way less power hungry than mine the internal seems to be all fine from i have seen, just that 1 modular port that has burn marks
  2. not sure if this is the right place to ask this but So the pcie cable on my superflower golden green hx600 melted, and it melted on the modular thingy only, nowhere else and my pc was still able to run fine until I load a heavy load which the pc will then crash and artifacting for a bit before showing no signal, but it was still fine if I restart the pc again (of course after I know it was the psu I didn't dare to turn it on again) but my question is that, is this the case of the not enough wattage or just simply shorting or what? what failed in my psu? my system is : r5 3600 2x8gb 3200mhz ram b350m mortar vega 56 red devil 120gb sata ssd 1tb 3.5 hdd 512gb 2.5 hdd and 3 120mm fans and also, is it safe for me to use the psu again if i dont use the burned port, and recable the pcie cable? because it seems like a waste to just throw it out since it was still working ok even with the damaged cable sorry for the long question, im a noob in psu and trying to understand it a bit better lol
  3. I bought an EVGA Supernova 850 G+ instead, since someone is selling about the same price with the others, just a bit longer shipping time
  4. Hey guys, I am currently looking to replace my psu since my goldengreen hx600 finally buckled from vega 56 running rdr2 on ultra 1080p for 12hrs straight (cable connector on the psu melted) thankfully it didnt actually take anything else to the grave with it but I can get a good deal for silverstone strider gold evolution 750w or seasonic mi2ii evo 750w, which i think both are ranked pretty low in the tier list here is there any reason why i shouldn't go with those two? thanks EDIT : I also found some SPI Magna Gold 750w 80+ gold for an even lower price, which I read is actually FSP Aurum CM without the modular cables I don't really need modularity if I can save some money instead just need them to be good psu that will last years to come
  5. leadtek and gainward are priced at around $340 while the others are priced at $435 in my country is it worth it adding the extra budget?
  6. the thing is, in my country the price difference between gigabyte, msi and asus version to the gainward and leadtek version are almost 100 usd that's why i'm a bit reluctant to get them and wanting the cheaper ones instead, but if it really is worth the extra 100 bucks then i might opt for that instead
  7. is it worth it to increase my budget to get them? what about gainward phantom and leadtek hurricane compares to them?
  8. just as the title desribes, i'm going to upgrade my graphic card to gtx 970 the question is which one should i pick? my budget is comfortable with leadtek hurricane version and gainward phantom version, which one is the better version that i should choose? or maybe other brand that is almost the same price with them thanks before
  9. The screen! I was going to go with the xperia Z back then, but when i saw the screen.... My God that screen was awful. but the screen on Z2 seems awesome! The thing that i like about dbrand? um, what about the fact that they did a throw down with AMD? wassup!
  10. I was searching for HD 5770 unboxing or overview or even a review of it but i think i watched one of his videos even before that from a link in an Indonesian forum when i asked around, the video was when he was still awkward in front of the camera, lol
  11. man, i would love to get a laptop that is signed by all of my favourite tech youtubers but the thing that i love the most from the G550JK is the IPS panel i guess, well that's my second best actually it's because if i do win this then it'll be free, we all love free stuff don't we
  12. what i love the most about the G3 itself is the display, or maybe design? i love how LG emphasize more on their display as the main attraction with that thin bezels and back buttons are the the way to go for me, unfortunately i didn't like the LG G2's overall design and i had no money afterall the best part of the review is at 3:16 for me, not only about the messaging part, which is hilarious, but also the part where you say the resolution is a bit overkill for a 5.5 inches display, of course that is subjective but i agree with you completely linus, it's a bit overkill for a 5.5 with 2k display, i think 1080p is just the best pixel to performance ratio overall. hoping to win one out of the 25 from Linus or the 75 from MKBHD and Unboxtherapy or 10 from TOT and TLD, i just want to win one is all
