  1. correct since the fins are not super close together and it is in the open air of the case.
  2. I think you should stick with your current fan since it reaches the 110 cfm at 1900 rpm, whereas the ultra kaze gets 130 cfm at 3000 rpm. The ultra kaze will sound like a jet engine all the time if you want to utilize the 130 cfm. I think that the extra noise and cost for just 20 more cfm is not worth it.
  3. If your computer is still working, its fine. But you should put them in immediately, the risk of static discharge going into the board will be too high.
  4. If they continue, and make weird cases along with cases that the average person would like, they could become a big contender in the case industry.
  5. Sorry, I thought you were going to get aftermarket fans for your cpu cooler.
  6. Looks fine to me. Maybe add an ssd, if you have a little more money to spare.
  7. 100 cfm fans are usually massive fans that are above 180mm. The fans you get with your cooler are usually 120mm to 140mm. The more cfm the better, but they probably would be much bigger, louder, or more expensive. Just stick with the fans that come with the cooler, the cooler was designed for the fan it came with. Buying better fans wont drastically lower temps, maybe a few degrees at most.
  8. The backplate allows the cooler to be secured to the motherboard, if there was no backplate, it would put too much stress on the motherboard. Since your motherboard is horizontal, there wouldnt be much stress. The hole is for you to be able to access the back of the mobo without taking it off.
  9. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835709021 this beats the 212 evo by a few degrees.
  10. rice, rice baby jk looks pretty racey, as long as you have the power to back it up, your fine. Or you'll just be a ricer.
  11. It is most likely leakers from inside the tech companies that leak info to the news sites.
  12. Thanks for all the replies. We were gonna get a t3i but they were all sold out so we got a refurbed t5i for 629.
  13. My family needs to get a new camera, preferably a DSLR. Our current one is going to shit and our video camera, even though its only 3 years old, sucks ass at shooting videos. We need a camera that can fulfill these requirements inbetween the 500-600 cdn dollar range. Any suggestions?
  14. I believe it can, the case can support coolers up to 170mm in height, the 212 is 159mm in height.
  15. Get the apogee xl since it is swiftechs flagship block and looks better since it can be customized with LEDs. For the gpu, get two 980s, it will probably cost about the same as a single titan black, but better gaming performance and 2 cards in sli always looks better than 1.
  16. Ya, its probably gpu boost like the other said.
  17. It is most likey gpu boost 2.0 doing its thing. Are you using afterburner?
  18. It should be fine since that is the common setup for most h100s and nobody compains . Also since you have so many intakes, there will most likely be an abundance of cold air coming in so hot air wont be much of an issue.
  19. Maybe the pc overheats and goes to sleep. Did you try checking the temps.
  20. The 550w psu should be fine, maybe even more than fine since all the reviews showed that the card took less than 300w to power.
  21. I would go with the amd one since the 8350 beats the 4460 by along shot, it is closer to the 4670k. Plus the higher watt psu will allow for more headroom, versus the 500w.Also, I checked the spec sheet for the amd motherboard, it supports ram speeds only up to 2000mhz, so you could probably save a little by getting lower speed ram.
  22. The sweg in your video is over 9000.
