I'm just getting stressed out looking around, my budget is $300 USD.
I'm getting tired of the bad view angles on my ASUS vg248QE. Its great for gaming but I want another monitor with better colours and viewing angles.
I'd prefer it be above 60Hz if it isn't I'll just try to overclock it and manage with what ever I can get to since I'm not going to use it to play games.
Any help would be really appreciated thank you.
They keep it on 64tick because of the amount of people that don't get a constant 128+ fps.
I've been playing since source and I love this game, I don't know what else I would play..
If you have anything else you can use as a boot drive you should remove it and test without, if the issue is persisting then it could have been a coincidence that it started happening when you installed it.
on amazon the 6600k(237) is actually more expensive than the 7600k (235) only by 2$ you should just go with the newest considering the prices are so close. If you really aren't going to overclock, you don't need a K series. in which case the 6600 (214) is 10$ cheaper than the 7600 (224)
Are you running stock with all of the updates? If you can I'd say try backing up your stuff and doing a factory reset. However if all else fails it may fix itself once we get the nougat update which was last said to be by the end of december I think.
People seem to forget the CSGO is a strange beast of a game. Everyone has different reaction times that will skew your percieved input lag and stutter. What works best for one person wont work the same for another. Skill wise, you'll find very few people ranked LEM+ that are ok with less than 200FPS. In the end its what you play best with. If this guy feels he will play better with more why not just answer the question with what will give him more. I currently have a 770 and get 200-300 varying on map and what is going on in the map. Overclocking can help in csgo it is a CPU hog. Either AMD or NVIDIA top end card will get what you're looking for I think though.
I was recently reading up on general Hz usage, and I stumbled upon a few documents stating that at a progressive frame rate is 1FPS per 2 Hz, while interlaced is 1:1 and there are calculators that back this up. Is this right or is there some misunderstanding here, are 144Hz monitors really only showing 72FPS? I'm really confused, because the general consensus is that Hz is 1:1 FPS. The stuff I was reading did always specifically mention televisions not monitors..
So I'd like some kind of explanation about this if possible because pretty much every one thinks the way I did that it was 1:1.
I would say VR, However I feel that touches along the lines of 3d, I can't enjoy 3d because of my eyesight. So, I would have to go with next gen gaming, I know the example is the steambox, but I'm more interested at where SteamOS will lead to.
