  1. But whats the point? Theyre trying to like compete with MSI but there selling MSI's products...
  2. So i was watching the video this morning and i cold have sworn that ive seen that laptop before. http://www.originpc.com/gaming/laptops/evo15-s/ I did a little bit of looking around and found a different laptop, the MSI GS60 Ghost. http://usgaming.msi.com/Product/2014/Notebook/GS60-Ghost/# Its literally the same laptop, how does this happen?
  3. MUST READ: I have been researching this laptop for about a week ago and the only model is can find that is 4k and touchscreen is on a reputable ebay store (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=301256515327). I contacted Lenovo asking about why they didnt offer this laptop while this ebay store did and the rep explained to me that certain third party sellers of their products choose to have different configurations than those offered directly by Lenovo. For the 4k and touchscreen Y50: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=301256515327 For the 4k only Y50: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834317540 For the 1080p touch Y50: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834317887 Differations between models that i have found include: 4GB/2GB VRAM 1TB HDD/256GB SSD/512GB SSD 8GB/16GB RAM 4700HQ/4710MQ/4200H Processors I will be buying the 4k touch model from that ebay store later on this week, i will try to post my first impressions somewhere on here.
  4. There is literally no way for me to get my hands on one without buying it, the closest retailer is over a hundred miles away. Ive been looking into the GE60 Apache (http://www.amazon.com/MSI-GE60-Apache-Pro-003-15-6-Inch/dp/B00IMTQ3UW/ref=sr_1) and GT60 Dominator (http://www.amazon.com/MSI-GT60-Dominator-424-9S7-16F442-424-15-6-Inch/dp/B00IMTQ5G4/ref=sr_1_5) but i have no idea what the build quality is like or how the overall feel is and i really dont want to buy one without knowing.
  5. Not a console gamer myself, but i would like to know why some people have them. I cant think of many actual reasons to buy a console and not a PC, so maybe someone could enlighten me.
  6. http://www.amazon.com/Micro-SATA-Cables--adapter-Drives/dp/B002P6PBAQ/ref=sr_1_16 Would that work? Im sorta trying to avoid buying that, im on a bit of a budget.
  7. Not bad, imthewalrus. Just a little bit old though. Just a little. My build: Pictures: http://imgur.com/a/FRhrN (specs are in the picture descriptions) Whole tech setup: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AjPR84mxLeK6dDRzNEZ4eEk1WVpnOUdxMDd4MTlIUmc&usp=drive_web#gid=0
  8. Will an mSATA SSD work properly if put into a PCIe 1x slot? I will be buying a new laptop for college and i want to install an mSATA SSD into it, but i need a way of cloning the laptop HDD onto that SSD to keep the OS without having to buy Win8 again.
  9. Running a 4770k @ 4.5ghz, a GTX770 and a HP 2711x 1920x1080 60hz monitor i was able to downscale from 2560x1440 but 4k did not work.
