  1. Oh wow so many replies. I went digging again and also found faststone. Fast Stone worked, and I was even able to display the filename on the Image. Thank you guys for your suggestions. Consider the thread closed.
  2. I'm looking for a windows program that shows a slideshow of images inside a folder, but updates whenever a new image gets added to the folder. The Built-in Windows slideshow feature continues to play the original set of images, even when other Images get added. Bonus: Displays the filename at the bottom. Context: My cousin marries in a few weeks and we thought it would be cool if the guests could send their images to an email and then get those displayed on a screen. To sort of incentivize picture taking. I got it to work that I get the Image automatically saved with the filename being the email Subject + sender name, but the Slideshow won't update when new images arrive.
  3. No, I was only able to find the user manual. I also wasn't able to find anyone describing a similar issue online to what I was experiencing.
  4. My DLP Projector was working fine one day, and two days later, the reds were almost non-existent. In Image 1 you can see the projection on a piece of paper because the projector wasn't fully assembled. However, you can see that the two lines outlining the "No Source Found" message appear teal/cyan (in the image more green but IRL teal/cyan). These should be bright red. Since this is built into the projector software, this is not a signal chain issue. Image 1 Originally, I thought this might be a color wheel issue, so I disassembled the projector and cleaned the (at the time very dusty) color wheel with pure ethanol. The color wheel looks fine now. The problem persists. Image 2 displays the cleaned color wheel. Image 2 One more thing I should probably mention is that after the first disassembly of the projector, I might have lost the little sticker that tells the photosensor how fast the color wheel is spinning. I fixed this issue with a piece of electrical tape. However, since I didn't find the original one, I just chose a size of electrical tape that looked right. I doubt this has an impact on the color, but I thought I should mention this. Thanks for the help.
  5. So I recently bought a PS5 and had a similar issue which I have now resolved. In the hopes of helping other people searching I will post my own fix. I have the Sony STR-SH590 as my receiver and 5.1 speakers connected to it. I also didn't get surround sound even thought I set it as such. My fix was hidden inside the receiver menu. By setting the AMP audio to AMP not AMP+TV it unlocked the 5.1 sound as it downmixed the 5.1 to 2 channel because my projector obviously doesn't have 6 speakers inside. The method is outlined here: https://helpguide.sony.net/ha/strdh59/v1/en/contents/TP0001553369.html In addition it is important for your PS5/PS4 to be set to Bitstream in its settings. I hope this helps. Aeto Edit: The reason I only now ran into this issue was because before I didn't use the receiver for video. I ran an optical cable to the receiver as that was behind me and my PlayStation 4 next to the TV. But a recent move and the acquisition of the PS5 changed the setup.
  6. Wouldn't an nvidia shield TV Pro work just fine? I find those for around 200€ here in Germany. I can't build a computer for that price. At least not with the recommended parts.
  7. All of your suggestions would definitely work, however I thought of some think pre-built. Also, isn't what you're suggesting overkill?
  8. Hello, I'm looking for a media PC that supports 4K UHD out and allows me to decode 4K video files from my NAS, and decode the stream from steam in home streaming. Size isn't a factor, cost is. Recently moved into a larger space and my TV is no longer right next to my PC. I'm guessing machines like this have gotten quite affordable, but I'm very much out of the loop. Any suggestions, and maybe things I should look out for? Thank you
  9. I care about the drive, not the data on it Also I had to void the warranty about a year ago.
  10. Hey people,I have a huge problem:I recently had a power outage, and after that my Computer no longer wanted to boot. I had windows on an NVMe SSD.Now I installed Windows on a different Drive in order to check out what is wrong with this drive.Originally I was able to see the two partitions on the drive but when I tried to look at any data I got the Error message "E:/H: is not accessible. Incorrect function"Since the drives have disappeared from the Windows Explorer. They are however, still in Disk Management, and in diskpart of the command promt. (see Screenshots)I have tried a few third party softwares, but nothing worked.Right now I don't even have any hopes for my data, and only want my drive to work again, but I am at a loss which is why I come to you.I tried to Format or delete the drive from the Disk Management window and diskpart (see screenshot) but it doesn't work. At this point I only want the SSD to work again. Right now I don't have the money to buy another, and it is out of warranty. It's a Plextor M8Pe(G) M.2 SSD by the way. Do any of you have any ideas? Please help
  11. I don't have another computer with an M.2 slot. But I might try a PCIe adaptor however, I don't think anything would change. M.2 NVMe plextor 512GB
  12. I can't format it - look at my screenshots or even read what I wrote.
  13. Recovery tools never seem to find the drive. Also as I said I don't really care for a backup, I just want the drive formatted and working again. It being broken is what I am worried about right now.

  15. Yes good point. Noticed that as well. Yeah I heard Intel has the space heaters now, and I might go with water cooling, however a huge noctua radiator would probably work fine as well. But thank you for your answer.
