Building my first Gaming PC and can't decide
Valkyrion replied to Logical0.1's topic in New Builds and Planning
In terms of peripherals its really more like a personal preference for me id grab G502 if its cheaper in your country. About the Hyper X Cloud II or HS70 it depends on your setup whether you want cable running through your desk or would you want wireless and not interfere with anything both works and performs almost similarly, i just go for the better build quality for longevity so I would say Hyper X Cloud II's for me, Last but not the least the processors, well it seems like they have the same price so I would say get the beefier one. -
Are you overclocking? If yes i suggest BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 4 or Noctua NH-D15 on air and any 240MM Rad AIO will work AFAIK. If you're not OCing at the moment, You can stick with stock cooler and buy those options later, if you are not comfortable with intel stock performance get a hyper 212 and upgrade later if you are ready to OC ur 8700k

ideal GPU, Sound Card and PCI-e Wi-Fi placement
Valkyrion replied to Valkyrion's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
Thank you very much for that information. So therefore it is okay to put my soundcard on the last pcie slot because as you guys stated it doesnt affect any performace even for 1080 ti. -
ideal GPU, Sound Card and PCI-e Wi-Fi placement
Valkyrion replied to Valkyrion's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
Thanks for your advice! Yeah I thought of it too because the pcie Wi-fi is much smaller. I'm confused because some say if I put it further away (last 16x slot below the wifi) it would make my gpu run at 8x speed? -
Hello guys and good day! I have a Gigabyte Z370-HD3 Motherboard and I'm kinda confused where to place these explansion cards where my GPU wouldnt run hot or throttle for ideal ideal airflow. I have a GTX 1060 (top pcie slot) Creative Sound Blaster X AE-5 (1st pcie 1x slot below gpu) TL-WN881ND wifi card (2nd pcie 1x slot below the 2nd 16x slot) Would this affect my GPU Cooling or should I move my sound card further away?

Thanks for suggesting! Can this render faster than any other $800 machines out there? hmm maybe its too much for me..
-
sorry my bad, there it goes now, I was too busy, I completely forgot to put the budget

Hello there and good day! Is this good or can you guys tell me is there any bottle necking in this build? http://pcpartpicker.com/user/einsteinvashj/saved/MQvD4D You can help me guys re tweak this build because I really have no further experience on building cuz I'm so noob I hope it is worth the money, my general tasks daily are : 10-20 tabs for browsing, forums, youtube, social medias and web developing. rendering some 480p - 1080 vids. play games like league of legends and dota2 My budget is $850 - $900 If I can save some more without affecting the performance in a significant way it would be good. I already have my peripherals because I have an old gaming rig my brother gave me including its peripherals.

I like the camera and most of all, i like the LTT Skin! Its super awesome! and also the fact that it is water proof and submerge-able its so cool!
-
I bought a $550 laptop for nothing, too stupid of me. I should have build my own rig much efficient

really love that easy to clean brushed aluminium finished on the back of the screen, also that dual cooling fans on the bottom (because temprature in my country sucks and my ASUS X202E run at 90°C almost every day), that would be a very nice feature for people who work on places that has extreme temperatures, and those speakerss they rock
